D1 Escape from the rainy Shanghai and run to sunny Beijing

For a person who loves life, he can't get up early and go to bed late, so the high-speed train departs from Hongqiao at 8 am, which is in sync with the usual working hours, so he won't be too tired. The two met at the station, and the high-speed train took four and a half hours, and it didn't take long to arrive at Beijing South Railway Station. Get out of the station and obediently queue up for a taxi, because you are too lazy to call a taxi, or because there are not many people in the queue, happy and happy! It takes about 20 yuan to arrive at Beijing Cuimingzhuang Hotel in half an hour. The antique lintel reminds us that we have come to the city of Beijing with its history and cultural heritage. This place was originally a guest house for the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. Landscape paintings were displayed in the corridors of other people's houses, but old photos with historical significance were displayed in their houses. The room is small, tidy and clean. The most important thing is that I was worried about finding a place to eat, but as soon as I walked out the main entrance, there was a row of restaurants across the road. I was very hungry, so I randomly chose the one facing the hotel gate, "Dawanju". The store is bright and clean, and I don’t have the energy to study the recipes, so I just eat a bowl of noodles with fried sauce. The noodles in the north are generally much better than those in Shanghai, and they will be wiped out in a while.

Jingxinzhai closed Beihai Park

Going out of Didi to the north gate of Beihai Park, the arrangement is to go to "Jingxinzhai". As a southerner, Suzhou gardens are very impressive, and Jingxinzhai is the essence of garden art in northern courtyards. I want to see and compare different garden buildings in the north and south. But only when I entered the door did I know it was closed. One of the disadvantages of traveling on the go is that we didn’t do our homework well in advance. Fortunately, we are casual people, so let’s take advantage of the opportunity to visit Beihai Park.

D2 National Museum

I made an appointment online last night to visit the National Expo today. After waking up naturally in the morning, the restaurant opposite the hotel provided breakfast, small meat buns, white porridge, and noodles with fried sauce. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the National Expo through navigation. I feel that modern people cannot go out without navigation. There were not many people in line. I heard from the staff that there were a lot of people last week. I was secretly glad that I entered after checking my ID card. As soon as we entered the hall, the security personnel were lined up, and we were flattered by this posture. The ceiling of the hall is very high, and the sculptures of revolutionary figures all the way make you feel small. Turn around and go to BI to start visiting the ancient Chinese exhibition hall. As a museum novice, I had to rent a tour guide voice machine, and I found out afterwards that it was definitely the right choice.

Let me make some complaints. Although we are satisfied with spiritual food, the catering department is very disappointing. It feels like a small street shop, which is extremely disproportionate to the National Museum. Coffee, tea and other beverages can be served, and pastries to satisfy the hunger, but there are only some bagged snacks, and the place is cramped.

I went out to Wangfujing, found a small hot pot, but forgot the name, because I was tired and hungry, I buried my head in eating. I wanted to order staple food, but was told that there was no dim sum. This shop only serves food related to hot pot. Northerners do business. So honest. Thanks again to my girlfriend for choosing such a good hotel, and I returned to the hotel after a few steps after eating. I walked a total of 16,000 steps today, and one word is "tired". I went to bed early and prepared to go to the Forbidden City tomorrow.

D3 Forbidden City

Thinking of yesterday's hard work, today is really a little frightening. Early in the morning, breakfast was settled opposite the door. When I was going to the Forbidden City to queue up for the security check, I heard from the security guard that I could enter through the Donghua Gate, and there was no security check line there. We immediately turned back and walked towards Donghua Gate. Although there was a long way to go, there was no security check, so we went directly to Meridian Gate. There are too many furniture in the emperor's house, which can only be arranged in multiple layers like a modern garage. Although it is exquisite, it seems that the sitting feeling is not too comfortable. It is true that the ancients paid attention to sitting upright, and it is absolutely impossible for Ge You to lie down.

Continue to walk in and come to the Hall of Supreme Harmony. There are Jialiang and sundials on the left and right in front of the hall, which represent the unity of weights and measures and time, and also symbolize the unity of imperial power. I didn't make an appointment for the Clock Museum and the Treasure Museum when I made the appointment, but I went there later.

Looking at this huge clock ornament, it has exquisite shape and complex structure. When the time is announced on time, all kinds of characters will move. My doubt is that the surface of the clock is so small. Is it for people to see? I don't need to look at the specific time if I want to come to the emperor. It really is poverty that limits my imagination. All kinds of clocks are beautiful, definitely much more beautiful than modern watches. Sure enough, money can transcend time and space.

This is the single-sided Nine-Dragon Wall in the Forbidden City, and the double-sided wall in Beihai Park. I think the ones in the Forbidden City should be more exquisite, but we ordinary people are naturally incapable of distinguishing them.

We mainly wandered in the east, and went to the famous Yanxi Palace. Because the two of us don't watch Gongdou drama, so apart from the name, we don't know why there are so many people in this place. In a dilapidated place, most of it was destroyed. Fortunately, I saw a Longquan porcelain exhibition, which is a hobby of my girlfriends. I stayed for more than an hour. D4 Tiananmen Square

I booked the high-speed rail ticket back to Shanghai this afternoon, and I still have time in the morning. My best friend decided to go to the National Expo again. I was going to Tiananmen Square, so we set off together after breakfast. After waiting in the security check line for a long time, we finally entered Tiananmen Square. Although there were fewer people than last week, it was still a bit more for me. Maybe there are too many people, so it doesn’t look like an empty square, and I couldn’t choose a good angle to take pictures, so I simply gave up and went to the Monument to the People’s Heroes and Chairman Mao Memorial Hall opposite. It finally made up for the regret that I have never been here in Beijing many times. Take time to go back to the hotel, and meet your girlfriends for lunch, barbecue and dumplings at the "Dawanju" opposite. Then go to the high-speed rail station and return to Shanghai.

Four days passed in the blink of an eye, and the weather, food, accommodation and transportation were all satisfactory, and each person spent about 2,500 yuan.
