From Xiamen to Beijing, to participate in the "60th Anniversary of Enrollment" reunion of my alma mater, grade 5903, and stop in Jiujiang and Shijiazhuang on the way for tourism and sightseeing. The stay in Jiujiang is on the way to Beijing, and the tour in Shijiazhuang is on the way back to Xiamen. Departed from Xiamen on September 4, arrived in Jiujiang on September 5, visited Lushan Mountain on September 6, visited Poyang Lake on September 7, visited old friend W.B. on September 8-9, stayed at his home, and crossed the Yangtze River to Huangmei, Hubei.

2019.09.10 (D7), today I will bid farewell to Jiujiang and my old friend W.B., and take the G488 high-speed train to Beijing to attend the "60th Anniversary of Enrollment" reunion of my alma mater, grade 5903. In the days when we were studying, it was praised in the public that "learning mathematics, physics and chemistry is not afraid to travel all over the world". Therefore, the mathematics department of our alma mater is numbered 01, the physics department is 02, and the chemistry department is 03. The 5903 grade is the 59th grade of the chemistry department. In 1959, Enrollment is in September, and September 2019 happens to be the 60th anniversary of enrollment. During the six years of college life, the 5903 grade was divided into two classes: 1959-1963 was a basic course, the 5903 grade was divided into five classes, and I belonged to the "old fourth class"; I belong to the "high reminder class".
Regarding the back-to-school party of "Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Enrollment", planning has started a year in advance. Some people hope to hold a big one, but the "5903 Friendship Leadership Group" takes into account the age of the students and proposes a simple method: return to their alma mater for dinner at noon on September 11 , the cost is paid from the balance of previous gatherings. After this initiative was put forward, only students from Beijing responded enthusiastically, while students from other places responded very little. However, the eldest sister Chen M.Y. of our "Old Class 4" was very enthusiastic and planned to take this opportunity of the grade reunion to hold our own class reunion at the same time. Through her unremitting efforts, a total of more than ten students in the "Old Fourth Class" finally agreed to attend the appointment, including many students from other places. There were originally 40 people in my class, but 13 of them have passed away so far. After deducting those who lost contact and those who were seriously ill, Chen M.Y. was able to mobilize more than 10 people. It is not easy to say.
The G488 high-speed train crossed Jiujiang at 11:32 and stopped at Lushan Station. W.B. insisted on driving me to the station. I hoped to leave early, so I left home at 8:40, ate a bowl of beef noodles downstairs in the community, and then drove on the road. There are two railway stations in Jiujiang. General passenger cars stop at Jiujiang Station, and high-speed trains stop at Lushan Station. Arrive at Lushan Station at 9:30, because it is not yet open to swipe your ID card to get on the train, you must swipe your ID card to get a ticket, and then go through the security check to enter the station. It was still early, so I made a cup of hot tea, bought potato chips from Jiangxi and tea cakes from Jiujiang at the station, and sat down to enjoy them slowly. G488 is Nanchang West → Beijing South. I went to Beijing from Jiujiang, and the second-class seat was 591.50 yuan. The train enters the station at 11:30, and the station releases it 10 minutes earlier. Passengers line up and wait for the train according to the carriage number.

When I got on the bus, I encountered a promotional lunch, 60 yuan per serving, which felt a bit expensive, but compared to the McDonald’s set meal at Xiamen North Station (55 yuan, the burger was very small), it was actually the same, so I bought one and felt it after eating. It is more cost-effective than the McDonald's store at the train station. The speed of the train is more than 300 kilometers per hour. The first stop is Wuhan. I was eating. I didn’t notice when it arrived. I passed Zhengzhou East at 14:32, crossed the Yellow River at 14:42, stopped at Shijiazhuang at 15:58, and arrived at Beijing West at 17:08. stand.

After getting off the bus, I took a taxi to "Xiyuan" and stayed in the "Beijing Post and Telecommunications Sanatorium". Chen M.Y. had already paid the deposit in advance out of his own pocket, and arranged rooms for all the students in my class who came to Beijing from other places to attend the party. After putting down the luggage, I contacted Chen M.Y., and learned that the other students were already in place, and they were eating in the restaurant at the moment, so they rushed to meet up immediately. A total of 8 members of our "Old Class 4" stayed in the hotel. Except for one student from Beijing who lived in the outer suburbs of Beijing and also stayed with his wife, the rest were all students from other places who came to Beijing. In addition, there is a classmate from another class who is from Guangzhou and lives with us with his wife. The students who participated in the reunion of grade 5903 this time, except for a few of us, are all Beijing residents or those with families in Beijing, so they don't need to stay in hotels.
The price of the "nursing home" is 480 yuan per day. Since Chen M.Y. has already paid the deposit in advance, everyone will pay the room fee to Chen M.Y., and she will settle the settlement with the hotel. Some students stayed for one night, some stayed for two nights, and I was the only one who wanted to stay for three nights, but I could share the first two nights with another student, so I only paid 960 yuan to Chen M.Y. in total. I spent my youth and youth in Beijing, and I am able to return today, intending to use this third day to do some private affairs.

2019.09.11 (D8), the meeting place for grade 5903 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of enrollment is arranged at the "Changchun Garden" restaurant outside the west gate of the alma mater. Go to "Changchun Garden" together. Post and Telecommunications Nursing Home is not far from our alma mater. Our group set off at 9:30 and arrived at the west gate of our alma mater in only about 10 minutes' walk. This is also a scenic spot in Beijing. The school name plaque is inscribed by Chairman Mao, and tourists often come here to take pictures. A few of us arrived earlier, and there was no one in front of the door, so we could just pose for a photo. The students from Beijing also came one after another. Most of them hadn’t seen each other for a long time, and they were excited to meet each other. They shook hands and greeted each other, and chatted happily. The happy gathering in front of the west school gate lasted until after 11:00, when the participants were almost all present, a large group of old people crossed the road and went to the "Changchunyuan" restaurant opposite.

