Our plane landed at Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport on time at 10:35. We took a bus from the airport to Zhangjiajie Bus Station, then transferred to a minibus from downtown Zhangjiajie to Wulingyuan, and arrived at Wulingyuan Bus Station 50 minutes later. We went to the inn to put down our luggage, and we came to the Wulingyuan Sign Gate ticket station in Wulingyuan Scenic Area.

The original plan was to go to the Yuanjiajie Scenic Spot first after going up the mountain, but because today’s visit to Huangshizhai and Jinbianxi consumes a lot of energy, we decided to go back to the inn to rest and play tomorrow. Now the mountain is being demolished, and there are not many inns. The inn we booked is in the old house. When we come out of the Bailong Ladder, we will go directly to Sanchakou Station by car, and then contact the innkeeper to pick us up back to the inn.

After breakfast in the morning, the innkeeper sent us to Sanchakou Station, and then we went to Yangjiajie Scenic Area by car.

Yangjiajie Scenic Area is one of the four core tourist attractions in Zhangjiajie, many of which are related to Yang Jiajiang, with place names such as "Liulang Bay", "Qilang Bay", "Zongbao Bay" and "Tianbo Mansion". The scenic area is full of ravines, long clear streams and dense vegetation. There are not only unique peaks and cliffs, but also streams and waterfalls like flowing green jade, including Wulongzhai, Tianbo Mansion, One Step to the Sky, and Air Corridor.

We got off at Wulongzhai, and then walked along the road for about ten minutes to a fork in the road. To the right is Wulongzhai and Tianbofu, and to the left is Yiyidengtian and Sky Corridor. We went to Wulongzhai and Tianbofu.

Wulongzhai was originally called "Black Dragonzhai", which was occupied by bandits in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China. At the top of Tianbofu Mountain, you have a wide view, and you can have a panoramic view of all kinds of scenery. But to get to Tianbo Mansion, you have to go through a section of steep stairs, with several small viewing platforms in the middle, and finally you have to go through two almost vertical man-made iron ladders to reach the viewing platform of Tianbo Mansion. We didn't go down, but only watched the scenery of Tianbo Mansion from the gaps in the trees on the small viewing platform. The Sky Garden is located on a high mountain surrounded by peaks. It was a field opened up by a farmer for his own food and clothing. Now it has become an Internet celebrity attraction. Standing on the viewing platform, you can see that the countryside is as bright as a mirror, with different colors, in sharp contrast with the surrounding green mountains and green waters, making you feel that this countryside seems to be floating in the air, so they are called " Sky Garden".

The scenic spots in this area are not developed, they were discovered by some donkey friends, so the road here is the kind of country road. Down the path, not far away is the sky garden, and there is a viewing platform built by farmers themselves. On the viewing platform, not only can you clearly see the garden in the sky, but you can also see the Bailong Ladder on the opposite side.

Tianzishan Scenic Area--Airtic Garden

It is a path paved with gravel from the air garden down to the Shenbing Gathering, which is not easy to walk. After walking about 150 meters, we arrived at a viewing platform where the soldiers gathered. Today we originally planned to visit Tianzi Mountain and return to Zhangjiajie City, but when we got up in the morning, we found that the mountain was full of thick fog. The innkeeper said that he might not be able to see a good view today, so he had breakfast at the inn, checked his luggage, and set off with the mood of giving it a try.

Tianzi Mountain is located in the northwest of Wulingyuan, forming a tripartite confrontation with Zhangjiajie Park and Suoxi Valley, especially the sea of clouds, stone waves, winter snow and Xiari. The highest peak, Tianzi Peak, faces north and stands at an altitude of 1260 meters. There are staggered terraces, jagged peaks, shrouded in clouds and mist, and peaks, gorges, waterfalls, and forests are all over thousands of mountains and ravines. There are more than 60 places on the top of the mountain and the terraces on the mountainside, which are staggered and extended, which are natural viewing platforms.

We took the bus at Sanchakou, and told the driver to get off at Shentangwan after getting on the bus.

We waited here for nearly an hour, and the dense fog did not show signs of dissipating, so we had to go back the same way and go to the next scenic spot "Dianjiangtai".

Dianjiangtai is only 200 meters away from Shentang Bay, and it takes more than 10 minutes to walk there.

When we arrived, the fog had just cleared up, and we could see the nearby stone pillars standing in the hazy fog. Dozens of stone pillars look like human figures, the "Emperor" is high in the center, the "herald" in front is reading the imperial decree, the "Left Prime Minister and Right Prime Minister" stand bowed, and the "soldiers" hold their breaths to listen. Legend has it that Xiang Wang once ordered his generals to parade here.

