Preparation
It is about 280 kilometers from Beijing to Mazhen Tourist Resort in China. We chose to travel by self-driving, because not only can we see a lot of winter scenery along the way, but we can also control the time of play by ourselves. After this self-driving, I summed up some things that I need to bring when traveling~ I hope it will be helpful to everyone
▼1. Check the vehicle: You need to do a long-distance inspection before departure, focusing on tires, oil and brakes. The two-day limited journey is wasted on the road. The most important thing is to come out to play and pay attention to safety;
▼2. Emergency tools: Since it is a self-driving trip, the car is usually equipped with an emergency toolbox, such as a flashlight, tape, tow rope, snow chains, etc.;
▼3. Photography equipment: Sufficient batteries, suitable lenses, tripods, sports cameras, etc. It is best to bring a fill light to take beautiful portrait photos;
▼4. Clothes: Since the altitude of Mazhen in China is slightly higher, it is very cold in the morning and evening, so you must bring a thicker coat. I tried on two 600D socks and put on 5 pieces of clothing. In the end, my down jacket was all I can't wear it anymore, I'm wearing my boyfriend's coat; besides, don't forget to bring a warm baby.
▼5. Daily necessities: sunscreen, Swiss Army Knife, umbrella, charger, toiletry bag, etc. The sun at noon is very dazzling, and it is snowing, so don’t forget your sunglasses.
itinerary planning
It is also the first time for us to come to China's Mazhen Resort. We briefly summarized our itinerary and some of the items we visited in the past two days:
Morning of January 4th: Beijing - China Horse Town Tourist Resort; enjoy the scenery along the way and take pictures
Noon on January 4th: Arrive at the hotel and check in;
Afternoon of January 4: Dancing Horse World Paradise, Ice Hot Pot, Ice and Snow Events, "Riding the Wind with Rhyme" performance, Food Street;
Evening of January 4th: Roasted Sheep Restaurant, Electronic Music Festival, Fireworks, Bar, KTV;
Morning of January 5: Ice and Fire Park Opening Ceremony, Tea Horse Memory, Caravan Stockade, Ice and Snow Project;
At noon on January 5; Mengma Restaurant;
Afternoon of January 5: Ice and snow project + return trip.

Afternoon of the first day: Enter from the main entrance, pass by Tea Horse Memory - Caravan Stockade - Horseback Feelings - Royal Stables - Snow Mountain Castle - Heroes Square - Ice and Fire Festival Special Area - Horse Racing - "Riding the Wind with Rhyme" - Exit Food Street;
You can walk around like this first, and you will pass through some small shops that are more interesting, such as the mirror maze, 80% of which can be visited for free with tickets, then go to the ice and snow area and Heroes Square, and finally go to the food street, so that you can visit many small shops shop, will not pull down any small details.
In the evening, you can go back to the Heroes Square from the food street and experience the electronic music festival and fireworks party.
Second day: If you have finished walking all the small shops on the first day, you can wait for the opening ceremony performance at the main entrance on the second day, and then take a shortcut to the Heroes Square and start the snow sports entertainment, which can save a lot of time and energy.
From the main entrance, you can pass through Mengma Restaurant directly. I only discovered this shortcut at noon when I was about to leave!

Chinese horse town does not mean a town! It is a tourist resort based on horse culture and integrates accommodation and entertainment. To be honest, there are quite a lot of entertainment items in it. Just look at the map and you can play for several days. , the point is that many entertainment items do not need to line up!

There are many sculptures and ice sculptures related to horses in the park of Nuoda. It feels so dreamy for a moment! In the evening, there will be an electronic music festival performance and a super beautiful fireworks show in front of the tallest horse.
How can you not play in the snow when you are in the snow?
Personally, I think one of the best things about China's Horse Town is that there are not many people, and there are so many entertainment items to play! Even if someone is queuing up to play a project, other places can play again. Moreover, there is a designated staff member in each project responsible area, and safety is guaranteed.
Looking at the map, you know that the park is very big. Don't worry at this time. There is a slide on the outside of the Heroes Square. In fact, you don't need to walk. You can go to many places by sliding. The tools for the slideway are all free, and there are many, so you don’t have to wait or queue.
Every area is surrounded by snow, motorcycles, bicycles and so on can be experienced, and it is very safe to have professional protective gear. In addition to adults' play, there is also a children's play area, mainly near the castle slide, and many children are seen playing
ice hot pot
Ice hot pot is simply the best experience I think this time! Eating hot pot on ice is really a special and surprising feeling for hot pot lovers~ I really hate sweating profusely when eating with the hot air conditioner and heating on. The correct way to open hot pot is that it should be eaten in cold weather Does it feel like it's steaming hot?
China's Mazhen really moved the hot pot outdoors, and it was still on ice. The small hot pot is complete with vegetables, meat, fungi, and the spicy small pot bottom and sesame sauce are also delicious. It should be Put some peanut butter on it!

After eating hot pot and playing ice and snow, let me share with you how pleasant it is to watch a performance in a hot theater! When you walk to the exit, you can watch "Full Rhythm Riding the Wind" with great visual effects and the actors' performances are super heartfelt, and a fantasy show on horseback.
There are a total of 5 chapters in Man Yun Riding Wind, no spoilers, it really tells a lot of historical and cultural stories, and there are wonderful and joyful plots. It's really shocking! Be careful not to use the flash when taking pictures
Electronic Music Festival & Fireworks

Hahaha this is the Electronic Music Festival in Mazhen, China, the scene is really exciting!
While bouncing, I thought about it, in such a cold day, after eating big meat, will I lose weight after going out to bouncing? The atmosphere at the scene was really good. I don't know if it is the dopamine produced by the exercise, which makes the mood more pleasant.

Wow, the fireworks were set off, and they lasted for a long time! I am so happy, the fireworks illuminate the night sky of Mazhen, the flashing lights appear and disappear, and a large group of fireworks blooms in the sky. I haven’t been so happy for a long time. I just want to stand like this and feel the beauty brought by this night. !
Tips: After watching the fireworks, you must feel the quiet night view of Ma Town, with ice sculptures and castles.
Bar & KTV
There are still many night entertainment places near the food festival, such as bookstores, bars, and KTV. I feel that this place is also very suitable for family gatherings and group building. I took a few photos and you can feel it:

Early the next morning, after watching the opening ceremony, I couldn't wait to enter the park again. As soon as you enter the gate, you can see all kinds of small horse culture shops on both sides of the road. After looking at the map, there are 46 shops in total, including Yingle Valley, Strange House, Escape Room, Mirror Palace, Blacksmith Shop, Chicken Battlefield, etc. , Here are some interesting or worthwhile places to recommend to everyone!