A total of more than 70 students attended the meeting, accounting for about one-third of the total number of 5903 grades. Teacher Yang Y.W., the former grade counselor, and Qiao Y.B. and Luo C.Q. of the "5903 Friendship Leadership Group" all delivered enthusiastic speeches. The dishes on the table are not high-end, but they are very rich. The staple food, dumplings, is almost untouched. I feel that it is a waste. I eat a lot and I am full.

After the meal, each class took pictures separately. I first participated in the group photo of the "old fourth class". Some students brought a group photo of the class in 1963 (2 people were missing). Moreover, 11 of the members in the photo have passed away. Time flies and life is too short!

Next, I participated in the group photo of the "High Reminder Class" after the division of majors. A total of 9 people attended the meeting. It is commendable that two of them are from the United States and Canada, but they all have families in Beijing. Teacher Yang Y.W., as the "star" of the party, participated in the group photo of each class.

Finally, the "family portrait" was taken. Because there were too many people, it was moved to the front of the school history exhibition hall, where there were steps to arrange group photos for large groups. The school history exhibition hall was added later, and we did not have this building during our school days. After the photo was taken around 14:00, the 5903 class party officially ended.

Chen M.Y hurriedly summoned the members of the original "Old Fourth Class". However, the grade party broke up and more than 70 people said goodbye to each other. The scene was lively and chaotic. Some members of the "Old Fourth Class" left in the chaos. Chen M.Y finally Only 10 students were called together, and they all went to the Weiming Lake under the Boya Tower, and held a class discussion on the island in the middle of the lake. There are stone tables and chairs on the island. Everyone can sit at will and introduce their retirement life to each other. Several of the classmates are good at calligraphy and painting, and brought their own works. Chen M.Y also specially brought Tianjin snacks from his hometown to share with you. Chen K.Z., who can no longer go out, also made video calls with everyone. Wei Z.S. also prepared a long narrative poem in advance, describing our six years of college life, and entrusted me to read it for him on the spot. The pleasant gathering lasted for more than two hours, and then everyone took pictures and said goodbye to each other. I am afraid that such gatherings will be difficult to hold in the future. Chen M.Y said that the future will mainly be to organize online gatherings.

Back at the hotel at 17:00, 8 people left in the morning, only 5 people left after returning, and three students had already checked out in the morning. Chen M.Y asked if he wanted to arrange dinner, and everyone said that he was not hungry, so the dinner would be waived. The remaining 5 people, except me, only plan to stay one more night, go to the nearby Yuanmingyuan tomorrow morning, check out and evacuate at noon. I plan to visit an elderly aunt tomorrow. It is a rare "opportunity" to come to Beijing. I am afraid that "the time will never come" in the future. After the visit, I will have to go back to the hotel for one night.

2019.09.12 (D9), the breakfast in Beijing Post and Telecommunications Nursing Home is very rich. The price of 480/day can only be regarded as a very ordinary hotel in Beijing, but it is not ordinary to provide such a rich breakfast. My son and grandson came to Beijing in 2017 , Live in Yayue Hotel Beijing Xizhimen, it is a chain hotel, 500 yuan / day for a family room (one big bed, one small bed) does not even provide breakfast at all.
The aunt I am going to visit today has no children, and my uncle has also passed away. She is currently living alone in a nursing home. I don’t know where it is, so I have to go with my uncle, aunt and younger brother X.D. who live in Beijing. After breakfast, I took a bus at the intersection of Post and Telecommunications Nursing Home, one stop to "Yuanmingyuan", then transferred to Metro Line 4 to "Xinjiekou", and met X.D. at the exit, and he took me to take the bus to the vicinity of the Olympic Sports Park, where There is a nursing home under the jurisdiction of Beijing Civil Affairs Bureau, also known as "Beijing Geriatric Hospital". My aunt is living here for the elderly. She lives alone in a room with a full-time escort. The conditions are considered good, but the old man is nearly a hundred years old and is not in a good state of mind at the moment.

Leaving the nursing home after 12:00, my uncle and aunt invited me to have lunch at the nearby "Meizhou Dongpo Restaurant". My aunt was very good at ordering, and the dishes were all exquisite, including the restaurant's signature dish "Jintang Reservoir Fish Head with Moyu Fried Sticks" ", this dish is not only delicious, but also has a special serving ceremony, full of blessings, which makes my aunt very happy.

After the meal, the two elders took a taxi and left. X.D. and I returned to Xinjiekou together. This place used to be my home when my parents were still alive. In the courtyard, there is also one of my "children" Y.C., who traveled to Xinjiang with me a few years ago, and I also stopped by his house by the way. X.D. also plans to arrange dinner, but I have already eaten too much breakfast, and I have a big meal at noon. Say goodbye to X.D. and Y.C. and go straight back to the post and telecommunications nursing home. The lively grade and class reunions have all come to an end, and the students have all evacuated, leaving me alone here.

2019.09.13 (D10), according to the scheduled plan, I am going to Shijiazhuang today. I hurried into the hotel restaurant as soon as it opened at 7:00 in the morning. I also try to eat as much breakfast as possible, because there is no guarantee when I can have lunch again. Check out after dinner, take the bus stop at the intersection of the hotel to "Xiyuan", get off at the subway station entrance, take subway line 4 to "National Library" and transfer to line 9 to "Beijing West Railway Station", just after 9:00 After rushing to the ticket hall. There are not many people queuing in front of the ticket window, but the second-class high-speed train ticket (128.5 yuan) to Shijiazhuang is only the train that departs at 12:50 at the earliest, but if you buy the first-class ticket (206.5 yuan), you can buy it at 10:52 If you spend an extra 78 yuan, you can leave 2 hours earlier. Today's time is precious, so I decided to buy a first-class train.
Waiting at the entrance of the special crowd (over 70 years old), because it is the departure, the ticket is checked half an hour in advance. There are not many passengers in the first-class car, and most of the seats are empty. The flight attendant will check the ticket shortly after the journey and give each person a ticket. Including snacks, I have taken the first-class seat of ordinary trains many times, and I have never had such treatment. I think the service of high-speed trains is better.

Arrived at Shijiazhuang at 12:04, got off the bus and dragged the trolley bag to the station "East Square", where we were going to take the No. 215 bus. I am going to Zhao County to visit "Zhaozhou Bridge" at the moment. Based on the previous Baidu search, I plan to take the No. 215 to "Yehe" first, and then transfer to the "Nanjiao-Zhao County" special line bus to "Zhao County".

