I will take you to chase the sunset

A few months ago, I wrote a travel note about Dehong, but in fact it was mostly about Mangshi. After all, I was at home at that time, and I didn’t have the mentality of traveling, so I finally produced an article full of affection but a little regret .

In August, by chance, I participated in Hunan Satellite TV's Tiantian Upward and CCTV's charming Chinatown Dehong, so I followed the team to various counties and cities in Dehong to shoot locations. It seems that the students who have been away from home for many years go back to their hometown, or the familiarity in memory, but there are many changes. Although I have heard about many places, I was still amazed when I finally saw them, especially when I went to many secret places that I, a Dehong person, have never been to.

The charming Chinatown in September came to an end. During the National Day, Longchuan held the Munao Zongge, and Ruili held the China-Myanmar Paukphaw Carnival. Li Po, Pilot and Brother Yong also came for this. On the night before we arrived in Ruili, we took a taxi back to the hotel after dinner just in time for the sunset, and the sky was dyed pink.

The pilot said with emotion: "You said, under such a sky, it would be so romantic to walk hand in hand with a little Dai girl."

Brother Yong also sighed: "Even a fight is romantic under such a sky."

Everyone in the car couldn't help laughing, the driver suddenly interrupted and said:

"Nongmo Lake in front is the most beautiful place to watch the sunset, do you want to take a detour to take you to see it?"

Everyone nodded wildly, so the master glanced at his watch and said to us: "Hurry up, the sun will completely set in about ten minutes, and I will take you to chase the sunset."

I will take you to chase the sunset.

This is probably the most romantic sentence I have heard in recent years,

It was actually told by a taxi driver to me.

In fact, in this overly romantic town, becoming romantic has become a matter of course. The sunset is still the same sunset, the sunset that accompanied me in a daze by the basketball court after dinner in junior high school, the sunset that I heard about in the classroom secretly, and the sunset that was reflected on my mother who came to pick me up after class.

It's just that I used to be a resident, so I took all the beautiful scenery for granted. After wandering around, I realized that not all places are as favored as Dehong.

so,

Are you ready?

I'm going to take you to chase the sunset.

Attach the positive first

This is a travel note with a different style from my previous ones. Most of the places are connected by videos. Although this is more work, (I personally think) the content is more intuitive and concise.

Some thoughts before sunset

Before starting, read some strategies

According to me, Dehong is suitable to come all year round, especially in winter, where it is warm at 20 degrees in the afternoon.

Many cities have direct flights or transfers to Kunming. If you avoid holidays, Kunming will only cost two or three hundred air tickets. You can also drive or take a bus from Kunming. Dehong is an ethnic autonomous prefecture with jurisdiction over Mangshi, Ruili, Lianghe County, Yingjiang County, and Longchuan County. The distance between counties and cities is one or two hours' drive. Mangshi is the state capital, Ruili city port has border scenery, and the newly opened Mr. Academy in Lianghe really wants to go. Village tourism in Yingjiang is a must, and Husa in Longchuan is sure Eye-opening.

There are buses between counties and cities, and of course self-driving is the most convenient. The city is not big if you don’t leave the city. I like to walk, and I can run around the city for eight yuan by taxi. Of course, there are shared bicycles and small blue cars that can be used.

Munaozongge on the 15th day of the first lunar month and the Songkran Festival on the 11th, 23rd, and April are the most lively. Of course, there are also Aluwoluo Festival, Kuoshi Festival, Flower Watering Festival, etc. If you want to come to celebrate the festival, remember to book accommodation in advance. The price is very low, and two people can eat it sideways in the snack street for tens of dollars.

It is suggested that if you come here, don’t stop at nothing, live like a local, experience the culture of ethnic minorities, taste a variety of delicacies, and ride a bicycle laughing and laughing on the streets with fruity and floral fragrances.

This is a travelogue that has been planned for a long time.

