July is the home field of lotus, and the appearance of rhododendron at this time is very different, so it is very much expected.

It seems that it has become an annual convention to climb Jizu Mountain to enjoy flowers in July and August. Many people pay attention to the flowering period and weather before and after the azaleas are in full bloom, just to see the style of Jizu Mountain Rhododendrons.

The journey of chasing flowers in Jizu Mountain, Binchuan, Dali has officially started!

As a famous historical mountain, Jizu Mountain is characterized by the scenery and ancient temples all over the whole mountain, and the mountain is very large. The ancient temples and scenic spots are mostly connected by small paths, so walking is the best way to visit.

The ancient temples in Jizu Mountain are widely distributed, from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain. On the contrary, most of the azaleas bloom on the top and halfway up the mountain. Therefore, although the azaleas are the core of the tour of Jizu Mountain, the journey starts from the ancient temple.

After driving past Jizu Mountain with the plaque "Lingshan Yihui", you have already entered the range of Jizu Mountain. Not far from the mountain gate is the first ancient temple in the mountain——Zhusheng Temple. It is also the best-preserved ancient temple in Jizu Mountain. The largest ancient temple in Zushan.

Zhusheng Temple is surrounded by towering ancient trees, and the ancient temple is surrounded by these ancient trees. Without the noise of the busy city, it really feels like a hermit.

Walking into Zhusheng Temple, you will find that various Ming and Qing style buildings such as the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Tibetan Scripture Pavilion, and corridors of the entire Zhusheng Temple appear in the courtyard and are well preserved.

The layout of the courtyard is very regular and the area is very large, all in the form of a courtyard.

Zhusheng Temple is divided into many courtyards. The first courtyard mainly focuses on natural scenery, and the second courtyard mainly focuses on architecture. Among them, there are many precious cultural relics with a long history in the second courtyard.

Leaving Zhusheng Temple, there are road signs at the fork of the small road. They all point to other ancient temples centered on Zhusheng Temple, such as Xuyun Temple, Shizhong Temple, etc. You can follow the signs to visit various ancient temples.

After visiting the ancient temple at the foot of the mountain, climb up the mountain along the path, pass through the dense forest, and reach the cableway entrance, which indicates that we are getting closer and closer to the Rhododendron.

In Jizu Mountain during the rainy season, that touch of green is common, so the clusters of pink, white, and red in the green forests all over the mountains and plains are particularly eye-catching.

The distribution of rhododendrons in Jizu Mountain is very characteristic, basically distributed above the mountainside, and some unknown wild flowers are distributed in the dense forest below the mountainside.

As a "living fossil" in the plant kingdom, Rhododendron alpine is not like ordinary flowers.

I prefer to call it a "rhododendron tree", which is its uniqueness. The trunk texture is like a hundred-year-old tree stump, but it is on such an old tree that blooms delicate flowers every year.

So the rhododendrons on the chicken feet give people a very different feeling, like an old tree that has survived for a hundred years suddenly blooming.

The number of rhododendrons on Jizu Mountain is not many, and it is scattered in the middle of the mountain above the cableway entrance, some are distributed on the edge of the cliff, and some are distributed in the dense forest.

The rhododendrons in Jizu Mountain are really hard to describe in words. Although it is a rhododendron, it shows the tenacity of plum blossoms and the coolness of orchids.

Rhododendrons in different positions of the peony give people completely different feelings. Rhododendrons growing in dense forests are mostly in pieces, and the height of the branches is relatively high, giving people a gentle and spiritual feeling.

The rhododendrons growing on the edge of the cliff have short plants, but it looks like they have experienced wind and rain, giving people the feeling of tenacity and tenacity.

It is precisely because the rhododendrons in Jizu Mountain are not in full bloom like the rhododendrons in other places, so it is even more precious.

The original majestic and mysterious Buddhist mountain, decorated with colorful flowers, becomes more vivid, and the distance between people and it becomes less.

The rhododendrons in Jizu Mountain bloom very spiritually, seemingly haphazardly blooming, but in fact they are very meaningful.

In the unique location, you can always see that it has established a connection with the ancient temple on the top of the mountain, the street signs on the road, the clear blue sky, and the surrounding environment, so it has been called "Dujuan Yinggu Pagoda" and "Shanhua Bangu Temple" for the time being. "And a series of photos.

This kind of scenery cannot be seen at the foot of the mountain or on the mountainside. It will only appear after walking through the Kasyapa Temple along the trail. The place above the Kassapa Temple is the most likely to encounter azaleas. The places above the Kassapa Temple are cliffs. The cliff seems to make people unbelievable that such a barren place gave birth to the unique Rhododendron.

At this time, I finally realized why the same rhododendron flowers in different growth locations give people such different feelings, that is because of the environment.

All the way up, through the narrow path between the cliffs, to find the most famous view of "Rhododendron" on Jizu Mountain, "Rhododendron Promenade".

The azalea promenade here usually has no unique features, but when the azaleas are in full bloom, it becomes the most eye-catching place in the entire Jizu Mountain.

The Rhododendron Promenade has changed from its previous low-key to the C position of Jizu Mountain, and it has become a place where everyone goes to check in as long as they go to Jizu Mountain!

The rhododendrons here are not like the previous ones, which are only a small number. The rhododendrons here are the densest place in the entire Jizu Mountain. The surprise and shock of the clusters of rhododendrons are indescribable!

There are not only rhododendrons on the mountainside, the most famous scenic spots and ancient temples of Jizu Mountain are basically concentrated in this area.

During the journey to find the cuckoo, you will also encounter the Jiaye Temple, Huashou Gate, Guanyin Pavilion, Jinding Temple and other scenic spots on Jizu Mountain.

In this area, flowers coexist with ancient temples and scenic spots. Rhododendrons decorate ancient temples and pagodas, and vice versa, they also reflect rhododendrons.

The trekking trip to Chasing Flowers on Jizu Mountain in Binchuan, Dali is a journey that combines natural scenery and history and culture, and it is a must-see itinerary in summer!