The trolley bag is a burden, so it must be stored first. Shijiazhuang Station is huge, and there are "luggage storage" signposts everywhere. However, I have never seen a luggage storage place when I walked all the way to the East Square. I had no choice but to consult a small shop. The store owner said that he can store them here, and each item costs 10 yuan. During the conversation, I learned that I was going to Zhaozhou Bridge. The boss kindly reminded that No. 215 does not go to Zhao County, and I should transfer at "Nanjiao". However, I still believed in my "Baidu" search and thought it would be more convenient to transfer at "Yehe". .
There were a lot of passengers on bus 215, and they could only stand when they got on the bus. When the bus arrived at "Nanjiao", most people got off, and I also had a seat, so I browsed through the prepared strategy of Zhao County by the way. Seeing this, a young man asked me if I was going to Zhao County, and reminded me that I should get off at "Nanjiao", which is the departure station of the "Nanjiao-Zhaoxian" special line. I said I planned to transfer at Yehe, but he said that the "Nanjiao-Zhao County" special line has no fixed stations throughout the whole journey. It may be inconvenient to know where to stop the car. So, I decided to follow this young man to get out of the car, and he very readily agreed to help me stop the car. He also told me that in fact, the 215 bus and the "Nanjiao-Zhaoxian" special line have a long way to merge, and you can stop the bus anywhere, but it is not convenient for outsiders. During the chat, I learned that he has taken the college entrance examination for special students this year, and his pipa performance has been recognized by several universities, including Xiamen University, but the cultural score is not up to the standard. However, according to the regulations, the specialty grades can be kept for one year, and he is preparing to repeat the exam at this moment, striving to pass the cultural score of the college entrance examination next year. The young man found a place with a narrow road to stop the car for me. Soon after, the "Nanjiao-Zhaoxian" special line car came. Before we parted, I wished him that he could come to Xiamen University next year.
Get on the bus and tell the driver to go to Zhaozhou Bridge, he replied that you should get off at "Shita", 9 yuan. I didn't have any change, so I gave 10 yuan and said that I don't need to look for it. The driver was very happy and said that he had change. He handed me one yuan and asked me to find a seat. He would call me to get off at the station. At 13:56, the bus arrived at "Shita", and the driver pointed me to the opposite side of the road to wait for the "Zhao County No. 2" bus. Next to the bus station is "Xuejia Shaobing", also known as "Shita Shaobing". It is said that it has a history of more than 100 years and is a famous snack in Zhao County. The "Stone Pagoda" stands at the crossroads not far away. It is actually a "Stone Scripture Building". It was built in the fifth year of Jingyou in the Northern Song Dynasty (1038 A.D.). But Jingzhu survives alone. This granite scripture building is engraved with Dharani scriptures, so it is called "Dharani Sutra Building". , the most beautiful stone scripture building, was listed by the State Council in 1961 as the first batch of key cultural relics protection units in the country. The local people call it "Stone Pagoda" because of its tower-like appearance.

"Zhao County 2 Road" car comes, get on the car and insert a coin, and drive for about 4 minutes to reach the terminal "Zhaozhou Bridge". You can enter the scenic spot for free with your old age certificate. Zhaozhou Bridge is erected on the Ming River in the south of Zhao County. It was named after Zhao County was called Zhaozhou in ancient times. It was built by Li Chun, a stonemason in the Sui Dynasty, more than 1,400 years ago. Locals in Zhao County call this bridge the Big Stone Bridge, because there is a Yongtong Bridge outside the west gate of the city, commonly known as the Little Stone Bridge. However, since the Song Dynasty, the official name of Zhaozhou Bridge has been "Anji Bridge", and the name of "Anji" Bridge was given by Emperor Zhezong of the Northern Song Dynasty. Zhaozhou Bridge is also a world-renowned bridge, where the American Society of Civil Engineers honored the bronze plaque of "International Civil Engineering Historic Site". In 1961, the State Council listed "Anji Bridge (Dashi Bridge)" as the first batch of key cultural relics protection units in the country. In 2010, Zhaozhou Bridge Scenic Spot was rated as a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Zhaozhou Bridge is more than 50 meters long and 9 meters wide. It is entirely built of hard blue-gray sandstone. The bridge has no piers, only an arched bridge hole, and spans 37 meters across the river. There are two arched small bridge holes on the left and right sides of the top of the bridge hole. Usually, the river water only flows through the bridge hole. During flood periods, the four small holes can also pass through the water. This design can reduce the impact of running water on the bridge body. It can also save bridge building stones. The bridge hole consists of 28 arch coupons, each of which is independent of each other. If one arch coupon is damaged, it only needs to replace the damaged part without adjusting the entire bridge arch.

The ancient bridge has obviously undergone renovations, however, as far as I can see, the renovations are a bit overdone, the bridge deck is new, and the guardrails are also new, making it hard to feel that this is an ancient bridge with a history of more than 1,400 years. I have never met a tourist like me all the way from Shijiazhuang Railway Station. I thought the scenic spot would be deserted, but unexpectedly, there are people everywhere, and the parking lot is full of cars. They are all self-driving or tourist groups.

At 15:20, walk out of the Zhaozhou Bridge Scenic Area, take the "Zhao County No. 2 Road" again, pass the stone tower, get off at "Dongmen Elementary School", and walk a short distance to the "Berlin Temple". It was originally a thousand-year-old temple, which was first built in the Jian'an period at the end of the Han Dynasty, but it has been abandoned in the past hundred years. In the end, there is only an ancient pagoda from the Yuan Dynasty, several ruined steles and more than 20 ancient cypresses from the Tang Dynasty. In 1988, the Buddhist Association of Hebei Province began to preside over the restoration of the Berlin Temple. Until 2003, the Wanfo Building was completed and the Buddha statue was consecrated. It covers an area of about 80 mu. Today's Berlin Zen Temple is a formal religious activity place, open to the public free of charge. I entered the temple at 15:40, walked out at 16:08, and walked around the temple. I was deeply impressed by the grandeur of the temple buildings, especially the "Wanfo Building", although it is not a historic site, it is extremely spectacular.

