On the 29th day of the self-driving tour in Qamdo, Tibet, our in-depth self-driving tour was about to end, but we encountered a good weather, because we woke up in the morning and found that Qamdo was snowing again. Some friends may think that the winter in Tibet is not full of ice and snow? In fact, Qamdo rarely snows. We stayed in Qamdo for a month, and it actually only snowed three times.

On the same day, we continued to collect wind in Zuogong in Qamdo, and mainly photographed the three major temples of Zuogong. Although these three famous temples are called the three major temples of Zuogong, they are actually located in Tiantuo Town on the side of National Highway 318, so they are called Tian It is also possible to go to the three major temples.

Tiantuo Temple is located in Tiantuo Township, Tiantuo Town, Zuogong County. I don’t know whether it is named because it is Tiantuo Town, or Tiantuo Town is named after this temple. Anyway, it enjoys a very high status this weekend. , the transportation here is convenient, the Yuqu River flows quietly by the side, and the 318 National Highway passes through the mountain.

The full name of Tiantuo Temple is Tashi Qulin Temple. It was built by Ji Ngawang Zaba in 1487. It has a history of more than 500 years. According to historical records, it was not called Tiantuo Village at that time, but Guore Village. The name was not Tian Tuo Temple, but Jia Zong Temple. Later, the village was renamed Tian Tuo Village.

Not far from Tiantuo Temple, there is also a temple diagonally opposite Yuqu. It is called Tusi Temple, and it is also one of the three major temples in Zuogong. It was founded in 1487 by Ge Dunpei, a disciple of Master Tsongkhapa. It also has a history of more than 500 years. Due to time constraints, we did not go to take pictures. We just flew a drone from Tiantuo Temple to take a group of aerial pictures.

However, the current Tuka Temple is not the original building. Due to improper site selection, it has been rebuilt many times in history. The Tuka Temple we see now was rebuilt in 2002. It was formed by the merger of Tuka Temple and Juepu Temple. There is one sutra hall and three monk houses. Tuka Temple mainly worships Jamba Buddha, which is also known as Maitreya Buddha in the mainland, as well as Sakyamuni, Green Tara, Infinite Life Buddha, Shengle Buddha Buddha statues of King Kong and Yamantaka.

Both Tiantuo Temple and Tuka Temple have many national-level historical relics, among which Tiantuo Temple is the most important. The wooden tires, clay sculptures, and golden Buddhas in it all have extremely high cultural and ornamental value, but Yufan has never For the habit of shooting Buddha statues, if you want to watch them, you'd better have the opportunity to go to the scene.

When we arrived that day, Tiantuo Temple was very lively, but due to the language barrier, we didn't know what was going on inside. It seemed to be offering sacrifices, and it was a bit like a celebration. Planting whole grains, lamas form a circle, chanting imitation words, what do you think it is?

Later, we asked some local friends, and they said it might be the Lantern Festival, but according to a young monk in Tiantuo Temple, it was not (they watched me fly a drone at the time, and they said they wanted the photos I took, So two lamas added to my social account), but they couldn't express the specific festival in Mandarin, so I couldn't understand it either.

We took a lot of photos and videos at Tiantuo Temple that day, many of which were about their practices, and this kind of content is more sensitive, and we don’t know much about it, so I won’t give a detailed introduction. If you know more about it, welcome to leave a message later to tell everyone, thank you!
