Is there anything more serious than my procrastination when I write my travel notes for 2018 in 2020? Thanks to the serious records in WeChat at that time, it is possible to make this sorting possible two years later; also because of this special period, let time If it slows down, then reorganize the travel notes to keep the memories fresh.

In February 2018, I went on a sightseeing trip to Taiwan, just after the Lunar New Year.

It took me a while to prepare the clothes, and I also searched for suggestions from many travelers on the Internet. In February and March, some said that single clothes are enough, some said that sweaters are enough, and some said light down jackets It is a standard configuration; later, a netizen finally put forward a saying called onion wearing method. I didn’t understand it at the time, but I realized it after I personally experienced it. Because it’s a round-the-island tour, you have to bring all the clothes for all seasons. When it’s cold, you only need one set pieces, like onion skins. In Taipei, it often rains in February, and it is still quite cold. At most, a light down jacket is enough, but the further south you go, especially to Kenting, it is too hot to go out.

On February 22, at 11:10 a.m., I arrived at Taipei Taoyuan International Airport by plane. The queue for the inspection was very long, but no noise was heard. The whole process was quiet and orderly, so it took less than half an hour. Hour.

After picking up the luggage, the first thing to do is to rent a WiFi sharer, which can be done at the airport, and the Internet is finally available at 12:30.

If you have cash, buy an Easy Card quickly. The first recharge is at least NT$500/card, of which 100NYS is the card purchase fee, which is non-refundable. The EasyCard can be used basically in transportation in Taiwan, and can be used for shopping in convenience stores all over Taiwan, and can also be recharged in convenience stores!

Take the MRT to the hotel. That is what we call the subway, the red car is a direct train, and the blue car is an ordinary car, you have to look carefully, otherwise you may not arrive at the station you want to go to!

Looking at the scenery through the window of the MRT, the vegetation is too rich, green everywhere!

Arrive at the B&B and rest.

It was raining heavily in Taipei; the original planned itinerary had to be changed, but fortunately, the homestay we stayed in was very close to the 101 Building, and we could just walk there! Ten minutes later, I arrived at 101. Because of the weather, it was only open to the 83rd floor. Since I couldn’t climb to the top, I felt that there was no need to wait in line for so long. I just strolled around the fourth floor and bought some Taiwanese snacks. There are cultural creations such as refrigerator magnets!

At night, I took a taxi to the Raohe Night Market and found that its neighbor is the Matsu Temple, which is brightly lit.

Raohe Night Market is also familiar to everyone. In fact, I am already full, but I still have to come and see it. Don’t miss it when you pass by. To be honest, the night markets in various cities are almost the same now. This is my first impression of Taipei. .