The "Nanjiao-Zhaoxian" special line car passed by the gate of the Berlin Temple, and after exiting the temple, he waved to get on the car, but the driver did not charge for it, and was asked to transfer to another car in a parking lot shortly after driving, before boarding the car The fee is 13 yuan/person, all calculated according to "South Jiao". After driving on the road again for a while, I found that there was already a bus No. 215 along the road, so I was smart and asked to get off at a bus stop on the side of the road. Unexpectedly, it was self-defeating, and No. 215 did not stop at this station. I had no choice but to take a taxi, which cost 19 yuan, but it quickly sent me to the east square of Shijiazhuang Station. Today is a tight schedule, so it doesn't matter how much the transportation costs.
Retrieve the trolley bag from the storage, take the No. 148 bus on the spot, drive for about 1.5 hours and get off at the "Chest Hospital", and prepare to transfer to the No. 164 bus to Zhengding, where I have already booked a hotel. Zhao County and Zhengding are both counties under the jurisdiction of Shijiazhuang City. Zhao County is located on the south side of Shijiazhuang City, and Zhengding is on the north side. Therefore, today I am going to cross the entire Shijiazhuang City from south to north. Perhaps because of the route taken by the 148th Road, I don't have a good impression of Shijiazhuang's city appearance. I waited for a long time at the "chest hospital" before I saw the No. 164 bus coming, but the bus was very empty and there were seats immediately. After crossing the Hutuo River and entering Zhengding County, the landscape immediately changed dramatically. The streets are full of bright lights, which is much more beautiful than the main city of Shijiazhuang.

It takes a total of 15 stops to take bus No. 164. Get off at "Changshan Park" in Zhengding County, and then walk back for less than 100 meters. It is the "Hi You Hotel (Zhengding Xinglong Temple Branch)" booked online. Show your ID card to check in, double bed room, 166 yuan/night, this is the price booked online, however, the current listing price has soared to 331 yuan/night, this may be because today is the Mid-Autumn Festival, there will be a lantern festival at night. The hotel room is not big, but it is quite tidy, and I feel quite satisfied.

Then I went out to eat, which is a combination of lunch and dinner. There are many restaurants nearby, but I was dazzled by the selection. After wandering around for a few times, I finally chose the "Hao's Spare Ribs" at the intersection of (Zhaoyannan Street/Zhongshan Road) to taste the local specialties.

At 20:35, leave "Hao's Pork Ribs" and walk southward along Zhaoyannan Street. After walking not far, you will find Kaiyuan Temple. Kaiyuan Temple is the earliest extant temple in "Zhengding" that can be traced back to its origin. There is an ancient pagoda inside, which is white and beautiful under the light. There is also a huge stone turtle in the dark of the courtyard, but its origin is unclear.

Walk out of Kaiyuan Temple at 20:58 and continue southward along Zhaoyannan Street, passing by the archaeological excavation site at the Kaiyuan Temple South Square site. You can see the excavation status inside through the large glass wall. 21:01 Walking past a beautiful cross-street archway, the plaque "Zhengding Historical and Cultural Street" is a true portrayal of "Zhaoyannan Street" at the foot. Many historical sites in Zhengding County are located near this street, and the lantern festival tonight is also along this street. Street layout.

Continuing to the south, there is a tall city gate in front of it, and a plaque of "broad and brilliant" hangs high on the gate tower. The LED lights on the glass floor of the city gate are changing rapidly. The children happily chase the shadows under their feet. They walk through the gate and then turn around to look back. The plaque of "Yanghe Building" hangs high on the gate tower. Obviously, this building should be called "Yanghe Building". Building", the south side is its front.

Looking south from Yanghe Tower, there are two pagodas illuminated by landscape lights in front of you. The one on the left is closer. It is the Chengling Pagoda of Linji Temple, and there is a "Hua Pagoda" of Guanghui Temple in the distance. Linji Temple was not allowed to enter, so we only took photos outside the gate. The Chengling Pagoda looked golden under the light.

Continue forward, cross a large grassland, and walk to the snack street outside the wall of Guanghui Temple at 21:25. Huata is close at hand, and the partition wall faces the snack street. The gate of Guanghui Temple is also open, so you can drive straight in. The appearance of the Huata is very strange, and there are various animals and figures on the tower. I have seen many pagodas, but I have never seen this kind of weird pagoda. I can't see the details clearly under the light. Anyway, I will come again tomorrow, and I will stay soon tonight.

Further forward is the South Gate Tower (Changle Gate) of Zhengding Ancient City Wall, which is separated from Guanghui Temple by a vast square, which also includes a large parking area. At 21:38, we walked to the south gate, which is the southernmost end of Zhao Yannan Street and the busiest place tonight. The square is full of people, and the parking lot is full of cars. However, the license plates of the cars are basically Ji A, and the tourists should be locals of Shijiazhuang.

Walking through the city gate, there is an urn city outside, that is, a semi-circular city wall was built outside the main city gate. Its two ends are connected with the two sides of the main city gate, forming an independent small city. Its four walls are steep, and its area is generally small, like an urn, so it is called "urn city", which is an ancient city defense facility. However, the urn city at the South Gate of Zhengding is very open, it feels like a big square. Looking back from the inside of the urn, what you can see is the front of the South City Gate (Changle Gate). On both sides of the gate tower, there are eight big characters "Ancient City with Ancient Charm, Free and Zhengding".

There is a gate on the east side of the Wengcheng. Walking out of this gate, there is a third city wall outside. It is slightly shorter than the Wengcheng, and it is close to the city wall of the Wengcheng. Looking south from the city wall, there is a small river at the foot, probably a moat, and the bustling night market with lights on the other side. It was already after 22 o'clock, and it was about 2 kilometers from the "Hi You Hotel" to here, and I had to walk another 2 kilometers to return, so I didn't go out of the city again, and set off on my way home. After returning to the hotel to take a shower and sleep, it was already after midnight, and I was on my way all day today, but all the wishes I had originally planned were finally fulfilled one by one.

