Continuing with the self-driving trip in Yunnan, today is our third day in Jianshui, Yunnan, and it is also the day when we leave Jianshui to go to Yunyang to see the terraced fields. In the morning, we went to the ancient city of Jianshui to watch the famous Daban well and the production of Jianshui tofu. Then enter the ancient city of Jianshui from the west gate, and focus on visiting the two national key cultural relics protection units, Jianshui Confucian Temple and Zhujia Garden. It was not until noon that we reluctantly left the ancient city. After eating Chinese food, we drove to Yuanyang, planning to go to Tiger I watched the sunset of the terraced fields at the mouth, and later learned that the tiger’s mouth was temporarily closed and not open to the public, so I retreated to the Bada Observation Deck to watch the sunset of the terraced fields.
From Jianshui to Yuanyang, the whole journey is only more than 120 kilometers, but it took four hours to get there. There are many bends on the road, and there are many large vehicles. I found that there is no place to park the car at the location of the Bada Observation Deck, so I could only slowly move forward with a large amount of traffic, and finally found a roadside where I could park my car two kilometers away.
I thought that the difficulty of parking was already a depressing thing, but when we actually came to the viewing platform, we realized that our ideas were too naive. If we find a place to park, we will definitely be able to find a place to watch the scenery? The answer is yes.
Although we arrived at the viewing platform after five o'clock, when we arrived, we found that the viewing platform was already crowded with tourists, and the inner and outer three floors of the viewing railing were crowded together. Terraced fields are not easy, and it is even more difficult to get a photography position.
Some uncles standing in the front with a seat are all carrying SLRs. It is said that they are a photography group from all over the country. In order to grab a good camera position, they came to the viewing platform to line up under the scorching sun at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. Yes, I stood there for more than five hours at a time. You must know that they are basically old people over 65. This kind of spirit is really admirable.
Do you think you can take good photos with a good location? Don’t think that these old men, who are called old mages, not only have first-class equipment, but also almost the best position, but many of them don’t know much about their cameras. After a while, “Is this okay?” , and after a while, he said, "Is it enough to reduce the exposure a little?", or "Why is there no detail in the sky?"
Since today is Sunday, many people have to go to work tomorrow, so it is definitely not the time when there are the most tourists, but the scene can even be described as a little tricky, not to mention squeezing in to take pictures, it is not easy to walk forward from the viewing platform, really The water is tight.
Yufan saw at the scene that these tourists are mainly elderly people, and their equipment is not bad. The worst is the flagship cameras of Nikon, Canon, and Sony with more than 10,000 yuan, and some even have Hasselblad cameras that start at tens of thousands of yuan. What's more, there is a camera hanging on one shoulder, and both are telephoto, one is Canon, the other is Nikon. You must know that the lenses of these two brands are not compatible. I went up to ask, asked Why does he want a brand to buy one? He said that one is used to shoot people and the other is used to shoot scenery. Well, being rich is capricious.
I really couldn't squeeze in, so my companions had no choice but to raise the drone, wanting to overlook the magnificent landscape of terraced fields from the air. But looking at the terraced fields from a high altitude is not as good as telephoto zoom in. On the contrary, the most exciting part is the crowd on the viewing platform (as shown in the picture above).
Yuanyang Terraced Fields is a spectacle of terraced farming civilization jointly created by the local Hani people of all ethnic groups using the special geographical climate. It is grand in scale and majestic. The terraced fields here vary with the terrain of the mountains. Large fields with gentle slopes are used for reclaiming large fields, small fields with steep slopes are used for small fields, and fields are even opened for rock crevices at the edge of ditches. Therefore, the large terraced fields are several acres, and the small ones are only as big as a dustpan. There are often tens of thousands of acres on one slope.
Yuanyang Terraced Fields is a landscape and pastoral painting that Hani people have been "carving" for more than 1300 years. It was successfully included in the World Heritage List and became the 45th World Heritage Site in China.
However, the experience of visiting Yuanyang just yesterday was not good, and the reception was obviously insufficient, and as far as I know, some of the tourists who came to visit had bought tickets, and some had not bought tickets, and there was no one on site to manage them. People climbed on the railings, and some even climbed to the cliffs and slopes under the viewing fence to visit, which has great safety hazards. Although it reflects the quality of some tourists, it is also caused by insufficient reception capacity. Friendly question, what do you think?
