I have been out many times, but this time is very different. This is the first time our family has driven out to play. We used public transportation before. Although it is worry-free, compared with self-driving, the degree of freedom and comfort is still somewhat limited, so we enjoyed this short-distance trip very much.
Although the first self-driving is all in the process of exploration, we are very wise to travel off the peak again, avoiding the crowds, and we have a good time. The return journey is during the holidays, and the expressway is free, so there is only 110 yuan toll for the round trip. It took only 5 hours to arrive. Later, I heard from some Beijing tourists that it took 17 hours to arrive on October 1st. . . Peak staggering is simply too sensible.
Because the traffic is controllable and I don’t want to rush the itinerary, I want to slow down the pace and experience the different scenery along the way, so the general route is along the coast, from north to south, Huludao-Qinhuangdao-Beidaihe-Nandaihe-back to Beijing . We were afraid that our parents would be too tired, so we didn’t go to Pigeon Nest and Biluo Tower Bar Park. These two spots are more suitable for getting up early to watch the sunrise.
Our specific itinerary is
9.29. The first day Beijing - Nine Gates of Huludao - Zhimao Bay - Suizhong Binhai Santorini Theme Hotel
9.30. On the second day, Qinhuangdao’s No. 1 Pass in the World——Old Dragon Head——Lin Family·Jingxiang Courtyard in Shanhaiguan, Qinhuangdao
(Because I want to stay longer at the beach, it will be smoother if I go to Laolongtou first. Fortunately, it is close, so everything is fine)
10.1. The third day Jiaoshan Scenic Area - Sea Playground - Beidaihe Yaotang Art Wine
10.2. Day 4 Sand Sculpture World - Beijing
The following is my self-made route map, including the location of the attractions we did not go to, I hope it will be helpful to everyone.
In order to avoid the National Day travel peak, we set off two days in advance. We drove from Beijing at around 8 am on the 29th, followed the navigation all the way to the east, and started our trip along the Beijing-Harbin Expressway. Sure enough, it was easy to go on the high-speed road, and the road was smooth. I stopped twice in the service area halfway, because I bought a lot of snacks and stocked them before departure, so my mouth was not lonely. O(∩_∩)O~ It took about 5 hours to arrive at our first destination - Jiumenkou Scenic Spot in Huludao.
There are really few people! ! ! So much so that we all suspected that we were going the wrong way. . . Because there is no car in sight. . .
One thing to remind everyone, the ticket for Jiulongkou is 80 on-site and 65 online, but it needs to be booked 4 hours or one day in advance. The parking fee is 10 yuan, and there were basically no cars parked when we went. . . Play for about 2.5 hours. There are black car drivers lying around in the parking lot, as well as taxis, which is also convenient for free travel.
The Great Wall at Jiukoukou was originally called "a piece of stone pass". The reason why it was called "a piece of stone" was that in order to protect the Great Wall from being destroyed by floods, the builders of the original city paved continuous pieces of huge granite strips around the piers and on the ground upstream and downstream. It is said that more than 12,000 pieces of stone were used. The riverbed under the water gate is paved with slices of stones, which looks like a huge stone slab from a distance, so it is also called "a piece of stone".
In the 14th year of Ming Hongwu, Zhu Yuanzhang ordered Xu Da to build the Great Wall, and then a piece of stone pass was taken by Jiumenkouguan. It is said that Li Zicheng and the Qing army also had a "stone battle" here, which shows the uniqueness and importance of the geographical location here.
This is the perspective from outside the water gate.
There are nine door openings, so it is called Jiumenkou. There are triangular pillars between each door opening, which are very strong, spanning the water, forming a solid barrier.
Entering the water pass, there are separate walls on both sides of the city wall. In ancient times, one's own people could reach the front line through the waterway, and go up to the city wall from the door openings on both sides to convey information or reinforce supplies.
The afternoon sun is warm, the shadows of the mountains and the Great Wall are projected on the ground, there is no shelter or cover from tourists, everything is so natural, blue sky and white clouds, and the water closes the Great Wall.