2019.09.14 (D11), compared with yesterday, today should be regarded as relatively relaxed, and only tours to Zhengding Ancient City are arranged throughout the day. At 8:30, I had breakfast at "Fuqian Street" next to the hotel. I first chose a shop and ate a bowl of wontons and 10 siu mai. I felt it was not enough, so I went to another shop to eat a vegetarian pie and a bowl of soy milk. Zhengding's siu mai is a bit strange. There is no glutinous rice in the filling, but meat filling with soup, which looks like a soup dumpling.
Back to the hotel after dinner, take a backpack and a tripod (for selfies) and set off again. Today's tour route is: Hi Inn→Longxing Temple→Tianning Temple→Kaiyuan Temple→Yanghe Tower→Linji Temple→Guanghui Temple→Zhengding South Gate→Hi Inn, among which (Hi Inn→Long Xing Temple) and (Zhengding South City Gate→Hi You Hotel) are going to take the bus, and the rest of the trip (Longxing Temple→......→Zhengding South City Gate) is a total of 2.6 kilometers. It feels more convenient to walk on foot.

Take bus No. 135 at the entrance of Hi Inn (Changshan Park Station), put in one yuan and get off at "Big Buddha Temple", and arrive at Longxing Temple (Big Buddha Temple) scenic spot at 10:03. At present, it is regarded as a cultural relic protection unit, not a place for religious activities. Tickets are 50 yuan per person, and I can enter for free with my ID card (over 70 years old).

Longxing Temple is an earlier, larger-scale and relatively well-preserved Buddhist temple in China. It was originally the Longteng Garden of Yan Murongxi during the Sixteen Kingdoms period. It was rebuilt in the sixth year of Kaihuang (586) by Emperor Wen of Sui Dynasty It became a temple, originally named Longzang Temple. In the fourth year of Kaibao in the early Song Dynasty (971), Song Taizu Zhao Kuangyin ordered to expand it and renamed it Longxing Temple. During the Kangxi and Qianlong years of the Qing Dynasty, there were two additions, and the temple was renamed Longxing Temple. The local people in Zhengding call it the "Great Buddha Temple", because there is a huge bronze Bodhisattva in the temple. In 1961, the State Council announced Longxing Temple as the first batch of key cultural relics protection units in the country.
There is no mountain gate in Longxing Temple, and the Tianwang Hall is the street gate of the temple. This hall has a single eaves resting on the mountain, and there are four statues of Tianwang inside. The text description shows that it was copied by local old artists in recent years, and the original was destroyed in the Cultural Revolution.

Walking through the Hall of Heavenly Kings, you will see large photos, introducing the five most famous ancient buildings in Zhengding: Zhengding South Gate, Linji Temple-Chengling Pagoda, Guanghui Temple-Hua Pagoda, Kaiyuan Temple, Tianning Temple-Lingxiao Pagoda, I will visit these places today. Going forward is a large area of foundation, with no ground buildings. The written introduction is called the site of "Liujue Liushi Hall".

10:12 Came to the "Mani Hall". The text introduction shows that it is the most valuable of the existing ancient buildings in Longxing Temple. It was built in the fourth year of Huangyou in the Northern Song Dynasty (1052). This hall has a green glazed tile double-eaved roof. , and its beam-lifting wooden structure is in line with that described in the Song "Zao Fa Shi". The main hall is in the shape of a plane cross, with a protruding Xieshan-top building in the middle of each of the four sides, which was called "Gutou House" in the Song Dynasty. A stone incense burner in front of the main hall is also a relic of the Song Dynasty.

From 1977 to 1980, the State Council allocated funds for the restorative reconstruction of the Mani Hall. A security guard of the main hall introduced to me: the reconstruction is to make use of the original old things to repair them as much as possible. Therefore, the rebuilt columns and beams all have obvious traces of old things. The Buddha statues in the hall are also clay sculptures of the Song and Ming dynasties, and they have been gilded again in recent years. Facing the south in the center of the Buddhist altar are clay sculptures of Sakyamuni, Kasyapa and Ananda, two disciples of the Song Dynasty. On both sides are clay sculptures of Manjusri and Puxian Bodhisattvas of the Ming Dynasty, decorated with gemstones and flying ribbons.

The colorful hanging mountains and the sitting statue of Guanyin on the back of the main hall (facing north) are also relics of the Song Dynasty. The five-color hanging mountain is 15.7 meters long and 7.5 meters high. It is the Taoist place where Guanyin Bodhisattva manifests and preaches in Putuo Luojia Mountain. Guanyin Bodhisattva sits in the middle of the hanging mountain, wearing a crown on his head, wearing a streamer of wreaths on his shoulders, stepping on a lotus with one foot, standing on the other with his hands on his knees, with an elegant and dignified posture. He was once hailed as the "Oriental God of Beauty" by Mr. Lu Xun. This statue is facing north and facing south, facing away from the main hall, so it is also called "Avalokitesvara sitting upside down".

The walls of the hall are full of murals with the theme of Buddhist stories. Except for the two in the center which are supplementary paintings of the Qing Dynasty, the others are relics of the Ming Dynasty. It is said that the murals are artistically processed with powder and gold, so the colors are bright and the layers are clear. It is the best work among the existing murals of temples in the Ming Dynasty. However, because of the age, most of the pictures have been mottled, how to preserve the ancient murals is also a difficult problem in the future.

Walk out of the "Mani Hall" and continue forward, passing through the "Miaozhuangyanyu", "Tongjin Baoraft", and "Jietan", and walk to the "Zhuanlunzang" pavilion at 10:38. Zhuanlunzang Pavilion is a wooden attic with a unique shape. It was first built in the Northern Song Dynasty, and a plaque of "Zhuanlunzang" hangs high on the roof. The wooden runner in the cabinet is a large bookshelf (sutra cabinet) that can rotate, with a diameter of 7 meters. It is divided into three parts: the seat, the body, and the roof. The weight is borne by the pin hidden at the bottom. A security guard told me that scriptures are hidden in the wheel, and the huge wooden wheel can still be easily turned today.

