Chaka Salt Lake is located in Chaka Town, Wulan County, Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. It is one of the four major scenic spots in Qinghai, together with Kumbum Monastery, Qinghai Lake, and Mengda Tianchi. It is also a tourist recommended by the National Tourism Geography Magazine. Resort, which is called "a place that people must go to in their life". But is it really as National Travel Geographic claims? actually not!
Private cars can only be parked in the newly built parking lot (ticket office), the ticket is 50 yuan, and you have to take a bus sightseeing bus to the ticket checking office of the scenic spot, and the ticket is 30 yuan per person. I thought I could go directly to the scenic spot by taking a sightseeing bus, but it ended up stopping a few hundred meters away from the ticket gate. After checking the ticket, you have to walk close to 1.5km (about 2300 steps) against the sun to reach the Sky Mirror Scenic Area. Otherwise, you have to take a small train (50 yuan/person, 100 yuan for a round trip), and there is also a small sightseeing car in the scenic area (10 yuan/person), but I didn’t see the ride. I don't know why it is designed like this, it feels like there are pits everywhere.
For the widely acclaimed tourist destination, now it has mixed reviews. Some people are deeply impressed by its beauty, and even say that it is impossible to describe its beauty in words. However, some people went there admiringly, but when they arrived, they expressed great disappointment, thinking that the name was not worthy of the name. So, what is the real Chaka Salt Lake like? Why does it have mixed reviews?
In the Salt Sculpture Square of Chaka, you can see many distinctive salt sculptures, such as the Queen Mother of the West, Zhang Fei, and various lifelike sculptures of Shanshen.

There were several artificially carved salt sculptures along the way. These artificial landscapes did not have any attraction for me, and we went straight to the center of the lake.
When many tourists came to Chaka Salt Lake full of joy, they were disappointed. Many people were even very angry, thinking that this scenic spot is too cheating. It is not a mirror of the sky at all, but a mud pit. The name of the mirror of the sky is definitely a vain name. .
I walked around the scenic spot for a long time, but I couldn't find the "mirror of the sky". I don't know if the season is wrong or the time is wrong? Or is the location wrong? Anyway, I didn't see "Mirror of the Sky"
Later, I saw many netizens on the Internet complaining about Qinghai Chaka Scenic Spot, saying that this scenic spot is completely living in a "photo deception", and it is no longer the old Chaka Salt Lake. Now the scenic spot is seriously damaged. The distance by small train is only two kilometers, but the round trip costs 100 yuan. It seems that many netizens have been complaining and reporting this situation on the Internet for so many years, but Chaka Scenic Spot simply ignores that problem and still goes its own way. I am also surprised, since tourists complain about this scenic spot on the Internet every year, why is there no supervision department to take care of it? Or turn a blind eye?
Chaka Salt Lake ticket 60 yuan + bus 30 yuan + small train 100 yuan + battery car 10 yuan (round trip) costs a total of 200 yuan.
Moreover, you have to walk a long way to get to the place where you take the car. If you don’t enter by car, you can only walk. I saw that the fare is so expensive, so I had to choose to walk. I walked a total of 12,250 steps. I, a tourist from the plains, carried a camera and a tripod to walk back and forth on the plateau at an altitude of 3,200 meters. It was really hard! Not only did I think so, but I also thought so when I met local tourists later, and they were also very angry! I feel that I spent more than 200 yuan, and there is nothing to see in the scenic area. It is a waste of money!
Qinghai also has very good scenic spots worth learning from Chaka Salt Lake. For example, when we visited the Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang this time, we felt that the management level of the scenic spot was very high. The shuttle bus arrived at the entrance of the scenic spot once, and once entered the gate of the scenic spot, it directly led tourists to watch it. I watched two free movies. These two movies are very close to the content of our visit. Not only did I understand the background of the rise of Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes at that time, but also learned about the value of cultural relics and historical culture. After watching the movie, there will be a scenic guide leading the team , A team followed the guides in an orderly manner, and selectively visited the cave. After the final visit, it was noon. Every tourist's experience was very good, which saved time and was convenient and fast. It was really seamless!
But this is not the case for the Tea Salt Lake Scenic Area. The scenic area is not so big that two shuttle buses have been arranged, and there is still a long way in the middle that tourists need to walk in by themselves! What is the problem? It shows that the management level of the merchant is too poor! Did not consider the problem from the perspective of tourists, just want to make black money!
In the future, everyone should not be fooled by the so-called "Internet celebrity" scenic spots. Like the Chaka Sky Mirror, there are countless Internet celebrity scenic spots that have tried their best to create landscaping and retouching pictures to deceive tourists, exposing a very serious problem in all Internet celebrity scenic spots: Not sincere. Some people have even heard the word "net celebrity" and thought it was a trap.
After visiting the scenic spot, it was already 7:30 in the evening, and there was no battery car to transport tourists. It took nearly 3 kilometers to walk from the terminal of the small train to the gate. Isn’t this forcing tourists to take the small train back and forth? It’s hard to walk When I got to the door, I had to fold and walk around a lot of shops when I went out. I was so dizzy that my legs were no longer my own.
I hope that the Chaka Salt Lake Scenic Spot can learn from the Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes Scenic Spot. Tourists from all over the country travel thousands of miles to the Qinghai Plateau. Be considerate of tourists. Your management level and service quality really need to be improved!
