Great Wall Forbidden City Tiananmen Square,

The soul of China with a long history.

Guijie Houhai Wangfujing,

The taste of the new year in the imperial capital is more mellow than wine.

One has the Xiaoling Mausoleum of the Ming Dynasty, and the other has the Ming Tombs; one is proud of the Ming Palace, the other is proud of the Forbidden City; one is famous for salted duck, and the other is famous for roast duck; both are proud of the city walls, which attract worldwide attention. The ancient capitals have hosted the Olympic Games, and they all have a long history and splendid culture... In my vast country, there are two cities that are so similar but have their own characteristics-Nanjing and Beijing, which are also known as "Beijing" in the whole country. named after the two cities.
In the Spring Festival of Bingshen, in order to experience the pure Chinese tradition and strong folk customs, we started a trip from the old capital to the imperial capital.

The bullet train traveled from south to north on the vast land of the motherland for nearly four hours without stopping for a while. We came from the old capital to the imperial capital. Walking out of the high-speed rail station, the scene in front of me has not changed much from 10 years ago. Of course, with the development of the times, Beijing Railway Station is no longer a place where tourists rush to take pictures, but the overpass is still there, and the supermarkets I visited before have introduced many new products.

Not far from Beijing Railway Station, it is the hotel we booked. After walking for about 5 minutes, we were already chick in at the front desk.

Check in the hotel that has been booked in advance, put down the luggage, take a short rest, and then rush to the first stop of the itinerary - Nanluoguxiang.

The last time I went to Nanluoguxiang was on a business trip to Beijing six years ago. During the intermission of the meeting, with the strong recommendation of my local colleagues, I sneaked around for a while. Revisiting the hometown this time, naturally has a more intimacy.

Unique store signs, exquisite products, delicious food, and crowded crowds are enough to reflect that this is a very popular place in the capital. Walking leisurely, buying snacks lined up in a long line, and stopping at the entrance of the souvenir shop, a section of the street that is not too long is actually so interesting.

Unknowingly, the sky gradually darkened. After shopping for an afternoon, everyone was already hungry. The first meal in Beijing is of course copper stove hot pot, mutton and authentic Erguotou.

After wolfing it down, my bones warmed up and I became more energetic. Continue to walk, and within a short distance, you arrive at the famous bar street in the imperial capital——Houhai Bar Street located in Yandai Xiejie. Although it was a winter night and the outdoor temperature was very low, it still couldn't hide the bustle and noise of Bar Street. The lights are feasting, the crowds are crowded, and songs are heard from one bar after another, as if the whole Houhai is boiling.

The next day, the hotel's morning call rang on time, and we simply washed up and went out quickly. Since I paid special attention to the distance to Tiananmen Square when I booked the hotel, the bus stop was just outside the hotel gate. After three stops, I came to Chang'an Avenue. There is still a long distance from Tiananmen Square, and it is difficult for the crowd to move. The early morning in the northern winter is cold, but being squeezed among so many people does not feel cold. Although the sky is not bright yet, if you follow the flow of people, you will definitely not get lost. After dozens of minutes, we were moved to the security checkpoint, but after passing the security checkpoint, there was a large open space in front of us. At this time, we were very close to Tiananmen Square, and the sky was turning white. Around the square, there are dark crowds, and it is impossible to find a good position. Against the backdrop of cheers and "crackling" flashing lights, a bright red five-star red flag was rising on the flagpole in the distance, and the national anthem resounded throughout the square. When the red flag reached the top, there was another burst of cheers.

After watching the raising ceremony, we went back to the hotel, and after breakfast, we went to the downstairs of Tiananmen again with the same bus route, the same crowd, and the same security check. Due to the reservation made on the Internet in advance, we successfully entered the place called the Forbidden City by the Qing Dynasty - the Forbidden City. Magnificent architecture, exquisite design, centuries-old stories, unparalleled treasures, any words to describe the Forbidden City are so superfluous.

Walk out of the Forbidden City and walk along the moat. On the other side are brown city walls, square attics, leafless trees, and frozen river water. The Chinese ink painting Danqing.

When you come to the imperial capital during the Spring Festival, you want to feel the traditional Chinese culture, so the Ditan Temple Fair is the best choice. All kinds of entertainment programs and folk characteristic handicrafts set off a strong festive atmosphere.

Like Xinjiekou in Nanjing, Wangfujing in Beijing is also famous as a commercial street, where a wide variety of commodities show the prosperity of the city. The long pedestrian street is the concentrated essence of the whole capital.

The imperial capital during the Spring Festival is no longer the "first block", but an out-and-out empty city. On the third day, we also got up early, and the road conditions were relatively smooth. We soon arrived at Changling, the head of the Ming Tombs. Under the introduction of the tour guide, we learned a lot about Chinese culture and Feng Shui. "One fate, two luck, three geomantic omens, four accumulating yin virtues and five books", it seems that under the concept of materialism, fate also has a certain truth.

Coming out of the Changling Mausoleum of the Ming Dynasty, the road was smooth again, and we finally came to the foot of the Badaling Great Wall. Like the Forbidden City, any language introduction to the Great Wall is so superfluous. Taking the cable car is just to save time. Of course, you have to rely on your own feet to climb the "Hero Slope" to achieve the feat of "If you don't reach the Great Wall, you are not a hero". Standing at the crenels of the Great Wall and looking at the undulating mountains from a distance, the "Oriental Dragon" really deserves its reputation. The majestic, magnificent, mighty, and majestic have all found the best annotations. ".

After returning to the urban area from the Great Wall, the sky began to rain heavily, and the imperial capital in winter finally showed its true colors. Braving the heavy rain and the cold wind, we came to Guijie Street, which is famous for eating. Although the last time I came to Guijie was ten years ago, I still pretended to be familiar with the road and found a restaurant. In such a cold weather, still boiled mutton, copper stove hot pot, and a bottle of Erguotou, it feels so refreshing, no matter how heavy the rain or the cold temperature is no longer scary.

On the last day, go to Prince Gong's Mansion as planned. But for some reason, the door was closed to thank the guests, so I could only take a few photos of "visiting here" at the door.

Then walking along the road, I returned to Nanluoguxiang unknowingly, and continued to feel the authentic flavor of the Spring Festival.

I will never forget this trip: Although it is not the first time I have been to the imperial capital, it is still a special flavor to come here during the Spring Festival to feel the strong festive atmosphere. The ancient capital has a traditional festive atmosphere. The Forbidden City and the Great Wall inherit the long history and splendid culture of the Chinese nation. If you want to travel from modern times to ancient times, but at the same time can't give up the modern and convenient life, then please come to the imperial capital!
