Because of work projects, I have been to almost every city in Guizhou. I deeply feel that Guizhou is a beautiful place with many unique landscapes and customs. However, it is a pity that the development of tourism resources in Guizhou is not as good as Compared with Yunnan, it is too far behind. Sometimes we simply attribute it to the lack of development of tourism resources. This time in Chishui and Moutai for a few days, I really found that almost every scenic spot we went to has a very good hardware construction and many details are very good, such as the stools for rest along the scenic spot , Wipe clean in rainy weather, signs along the way, WIFI coverage of scenic spots, toilet configuration and so on. And what shocked me the most was starting from Chishui, along the so-called 30-mile Riverside Avenue, the navigation showed that it was the Chishui River Valley Tourist Highway, the scenery was beautiful, the tall bamboos meandered down to become a bamboo-shaded tunnel, and the roadside was actually a long road The bicycle greenway, following the road winding mountain and building bridges, at least we drove to Tucheng stretching dozens of kilometers are greenways! There are constantly bicycle rest stations along the way. This kind of tourism hardware configuration is already in place. In addition, the price of commodities in the scenic spot is much cheaper than that in Sichuan, and it is more conscientious than some famous scenic spots in Yunnan! It is a pity that Guizhou's tourism promotion is really lagging behind.
The starting point for this itinerary is very simple, because we never go to traffic jams to join in the fun during the big holiday, but the old people at home still want to go out for a walk, so I decided to wait until the big holiday is over, and take the old man to start, plus 2 I went to Maotai Town a few months ago, and I was deeply impressed by the night view here, how brilliant it is! My father-in-law loves wine very much, and I heard that Chishui actually has a lot of good scenery. Thinking that it is not far from Chengdu, I set off.
Friends who know me know that I am a person who hates self-driving very much. I personally dislike driving for more than 2 hours. Many friends explained to me the fun of self-driving. In fact, I think there may be a misunderstanding here. I don’t like self-driving, but it doesn’t mean that I don’t travel by car. I just can’t accept the waste of time and cost of driving from home. Personal travel options are different, just talk about it.
My wife and I, with my parents, parents-in-law, and my wife's brother and sister-in-law, a group of 8 people and two cars, set off on October 14 and returned to Chengdu on October 17.
Another point of this trip is that I have been busy before, so I don’t know what attractions are in Chishui and which ones I choose to play. They are all homework entrusted to my father, so it can be said to be a kind of take away. , just came back, I have some ideas to share with you.
We originally planned to set off at 9 am, but there were many elderly people. Everyone understood that we didn't start until about 10 am.
Departure at 10:00 am on the first day, Chishui is only 290 KM away from Chengdu Expressway, and the journey takes about 3 hours. We had lunch in Chishui City, and it was already 3:30 pm when we arrived at the first destination, Chishui Waterfall. Yes, after playing the Great Falls, go directly back to the hotel to check in.
The next day, Hongshiyegu in the morning, Sidonggou in the afternoon, and then go to Datong Ancient Town, and it was almost 5 o'clock in the afternoon before arriving at the ancient town.
On the third day, Bing'an Ancient Town in the morning, lunch in the ancient town at noon, Foguangyan in the afternoon, then Tucheng, Sidu Chishui Memorial Hall, and finally arrived at Maotai Town at close to 20 o'clock in the evening.
On the fourth day, I went to Moutai again in the morning, left at 11 o'clock, took a simple lunch at the rest stop on the highway, and returned to Chengdu at 18 o'clock. I encountered a sad reminder that my car was restricted...
Here, friendship, solemnly remind friends! If you want to refer to my itinerary, because I have been a "guinea pig", the suggestions are as follows:
On the first day, start early, before 9:00, you can reach the Chishui Waterfall very early. The waterfall will not take much time. On the return journey, the waterfall is only a few kilometers away from the ancient town of Bing'an, so visit the ancient town of Bing'an, and then return to Chishui to rest.
The next day, Hongshiyegu, Sidonggou, and Datong Ancient Town are the same as us, OK.