Finally came to "Dabei Pavilion", which is the main building of Longxing Temple. It was built in the fourth year of Kaibao in the Northern Song Dynasty (971). It was repaired in Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, but later the pavilion was destroyed. The people's government was rebuilt from 1997 to 1999 with reference to the "Zao Fa Shi" of the Song Dynasty. The investment of the project is 32.85 million, and the shared wood is more than 6,800 cubic meters. It is the largest single cultural relic restoration project in my country after the Potala Palace in Tibet. Inside the Great Compassion Pavilion stands a 19.2-meter-tall bronze Buddha statue, which is the tallest and oldest bronze statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva in the world. This statue was built under the order of Song Taizu Zhao Kuangyin. It has 42 arms all over its body, and each arm holds the sun and moon, Jingping, pagoda, King Kong, sword and other magic tools.

The stone Xumizuo at the foot of the Buddha is also the original of the Northern Song Dynasty. It is 2.2 meters high. It uses shallow relief, high relief, round carving, and openwork techniques to carve images of Hercules, flying Apsaras, flowers and birds, and Jiyue. It is a rare stone carving art treasure of the Song Dynasty. There is an ancient locust tree behind the pavilion, which is more than 1300 years old and is called "Shouhuai".

Walk out of Longxing Temple at 11:43, and then go west along Zhongshan East Road to Tianning Temple. The roadside shops are all antique, and there are many seats on the sidewalk, which makes people feel that Zhengding Town is very individual and warm. "Tianning Temple" is about 600 meters away from Longxing Temple. It is now a heritage park, and there is only one ancient pagoda inside. Accident.

Tianning Temple is one of the eight ancient temples in Zhengding. It was first built in Tang Dynasty and was originally named Yongtai Temple. There are two stone lions outside the main gate of the temple, with cute expressions. According to experts' textual research, they are in the shape of stone lions in the Yuan Dynasty.

The scale of Tianning Temple in its heyday was considerable, but by the early years of the Republic of China, it was the only pagoda left. Tianning Temple Pagoda is now called "Lingxiao Pagoda", but because most of it is a wooden structure, it is also commonly known as "Wooden Pagoda" locally. It is 41 meters high and is the tallest of the four existing pagodas in Zhengding. The origin of Tianning Temple Pagoda was first traced to the Huiguang Pagoda built in the Tang Dynasty, and many later repairs were made. The existing pagodas mainly present the architectural style of the Song and Jin Dynasties, with octagonal, nine-level, and pavilion-like shapes with dense eaves. The 1st to 4th floors of the pagoda are all made of bricks, which were rebuilt on the remnants of the Tang Pagoda in the Song Dynasty. The 5th to 9th floors are wooden structures, which were rebuilt in the Jin Dynasty. The Lingxiao Pagoda of Tianning Temple underwent restorative reconstruction in 1983, and was selected as the third batch of national key cultural relics protection units in 1988.

There is also a blue stone tablet in the courtyard that reads "The place where Bishop Wen Zhihe and his companions were martyred": On October 9, 1937, Zhengding fell, and the Japanese invaders burned, killed, raped and looted, and more than ten thousand people hid in the Catholic Bishop's Palace and Cathedral in Zhengding Diocese take refuge. In order to protect Chinese women and children from being insulted by the Japanese army, Bishop Wen Zhihe and his eight companions were kidnapped by the Japanese army. They would rather die than surrender. They were massacred and burned under the Lingxiao Tower of Tianning Temple that night. The nine international friends who died for righteousness will be blessed by God and will be remembered by the world forever.

Walk out of Tianning Temple at 12:30, continue westward along Zhongshan Road for about 300 meters, and you will find the intersection (Zhongshan Road/Yanzhao South Street) where you had dinner yesterday. Turn left into Yanzhao South Street and go south again, which is the road you walked last night. However, the perception of day and night is very different, especially for ancient buildings and historical sites, you can read texts during the day Explain and understand their historical background.

About 180 meters south from the intersection is Kaiyuan Temple. There are no monks at present. It belongs to the heritage park. The stone tablet at the entrance shows that it is also a national key cultural relics protection unit. The earliest predecessor of Kaiyuan Temple was the "Jingguan Temple" built by the Eastern Wei Dynasty during the Southern and Northern Dynasties. Although Kaiyuan Temple has undergone renovations in the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, its Tang Dynasty architectural style has always been continued. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, the temple was abandoned, and only a wooden bell tower and a square brick pagoda survived to this day. Everyone was free to enter the temple last night, but today it is necessary to buy a ticket during the day, 10 yuan per person. I showed my old age card to enter for free.

The architectural layout of Kaiyuan Temple is very unique. It is not the common central axis symmetry of temples, but the bell tower and towers are juxtaposed on the east and west sides of the north-south central axis. Centered transition state. This relative layout of towers and buildings is also an isolated example among the existing Buddhist temples in my country.

The Kaiyuan Temple Pagoda also began in the Tang Dynasty, and its official name is "Xumi Pagoda", but the locals call it "Brick Pagoda". The pagoda is square in plane, with nine levels of dense eaves, the base is made of stone, and the above is all brick. At the four corners of the stone base, there are two relief sculptures of wrestlers, full of muscles and lifelike, as if trying to support the weight of the tower. The whole pagoda is elegant and straight, with a simple and elegant shape, which is somewhat similar to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda in Tang Dynasty in Xi'an.

However, the most valuable ancient building in Kaiyuan Temple is not the Sumeru Pagoda, but the bell tower. There is a plaque in the temple indicating that the real national key cultural relics protection unit is the "Kaiyuan Temple Bell Tower", not the entire Kaiyuan Temple. Afterwards, I also consulted the list of the third batch of national key cultural relics protection units announced in 1988, and this is indeed the case. The bell tower of Kaiyuan Temple is a two-storey pavilion of brick and wood structure, with double eaves resting on the top of the mountain, and a square plane. There is no exact record when it was built, but from the analysis of the building structure, materials, and manufacturing techniques, it should be a relic of the late Tang Dynasty. There are repairs. This bell tower is an extremely rare Tang Dynasty wooden building in China. There is a copper bell hanging on the upper floor, which is also a relic of the Tang Dynasty. In 1990, the bell tower of Kaiyuan Temple was dropped and restoratively rebuilt.