There are few people, and even the field of vision is wide. The Jiumenkou Great Wall is not too steep. It is more famous for its geographical key points and water fortifications.
Viewed from the inside of the beacon tower, the windows for defense and shooting are high and low, making full use of the space.
An apple monologue. Let me add here, the apples and duck pears sold by the old farmer by the city wall are really delicious, 5 yuan a basket, sweet and sour, the pears are soft, and the juice overflows after one bite, facing the breeze and setting sun on the Great Wall, looking at the magnificent scenery, Add some flavor.
As you gradually climb up, you can have a panoramic view of the entire Great Wall on the water.
Back in the day, the area beyond the Shuiguan was the residential area of the common people. The river flowed through the plain, irrigating the fields of many families, and how many households depended on the city wall stretching for several miles for their safe lives. The era is full of crises and challenges, but it is also very simple and harmonious.
The part on the opposite mountain is the protected old city wall. Along the ups and downs of the mountain, it twists and turns. It can be seen that part of it has collapsed and is impassable, but it also has a sense of historical vicissitudes.
It is said that "you are not a good man if you don't reach the Great Wall". When it comes to the Great Wall, first of all, it is crowded with people, which is daunting. And here, since the Golden Week is not yet here, and it is afternoon, there are basically no tourists. Occasionally, a few pass by. They are small families, young lovers, and groups of friends. Every wave of people has a story. On the empty city wall, rubbing Looking over the shoulder is very friendly. └(^o^)┘
Taking advantage of the setting sun to take pictures of the long legs of our family of three, haha O(∩_∩)O~
Turn back to the parking lot, search the navigation and set off to Zhimao Bay. 25 kilometers apart, 40 minutes by car. Don't worry about unfamiliar roads, walk along Zhijiu Road, this is a newly built road for tourism, it is very smooth, and the scenery along the road is not desolate, so you can rest assured.
There is no charge for Zhimao Bay. When you are about to arrive, you will enter the fishing village. It’s okay if you can’t get around some of them. Just follow the navigation and take up any place to stop. Maybe it's because the peak season has not started, there are few people on the beach, and there are nearby fishermen fishing, and some are repairing fishing nets. It feels very life, not like the commercialization of tourist attractions.
The sandy quality and sea water of Zhimao Bay are not suitable for diving and playing on the beach. There are many fragments of shells and dead seaweed washed ashore by the sea. But when you smell it with your nose, there is no fishy smell of sea water, but the vast smell of the sea. . .
In the afterglow of the setting sun, facing Jieshi in the east, you can see the sea.
It is hidden here, simple and natural, and it still presents the true and pure blue sky, blue sea and fishing village. Standing on the beach and looking far away, several rocks protrude from the water. This is the legendary Jieshi full of stories.
Fishermen's fishing boats are not as high-end as I imagined. A small engine and a flat boat are enough. If you pull the fishing net, you will have a source of life, and the gift of the sea will support everyone. . .
I remembered that poem
"Heavy rain falls on the swallows, the white waves are surging, fishing boats outside Qinhuangdao.
A vast ocean is gone, who knows where?
The past is more than a thousand years old, Wei Wu waved his whip, and there is a posthumous chapter near Jieshi to the east.
The bleak autumn wind is here again, and the world has changed. "
The color of the sea will change depending on the weather. When it is clear, the sea surface reflects the blue sky, which is also thorough. And when the sun sets or dark clouds pass by, the sea surface looks a little scary.
When I was about to return to the car, I met a fisherman selling fresh shrimp skins with dried shrimps. I don’t like small shrimp skins very much. After a few bites, I felt that the shrimp skin should have the taste in my impression, so I bought some to bring back. Although there is no manufacturer or date of production, but this is what you eat.
Starting from Zhimao Bay, we drove to the hotel. The hotel was also found on Ctrip, and the evaluation was good, because when we brought our parents out to play, we naturally had to choose a hotel with better environmental facilities. The hotel is very close to the attractions, about 10 minutes by car, and it was already 7:30 in the evening when we arrived at the hotel. The hotel's parking spaces are on the side of the road, there is a long list, first come, first served, haha, it is estimated that the peak season will depend on grabbing parking spaces.