The next stop is Helong Park, 1200 meters from Dianjiangtai to Helong Park, you can take a sightseeing bus. However, a few cars were stopped at the waiting point for sightseeing cars, but they didn't stop because there were no vacant seats, so we had to walk to Helong Park.

He Long Park is located on the left side of the 1,200-meter thousand-layered rock and was built to commemorate He Long. The bronze statue of He Long standing on the "Yunqingyan" in the park is integrated with nature, forming a unique artistic style. This is the largest bronze statue built in my country in the past century.

Stop and go along the way, and walk for about 30 minutes to Helong Park. Entering the park, you will see the statue of He Long head-on, and many people take pictures here. Here, when the weather is good, you can see Yubi Peak, Fairies Scattering Flowers, Warriors Training Horses, etc., but today the surrounding area is covered by thick fog, and there is nothing to see.

I have seen a lot of scenery in Wulingyuan in the past few days, and I feel a little visually tired. We decided to go directly down the mountain and go back to downtown Zhangjiajie. Take the cableway from Tianzi Mountain to the bottom of the mountain for a while, and then take a sightseeing bus to the ticket station of Wulingyuan Sign Gate. Just out of the gate of the scenic spot, I happened to see that the No. 1 bus can go directly to Wulingyuan Bus Station.

It was more than 1 pm from Wulingyuan Bus Station to downtown Zhangjiajie. The car just passed Zhangjiajie Tujia Customs Garden. We decided to go in and get off near Zhangjiajie Tujia Customs Garden.

Zhangjiajie Tujia Customs Park is mainly composed of functional areas such as Tujia architectural complexes, folk customs exhibitions, cultural performances, guest rooms, restaurants, large hunting grounds, rare botanical gardens, and root carving bases. Most of the buildings in the park are of wood and stone structure, with carved beams and painted buildings, resplendent and magnificent, cornices and angles, exquisite and elegant. I found that the weather was still foggy early this morning. I hope the fog on Tianmen Mountain will not be too heavy.

Tianmenshan National Forest Park is located 8 kilometers south of Zhangjiajie City, and is a combination of peaks, stones, springs, streams, clouds and forests. soul". The mountain is shrouded in clouds and mists all the year round, and the scene of the sea of clouds is endlessly changing; among the mountains, melting hills, stone buds are widely distributed, there are many strange rocks, beautiful trees, rare birds and animals, and there are even waterfalls and springs gushing out. The Tianmen Mountain Temple on the top of the mountain is hidden in the green branches and green leaves, which is elegant and quiet. Tianmen Cave and Jiangjun Stone are famous peak forest landscapes.

On the 1,264-meter-high cliff of Tianmen Mountain, there is a natural doorway pierced from north to south, 131.5 meters from the bottom to the top, 37 meters wide and 30 meters deep. At the entrance of Tianmen Cave, you can often see rock swallows flying and mountain eagles circling. As the weather changes, Tianmen Cave sometimes swallows clouds and mist, and sometimes it is clear like a mirror, forming a cyclical and ever-changing meteorological landscape.

In order to reasonably distribute the passenger flow, Tianmen Mountain needs to be entered in different time periods. Tickets for Tianmen Mountain also need to be booked in advance, divided into cableway uphill and car downhill, car uphill cableway downhill and car up and down the mountain for three minutes. The cost of cableway and car is included in the ticket. We booked tickets for the cableway going up and down the mountain from 7:00 to 9:00 in the morning. The cableway station is in the downtown area of Zhangjiajie, not far from our hotel.

Arriving at the cableway company on foot, there are already many tourists waiting to take the cableway up the mountain. It takes more than 40 minutes to take the cableway up the mountain from the cableway station, which is currently the longest cableway in China. Sitting in the carriage, you can see the scenery of the urban area and the mountains in the distance at first. When you approach Tianmen Cave, you can see Tianmen Cave from the side, and you can see Tongtian Avenue halfway up the mountain. But the fog got heavier as we went up, and when we stood up from the cableway, it was already a vast expanse of whiteness, only the whistling wind, and nothing could be seen.

It was originally planned to visit the west line from the cableway station, and then from the east line to Tianmen Cave after arriving at Tianmen Temple, thus forming a tour loop. After waiting at the cableway station for nearly 2 hours, the fog did not dissipate, so we had to stand out from the cableway and wander aimlessly along the trail, with visibility less than 10 meters. On the road, I met a tour guide who said that he took a group to Tianmen Mountain, and 8 out of 10 times on the mountain encountered such weather. Passing the sycamore garden on the way, we could only vaguely see a few sycamore trees nearby. When we reached the entrance of the escalator, we decided not to go any further and went down the mountain directly from here. The escalator is built in the mountain, with a total of 7 sections, and each section runs for about 2 minutes. Coming out of the escalator is Tianmen Cave, but in the thick fog, I didn't feel the height of Tianmen Cave.