Thanks to the handsome Governor Wei and Mr. Yu Rongguang who appeared on the screen, as well as all the teachers, staff and cast members of "Charming Chinatown"

Thanks to the No. 2 tower, which is as talented and handsome as possible, for shooting and making the video in the travel notes, and thanks to Yaoyao (@Ooyaoyao o for shooting and providing beautiful photos of many places in Dehong, all of which have been added to Yaoyao watermark)

SMIWADI · Wonderland on Earth

Before the trip started, Brother Yong sent me a message, saying, "I can't read this itinerary anymore. Listen to the name, Shimiwadi. I feel so beautiful before I go."

When I arrived at Shimiwadi, I remembered this and asked Brother Yong again, what did he think of Shimiwadi. He said, "It's okay, it's just a fairyland on earth." When he said this, he looked ahead and didn't look at me. Over there, the grass dam and the shallow mountain are far away, and the clouds are lingering around the mountain. Strive to poke a corner. It is indeed like a fairyland on earth.

Shimiwadi means beautiful Huangcaoba in Lisu language. What I want to say is that Huangcaoba is not so accurate. After all, the scenery here is different throughout the year, and the yellow grass is just a time period. presentation.

If you come in spring, the pear blossoms are a little like snowflakes scattered around, but they are a bit gentler than snowflakes. In summer and autumn, the mountains are covered with green grass, and the wind gently caresses your cheeks, cattle and horses, rivers and shallow mountains in the distance; in winter, hoarfrost covers the ground , quiet and a little alienated, not daring to be disturbed, yet unable to resist getting close

It is 40 kilometers to the north from Yingjiang County, and it is more than 10 kilometers away from Sudian Township. Keep a little distance in the world, so as to be more beautiful.

When I went there, more than a dozen Jingpo junior high school students had a picnic on Huangcaoba. A few of them were busy roasting suckling pig, a few of them teamed up to prepare other ingredients, and the rest sang and danced to music. As soon as I got in touch with them, I graciously changed the pop music to Jingpo song and invited us to Mu Nao Zongge (Jingpo dance). There is no long knife or fan. The children picked up sticks and cardboards and started to dance. The pilot was recording. Li Po and Brother Yong were a little moved but still hesitated. Let's talk.

I really like the people of Jingpo, they are as enthusiastic as fire, and they are not afraid of life. When singing songs, the cheers can be heard far away in Caoba, so far away that I once thought that the cattle and sheep grazing near the hills were dancing with us. .

When we were about to cross the bridge when we left, a girl caught up with me and handed me a large bowl of shredded roast pork without saying a word, and then waved to me proudly: "Sister, take it and eat it." ,You are welcome!"

There are also people who like Shimiwadi affectionately call it the Shangri-La of western Yunnan, but in my heart, Shimiwadi is Shimiwadi, which is different from any other place.

It is the wind caressing the earlobe, the light in the mountains that day, or the Jingpo children dancing on the grass dam that make the difference here.

I have a story hidden in my heart,

about the simiwadi,

yours mine

Down Meng Pi · Lisu Love Song Comes to Dream

The reputation of the Lisu villages in Xiamengpi has been heard for a long time. Yingjiang was originally an area where disasters occurred frequently. Earthquakes, mudslides, landslides and the like occurred from time to time. In addition to the poor infrastructure, it is often heard that various villages have been affected by disasters. The news that seriously affected the development of tourism and poverty alleviation, and the development of homestay culture among villages, but I have never had the opportunity to experience it.

Speaking of which, Xiamengpi is right next to Shimiwadi. The journey is not easy, but both of them are a bit tainted with fairy spirit. If you travel long distances to Shimiwadi, you must stay in Xiamengpi for one night. best

The first time I went to Xiamengpi was with the location filming team of Charming China Town. The scene was very lively that day, and all the people in the village, old and young, were dressed in Lisu costumes.