The room is large in size, and the main body is in white tones, which looks very clean.
When you come out to look for food, there is a food street downstairs. Looking all the way, there are seafood and home-cooked dishes. Every restaurant has open-air tables outside the house. You can imagine the grand occasion of food stalls in summer. This golden chopsticks seafood is not bad, fresh, cheap, a delicious meal, tempted by the food and forgot to take pictures, haha. . .
After dinner, I wanted to go around, and found that there are quite a lot of vacation apartments nearby, but few of them are lit, and the roads are very clean. Occasionally, a black car will drive by, and it will slow down and wait for us to take a taxi. The feeling on the road is like the road conditions on the first and second day of the first lunar month in Beijing. The difference is that although there are few black people on the road, there is no unsafe feeling. It is like the streets of Australia. The shops are closed at night, but the sporadic lights still convey the breath of life, telling people the off-season of the seaside city. The few tourists are the same. What you want is the gentle sea breeze and a relaxed mood.
The next day, I had breakfast in the hotel and set off to the first pass in the world. As soon as I got out of the hotel and walked on the Binhai Boulevard, I found that there was a beach along the road. I couldn't resist the temptation, so I found a place to stop and dive into the sea.
An unknown beach, but the scenery is very sultry.
Occasionally, a few fishing boats float on the sea, the seabirds hover in the sky, and the sea breeze blows, which is very pleasant. Facing the sea that can swallow everything, everything seems very small, and the endless vastness is eternity at a glance.
Pay attention to the shipyard in the distance. This is a bay that stretches into the sea. When I went to Laolongtou in the afternoon, I saw the other side of it. Walking along the coastline all the way, when you look at the place you passed by when you arrived, it feels really wonderful, and you really feel like measuring the land with your feet.
An abandoned boat was also found by the sea. The yellow paint was peeling off, and the railings had faded into pink. Compared with the blue sky, it was very peaceful and picturesque.
It’s hard to bid farewell to the beach and set off. Because of the 20-minute journey along the coast, the eyes are always overwhelmed, and the first level is reached in the blink of an eye. The parking lot is 10 yuan an hour, and the cap is 40 yuan. Tickets bought on Ctrip are 98 yuan (including various scenic spots in the first pass, tickets for the old leader, and sightseeing tickets in the scenic area). The paid attractions in the first pass include the first pass in the world + Bell and Drum Tower + Wangyang Tower + Ying En Building + Wang Family Courtyard.
After we entered the scenic spot, we originally wanted to follow the map, but later found that we were easily dizzy, and the scenic spot was an urban area like the ancient city of Pingyao, with scenic spots, as well as remaining residents and Hutong houses. Later, we decided to invite a tour guide, 160 people for less than 5 people. It turned out to be necessary, saving physical strength and time, and heard many historical stories.
At the entrance of the tower at the first level, I am not used to the lack of people.
The first pass in the legend is very grand, and the National Day has not yet arrived, so the square is still very empty.
Climbing to the first gate tower, looking westward, the prominent tower is the Bell and Drum Tower in the center of the entire scenic area, and further west is the Yingen Tower.
The plaque on the first pass is imitated on the outside, and the real one is inside the house. It is said that it was written by Xiao Xian, a talented scholar in the Ming Dynasty. The word "one" was added later. According to legend, Xiao Xian always couldn't write a word well when he wrote the plaque. This is the feeling I always wanted to write but failed to write, so I wrote it down. Therefore, this plaque was completed by the cooperation of two people, so it was not signed.
These dots on the edge of the tower are called "Eagle Eyes", which are used to frighten the falling birds, lest they hinder the guards and soldiers, and have the same effect as the bird-striking bells on the ancient buildings in Beijing.
Looking to the east, this small city is the real object of the legendary urn to catch the turtle, leading the enemy into the city and annihilating them in one fell swoop.
