I finished writing Qiandongnan, Guizhou in the past few days, only to find that the travel notes to Taiwan were gone! Before I went to Taiwan, Taiwan gave me more impressions: Taiwanese idol dramas, Taiwanese girls talking sweetly, Sun Moon Lake (Jingyue Lake in my hometown), Alishan girls and teenagers, taro balls, various snacks.....
The Taiwan I have been to may not be so comprehensive: people generally feel more polite, and the service industry is better. "Japanese countryside" is a more suitable summary of Taiwan's current urban construction. Also, Kenting in southern Taiwan is still very beautiful. 2018.01.30 Day 2 Taipei Palace Museum, Shilin Residence, Ximending
The National Palace Museum in Taipei is a famous museum of history, culture and art history in China. 2018.01.31 Day 3 Sun Moon Lake Live in Chiayi
I got up early and went to a mask shopping store and a farm for lunch this morning, and then went directly to Sun Moon Lake.
Sun Moon Lake is a beautiful "Heavenly Lake" in Taiwan, China. There is a small island in Sun Moon Lake that looks like a bead floating on the water from a distance. It is named Lalu Island. The shape is like a crescent moon, hence the name of Sun Moon Lake.

2018.02.01 Day 4 Alishan Danai Valley Kaohsiung

In ancient China, red coral was regarded as an auspicious and happy thing, representing noble power, so it was also called "Ruibao", a symbol of happiness and eternity. Coral is a precious organic gemstone, which has won the love of people all over the world for its unique beauty. Tibetan Buddhism lists coral as one of the "seven treasures". It is believed that it is the incarnation of Buddha. Buddhists often use it to adorn Buddha statues and make rosary beads , I think it can ward off disasters and block evil spirits, and promote practice. The highest level of coral is top red: AKA red, which is translated as "Aka" in Chinese, is typical of the grade standard of Taiwan's deep red Aka or big red Aka, commonly known as "ox blood" coral. The Suhua Highway is a highway on the east coast of Taiwan. It is a section of the Provincial Highway Taijiu Line. It was built during the Japanese colonial period. The North Road along the Qing Dynasty is the Linhai Road. In late October 2010, under the influence of typhoon "Meiyu" and the northeast monsoon, heavy rains fell across Taiwan for several days, especially in the mountainous areas of the northeast, resulting in continuous rockfall and landslides along the Suzhou (Australia) Hua (Lian) Highway, attracting a large number of tourists The tourist bus I was riding in was trapped by a landslide, including about 120 mainland tourists.
For the above reasons, we got up early to go shopping, followed the tour guide to take the train, and the driver took the Suhua Highway to pull the luggage and finally met.

This night we personally experienced the earthquake in Taiwan. I can’t remember the exact time of the night. Hualien, where we stayed the night before, had an earthquake.
Xinhua News Agency, Hualien, February 4th China Earthquake Network officially determined that at 22:13 on the 4th, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 occurred in the waters near Hualien County, Taiwan (24.16 degrees north latitude, 121.75 degrees east longitude), with a focal depth of 10 kilometers. This is the second time that an earthquake of magnitude 5 or above has occurred in this sea area that night, with the largest magnitude being 6.4.
2018.02.05 Day 8 Return
With the cold snap and the earthquake, I returned to my hometown of ice and snow safely!