However, what shocked me the most in Kaiyuan Temple was the huge stone turtle. Stone turtles carrying steles are very common, but I have never seen such a big stone turtle. Last night, the area around the stone tortoise was dark, and I didn't see its origin. Today, I found a detailed text introduction. It turns out that this kind of stele-carrying stone tortoise has a proper name, which is called "赑屃[bìxì]". It is rumored that the dragon has nine sons, the bottom is long, it looks like a turtle, it has teeth, it is strong, and it is easy to bear weight, so it often appears under the stele. The Bixi in Kaiyuan Temple was unearthed in Fuqian Street in Zhengding City in June 2000, and moved to Kaiyuan Temple for display in August. According to experts' research, it is the pedestal of the huge monument of meritorious service erected by An Chongrong, an envoy of the Chengde Army during the Five Dynasties. It is 8.4 meters long, 3.2 meters wide, 2.6 meters high, and weighs 107 tons. It is the first of its kind in the country. Shortly after An Chongrong erected a monument for himself, he was condemned for treason, and the monument was also smashed and buried. There are also several fragments of the huge stele displayed next to the huge Bixi. After more than 1,200 years, the inscriptions on the stele are still as new, which also proves that the stele was smashed and buried shortly after it was carved.

At 13:50, walk out of Kaiyuan Temple and have lunch across the road: buckwheat noodles, mutton with green onions, and cold beer, totaling 49 yuan. Xiamen's fried mutton with green onion is made of frozen mutton slices, which tastes bland. Here, fresh mutton slices are used. The mutton has a strong flavor and is very delicious. If lunch is late and full, dinner can be skipped.

After dinner, continue south along Yanzhao South Street, walk past the "Zhengding Historical and Cultural Street" archway at 14:36, and walk through "Yanghe Tower" again at 14:39. Yanghe Tower was built at the end of the Jin Dynasty and the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty. It is known as the cradle of Yuan Opera, because Zhengding’s regional economy was prosperous in the early Yuan Dynasty, and the surrounding area of Yanghe Tower was the most prosperous area in Zhengding City. Drinking wine, discussing works, incorporating folk slang into poems, and then integrating his own creations with popular folk dramas, folk dramas gradually became literati and professional, and finally created "Yuanqu". However, the ancient Yanghe Building no longer exists today, and the building in front of us was rebuilt in 2017 using the site of the old Yanghe Building.

Walk through Yanghe Tower, then walk east along Linji Road for about 100 meters, and arrive at Linji Temple at 14:46. Linji Temple is now an official place for religious activities. There are monks in it, and they can enter freely without admission tickets. The most famous thing in the temple is the "Chengling Pagoda", which was confirmed in 2001 as the fourth batch of national key cultural relics protection units. Chengling Pagoda, commonly known as "Green Pagoda", is more than 30 meters high. It was first built in the eighth year of Xiantong in Tang Dynasty (867) and rebuilt in the reign of Jin Dading. This pagoda contains the mantle of Xuanyi, the founder of the Linji Sect of Buddhism, so it is also called the Mantle Pagoda. Linji Sect is an important sect of Chinese Buddhism with many believers. It was introduced to Japan during the Song Dynasty. In recent years, Japanese monks often come to worship under the pagoda. This pagoda is a brick pagoda with dense eaves imitating wood, octagonal, nine levels, solid, and the body of the pagoda is inlaid with three lying steles from Tang, Ming and Qing Dynasties.

15:22 Walking out of Linji Temple, there is a large green grass outside, which is quite rare in northern cities. At the end of the big grass stands a beautiful pagoda, which is the "Hua Pagoda" of Guanghui Temple. 15:37 Walk into Guanghui Temple, which is also a heritage park, open to visitors for free. "Guanghui Temple" is also one of the eight ancient temples in Zhengding. It was built in the first year of Tang Zhenyuan (785-804 A.D.), more than 1,200 years ago. During the prosperous period of the temple, there were Tianwang Hall, Front Hall, Huata, Dizang Hall and other buildings in sequence from south to north. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, the temple was destroyed, and only the "Hua Pagoda" remained.

"Hua Pagoda of Guanghui Temple" is also known as "Duo Bao Pagoda" because Sakyamuni and Duo Bao Buddha are enshrined in it. However, in terms of shape, it belongs to "Flower Pagoda". The interior is ornately decorated, and it looks like a huge bouquet from a distance, so it is named Hua (Hua) Tower. This type of pagoda mainly appeared in the Song, Liao, and Jin Dynasties, and basically disappeared after the Yuan Dynasty. The "Hua Pagoda of Guanghui Temple" in Zhengding County is among the more than a dozen such ancient pagodas in China, with the most peculiar shape and the most decorated. The gorgeous one was hailed as "the only example in China" by the master architect Liang Sicheng.

The Huata of Guanghui Temple is composed of a main tower and four small towers. It stands on an octagonal platform. The main tower has four floors. Enter the tower, and then climb up the stairs in the tower to the octagonal platform at the top of the second floor for viewing. The plane of the fourth floor of the tower is slightly circular, and its appearance is like a cone. Group sculptures. There is no reliable documentation on the construction date of this pagoda. However, when the pagoda was being repaired from 1995 to 1999, the inscription "Taiping Xingguo Two Years" was found. From this, it can be inferred that the construction date of this pagoda should be no later than the early Northern Song Dynasty. Song Taizong period. In 1961, "Hua Pagoda of Zhengding Guanghui Temple" was announced as the first batch of key cultural relics protection units in the country.

Opposite Guanghui Temple is the south gate of Zhengding Ancient City, separated by a vast parking lot and a large lawn with a beautiful flower basket in the center of the lawn. The parking lot is not only free, but also equipped with a lot of security guards. I saw a "Guanguan 1" bus driving on the road, and asked a security guard whether "Guanguan 1" stopped at a normal bus station. After getting an affirmative answer He asked again, "Why do you want to take the sightseeing route? It costs money?". I couldn't understand his question. He explained that there are sightseeing battery cars between various scenic spots in the ancient city, which can be used for free. .