When we arrived, it was getting late, and before we had time to take a good look at the village, it got dark. We all met in the square of the village to light a bonfire and dance the Lisu dance. Although he didn't know anything about Lisu dance, he still clumsily followed the pace of the person in front of him. A few little girls ran up to us shyly, pushing and shoving, but no one was ashamed to come forward. Of course I have to be more generous at this time. I followed a few times with one hand and the other. The dance steps kept changing with the music. The music mixed with the children's laughter and screams spread far away.

And then danced until it got dark, exhausted but satisfied. I have always heard that the accommodation in Xiamengpi Banshan seems to be living in a quiet place that is undisputed by the world, but that time, I didn’t have time to experience it. I could only stay in the upper half of the mountain in the dark. cicadas chirping

After returning to Chengdu, I searched for a Lisu song at that time and listened to it every day. Although I didn’t understand a word, I finally heard it to the point where I could sing along

On the National Day and then to Xiamengpi, the aura of the mighty filming team that faded away from the charm of Chinatown is the most authentic way to see Xiamengpi

How should I put it, now that I think about it, my first reaction is cute

The scenery in the village is really lovely. The green trees are lush and the stream is trickling. Not far away are cattle and sheep strolling in the field. A child is playing with a bird-bluffing device in the field.

And I met so many lovely people

The grandma in red was really curious about the pilot's camera. Although grandma could only speak Lisu, it didn't affect her to come over to study with him for a long time without fear, and finally held Li Po's hand and danced with Li Po, and greeted him. ask the pilot to record this

Sitting at the head of the village and smoking a pipe, the grandpa Lisu held Brother Yong's hand and talked a lot. Although Brother Yong couldn't understand a word, after a few Lisu children came to translate, he realized that the uncle had been talking to Brother Yong. , if there is no place to sleep at his house tonight, it will be fine, and if it is cold at night, you can light a fire for us

I met a few little girls in the village and laughed with them. When we walked to the square in a blink of an eye, one of them ran over and stuffed some bamboo tubes into our hands for us to taste.

Probably because he prefers Li Po, he has a whole one, and the pilot and Brother Yong can only eat it separately, so I saw two big boys holding a small stick of Baba in a bamboo tube, and sighed while eating:

"My God, the people of Dehong are so kind!"

There are B&Bs in the village and on the half-mountain. I like the half-mountain side. Although it is a certain distance from the village square and restaurants, it is not convenient to get on and off with a big suitcase. Carrying the suitcase without hesitation, crossing the bridge and climbing the stairs

Because it's worth it, it's worth it

Just imagine,

Open the door and you will see a quiet mountain scene. Although you can’t see the children playing or the cattle and sheep in the field at the foot of the mountain, the joyful atmosphere is scattered around the forest, flowing into the body along with the breath, and even the toes are happy When you curl up unconsciously, you can be surrounded by the sound of gurgling streams and occasional birdsong the moment you lie on the bed. At night, you will fall asleep with the starry sky on your pillow, and all the good things about the daytime storm will come together in your dreams.

I was having a sweet dream about Xiamengchi, when Li Po knocked on my door

"Go to the square, they're playing that song you listen to every day!"

Hey, what is listening to every day, I don’t have time to complain, so I rushed to the square at the foot of the mountain, and I didn’t forget to call the pilot and brother Yong on the way

"Let's dance!"

I am so moved, I thought the bonfire party last time was a special arrangement by the CCTV column group, but I didn’t expect that the villagers would spontaneously hold a bonfire party every weekend, everyone would sing and dance

It was not as grand as when shooting, but the atmosphere was much more intimate. Some villagers wore Lisu costumes, and some wore casual clothes; Many tourists also joined spontaneously. It doesn't matter if you are not familiar with the dance steps. After all, happiness is the most important thing.

In the afternoon, the pipe-smoking uncle I met was also there. The old man was very old and his back was bent, but his legs and feet were very agile, and he danced without any fuss. The uncle was excited again when he saw Brother Yong, and he pulled him and talked a lot. Although he couldn't understand what the uncle wanted to say, he could probably guess that it was the uncle who wanted Brother Yong to join in the dance.