This location can clearly see the junction of the old and new cities. The city bricks with rounded edges and corners slowly show traces of history.
There are no group photos of passers-by A, B, C, and Ding.
Pass through the square in front of the first pass to the center of the scenic spot, the Bell and Drum Tower. Standing on the Bell and Drum Tower, the view is still very good. It is also an ancient city, so the style and appearance are well maintained. There are four plaques on the four sides of the Bell and Drum Tower, and the one on the west is called "Chaojing", because the rewards and supplies from the capital will come from the west. The plaque on the east side says "Yingxu" is the place where the sun rises. The south side is "Wanghai", and the north side is the entrance and exit of the Bell and Drum Tower, with "Guan Luan" written on it, which is still very vivid.
Looking to the north and looking at the mountains, it is worthy of the name.
Quaint streets, no commercial atmosphere, no crowds of tourists.
Like Ying'en Building, Wangyang Building, and Jingbian Building were newly built later. The building is nothing special, but the cultural relics and introductions displayed inside are worth seeing. The main reason is that there are few people. Does it feel like a private room? If there are a lot of people, I probably won’t even be in the mood to go up. . .
The scenic spot is quite large, and it would take a lot of energy to walk, and the neighborhoods are similar, so this kind of sightseeing car that stops and walks is very convenient. There is one in about ten minutes, and the fee for the sightseeing bus is included in the pass.
The last stop was the Wang Family Courtyard. I didn’t have high expectations at the beginning. After all, I have seen the Wang Family and Qiao Family Courtyards in Shanxi, but after going in and explaining, I found that it was really unique and the value for money was excellent. The Wang Family Courtyard is known as the first of the Great Wall. The Wang Family was founded in the Xianfeng period. It was once rich and famous, and it was known as the "Southern Half City" of Shanhaiguan. When Wu Sangui guarded Shanhaiguan, he lived here with Chen Yuanyuan for a while. Later, when the descendants of the Wang family moved to Taiwan during the war, the house was confiscated. (It’s a pity for the Wang family, haha)
It is really the animal skin and carved wooden chair from that year.
The mahjong tiles used by the ancients for entertainment are very similar to the present.
The layout of Wang's house is not as numerous as the large courtyard houses in Shanxi. The layout is compact, but the inside of the house is small. The house in this Wang family is spacious and flexible in layout. With the green plants in the courtyard, it has the moistness of Jiangnan gardens and the atmosphere of northern courtyards. It has the demeanor of a rich family and feels more suitable for living than the courtyards in Shanxi.
This carved bed is simply stunning! ! ! Even the Forbidden City has never seen such a luxurious bed. This is a historical original, it is the owner's marriage bed, and I specially wrote down the scientific name, which is called "Six-post Small Open Door Carved Canopy Bed". The bed is at the innermost, and the middle floor is the dining area after the door is closed, as well as the furniture for washing and dressing. The outermost layer is convenient, complete with bedpans and lanterns.
This is the famous four buns. I was really hungry after traveling around for a long time. Although there was only pork and green onion filling, it was really delicious. Even my mother, who doesn't eat much meat, ate several in a row. In addition, the eight-treasure rice tastes good, with the aroma of honey and sweet-scented osmanthus.
After drinking and eating, get up and prepare to go to Laolongtou. The distance between the two places is 6 or 7 kilometers. You can take a special bus at the parking lot of the first level. It is very convenient, but we think it will be more comfortable to drive, and we don’t have to worry about missing it. Take the shuttle bus, just drive there, and it will arrive in ten minutes.
The scenic spot of Laolongtou also has a large parking lot, the parking fee is 20, and the ticket is included in the package, so you can directly enter the scenic spot. It is said that this place was also built by Xu Da during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty. In order to resist foreign invaders, the reason why it lasted for a long time is that many large iron pots were buried in the base during the construction to reduce the impact of waves on the Great Wall, um. . . It's also very smart.
The old leader clocked in, even if there were very few people around.
