Dali is my second visit. The last time I came here for a business trip, I stayed for two days in a hurry. Although I saw few attractions, it was enough to make me like this city.

Traveling with friends this time, we rented a car from eHi. Here in Dali, the attractions you want to visit are not very concentrated. Renting a car is very necessary. There is no need to go to the bus station or bus station to wait for the bus, and there is no need to consider any frequency issues. Wherever you want to go, just drive the car and go. Very chic.

Back to Dali

There are not many direct flights to Dali, and many of them require connecting flights. For example, there is only one flight per day from Beijing to Dali, and the price is very expensive, basically around 2000 (one way). My suggestion is to fly to Kunming, take a train from Kunming to Dali, and then rent a car from Dali Railway Station.

There are also friends who rent a car from Kunming and drive directly to Dali. The advantage is: you can see the good scenery along the way.

We chose the first one. Go out of Dali Station and walk about 100 meters to the right, and you will see a store. We rented a Magotan. Although the price may be more expensive than other models, the Magotan is more comfortable to ride, and the trunk is also suitable. We have a lot of luggage.

The story starts from the ancient city of Dali

It was almost evening when we arrived in Dali on the first day, so we drove to have a meal and then went back to the hotel to rest. Came out early the next day to play. We live in a homestay. In well-known cities like Dali, Lijiang, and Wuzhen, homestays are not bad.

The destination is Tianlong Babu Film and Television City, but we first passed the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple. Several people did not ask to get out of the car, but took a few photos in the car. Then went to the film and television city.

It has to be said that the film and television industry is diverse in driving consumption.

Tianlong Babu Film and Television City is located on a mountain at an altitude of 2,200 meters. I seldom come to places with high altitudes, and the most worrying thing is the high reaction. In fact, it only takes a little while to get used to it.

You can take the ropeway here. You can choose the whole course or the half course, we are half course. Mainly I want to save time to go to the next attractions.

The scenery here in Cangshan is really beautiful. After coming down, I was very lucky to see the heart-shaped cloud, which is so beautiful. Just this cloud, many people took pictures, it was really a surprise during the itinerary.

Down from Cangshan, I ate something nearby. Dali Ancient City started to play and play.

The literary and artistic atmosphere of Dali Ancient City is very strong, and the point is that it still has a Jianghu atmosphere. No wonder Mr. Jin Yong liked it here when he was writing martial arts novels. Or it is precisely because of Mr. Jin Yong that this place has a lot of quackery.

Freedom in Xizhou

Xizhou Town is one of the most famous attractions in Dali. Here belongs to the natural landscape and its abundance. The vast world, Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake are far away, three people play here, everyone is very relaxed. The three of them made an interesting decision when booking a room, a family room. The family room of Helao Tianyuan Hotel is really good. In the 2+1 mode, everyone can still chat.

Saw blueberries. It was also the first time in my life that I saw a blueberry tree. No wonder this thing is so expensive. I don't see a lot of blueberries on such a big tree.

I drove to the Erhai Lake, and the environment is very good. The blue sea and blue sky, seeing many young ladies taking travel photos here, I think it is beautiful when I think about it.

Afterwards we drove to Geothermal Country Hot Spring. In recent years, I especially like to soak in hot springs. It is said that the hot springs here are very famous in China.

Many people buy hot spring boiled eggs, which are very delicious. The egg whites are soft and the yolks are hard. I opened it and thought it was delicious. I wanted to buy some more, but people bought them all, so I had to give up.

In the evening, eat directly in the homestay. I still want to praise again, the homestay here has been done with great care.

We also ate a variety of mushrooms which were delicious. Eating mushrooms in Yunnan is definitely a kind of happiness. I have never seen many fungi.

 

Xun Gu Town｜Shaxi is Different

Shaxi Ancient Town is another ancient town in Dali. At this time, I also saw a particularly beautiful sunflower. It's really beautiful.

Walking on the road, I saw many dilapidated houses. For us tourists, it has become a landscape instead.

Various vegetables were sold in the morning market. At this time, I would think, if there is a gas stove, it would be great if I could have a big stir-fry here. I like the damn fireworks. I like it so much.

Girlfriend: Excuse me, what kind of food do you cook?

Instantly brought me back to reality.

None of these family planning slogans have been replaced. I feel that this is also a trace left by the times.

Passed a temple on the way. There are actually several temples here in Yunnan, but we didn't go inside. Just passed by the side of the road.

The private kitchen dishes here in Dali are also delicious. We ate a variety of fried meat which was delicious and it was delicious.

I have to say that southerners have a very peculiar ability in cooking, and it may be because of my inner workings. I always feel that even rice is more delicious.

Every August and September is a good time to eat matsutake. You can see a lot of matsutake here in Dali. The more expensive matsutake tastes really good.

The night sky in Dali is really beautiful. Listening to the singing of birds, looking at the starry sky in the distance, and having a good night's sleep.

Casual travel｜Spend a day wandering around

Woke up very late this day. At noon, I went directly to a not very well-known restaurant for dinner. The old Biyuzhuang we went to. It's in a yard. Inside is hot and sour fish, with a lot of tofu and yams added, it is delicious.

Then drive to Shuanglang Ancient Town. When I used to travel, I always had to recruit ancient towns from various places, but in Dali, there are many ancient towns.

The scenery of Shuanglang Ancient Town is extremely beautiful. The price of homestays on the Erhai Sea is also extremely high, basically 1500+ per night, even so, the rooms are full during holidays. Like me, I can only live in five or six hundred B&Bs, but it's worth it.

When you arrive in Yunnan, you must eat rice noodles, which are very delicious. It is really different from the rice noodles eaten locally. The point is that there are so many rice noodle shops in Dali, and there are many to choose from.

After that, it was Xizhou Town. The half day I played last time was not enough. This time I went into the Yan family compound. Here you can feel the life of Xizhou people a hundred years ago.

The compound is indeed very grand. In fact, ancient people were also very good at enjoying it, and I and other social animals are completely incomparable.

On this day, I took some photos slowly. After eating Xizhou Baba, it is not the same thing as Changsha’s Ciba.

We stopped many times on the way back from Xizhou Ancient Town to Dali Ancient Town. There are many places here that are too suitable for taking pictures, and I can't help but take pictures.

After a trip to Dali, I became more fascinated with Yunnan. As for Shangri-La, which I like, I have never been to Lijiang. I simply made an appointment with my best friend. During the winter vacation, I must go to Lijiang to see what another Yunnan looks like.
