The villages of the Bai nationality hidden on the banks of the Lishui River are distributed in Shaxi Bazi, where the Bai people have multiplied and cultivated for generations. Shaxi has had ancient villages and ancient place names since ancient times. However, with the changes of the times, the names of the ancient villages have been constantly changing. The ancient villages in history have been sparsely populated, and the villages have also changed accordingly. Some cannot be verified due to natural disasters. Today, it is found that the names of ancient villages still appear on the gift books of local people when they hold wedding events. The earliest villages appear in the characters "He" and "Deng". It appears as the word "crossing" for crossing the river. Therefore, I have collected and recorded the names of all the ancient villages of the Bai nationality in the Shaxi area.
