From the end of July to the beginning of August every year, it is time for family outings. I just came back from Russia on August 1. After a few days of rest, I plan to go to Saihanba. It just so happens that we have never been to the Summer Resort, nor have we been to the Ulan Butong Grassland. Before the trip, I inquired about relevant strategies on Ctrip, and preliminarily formulated a self-driving tour route. I set off on the afternoon of August 5 and returned to Beijing in the afternoon of August 8. The following is a chronological record of the tour process.

On August 5th, depart from the North Fourth Ring Road at 2:00 p.m., navigate through Baidu, and arrive at Chengde Mountain Resort Hotel (already booked on Ctrip before departure), and arrive at around 5:00 p.m. The Beijing-Chengdu Expressway is more than 200 kilometers long. The toll for the Beijing section is more than 60 yuan, and the Hebei section is more than 30 yuan. The total is about 100 yuan. After check-in, you can park your car in the hotel parking lot for free. Across the road from the hotel is the main entrance of the Summer Resort. There are many restaurants around the hotel, it is very convenient to eat.

Around 7:30 in the morning, check out and store the car in the hotel. Have breakfast near the hotel, then cross the road to the main entrance of the Mountain Resort, which is the main entrance of Li. The Summer Resort was first built in 1703, and it took 89 years to complete after the Kangxi, Yongzheng, and Qianlong dynasties of the Qing Dynasty. It was the second political center of the Qing Dynasty besides Beijing. The villa is as large as two Summer Palaces and is the largest existing royal garden in my country. The mountain resort is divided into four areas, the south is the palace area and the lake area, and the north is the mountain and plain area, among which the palace area and the lake area are the essence of the summer resort.

We entered the palace area around 8 o'clock to visit. Due to the cloudy sky, the light in the palace room was very dark, and the lights were not turned on. We asked the staff why they didn't turn on the lights, and replied that the fire in the Potala Palace was caused by the aging of the wires. , For the sake of safety, the leader does not allow the lights to be turned on. The leaders of the Summer Resort only think about themselves, not the tourists, and give up eating because of choking.

Because the light was too dark, the interest of tourists was greatly reduced. We also followed the flow of people quickly through the palace area, and then rented a boat to visit the lake area. We rented an electric boat that can seat 4 people, 90 yuan an hour, and a deposit of 300 yuan. We spent less than an hour on the boat and then went on a tour of the plains. At around 10:00 in the morning, after visiting Yongyou Temple, we were about to go out to the Little Potala Palace. Someone approached us and told us to take us out from the east gate, drive around the Mountain Resort for half a circle, and then take us to the attractions we wanted to visit. , a total of 50 yuan. The driver's attitude was very good. He took us half a circle around the Summer Resort and explained while walking. It took about 30 minutes and then sent us to the Little Potala Palace. After lunch, we walked a few minutes back to the hotel parking lot. At about 1:00 in the afternoon, we drove from the hotel, Baidu navigation, the target paddock Yuquan Resort (ctrip just booked for lunch). The traffic along the way was smooth, and we rested in the Diaoyutai service area. It happened that there was a scenic spot map of Saihanba Forest Park, 10 yuan a piece. Although it was a bit expensive, the waiter explained it in detail. We bought one without hesitation. At the same time, the waiter also recommended us to buy scenic spots and amusement packages in the scenic area, with a 20% discount. We didn't buy it, but it turned out that it was correct not to buy it. It is recommended that you must buy a map of the scenic spot, and do not buy a package ticket. Some game items may not be playable, so there is no need to waste it.

After resting in the Diaoyutai service area, we continued to set off towards the target, and arrived at the ticket office at the gate of Saihanba Forest Park at about 3:50 pm. Saihanba Forest Park is open all day. Tickets: 130 yuan for adults, free for children under 6 years old, 65 yuan for students aged 6 to 18, 65 yuan for seniors aged 60 to 69, and free for seniors over 70 years old. When buying a ticket, tell the waiter the last three digits of the license plate, and the waiter will write the last three digits of the license plate on the ticket, so that it is valid to enter the scenic spot within three days. Looking to the east, you can see the surging green waves and blue waves; People have infinite vitality; looking north, one million acres of artificial forests are connected to Ulan Butong. From Moon Lake to Qixing Lake, about 20 kilometers, we arrived at Qixing Lake, and it was almost six o'clock in the afternoon. In order to protect the natural nature of the lake, a wooden pontoon bridge has been erected on the lake here, wooden houses have been built on the pontoon bridge, and a lake viewing tower has also been built. The Qixing Lake Scenic Area is free of tickets. The area of the scenic area is large, and the playing time can be long or short. Unfortunately, when we arrived at Qixing Lake and parked the car, it started to rain. The weather in Saihanba changes too fast. It was sunny in Moon Lake just now, but it started to rain here. Due to the rain, we couldn't see the sunset, so we only spent an hour in Qixing Lake. Then drive for about 10 minutes to arrive at Weichang Yuquan Resort. We have never lived in a yurt before. Besides the buildings, there are also yurts here. In order to experience the yurt, we specially booked a yurt on Ctrip. A yurt can accommodate 3 to 4 people. But when we moved into the yurt, we regretted it. The bathroom facilities were too poor, and the sheets and quilts were not clean. We had no choice but to make do with it.