Zhaisha Dong Village is located at the foot of the magical Fanjing Mountain, with the clear Taiping River flowing slowly in front of the gate, and towering old trees beside the river. Tickets for Mount Fanjing need to be booked online in advance, and you can enter the mountain at different times. We booked tickets to enter the mountain from 8:00 to 9:00. We lived not far from the entrance of Fanjing Mountain Scenic Area. After breakfast, we set off to the scenic area.

Mount Fanjing is located at the junction of Yinjiang, Jiangkou and Songtao counties in Tongren City, Guizhou, China. It is the main peak of the Wuling Mountains, a spiritual mountain in eastern Guizhou, an ecological kingdom, a scenic spot, and a pure land. The mountains in the whole area are majestic, with overlapping peaks; steep slopes, deep valleys, towering peaks; The fame and development of Mount Fanjing both originated from Buddhism, and the huge temple complexes spread all over Fanjing Mountain, which established the Buddhist status of Mount Fanjing as the famous "Ancient Buddha Temple". To enter the scenic spot, you must first take a sightseeing car to the cableway station, then take the cableway up the mountain, and then walk to various scenic spots. When we arrived at the cableway station, we found that there was a long queue of people waiting to go up the mountain. After queuing for about 20 minutes, we took the cableway up the mountain. After leaving the cableway station, I found that the mountain was covered with fog and I couldn't see anything clearly. But now that we have come, we decided to go up the mountain to have a look.

Along the walking plank road, the first thing you arrive at is Mushroom Stone. Mushroom Stone is a famous landscape, with a big top and a small bottom, about ten meters high. It has stood on the mountain for 1 billion years, and it is a holy place for taking pictures. But at this time, the Mushroom Stone was hidden in the thick fog, and many people took pictures here. We did not stop and continued to climb to the old Jinding.

There is a viewing platform going up from Mushroom Stone. When we arrived at the viewing platform, the clouds and mist dissipated slightly, and we could vaguely see the distant mountains. There is still about 200 meters away from the old Golden Summit. When you meet some tourists who come down from above, you will be pleasantly surprised. Driven by curiosity, we continued to climb up. The old Jinding is 2494 meters above sea level, and there is a burning lamp hall on it. The top of the mountain is shrouded in clouds and mist, and the mist is blown away by gusts of mountain wind. The red cloud and golden summit on the opposite side and the distant mountains appear and disappear in the clouds and mist.

The peak of Hongyun Jinding stands at a height of 100 meters, the upper part is divided into two parts, and the two ends are connected by a bridge. There is a temple on each side, one side is dedicated to Sakyamuni Buddha and the other side is dedicated to Maitreya Buddha. Hongyun Ruiqi often surrounds it, which is called Hongyun Jinding, which is harmonious with "Hongyun Jinding". It looks like a flying dragon swimming in the sky, like a bergamot two-finger meditation, and more like a human life totem. According to its shape, it is also called "the first peak in the world".

This time I planned to go to Hongyun Jinding, but Hongyun Jinding is under maintenance and is not open to tourists, so I can only stand on the old Jinding and look at it from a distance.

From Guiyang to Libo, you can take cars, trains and planes. Cars and trains take a long time. We caught up with the discounted air tickets this time, so we chose to take a plane to Libo. The plane arrived at Libo Airport in 40 minutes, and took a bus from the airport to the east gate of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. Before I came here, I was worried about the inconvenience of taking a car from the airport to the scenic spot. Only when I came here did I know that the airport bus here is scheduled according to the flight schedule, so it is still very convenient.

Tickets for scenic spots include Daqikong Scenic Spot and Xiaoqikong Scenic Spot, valid for two days. Wolongtan, formerly known as Wenglongtan, is the outlet of Wolong River, a karst underground river. The dark river gushes out from the bottom of the cliff, and there is no trace on the surface of the pool. Only the avalanche-like waterfall on the dam can feel the Wolong River stirring at the bottom of the pool. There are strange rocks and strange trees beside the pool, dense ancient trees, roaring water outside the pool, misty and rainy, surrounded by high mountains, and the pool is like an underground abyss.

The water in Wolongtan is intoxicatingly green, the white clouds in the sky, the peaks and trees on the shore are reflected in the clear water, like an oil painting.

Huangguoshu Scenic Area is located in the southwest of Guizhou Province. It is composed of 18 large and small waterfalls with different styles. It is a typical karst area with beautiful scenery, mild climate and abundant rainfall. It is a national key scenic spot. The scenic area is composed of Huangguoshu Waterfall, Doupotang Waterfall and Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area, forming a huge waterfall "family" and "group" of waterfalls, among which Huangguoshu Waterfall is the most beautiful and spectacular.