Although the uncle didn't invite me, I still had the cheek to automatically join the team. When I was studying abroad, many people kept asking me if all of us ethnic minorities could sing and dance well—it’s no wonder! I have learned the Lisu dance twice, but it’s barely enough. When I just learned a little bit, I changed songs and dance steps, and I was in a hurry.

But what does it matter? All of us ethnic minorities love to sing and dance. Let’s not mention how to sing and dance, the most important thing is to have fun. And after all, practice makes perfect, maybe next time I will be a Lisu queen too (laughs)

It's a pity that I didn't meet the children who danced together last time, otherwise I would have to drag them to dance together last time, sing the Lisu love song that I hummed and hummed in my dream together.

Hornbill Valley Walking into Amazon China

I don’t know when it started. In the circle of friends, I often see a few photos of Dehong’s photographers in the mountains, wearing camouflage uniforms, covered in mud but smiling very happily, and attaching a few very cute birds. Er'er snapped a photo and added the text:

"After two full days of guarding, I finally took a picture of the hole."

Or chatting with the teacher who teaches in the village, when talking about the future plans of the students, she mentioned that many students are receiving professional knowledge training out of interest, and they are expected to become professional bird guides in the future

Since it was the first time I heard the word bird guide at that time, I couldn’t help but pay more attention to it. However, I was still studying in Europe at the time, so I only had a vague idea in my mind.

Later, I finally followed the filming team of Charming China Town to film and visit, and then went to the local area to hear many senior bird guides who gave up high-paying jobs in first-tier cities, or high-achieving students who joined the mountains after finishing their studies, guarding and recording birds in Hornbill Valley. Climbing mountains and watching birds in the rain with Brother Xiao Wu and Brother Xiao Le (although I didn’t see them as birds in the end because of the heavy rain), but I can finally touch a little bit of their lives

There is no road up the mountain, only a trail that bird watchers often walk on. It is not very easy to walk, and it is often slippery when it rains, so be careful. Although I couldn't see any birds along the way, there were many strange-looking plants along the way that I had never seen before.

Halfway up the mountain, there is a shed built for bird watching. In order not to damage the ecology and disturb the birds, the shed is not large in scale, and it is relatively simple, with a thick layer of grass on it. Although it had been raining since the morning, there were still several nature photographers holding binoculars and telephoto lenses and standing there motionless when we arrived. One sat too far out, half of his shoulders were wet from the rain, but he didn't realize it.

If you look carefully with a telescope, you can find that there is a hornbill hole in a big tree on the mountainside opposite the shed. Many photographers are looking at that direction.

"I once watched for two weeks, and finally took a picture of a hornbill coming out of its hole." When he said this, Brother Xiaole smiled happily.

British BBC documentary director Ben has shot in Dehong twice, and commented that Dayingjiang Scenic Area is the Amazon of China.

How about we go to the Chinese Amazon to see rare birds?

Husa · The Knife and the Garden

At that time, when the director of Tiantian Shang contacted me, she wanted me to play the role of the daughter of the pretender King Husa Dao. She asked me if I knew anything about Husa Dao

I'm being honest and say I don't know much and I haven't been to Hussa

She sighed, and asked me, how about starting to understand Husa and Husa Dao now?

I say yes

Because I need to pretend to be the daughter of King Sa Dao to not be stumped by the guests' questions, so I prepared a background for myself

One of the problems is

"Where is your home?"

At that time, the preparations were quite thoughtful according to the map, and all the shops in which area, street, house, and surrounding area were considered.

But after going to Husa once, he did not hesitate to completely overthrow everything he had prepared before.

"My family is in Husa Township, the back garden of the Buddha. We go straight along the straight road. There are wide dams on both sides of the road. In this season, the dams are either green or golden. Spring is the best time. In spring, there are roses on both sides of the road. In full bloom, my house is behind a field of white roses."

