By chance, I encountered a bottleneck in my work recently and changed a job, so I had the opportunity to come to Beijing for induction and business training.

I took this opportunity to revisit Beijing. The last time I came to Beijing was in 2002. I was a third-grader in primary school, a kid who didn’t understand anything. The only impression I have now is the memories of the Great Wall and Beijing Roast Duck (at that time I don’t remember what kind of hotel it is, and I don’t remember whether it was 900 yuan for a case of Peking duck or the cost of the whole meal. According to the current price on the menu, it should be the latter)

The editor flew from Guangzhou to Beijing on the 12th. I chose Daxing Airport as my destination. I came to take a look at this recently highly rated international airport. After arriving, I found that the space shape of lotus petals is quite special.

It’s 6:00 p.m. when we arrived at the airport. There is a subway at the airport. After taking your luggage, you can take the elevator to the B1 floor to take the subway. The app can scan the QR code to enter and exit all the subways in Beijing (the subway needs to swipe the QR code once every time you transfer, which is a bit different from transferring in Guangzhou). My first stop was a hotel near the Qianmen subway entrance, so that I could walk to Tiananmen Square early the next day to watch the flag-raising ceremony, and at the same time, it was convenient to go to the Forbidden City, see ancient buildings, and pet cats.

After checking in at the hotel, it was about 7:30 in the evening. When I walked out of the subway, I found that it was still very cold. This kind of coldness can no longer be called cold, it feels like freezing, but everyone should know that the weather in Beijing is getting colder now. After all, the first snow in the Forbidden City has just been trending. In Beijing, a three-piece set of gloves, scarves, and masks is indispensable in winter. When you see the apple red on the faces of children on the road, you feel that there is a particularly northern atmosphere.

I didn't choose a particularly economical hotel, and I couldn't afford to choose a star hotel. I chose a newly opened hotel with a courtyard layout. After opening the door, I found that it had some classical Roman navigator themes. No more description, just upload the picture!

After putting away the luggage, people are still quite hungry. Go out and look for food. There are many commercial streets in Dashilan, Qianmen, most of which are familiar brands such as cloth shoes and Daohuacun. Sheep and scorpions are the main ones. The first meal I came to Beijing, of course I had to eat better, so I chose a roast duck restaurant. At the beginning, I ordered a whole roast duck and a duck soup (soup is an indispensable meal for Cantonese) ), the boss came over while swiping his phone to find the guide, he asked me if I was alone, I said yes, he looked at me in surprise, and then said, I think you can’t eat a whole roast duck by yourself Let me replace it with a half one for you. I quickly looked at the diners around, and the roast duck on their plate turned out to be half a piece. I quickly told the boss that I also thought it was too much and I didn’t look at it just now. If there is a half size selection on the menu, then change half size for me. The speed of serving food is average, maybe there are quite a lot of people in the store to deal with.

Don't look at how many cakes there are in the snack box. I suspect it is a bottomless pit. After tearing one piece after another, the ducks are finished, but the cakes are still there. It's pretty good for a person to finish eating the ingredients in the picture when he is hungry. If you are full, the few vegetable leaves in the soup are just right to help you understand the greasiness. The taste of roast duck rolls is similar to the ones I ate when I was a child. Generally speaking, the sauce is sweet and greasy. I can eat all the duck meat thanks to my hunger and the habit of not wasting. After eating, I headed back home, and stopped by to enjoy the moonlight in the city.

The pixels of the mobile phone are average. I believe everyone can see the brightness of the moon. The decoration of the whole street is in the style of ancient buildings. Wash and sleep at night, adjust the alarm, and prepare for the flag raising in the morning of the next day.