You can go to various scenic spots by bus from the visitor center. Since the light is better in the afternoon and to avoid crowds, we first choose to go to the Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Spot.

Huangguoshu Waterfall is the core scenic spot of Huangguoshu Scenic Area. It is 77.8 meters high and 101.0 meters wide. It is a typical waterfall in the karst landform. It is the largest waterfall in China and one of the famous waterfalls in the world.

To enter the scenic spot, you have to pass through a bonsai garden before you can see the big waterfall. Before reaching the waterfall, I heard the deafening sound of water. When I got closer, I saw a water curtain with a width of 100 meters pouring down from a height of tens of meters. . Fortunately, we saw a rainbow in the mist.

Huangguoshu Waterfall is the only waterfall in the world that can be viewed from six directions: up, down, left, right, front, and back. After going around the waterfall and admiring the waterfall from different angles, we drove to Doupotang Waterfall.

Doupotang Waterfall is located 1 km upstream of Huangguoshu Waterfall in Guizhou Province. The top of the waterfall is 105 meters wide and 21 meters high. It is the widest waterfall among the Huangguoshu Waterfalls. On the top of Doupotang Waterfall is a huge melting pool with an area of 15,000 square meters, and the waterfall is formed on a calcified beach dam that is more than 100 meters long. The water layer of the waterfall spreads evenly along the gentle waterfall surface, dancing lightly on the scaled travertine beach surface, like a thin, translucent veil, or like plain silk stretched out one by one. The fan surface glows silver in the sun, so some people jokingly call it "bridal veil". The scenic spot of Doupotang Waterfall is not big, and you can come to the waterfall within a few minutes after entering the scenic spot. Although Doupotang Waterfall is not as high as the Great Falls, its width exceeds that of the Great Falls. The water layer flows down like a gauze, splashing water droplets like pearls. Going forward from Tianxing Cave, you will arrive at the essence of Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area - Yinlian Zhuitan. Above is a calm pool. The water passes through a cliff. It was still early, so I was wandering in the commercial street and found that the other side of the commercial street was Gao Laozhuang. Today I will take the afternoon train to Maitreya to soak in the hot springs. I heard that there is a stone village near Huangguoshu. The houses and living utensils are all built of stones. I decided to go to Dingshitou village in the morning.

Huangguoshu Shitou Village is a Buyi cottage in Biandan Mountain, surrounded by mountains and rivers, surrounded by beautiful mountains, fields in front of the village, green trees behind the village, and the winding Baishui River passing by.

From Huangguoshu Town to Shitouzhai, you can take an electric tricycle. The driver will send us to Shitouzhaikou, and promise to call him when we go back, and he will pick us up. When I got here, I found that most of the houses in the village have been rebuilt, but they are similar in appearance. In fact, there are not many stone houses left. On the way, I met an old lady who enthusiastically led us to find a few surviving stone houses on the mountainside. The most distinctive feature is that the roof of the stone house is made of stacked stone flakes. From the outside, there is no gap between the layers of stone flakes. From the inside, the roof is shining with dots of light. There are some living utensils such as stone jars and stone basins that are still in use in the house.

During the conversation, I learned that the old grandmother is a local inheritor of batik skills and a winner of the National May 1st Labor Medal. After returning from Shitouzhai, we took a bus to Anshun West Railway Station, and from here we took a train to Maitreya via Kunming. When transferring at Kunming Railway Station, if the next departure time interval is within 40 minutes, there is no need to leave the station, and you can transfer directly at the station.

Maitreya is rich in geothermal resources, especially Xiaoqintian Hot Spring in the northeast of the city, Meihua Hot Spring in the west of the city, and Xiaozhai Hot Spring in the south of the city.

Shede Grassland is located in the northwest of Qiubei County, and is mainly famous for its grasslands and plateau scenery. The mountain is covered by virgin forests and towering ancient trees. Although the 100,000 mu grassland is not as vast as the grasslands of Inner Mongolia, it does not lose the unique taste of grasslands. It was already noon when the train arrived in Kunming, and the flight we booked was after 8:00 pm. After we deposited our luggage, we drove to Guandu Ancient Town.

Located in the south of Kunming City, Guandu Ancient Town is a famous historical and cultural town and one of the birthplaces of ancient Dian culture. Historically, Guandu was an important ferry for boats in Dianchi Lake, and also a market town with relatively developed politics, economy, and culture on the main road leading to southern Yunnan. It was called "Little Yunnan" in Ming and Qing Dynasties.

The current Guandu Ancient Town has a strong commercial atmosphere, and the entire ancient town has been transformed into a commercial street. Only a few temples remain in the middle of the town.