At 15:51, I came to the south gate of the ancient city again, where there are texts introducing the history and development of the ancient city in recent years. Zhengding has a long history. In 221 BC, the State of Qin established Donghuan County here. Liu Bang, Emperor Gaozu of the Han Dynasty, put down the rebellion here and renamed Donghuan Zhending, which means "true stability". In the first year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty, because of avoiding the taboo of the emperor's name "Yinzhen", "Zhending" was renamed "Zhengding". The ancient city of Zhengding is regulated at the "fu" level. Today's city wall is a relic of the Ming Dynasty. It has a circumference of 24 Li and has four gates. The east gate is "Yingxu", the west gate is "Zhenyuan", the south gate is "Changle", and the north gate is "Yong'an". Each gate originally had three gates: Moon City, Urn City and Inner City, forming a circuitous defense system that is easy to defend but difficult to attack. Today most of the city walls are gone, but the ruins of the four city gates are still there. The "Changle Gate" in the south city is the tall tower in front of you. It has basically been rebuilt as it was. There are also pictures of the west gate and north gate, which are now protected as ruins. The east gate of the ancient city was originally occupied by the army, but the preliminary procedures for handing over the place have been completed, and it will be restored to its original appearance soon. The article also introduces that General Secretary Xi Jinping once served in Zhengding from 1982 to 1985, and then visited Zhengding six times, establishing the development idea of "semi-suburb type" and "tourism-prospering county" for Zhengding. In August 2013, he personally visited Zhengding Give important instructions on the protection work of Zhengding ancient city.

There are "horse paths" built on both sides of Changle Gate, and people climb up the city along the path at 16:05. During the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, people are everywhere on the city walls. There is a big drum at the top of the city, and many children are beating wildly, making an ear-shattering noise. I heard a rumbling sound when I was just below the city, like thunder, but I don't know what it is? I don't know where it came from? Only now did I realize that it was a group of "little kids" who beat the drums so loudly.

Standing at the top of the city and looking north, all four ancient pagodas in Zhengding City come into view: the nearest one is the "Hua Pagoda" of Guanghui Temple; The "Chengling Pagoda" of Linji Temple; the "Lingxiao Pagoda" of Tianning Temple that seems to be shorter (in fact, it is farther away, but it is actually the tallest among the four pagodas of Zhengding); the far left of Hua Pagoda of Guanghui Temple There is also a tower, which is the "Xumi Pagoda" of Kaiyuan Temple. A city tower can be seen between "Hua Tower" and "Xumi Tower", which is "Yanghe Tower". Standing at the top of the city and looking down, the big flower basket in the middle of the grass is also very beautiful.

At 16:17, walk down the city wall, take Guanguan No. 1 bus at the "Zhengding South Gate" bus stop near the big flower basket, drive for 7 stops, get off at "Changshan Park", and return directly to Hi Inn Hotel. The bus on Sightseeing Road 1 is 3 yuan, and its interior decoration is also different from that of ordinary buses. There are no tall buildings in the ancient city, and the street scenes along the way are also very beautiful.

Return to the hotel around 16:30, take a shower after entering the room, and then take a nap. I didn't plan to have dinner at first, but I planned to go for a walk in the street again at night. Unexpectedly, I was too lazy to get up after lying down. I sat on the bed and checked the camera to see the "war results" of today's shooting, and then fell asleep early.

2019.09.15 (D12), return to Xiamen today, take flight NS3283 of Hebei Airlines, scheduled to take off from "Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport" at 11:10, 40% off ticket 740 yuan. Last night, I consulted with the girl at the main station. She said that the hotel is located in the center of the county, and it is very convenient to take a taxi. It takes more than half an hour to get to the airport. Therefore, today's time is quite relaxed. After waking up, I went to Fuqian Street to have breakfast. I chose a small shop after picking and choosing, but when I walked in, I found that I had been here yesterday morning. Yesterday I ate 10 siu mai and a bowl of wontons, and today I have a whole basket of siu mai (20 pieces), plus a large bowl of sweet soy milk. After eating, I bought a freshly baked sesame seed cake at another stall, and brought it back to the hotel to serve with tea. I didn’t have dinner yesterday, so I’ll eat more for breakfast today.

"Hi You Hotel" is located in "Changshan", which is the hometown of "Changshan Zhao Zilong", a general of Shu during the Three Kingdoms period. After breakfast, we went back to the hotel, passed by "Zhao Zilong Square", saw many old people doing morning exercises, and took a few photos. When I returned to the hotel and passed by the main station, I saw that today's room rate has been adjusted to 214 yuan per night, but it is still much more expensive than usual.

I checked out at 8:30, and I stopped for a taxi immediately after leaving the hotel. My brother said that to go to the airport, you can take the expressway or the national highway, but passengers need to pay 5 yuan to cross the highway. I was not in a hurry and decided to take the national highway. Passing by the north gate of the city wall at 8:40, the driver drove slowly to let me take pictures, got off the national highway at 9:04, and arrived at Shijiazhuang Airport T2 terminal at 9:10. The meter fare was 52.2 yuan, and I took out 52.50 yuan. The driver firmly returned the 0.5 yuan coin, claiming that 52 yuan was enough, and rolled down the window to say goodbye to me. The driver was very talkative, chatting all the way and confirmed that there is no charge in the Zhengding parking lot, and there are also free parking on the roadside green belts in many places. This makes me feel that Zhengding should be especially suitable for self-driving from Beijing, Tianjin and other places to spend the weekend. It takes less than 3 hours to drive Zhengding from Beijing. The weekends can be arranged loosely and full. If you are interested, you can go to Zhao County to see Zhao County. state bridge.

I boarded at 10:46 and took off at 11:10. The airline lunch was not downgraded at all, which surprised me, because the new regulations that airlines can determine their own food and beverage standards have just been introduced, and many airline meals have lowered the quality. I did not expect The flight meal of Hebei Airlines is still the same. Arrived at Xiamen Gaoqi Airport T3 terminal at 13:55, the eldest son X.J. drove to the airport to pick him up. Today is the last day of the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, and I can be regarded as catching up with the Mid-Autumn Festival reunion and cakes for the whole family.