On the third day, go directly to Foguangyan, you can go there at high speed (we all take the tourist road, the scenery is good, the speed limit is 60), after visiting Foguangyan, go directly to Maotai at high speed. In this way, you can go to Maotai basically at 2 or 3 in the afternoon, visit Maotai all afternoon, and watch the light show of Maotai Town at 20:30 in the evening (we arrived at 20:00 this time, and we were in a hurry to have dinner, but we didn’t see it), our Maotai The town is very busy, and according to this itinerary, it will be more than enough.
Day 4: Leave Moutai in the morning, go to Tucheng at high speed, visit Tucheng Ancient Town and Sidu Chishui Memorial Hall, have dinner in Tucheng at noon, and return in the afternoon easily!
In addition, I would like to explain that there are many tourist resources in Chishui. If you want to play it seriously, you can finish it in 3 or 4 days. Day 1 October 14
Starting in the morning, there was a small episode in the middle, because my father said that there are more than one Chishui Waterfall, and netizens said that the best one is the Shizhangdong Waterfall. In the end, we didn’t know whether the navigation was Shizhangdong or the Great Waterfall. Chishui Visitor Center, I wanted to find out where to go, but when I got off the expressway, my wife had Dianping. I found a high-rated bean curd noodle and went to the city to find something to eat. Then the store closed, so I found a small one nearby. Shop, who knew the taste was very good, I ate two plates of bacon, and I ate the tube bamboo shoots every day, and the fresh bamboo shoots are also a must every day!
It was not until I arrived at the Great Waterfall that I realized that the so-called several waterfalls are now combined together, which is the Chishui Great Waterfall. It's just that the car has to be parked in a parking lot on the mountain that is 1KM away from the scenic spot, and we take a free shuttle bus to the scenic spot. When we arrived at 3:30 in the afternoon, the shuttle bus that picked us up said it was the last bus. not much.
Tickets for the Great Falls are 90 yuan, free for seniors over 70 years old, check-in between 60-70 (please bring your ID card), 20 yuan for a round-trip sightseeing car in the scenic area, I want to explain a little more, because we have 4 elderly people, I My parents are in good health, my father-in-law is too old to travel far, and my mother-in-law has had surgery on her legs and cannot climb hills for a long time, so we have to choose those who have sightseeing cars. The most important thing is that the sightseeing bus arrived near the scenic spot of the Great Falls, and there was an elevator directly to the foot of the Great Falls, so we walked down the mountain. My wife cooperated with her parents to take the elevator, 40 yuan per person. In other words, this attraction, the elderly are no problem!
The way down the mountain is a bit steep, and the elderly with inconvenient legs and feet are advised to take the elevator.
Great Falls, how should I put it, it’s okay, not as shocking as I imagined, especially when my wife and I went to Niagara Falls in May, haha. Also, I only found out in the next few days that Chishui is known as the city of thousands of waterfalls. There are waterfalls everywhere in the mountains along the way, and waterfalls are scattered in various scenic spots. Although those waterfalls are not as big as here, the scenery is very beautiful. The conclusion is that the 90 yuan is not worth it. If I had known that I would go to other scenic spots to see the waterfall, I would not come here, haha.
The feeling given to us by the Great Falls is not as strong as the feeling given to us by the Danxia style at the entrance!
Here is just a reminder. The sightseeing car goes directly to the last big waterfall. On the return trip, we go directly to the gate. In fact, there are several scenic spots in the middle, including the Beauty Comb Waterfall. Staying here, after spending such an expensive ticket, I want to watch it all. In fact, it was mainly because we arrived a little late and didn't want to delay, so we only saw the Great Falls.
Here I want to talk a little bit about the hotel we stayed in Chishui. I used Ctrip to choose a hotel before. To be honest, I was not very satisfied with the hotels in the entire Chishui city. Anyway, many of the so-called cost-effective reviews had various problems. I accidentally saw the "Holy Land Chishui Peninsula Hotel". No, it's behind the visitor center, a few kilometers away from the city, so it's inconvenient to eat and go shopping. Later, I decided to choose this place. After all, I have a car, so I'm not afraid. Before going, I thought that this is a hotel in a remote mountainous area, and we booked 4 so-called special rooms at 368 yuan a night. After we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised! This is an experience where the seller show and the buyer show are completely reversed. The picture of the room on Ctrip is indeed a "special price room". I found out on the spot that the hotel is beautiful and great value! Absolute price-performance ratio, and the room facilities are very good, the grade is very high, completely surpassing the countless sellers! In short, I strongly recommend friends who choose to live here by car, the breakfast is also very good, there are special noodles, and the environment is very beautiful and peaceful!