The Hometown of Munao Zongge A Grand Carnival for Thousands of People

Munao Zongge is usually held on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month every year. During the National Day this time, Longchuan has added activities to celebrate Munao Zongge. Munao Zongge is probably a festival that I live every week without getting bored, and Longchuan is undoubtedly the most suitable city to celebrate Munao Zongge~

The Munao Field in Longchuan is right next to the government. In the morning, crowds of people came to Munao Field to eat snacks, buy accessories, and line up to enter the field. When we arrived on time, we were dumbfounded by the endless queues waiting to enter the field, but everyone They all spontaneously put on national costumes, so even though there are many people, they feel seductive, like a feast of national culture

The Jingpo people originated from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and some Jingpo people settled in Dehong after several migrations. The Jingpo people belong to the mountains. They are passionate, open-minded and hospitable, and all of them are good at singing and dancing. "Munao Zongge" means dancing together in Jingpo language. It was originally a grand sacrificial activity held by the Jingpo people for the sun god. Later, Jingpo people sang and danced to pray for good weather, prosperous people and animals, and a good harvest in the coming year. Auspicious and happy.

On this day, people put on festive costumes, beat wooden drums, gongs, bamboo flutes and Dongba in unison, gather in the dance hall, line up in a long line, imitate the dancing steps and postures of birds, retrace the migration road of the past, and sing and dance heartily .

The dance team is led by Naoshuang Nauba, and along the migration route of the ancestors, the dance steps are constantly changing with the changes of the drumbeats, sometimes interspersed and sometimes surrounded, advancing and retreating in an orderly manner without disorder.

The sound of drums and music resounded through the hearts of the men. The long knife in the man’s hand and the silver robe on the girl’s clothes shone silver in the sunlight. Red fans, Jingpo umbrellas, handkerchiefs, green leaves, and girls held all kinds of accessories and danced to the music. , I couldn’t help but sang along with the music loudly O ra O ra~ On the square, there are Jingpo girls who shuttle back and forth with water and wine, enthusiastically pouring water and wine for the dancers on the field to quench their thirst

Not only the people of Jingpo, tourists and onlookers were emotionally affected and joined the team of tens of thousands singing.

Immediately after replacing the three of them with Longi, I felt quite decent~

When queuing up, I was full of expectations. After entering the venue, I couldn't hold back and started dancing with the big team. It is not an exaggeration to say that Mu Nao Zongge is the most contagious dance. At first Li Po and Brother Yong were a little embarrassed, but then they danced happily and did not care about other things~

Probably because it is the hometown of Munao Zongge, I always feel that Zongge in Longchuan has a more primitive and wild sense, as if I really went back to the distant age of ethnic migration and felt the fiery passion of the Jingpo people. enthusiasm

The enthusiastic Jingpo people have an unwritten custom that they are guests who come from afar, and guests cannot leave hungry when they arrive at the host’s house. Therefore, since you have experienced Mu Nao Zongge, you must not miss the green leaf banquet, a special food of the Jingpo people. .

There must be food when you come to the festival. You may have heard less about Jingpo cuisine. Most Jingpo dishes have the characteristics of subtropical mountains and forests, such as ghost chicken, pounded eel, grilled fish in bamboo tubes, cold tripe, fried shredded beef with sour papaya, roasted mountain pigeon with pickled vegetables, and red deer. Dried meat floss and so on.

The dining table is covered with large green leaves, and each dish is also wrapped in green leaves. The green leaf feast is a traditional eating habit of the Jingpo people, and now it has developed into a banquet for the Jingpo people to entertain distinguished guests.

It looks ecological and healthy, and everyone is satisfied to sigh after eating it

too delicious! It's incoherently delicious

Yunsong Guiling Villa · The most beautiful starry sky

There are a lot of people asking, so the reservation method is placed first.

