Wanfeng Lake
On July 22, we departed from Xingyi at 8 o'clock after breakfast. The bus went along the winding mountain road between peaks and forests, turned 9 turns and 18 turns, and headed for Wanfeng Lake.
When I reported to the group, there was no scenic spot of Wanfeng Lake in the itinerary, and I felt a little regretful. But now the tour guide and the driver say that Wanfeng Lake and Wanfeng Forest are not far from each other, and they are willing to run a little longer to take us to Wanfeng Lake. After visiting Wanfeng Lake, it is about 11 o’clock. Wan Fenglin could see more clearly. This is what I wish for, and I have to trek across mountains and rivers to come here, don't leave any regrets! On this winding, rugged and narrow winding mountain road, the vehicles snaked forward. I have not suffered from motion sickness for many years, but now I am dizzy when I am turned left and right in the car.
When I was suffering from nausea and wanted to vomit, the tour guide said that Wanfeng Lake had arrived.
According to the tour guide, Wanfeng Lake is a freshwater lake formed after the completion of Tianshengqiao High Dam Power Station, a national key hydropower project, and is an important energy base for the country's "West-to-East Electricity Transmission". Wanfeng Lake has a vast water surface, which is equivalent to 2 Erhai Lakes in Dali and 76 West Lakes in Hangzhou. It is an important source of water quality regulation in the Pearl River Delta and an important water source supply place for the "Pearl River Delta" economic zone.
Wanfeng Lake is surrounded by three provinces (districts) of Guizhou, Guangxi and Yunnan.
Come to the boarding place at the pier, the ticket is 80 yuan, and you can walk to 3 scenic spots: Stone Forest on the Water, Jilong Fort, and Small Three Gorges, and the time is about 1 hour.
Water Stone Forest: It is a typical needle-shaped karst landform, mainly composed of limestone, formed by the erosion of rainwater, and the lake water is close to the bottom of the stone forest, so it is called Water Stone Forest. It is a unique water wonder of Wanfeng Lake.
Fort Jilong: A resort built on a small island in the lake, a European medieval castle-style building with Gothic spires, white walls and red tiles, adding a bit of beauty to the emerald green lake and mountains. In addition, there is a road to go to this castle standing in the lake, we can only overlook it from a cruise ship.
The Little Three Gorges has the style of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River.
Wanfeng Lake is the fifth largest freshwater lake in my country. It has natural beauty, rich fish and beautiful water. Due to the advantage of fishing location and good fish love, it is a paradise for many fishing enthusiasts.
The water surface of Wanfeng Lake is vast, the lake is shimmering, boats are traveling on the lake, and people are swimming in the middle of the painting. Among the emerald green stone forests and hillsides on the shore of the lake, there are stilted buildings of Buyi people scattered in a patchwork pattern, looming in the clouds and mist. The legendary fairyland?
After swimming in Wanfeng Lake for an hour, we abandoned the boat and landed, boarded the bus, and ran to the next scenic spot—Wanfeng Forest along the winding, rugged and narrow winding road.
Wan Fenglin
From Wanfeng Lake, after walking the Panshan Highway, you will arrive at Wanfenglin Scenic Area. There are two ways to visit Wanfenglin. One is to take a sightseeing bus, stop at 8 viewing platforms, and then take a detour down the mountain and take the village road. The second is hiking, which is the most suitable way for photographers, but it requires enough physical strength and time. We choose the first one, take a sightseeing bus.

Wanfeng Forest is divided into Dongfeng Forest and Xifeng Forest. At present, the main development is Xifeng Forest. The east peak forest is slightly higher, and on the hillside of the east peak forest, there is a landscape road, so that when you look down from the height to the west peak forest, you can have a panoramic view of the myriad of shapes, and you will feel like you are in the world. Large and small conical peaks are scattered in the fields. According to different shapes, they can be divided into arrayed peak forests, Baojian peak forests, Luohan peak forests, etc., each of which has its own characteristics. While driving the sightseeing car, while listening to the commentator's explanation, while looking at the large and small peaks under the mountain, I really lamented the uncanny craftsmanship of nature.
This is a plateau karst landform basin. The peaks in the basin are tall and straight, well-proportioned and well-arranged.