The protected old city wall is rammed with loess, the brick pattern is already unclear, and it is rare to see the real remains.
This beach is packed after a day and our timing was just right.
The sand here is very fine, and it must be a good place to escape the summer heat and play in the water in summer.
The shipyard mentioned earlier, I saw the other side of it here. It is quite interesting to pass through the entire bay in one day.
This is an interesting place in the scenic area, called the Eight Diagrams Array. It is said that the maze was rebuilt according to the Eight Diagrams. After walking around twice, I found that there seemed to be only the only way out. I saw many skilled people jumping around on the maze. I can't find the way out, haha, the design of the maze is also very user-friendly, the wall is not too high, one is because of the good view, and the other is probably for the convenience of climbing over the wall.
It was nearly five o'clock when I came out of Laolongtou, and drove to the place where I lived. It took more than ten minutes to drive around, only to find that it was in the first pass of the city in the morning. The Lin family enjoys the courtyard http://hotels.ctrip.com/hotel /14303199.html?checkin=2018-10-11&checkout=2018-10-12&OperationAction=HotelDetail&RepeatAction=HotelDomestic_Repeat_HotelDetail, this is the address of Ctrip, because I am very satisfied, so I recommend it. On the map, I only found that it was close, but I didn't expect it to be in the ancient city at the foot of the city wall. The hotel has a closed internal parking space and a dedicated catering department, everything is very convenient inside. And it happens to be able to enjoy the night view of the ancient city, which is also a pleasant surprise.
Driving into the ancient city from here, I thought it was restricted. After entering, I found that the street was very wide and there were not many people. It was no problem to drive.
After dinner, I turned to the Bell and Drum Tower, which I visited during the day. Tickets are required for going upstairs to visit during the day. Usually, you don’t need a ticket to transfer downstairs. There are also residents’ houses around, which are also brightly lit.
There is an open-air platform on the second floor of the boutique hotel. From a distance, it is the Bell and Drum Tower just passing by.
It was temporarily decided to go to three people, so the sofa was changed into a bed, and the service was very attentive. The room is spacious and clean, with a faint fragrance. Many details in the hotel are very humanized and refined.
The interior decorations are very active and warm.
The hotel is a courtyard with several entrances, and the night view is also beautiful. Each side room and the main room have been transformed into guest rooms, a total of 12 rooms have their own names, very elegant.
The nutritious breakfast provided by the hotel tastes very good, and it can be seen from the presentation that it is very careful and delicate. It is worth recommending.
After breakfast, I drove to the destination on the third day. Jiaoshan is not far from the first pass, only 20 minutes by car. Jiaoshan is the highest peak of the mountain barrier in the north of Guancheng. The altitude is not high, but the mountain is majestic and undulating. On the winding hillside, it looks like a dragon head wearing a horn, so it is called Jiaoshan. There was once a poem that said, "Since ancient times, the Great Wall has been full of dangers. The natural dangers and key passes are on Jiaoshan Mountain. The Great Wall hangs upside down from the peak, and you can look down at the Guancheng in front of you." Tickets are 35 per person, it is very convenient to book on Ctrip. The parking fee is 20 yuan, pay-per-use. We spent more than 4 hours on the mountain, but it felt like it passed quickly.
We went early and arrived at the gate at 9:30. There were not many people, so it was not too happy. One more thing, it is still necessary to prepare trekking poles for the elderly, which can relieve the pressure on the knees.
There are few people on the Great Wall.
We didn't climb fast, we stopped and walked, enjoying the scenery, and the Great Wall is also rare and clean. But after a while, tourists came up one after another, but it was much better than the peak of the Golden Week.
Every other section of the Great Wall will have a platform for tourists to rest their legs without hindering those who continue to climb the city.
Mom's picture is also domineering, haha.
As far as the eye can see is the sea, and you can see everything in front of you.
This is the most difficult section to climb at the top of the Great Wall, almost vertical, but the more challenging and exciting it is.
