The 1987 version of the TV series "Dream of Red Mansions" let people know the ancient city of Zhengding, which is not far from the capital. During the National Day, we drove straight to Zhengding. When I entered the city, I found that there were a lot of tourists from other places. When I saw the policemen maintaining order at the intersections and the coordinators wearing red armbands, the outstanding feeling was that many people were at work and had no vacation.

National flags are flying everywhere in the ancient city, a festive scene. We drove around the small town, got a general understanding of the distribution of tourist attractions in the city and the traffic conditions, and then parked the car in the stipulated free parking lot. Started a one-day tour of the ancient city.

Rongguo Mansion and Ningrong Street are the first stops we visit. Before traveling, you can buy a joint ticket for the panoramic attractions after seeing the guide introduction. When you arrive at Rongguo Mansion, you will find out that the scenic spots in the ancient city that charge are Rongguo Mansion, Longxing Temple, and Zhaoyun Temple. The rest of the attractions are free.

Rongguo Mansion is the filming base of the TV series "Dream of Red Mansions" (87 edition), and many scenes were filmed here. Walking into the scenic area, there are wax figures of figures in every courtyard. From the wax figures of figures, we can know where this place is and what stories have happened.

When I was young, I especially liked watching this TV series. With the development of the plot, I laughed and cried. I watched a TV series four times. I didn’t understand some parts and I watched it again and again according to the original. Therefore, when visiting the Rongguo Mansion, the scenes of the TV series I watched 30 years ago circled in my mind one after another, and the theme song of Dream of Red Mansions echoed in my ears all the time.

All the buildings in Rongguo Mansion imitate the buildings of the Qing Dynasty, and they are also well-regulated buildings of the feudal family. Divided into east, middle and west roads. From south to north in the west are the Chuihuamen, Chuantang, Huating, Jiamu’s main house, and Sister Feng’s house; Lady's Court, Jia Amnesty Court. Many flowers and trees are planted in the garden, which better reproduces the palaces of princes and princes in the Qing Dynasty. Ningrong Street is located on the right side of the gate of Rongguo Mansion, and it is also a commercial street with a strong antique flavor.

After "Dream of Red Mansions", as a film and television city, more than 200 film and television dramas such as "Bao Qingtian", "Kangxi Dynasty", "Who Controls Ups and Downs" and "Begonia Is Still" have been filmed here. There is also Cao Xueqin Memorial Hall in the park. Here you can see the historical process of the Cao family from prosperity to decline.

Wandering around in the garden, I found a very elegant courtyard with the words "Dream Coffee House", and a water sign "Free tea, free hot water" stands next to it. Out of curiosity, I went in to see what happened. Sure enough, this reminds me of some phenomena I saw in the ancient city.

In front of the scenic spots in the ancient city, I saw a "Learning from Lei Feng Volunteer Service Station". The service station provides tourists with free hot water, mobile phone charging, service guides, emergency medicine kits, free umbrellas, sewing kits, bicycle pumps, wheelchairs and more.

When you walk out of Rongguo Mansion, there are battery cars dedicated to running scenic spots at the door, and all of them are free to ride. On the way to another scenic spot, the driver parked the battery car at an intersection and told the two passengers to take a bus to the train station from here. After careful inquiry, I found out that the two tourists from other places had to catch the noon train to return home, and the young driver took them to the nearest location by bus. The driver master told us that there are four battery cars of different colors in the city to and from all tourist attractions. On the street, if you have any doubts, just ask the police and volunteers standing at the intersection, and you will always get the most satisfactory answer. The ancient city provides a centralized free parking lot for all self-drivers who come to travel. Traveling here, you can feel the warm friendship everywhere. Through the small town, I saw a long-lost change, and saw the return of our nation's fine traditions!

While walking, I saw the "Hebei Zhengding National Table Tennis Training Base" on the side of the road at a glance. Table tennis is the most glorious and proud sport in our country. Looking at the models of trophies in the courtyard through the wall, it seemed as if the national anthem was playing in my ears, and I saw the rising five-star red flag again.

At the entrance of Rongguo Mansion, there is a Zuiyuelou restaurant, which mainly deals in traditional Hehe noodles. Many people come to taste them. We also ordered steamed buns and Hehe noodles. Because the noodles are rolled from soba noodles, the texture is far less smooth than white noodles.