Among the newly developed scenic spots in Dehong in recent years, there are two places that I fell in love with as soon as I heard the names.

Shimiwadi in Yingjiang,

Longchuan's Yun Song returned to zero.

If there is anything in common between these two places, it is probably that the roads are not easy to walk. Then again, cultivating immortals needs to go through ninety-nine and eighty-one difficulties, so it is reasonable that the road to the fairyland is a bit difficult. Going up to Lingling Mountain Villa from Longchuan County, you have to zigzag up the mountain road, and sometimes there is construction on the way, which is even more difficult, and it will test the driver's skills

When I was halfway up the mountain, I glanced out of the car window, and I couldn't take my eyes off it.

I have been to Longchuan many times, but I have never seen Longchuan like this

The city is getting smaller and smaller, surrounded by green plants. Due to the relatively small number of high-rise buildings, it does not give people a sense of oppression of a "reinforced forest", but an indescribable kindness

The architectural style of the villa is simple and natural, with grass and flowers growing everywhere on the top of the mountain; wooden huts, balconies and swings on the side; ponds and glass planks outside the huts...

A bird flies by and I wake up on a swing from a sweet childhood dream

If possible, I really want to take you to Yunsong Guiling Mountain Villa to watch the stars. When the night begins to fall, the lights and stars in the city begin to light up little by little. We lie on the rocking chair on the terrace and bask in the moon, whispering something or sweet or sad past

You can hear the sound of cicadas in summer nights, and it won’t be too cold in winter nights

Maybe by that time, you will know more about me, Ai Dehong

Nandian Tusi Mansion · Historic Bamboo Dragonfly

The first stop of the filming of Charming China Town was Nandian Tusi Yamen in Lianghe, which is probably as important as the Forbidden City in the hearts of our Dai people.

The main entrance seems inconspicuous in the past, but after entering, it is found that there are layers of different rooms, as if it is a city within a city. The "Guardian Frontier" hangs high on the court hall, majestic and solemn, and the sun just shines in in the garden directly opposite, a clump of small flowers blooms in the corner, a few rows of swallows fly by in the air, and some birdsong can be heard slightly. things are quiet

It was in the morning when we took the photo, and when it warmed up a little bit, the whole yard was full of bamboo dragonflies flying. At that time, there was a feeling of suddenness, as if the Tusi Yamen had experienced so much history and so many major events in the distance, and what was passed down was a kind of gentle solemnity and a kind of cordial feeling

It's a pity that such a picture has not been recorded, so you need to go to Lianghe to experience the solemnity, gentleness, kindness, thick sense of history and bamboo dragonflies that travel through time.

Jinta Hot Spring Another way to open

Don’t just think of Tengchong when soaking in hot springs

Lianghe is not far from Tengchong. It takes less than an hour to get there by car.

There are golden pagodas, hot springs, and local delicacies in Lianghe

(and the price is also very beautiful)

Two countries in one village drink water from one river

I live in Jiangzhitou, you live in Jiangzhiwei

Love each other infinitely, drink a river together

A swing, swinging to China, swinging to Myanmar

For dinner, my younger brother’s family who lives in China invites my elder brother’s family who lives in Myanmar to eat together

These seemingly bizarre experiences are actually staged every day in the two countries in one village

The national border passes through the village, and the people of the two countries live together in an area

Burmese chickens laid eggs in China

Trees from China grow to bear fruit in Myanmar

Such scenes can be seen everywhere in Ruili and Yizhai.

Jade Market · Picking Blocks to Cover the Door

When filming Charming China Town, Mr. Yu Rongguang shared a story with us.

The story is that a family in Dehong owed a lot of debts and was unable to repay. One day, the creditor came to collect the debt and saw a door-blocking stone at the gate of his house, so he discussed with him and said, "Give me this door-blocking stone." , as your debt has been repaid.

When the debtor heard that there was such a good thing, the door-blocking stone also looked ordinary and dusty, so he naturally agreed.