Checking in at the hotel, my wife Dianping saw a restaurant with the highest rating in Chishui, "There is nothing to hide from the world". It is just by the river. After a few minutes past the hotel, I navigated there.
They are all simple special dishes. We still chose the same bacon, tube bamboo shoots, bamboo shoots, and black bean curd as at noon. Other dishes are so-so, but the bean curd here is worth recommending, because it is not ordinary bean curd, it is boiled with walnut and sesame soup, drink a bowl of walnut juice before eating, it is very special. The 8 of us ate a total of about 180 yuan, which was the cheapest meal in the past few days. The other meals were also at the level of 200 yuan. The charges for the entire Chishui tourist attraction are very reasonable.

Day 2 October 15th
Our hotel is just behind the tourist center. My father said that he saw on the Internet that Chishui has a combined ticket for the scenic spot, and it was cheaper to buy it together. He went to consult and got two pieces of information:
One is that the joint ticket is only based on the line of Great Falls, and there are no other places we are going to go today. One is that the Hongshiye Valley we are going to visit in the morning is privately developed, and it is not within the scope of their management and recommendation.
We were still a little worried at the time. Is it not good to develop it privately? Facts have proved that our worries were unnecessary. At least we like this scenic spot very much, and the scenery is also very distinctive. The ticket is 30 yuan, which is very gentle. From the gate to the last scenic spot, the distance is not too far. My mother-in-law climbed up, but my father-in-law couldn't walk, so he simply waited for us at the bottom of the mountain. There is a "sliding pole" in the scenic area that can take the elderly up and down, and interested friends can consider it.
In fact, the funniest thing about this scenic spot is that it is indeed a private development, not a very "formal" scenic spot, because the final big landscape is on top of a few farmers' houses with a road next to it. I really know people or It's completely free if you directly find a farmer friend, hehe.
On this day, here, when we came, there were almost no one, and the venue was reserved!
On the way up the mountain, the scenery is good. The biggest difference between the Danxia landscape at the end and those of other Buddha Light Rocks is that you can "play" at close range.
This scenic spot also has a very unique facility, that is, if you don’t want to walk back along the road, there is actually a 680-meter-long slide that you can slide down directly. It is safe and risk-free. You can try it, fun, and heart-beating!
After visiting the scenic spot, it was also noon, and we had lunch directly at the farmhouse at the gate of the scenic spot. It was still those traditional dishes, which tasted really good, all kinds of wild mushrooms, black bean curd, and bacon.
The second scenic spot, Sidonggou, is very good. The so-called Sidonggou is actually four waterfalls. The valley shows that this is a valley with a flat terrain. Almost only the last waterfall has a small hillside to climb. The old people can play all the way without stress! Recommended!
In fact, all tickets, Dianping, Meituan and Ctrip have some discounts, you can buy them in advance, just pick them up from the ticket machine here. It’s just that there are only 4 of us with full tickets, and I only came home from a business trip the night before departure, so I don’t want to do these homework. We still bought a sightseeing bus, but my parents-in-law went back and forth, and the other 6 of us went one-way, because the sightseeing bus drove until between the 2nd and 3rd holes, so they went back directly after watching the 3rd hole and rested, we After watching holes 3 and 4, instead of taking a sightseeing bus, watch holes 1 and 2 on foot. This scenic spot also has a very good planning and design of the scenic spot, that is, the road of the entire scenic spot is a complete circle, one side is a sightseeing driveway, and the other side is a walking path. Sidonggou was delayed longer than expected. We arrived at Datong Ancient Town at around 5:00 pm. Unexpectedly, the ticket office was closed. What a joy!
In fact, the ancient town and the road next to it are together. People who really understand can get off the ancient town at the intersection from the road next to it. Sometimes I feel that these tickets are a bit far-fetched and boring. Anyway, we toured the ancient town for free.