I don’t know if it’s because I’m excited and haven’t had a good rest. I woke up as soon as the alarm rang, washed up briefly, changed clothes, and ate a few egg tarts I bought yesterday for breakfast. I went out to watch the flag raising. It’s the first time. It is inevitable to be a little nervous to participate in this kind of activity. After all, there are not many opportunities to watch the flag raising in Tiananmen Square in a lifetime (mainly because of laziness). I was so nervous that I forgot to report the alarm to my friends. 3:00, kidding ? The flag-raising turns out to have a regular time, and it changes subtly from 4 o'clock to 7 o'clock throughout the year. The editor left the door at 3:30 in the morning. There were almost no pedestrians on the road. Occasionally, I was disturbed by the appearance of a bronze figure on the side of the road. I walked along the navigation. The destination of the navigation was Tiananmen Square. Walking on the street, There are a lot of feelings, this is too many poles, it completely separates the sidewalk from the motorway. At this time, finding a pedestrian tunnel icon made me, a foreigner, very excited, and went around. In Tiananmen Square, some figures also appeared on the street. After exchanging pleasantries, I found out that some people still thought that the flag was raised after 4 o'clock. Well, if we go together, at least the long night will not seem particularly lonely. This is not to encounter a stray cat by chance (I hope there is such luck in the Forbidden City. )

Walking and walking to the tower of Tiananmen Square, cars pass by in an endless stream on the brightly lit Chang'an Avenue, the temperature at night is only -9 ℃, the wolves in the north can freeze to two ha in the south, and the teenagers in the south have already started to lose weight in the north up. Jogging, cross-stepping luck, stepping backwards, a series of movements were seen by the armed police brother and frozen in my lower body. (It is strongly recommended that you wear two pairs of long johns and two pairs of socks)

Intermittently saw the armed police brothers running and patrolling

The banner lights on Mao Zedong's tower will go out after 4 o'clock, and only the lights on the five-star national emblem will remain.

When the flag is about to be raised, there will be armed police brothers standing up to see if you have crossed the border (I will also use iron fences to separate you. I suggest that when you look for a location, look for the location of the pillars on the left and right sides of the city wall. Of course, go to the location early will be better)

The sky is getting brighter and the temperature will be warmer. At this time, my sleepiness and coldness make me almost give up watching the flag raising, so I gritted my teeth and persisted.

Here they come, the guards will come out from the center of the city wall with the national flag, and walk across Chang'an Avenue to raise the flag (careful friends will find that this is a photo of them walking back). The editor thinks that raising the flag is a serious matter, so they are here When I walked out and raised the flag, I didn't play with my mobile phone, and I seriously performed the attention salute I learned in elementary school. Li Cheng, take a photo as a souvenir.

Seeing the national flag fluttering in the wind, the editor felt a sense of pride in his heart.

The editor booked the ticket to the Forbidden City this morning on the Internet yesterday. The ticket must be booked one day in advance. There are two time slots for entering the park in the morning and afternoon, and you can enter the venue by swiping your ID card on the spot.

The Forbidden City is very big, but there are also many people! ! !

Pass through the Tiananmen City Wall and follow the flow of people to the entrance of the museum.

There are too many magnificent buildings in the Forbidden City. The editor of this palace and that door really can’t remember. I chose to take a few pictures of the walls and buildings. The sensory effect in reality will be stronger. I am worried about infringing on other people’s portrait rights. I turned the camera angle up a bit.

Here are some interesting things~

It's a pity that I didn't meet the royal cats in the Forbidden City. Let's come to a group of cute cats.

Of course, our imperial belt... fish guards are indispensable.

When I saw these doll cats, I had already left the Forbidden City Museum. Before I left, I asked a passer-by to take a photo of the cats for me.

The day's activities are completely over, flag raising + Forbidden City tour is more than enough for one day, and those who still have energy can go to Jingshan Park opposite Shenwumen to climb the mountain~

Saying goodbye to the museum, the editor started counting WeChat steps along the frozen moat. 1W 2W 3W 4W, at the end of the day, I'm already the cover occupant of 200 people, hehe.

The editor's haggis soup and Beijing fried noodles have already been served, and I will not be able to share with you until next time.