Later, the creditor left with the door-blocking stone, but who knew that there was a piece of high-quality jade in the middle of the stone! Not to mention all the debts were offset, the creditor also gave an additional house to the debtor.

The parties involved in the story are no longer known, but if it is said that it is in Ruili, Dehong, such a thing can happen.

"One knife is poor, one knife is rich." There may be a piece of good jade hidden in the most ordinary stone, and there may be nothing in the material with obvious jade exposed on the surface. It is not an exaggeration to describe Ruili's jade market as magical and exciting. The wool market is bustling in the morning, and the stone betting crowd screams in surprise at night. Rumors and stories about jade are never lacking here.

At nine o'clock in the evening, all kinds of vehicles were parked on the third floor outside the entrance of the jade market. There are all kinds of food stalls at the entrance, most of them are Burmese-style restaurants run by Burmese businessmen, and of course there are many ethnic minority-style snacks. The gates of every house were full of people, including those from China, Burma, blondes, and other countries. Even Li Po couldn't help sighing, "This place really doesn't feel like being in China."

The entrance of the jade market is already eye-opening, but the inside of the market is naturally even more lively. Generally speaking, jade should give people the impression that it is in a shopping mall with high decoration, but the jade market in Ruili is full of the atmosphere of the market. Searching for goods and asking prices, bargaining, live broadcasting online, or simply watching the excitement, all kinds of voices filled the entire market. Jade is also available in various colors, styles, and carvings. Not to mention Li Po, a foreigner, even the pilot, Brother Yong, and I couldn't help but exclaim in amazement.

It's not that there are no good products here because the market atmosphere is strong. In fact, on the contrary, the emerald necklace explained by the anchor may be worth hundreds of thousands, and the jade on the bracelet randomly placed on the flannel may cost tens of thousands of yuan a piece. Every year, jade merchants from all over the world come to Ruili to choose wool.

Dehong shares a border with Myanmar, and jadeite, shuimoyu, and other raw materials have been coming in from Myanmar through Ruili in a steady stream. Coupled with decades of trade exchanges and government policy support, a very mature and unique jade market has been formed here.

But to be honest, it's all here, do you want to pick one of the door-blocking stones?

Maybe there will be another story about you in this jade anecdote passed down by word of mouth.

Nanqiao Mechanics Museum·The motherland we are coming

I have been thinking about what a good work of art should look like

Although I am from Dehong, I am ashamed to admit that I am not familiar with the history of the Yunnan-Burma Highway and the history of Nanqiao Mechanics.

That day, I went to the rehearsal hall to rehearse the program of Charming Chinatown, and saw the program prepared by Dehong for the first time—recreating the history of the Yunnan-Burma Highway and Nanqiao Mechanics

The program was just seven minutes long, and it was not a rehearsal with makeup on. After watching it, I realized that my collar was already wet with tears

Later, I watched this story a few times in a row, and saw that I could remember everyone’s every action, and I could "watch" this story in front of my eyes with my eyes closed.

But I still couldn't help it, I burst into tears again and again in the rehearsal hall, in the studio, and even in my dreams after a few months

During the construction of the Burma Road, the people of Dehong who smashed stones with hoes, dug the ground with their fingers, and even sacrificed their lives

Overseas Chinese in Nanyang who were filled with righteous indignation in the face of national crisis and left their homes to support Dehong

And now the builders and children of Dehong

a small stage

tells the story of three groups

they are different

But they gathered in Dehong for the same reason

Once upon a time when wars raged

Faith is firm

Now the tears are blurred

Love and hate become clearer

Wanding is a very small town

In the past, we always joked that from this street to the end of the street, we almost finished shopping in Wanding.

But if you go to the Nanqiao Mechanics Memorial Hall

you will know

The Anti-Japanese War reached the most critical moment of complete blockade

It's the joint efforts and sacrifices of everyone in this small town

paved the way for us

All the way to peace and prosperity
