From Bisezhai Railway Station, we continued our self-driving tour to Changqiaohai National Wetland Park. This park is not well-known. I also hope to have an in-depth tour in Mengzi, so I found this park.
Changqiaohai National Wetland Park is located in the north of Mengzi City. We searched according to the navigation, and the one that led us to it was actually Changqiaohai Barbecue Ground. I think this park should not be circled, there is no gate to the park, and there is no charge. After entering, what I saw was a natural lake with azure blue water. Although the sun is very strong, the wind is also very strong, which is very comfortable to blow. There is a wide grassland by the lake, and a group of cattle are grazing leisurely. On the top of the mountain opposite the lake is a row of large windmills that generate electricity, and the scenery is really pleasant.
However, the scenery here is not as good as the scenery we saw on the way here, and I can’t see the feeling of wetland in my impression. There are many meadows in the lake we saw on the road, but we didn’t stop because there was no place to park. It is said that many migratory birds fly here in winter, but unfortunately we can't see a few.
The development level of Changqiaohai National Wetland Park is indeed relatively low, and it is still relatively primitive. There are no road signs, and it is not clear which location is the best viewing place. So we were going to leave for the small town of Nisu, and followed the navigation. Unexpectedly, the roads around the lake were all gravel roads, which were not very easy to walk. After walking for a few kilometers, we found a beautiful place on the side of the road. It really feels like a wetland, with a lot of aquatic plants, yellow and green aquatic plants, blue lake water and sky, all three colors are gathered together, the colors are bright and strong, the photos are really beautiful, and it is worthwhile to come here once.