Only one person can go up and down, and the stairs need to be protected by iron rings, but they are absolutely safe. This is the real way to climb the Great Wall with both hands and feet.
After passing the most difficult section of climbing, the upper part is much more relaxed, and there is less climbing up the Great Wall. The ancient city wall is protected, and the road gradually becomes a city-mountain road.
On the way to the mountain, you will pass the Xianxian Temple, which is the view from the entrance of the temple.
It is said that this is the place where Xiao Xian, who wrote the plaque of "The First Pass in the World", studied hard when he was young. In his imagination, he was hugged in the mountains, like a paradise, but in reality, the light in the house was dim, and the surroundings were sparsely populated. It always felt a bit desolate, and there was no light in ancient times. It will be even more lonely if you think about it, and it is not ordinary people who can concentrate on studying here.
Yansai Lake, seen from the mountainside, is still holding a pipa and half covering its face.
Climb up along the mountain road, walk past the toll office of the cable car, and continue upward, and you can see the nearby scenic spot - the panorama of Yansai Lake from a distance. There are mountains in the lake and water beside the mountains, which is very aura, so it is no wonder that it is called "Little Jiangnan".
This is the top of Jiaoshan Mountain. Sure enough, the view from the top is the best. It has an excellent angle to see Yansai Lake, and the air is also good. It is suitable for deep breathing and sunbathing.
Going down the mountain hurts the knees the most, so I chose to do the cable car.
It is already October 1st, and the festive atmosphere is quite strong. . .
It was still early to come out of Jiaoshan, and the coast was heading south. I originally searched for a sailing club, but the actual road changed, and I couldn’t find it after several rounds. There are also some water sports, such as speedboats, water bicycles, etc. If you go out to sea by speedboat, the asking price is 80, and you can bargain for 50 yuan per person. Stayed at the beach for over an hour.
It takes only half an hour to get to the hotel from the beach, but the hotel is still good, except that the parking lot has to detour on the street behind and borrow the place of the People's Cultural Palace, other than that it is good. The hotel has its own food and beverage, which is relatively cheap.
The greening on the roadside is really thoughtful, and it is rare to see such a street greening with a sense of design.
From the hotel, it takes about 40 minutes along the coastal road to arrive at the Sand Sculpture Ocean Paradise around 9:30. Such a large parking lot, all free, is simply too touching. Tickets are bought on the spot, 75 per person if you don’t watch the ocean show inside, if you want to buy online, you have to go early, because the ticket will be issued for a while.
There are many recreational facilities inside, and the water entertainment items are basically free, except for sea items and performances. The garden is large but not tiring, and each area has its own characteristics. Well worth going.
Sand sculptures can be seen everywhere, not made of sand, but artificially finished sculptures, sprayed with sand-like paint. All sand sculptures are vivid, accurate in shape, and cute in action.
I like open spaces
Take Dad to experience the sand slide. There are not many people in line, and the speed of free fall is very exciting. Although it is free, there will be photos taken after you come down, and you can take a souvenir if you meet a good one, 10 yuan a piece.
In addition, there are places to experience golf and archery, because there are few people and there is no need to queue up.
The sand sculptures in this square are all cartoon images, which are very suitable for children to play.
We will be at the beach soon, and this water-spraying sculpture should be the place where we wash after swimming in the sea in summer.
The sand here is soft and delicate, and it is warm in the sun, and it is very comfortable to step on it with bare feet. Although the sea water is not very cold, swimming in the sea is prohibited in the scenic area, but wading in the water is still possible. Lying on the soft sand, it seems that all worries are gone. It is the real blue sky, sunshine, beach and sea breeze. . .
The beach that filters out tourists is beautiful.
After playing until 2 pm, I was ready to return to Beijing. I encountered a high-speed traffic jam on the road and stayed in the service area for more than an hour. . . It was already past 8 o'clock in the evening when we arrived in Beijing. The most beautiful thing is the time when the family is together. Every minute and every second of the journey is warm, happy and worth remembering.
Looking forward to the next trip! ! !