Tens of thousands of acres of fertile land stretch among the peaks and forests like a green carpet. The houses with white walls and black tiles in Nahui Village are scattered in the fields. Rivers, houses, fields, mountains, ancient trees... constitute a rich and colorful idyllic landscape painting. More than 360 years ago, Xu Xiake, the "old donkey" of the Ming Dynasty, came to Wanfeng Forest. He praised: "There are so many mountains in the world, but only here are the peaks forming a forest." A few years later, Niu Ren revisited Xingyi, and wrote in his travel notes: "The peaks of Cong Li, majestic for thousands of miles, are the wonders of the Southwest."
In Guizhou Province, where the land is not three feet flat, the ten thousand mu of fertile land here is a gift from God to the villagers of Nahui Village. The Nahui River passes through the north and south, moistening the fields on both sides. Natural Bagua Field
In this green field is written a large "Fu" character, which is planted with black glutinous rice, representing the aspirations of the Buyi people in Nahuizhai to live a happy life.
The tour bus sightseeing that only looks at flowers like a horse and flowers seems to have a negative beauty. Nahui Village is divided into three small villages, which are scattered in the fields one by one. Each small village is about one or two kilometers apart. They are called Upper, Middle and Lower Nahui Villages. Nahui means "beautiful pastoral" in Buyi language. mean. Now that July has passed the season of rape blossoms, the most ideal way to play is to come in February and March (I heard that the rape blossoms in the entire scenic area are in full bloom at that time, and Wanfenglin is immersed in a golden yellow), and live in Nahui Village One night, rent a bicycle, walk through small villages and alleys, listen to the sound of cocks crowing and dogs barking, and travel through the fields to smell the fragrance of rapeseed flowers.
This time with the group tour, there is no time for free activities. After taking a sightseeing bus, we will go to the scenic spots. I really want to come here again in the sunny season when rape blossoms bloom, stop and go, take pictures, stare blankly, and slowly enjoy the beautiful scenery here. Maling River Canyon
Come out of Wanfenglin, after lunch, go to another check-in point in Southwest Guizhou - Malinghe Canyon.
The Maling River Canyon is majestic, strange, dangerous and beautiful, with a width of 50-150 meters and a depth of 120-280 meters. The Maling River Canyon is a deep fissure in the orogenic movement. There are waterfalls flowing in the valley, green bamboos hang upside down, and karst caves are connected. Ancient and famous trees on both sides of the valley are dotted in it, in various poses and with different expressions.
Tickets for Maling River Canyon are 70 yuan, free of charge before July 31. We saved 70 yuan.
Entering the scenic spot, you can take the sightseeing elevator down to the bottom of the valley, 40 yuan; you can also go down the stone steps. We played Wanfeng Lake and Wanfeng Forest in front of us. We were a little tired, so we chose to take the sightseeing elevator down.
Maling River Canyon is a landscape integrating canyons and waterfalls.
Canyons can be called the scars of the earth. This Maling River Canyon is called a beautiful scar on the earth. I went to the Guangdong Grand Canyon before the Spring Festival this year, which is also called a beautiful scar on the earth. Compared with the two canyons I have visited, the area and depth of the Guangdong Grand Canyon are much larger and deeper than the Malinghe Canyon. The Guangdong Grand Canyon is a huge pit on the ground, and the Maling River Canyon is a crack in the ground, but there are many waterfalls here. Going to the Guangdong Grand Canyon is during the dry season in winter, and you can only see a small silver-like waterfall hanging on the cliff. In the Maling River Canyon, large and small waterfalls fly across, the small ones are like yarn, and the big ones are like ten thousand horses galloping, which adds a lot of charm to the canyon. It may be that I am tired of aesthetics of the canyon. There is no beautiful scenery here that shocks me. I took some photos, walked through it, and then returned to the exit. It is a visit here.
Today, I have finished visiting 3 scenic spots here, and I will go to Fanjing Mountain tomorrow. It is about 600 kilometers from Xingyi to Mount Fanjing, and it takes 8 hours to drive, which is quite far. We left Xingyi at 5:00 p.m., walked for 4 and a half hours, stayed in Longli, and departed from Longli tomorrow morning to Mount Fanjing.
