The Shui people call themselves "Sui" and got their name because they originated in the Sui River Basin. Therefore, there is a folk saying that "drinking Sui water makes people become Sui people". In 1957, the State Council approved the establishment of Sandu Shui Autonomous County, and the name of the family was Shui.
Sandu, Libo, Dushan, Duyun and other counties and cities in Qiannan, Guizhou Province are the main living areas of the Shui people.
A few years ago, I went to the above-mentioned areas to look for aquariums, and I had a preliminary understanding of aquarium life. Especially in Bangao Village, Sandong Township, Sandu County, I ran into a young man named Wei Jiagui, and saw his collection of Aquarium culture, which gave me a better understanding.

Shuishu is another surviving pictographic script besides Dongba script in the world, which has high cultural and historical value. It is the most important achievement to see it in person during this visit. (taken in 2013)
