Depart from Chengdu along the Beijing-Kunming Expressway all the way to Xichang, drive 365KM to clear the layers of clouds and mist, and come to Mianning Lingshan, a place of meditation and tranquility. People who have been to Mianning Lingshan Temple are all because of the incense there. Legend has it that the Lingshan Temple in Mianning is particularly effective, almost responding to every request. Therefore, everyone who came to Lingshan set foot on this holy land with this beautiful vision that they deeply believed in.
When I came to Lingshan, it was already late at night, because "when you come to Lingshan, if you ask for anything, you must first soak in the Lingshan water, cleanse the mundane things, and burn incense in the morning, and it will come true." Late at night, the quiet Lingshan Scenic Area is surrounded by sparse lights, and there is an excellent resting place in the quietness - "Lingqi Hotel".
Lingshan Lingqi Hotel, hidden at the foot of Lingshan Mountain, is an excellent place for Mulingshanshui. According to legend, the skin of Muling Shanshui is smooth, delicate and extremely soft. Lingshan water supports the practitioners of Lingshan Temple for generations. After taking a bath in Lingshan water, you can get rid of the mundane customs in the coolness; eat Lingshan water, and aftertaste the inner peace.
As night falls, the wild boar in the mountains is sizzling, thickly cut, fat and thin, and the meat is tender and mellow. The same vegetarian ingredients are extremely natural in this group of mountains. There has never been an industrialized production process here, let alone the birth of pesticides, and they can be directly eaten after washing with Lingshan water. With the brazier barbecue unique to the local Yi people in Xichang, the perfect collision of soybean powder and chili powder, the fusion of fire and food, the collision of noise and silence, the sound of crackling firewood under the night, is the most beautiful symphony in the heart.

Some people say that the "spirit" here comes from the scenery of Lingshan. Because of the unique scenery, the sacred mountain is unwilling to move its feet. The Lantern Buddha practiced here, and the five hundred arhats wandered here. The temple in the mountain is of course called "Lingshan Temple".
In a deep mountain forest, Lingshan is hidden there. For a long time, because of the rare integration of "Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism", Lingshan Temple has formed a year-round exuberant incense and a grand architectural scale, and has been worshiped and admired by pilgrims. "Responsiveness to requests" has become the wordless signboard here.
Lingshan has been beautiful since ancient times. Throughout the country's major Lingshan Mountains, they are always lush and beautiful. It seems that because of the spirit of the Lingshan Mountains, the spiritual energy nourishes the land in the mountains all the time, so it is said that the scenery is beautiful and the climate is pleasant. Coupled with those grotesque and well-founded myths and legends, it shows a touch of weirdness.
According to legend, Mianning Lingshan Temple was built in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty and is the largest temple in Panxi. Among themed buildings, the Daxiong Hall is magnificent, not only spacious and bright, but also solemn and solemn. In the center of the hall, the statue of Sakyamuni Buddha is enshrined, and on both sides are eighteen arhats protecting the law. In the back hall, there is a wood carving of monk Yang Xuexin, the founder of Lingshan Temple, Wuzhen.
It is said that the Wei Tuo all over the world are all standing postures, only the Wei Tuo in Lingshan Temple is sitting. Some people say that this is because Lingshan Temple has been a quiet place since ancient times, and it does not need Wei Tuo to stand solemnly. Perhaps, its spirit has something to do with this. "Sit back and watch Wei Tuo's tranquility, clean away all dust. Where is the love in the world, the spirit dwells in the night and returns to others."
Burning incense in the morning is seeking the Buddha's fate for the whole life, and it is a kind of spiritual communication between human beings and gods and Buddhas, saints, and patriarchs. It is naturally quiet and fascinated. To dye into the net, to dedicate life, to realize life. If you act like this, you will naturally have abundant blessings and wisdom, and your wishes will come true. What Chenxiang left behind was the earliest blessing of the day and the most beautiful sustenance in the whole life.
Morning fragrance to the end, back to Lingqi Hotel at noon, a cup of afternoon tea, meditating on everything in the past, laughing and crying from time to time; the fragrance of flowers and fruits. A sip of vegetarian food, a cup of camellia; what is recorded is the beautiful scenery and peaceful heart.
Cigarettes linger, paper ashes fly. No matter how the incense continues, it is because there are more expectations for people. The hustle and bustle of people, the heavy history, all turned into a touch of light smoke in the memory of Lingshan Temple.
