Huairou, Beijing is a beautiful place. There are many scenic spots here: Yanqi Lake, Hongluo Temple, Huanghuacheng Water Great Wall, and Shentangyu. It is very close to the city and has convenient transportation. People who live in the east love to go to Huairou on weekends. I have taken my twin brothers to climb Hongluo Temple many times, lived in Yanqi Lake State Guest Villa, and participated in football camp activities there. However, I have never lived in the "sun" building (or called the moon) in the east of the sunrise.
Travel alone without children, 2-day tour at Sunrise Kempinski Hotel
I made an appointment with my friends to live in Sunrise East for a day, and I can take beautiful pictures, and the weather was very good that day. We laughed and laughed along the way. The short trip of the old mother without the baby was exciting.
Fanqi Road is my favorite section in Huairou. It was the only way to go to Shan Bar for dinner many years ago. The Sunrise Kempinski Hotel by the Yanqi Lake is the focus of this landscape. On the highway, on the Yanqi Pagoda, and strolling along the Yanqi Lake, the Sunrise East looks like the sun just rising on the horizon, against the blue sky of the mountains and rivers. In the evening, it looks like a full moon on the sea, romantic and lively. There is a harmonious symbiosis between the building and the environment, as if it is here, and the landscape will be alive and more beautiful with it.
The rooms of the Kempinski Hotel have floor-to-ceiling windows on the entire wall, and the scenery outside the window is unobstructed. You can watch the starry sky while lying on the bed, as if you are living in the center of the landscape painting.
The island opposite the hotel is the Yanqi Lake International Conference Center, which is also the Yanqi Island State Guest Villa. More than a dozen villas of different designs surround the Yanqi Lake International Conference Center. The Yanqi Pagoda on the island has the best view, overlooking the conference center, large green areas, villas, and the circular building overlooking the east of the sunrise. Watching the sunset here in the evening is beautiful.
After check-in, enjoy a set of elegant Western-style afternoon tea. The three-tier plate is rich in food, including salty snacks, sandwiches, croissants, macarons, and classic opera cakes and red velvet cakes. With the scenery outside the window, immediately switch the mood to vacation mode.
Afternoon tea and full dinner can be postponed, and have a happy hour of dinner + supper at the famous brewery. Liangmaqiao Kempinski's Brewery is a childhood memory of many Beijing children. Whenever you can drink beer, you must go here for a drink. The appetizers in the brewery are also really delicious, the salad sauce is very authentic, and the lye bread is exquisite in shape. It seems that the chef has made too much and is too skillful, and each one is hung on the shelf happily. Special meat plate with sauerkraut, as long as the number of people can eat it, it is a must! There’s roast pork knuckle, smoked schnitzel, steak loaf, snail sausage, frankfurters, Thuringians and mashed potatoes with beer gravy.

There is a bridge at the back door of the hotel, and the bridge head is a great place to take pictures. You can ride outdoors. Rent a bicycle at the hotel and you can ride all the way to Yanqi Island. The scenery is superb! The interior needs to borrow the scenery from the floor-to-ceiling windows, and the wide-angle shooting is very shocking.
Climb to the villas and golf courses on Yanqi Tapai Island, and enjoy the sunset and sunrise at the Oriental Kempinski Hotel on Yanqi Island.