Basically, we reserved the venue. It was too late, the tourists had left, and there were many people in the ancient town. Moreover, there is basically no commercial taste, and everything is very original. During the walk, the residents' dinner is over, and everyone chats at their respective doors, which feels very harmonious.
When we came out of the ancient town, it was already dark, so we found a restaurant by the road next to the ancient town for dinner, and went back to the Peninsula Hotel to rest.
Day 3 October 16
After checking out of the hotel, go directly to Bing’an Ancient Town. Many friends in the circle of friends recommend Bing’an Ancient Town. I personally feel that there is something different here, that is, there are more red elements. The stilted buildings by the river are very flavorful. In fact, I really want to find a stilted building. For lunch, sorry.
Friends, do you still remember that when I said I went to Datong Ancient Town, the ticket sellers over there got off work. In fact, you don’t need to buy tickets to enter the ancient town in other places? At the head of the Iron Chain Bridge in Bing’an Ancient Town, because I arrived first and others went to the toilet, the ticket seller at the bridge stopped me and bought a ticket, so I bought 4 full tickets and one half ticket. I was waiting for other people to come, because the old man took a long time to go to the toilet. I waited for about 15 minutes. A bunch of people were town residents, and no one stopped them. A group of people were tourists but spoke Guizhou dialect. When they were stopped When I went in to participate in the event, no one stopped me. The group also spoke the local language. They said that the tickets were in the hands of the people behind, but no one stopped me. As for where the people behind me were, I didn’t wait. Anyway, I was here for 15 minutes. We are The only one who bought tickets! The ticket sales system in this ancient town is really boring. Especially when I later found out that at the other end of the ancient town, if you pass through another highway bridge, you probably don’t need to buy a ticket. Hey, why bother!
From Chishui to Maotai, in the general direction, Bing'an Ancient Town and Foguangyan are a line, about 20 kilometers, along the beautiful Chishui River Valley, walking through the shade of bamboo.
Foguangyan, there is no way, neither my parents-in-law can go up, in fact, it is not far, the road in the scenic spot is 1.5k in total, my parents-in-law did not go in, rest at the door, my parents are OK.
The most magnificent side of Danxia is here, but unfortunately, the camera cannot show what the naked eye sees, only the friends can feel it for themselves!

It was already past 4:00 pm when we left Foguangyan, what a mistake! We were originally interested in the Battle of Zhongtucheng in the Long March. This was a small failure of the Red Army’s intelligence error, which also led to the beginning of crossing Chishui four times. So I navigated to Qinggangpo, the site of the battle. There seemed to be a monument there, and I wanted to go. Then go straight to Maotai. The navigation made us leave the Chishui River Valley Tourist Highway and get on the expressway. We thought it was only a dozen kilometers to the Tucheng Highway. It was unnecessary, so we drove directly along the highway. The magic is that after the past yaw, the navigation will re-plan, but this time I drove a long distance, the navigation kept calling me to turn around, until we arrived at Tucheng, and then I knew that to get the ruins, the only way to go there is to go there , there is a road closure ahead, so you can't get through. But it’s just right, Tucheng has a memorial hall for crossing Chishui four times. It’s free to visit, and there are explanations. To be honest, the meaning is better than going to that desolate ruins. Moreover, the old people like this memorial hall very much!
After leaving Tucheng, we quickly got on the expressway and went straight to Maotai.
There is Moutai International Hotel in Moutai, a five-star hotel built by Moutai Group, but it was full at the time I booked. A customer recommended Yangliuwan Inn, which was also full. Later, the third choice was Maotai Renjia Culture Inn, because I went to Maotai to get the business card here, and directly contacted the marketing manager to book a room.
Friendly reminder, navigation, going to this inn, there will be problems. Fortunately, I know that this inn has a parking lot. I saw the sign on the road, drove in directly, followed the navigation, and had to go around 1KM. I couldn’t get there at all. PARKING LOT.
Arrived at the inn, settled in, it was almost 20 o'clock in the evening, I know that the light show by the Chishui River around 20:30 is good, but the old people have to eat first, so they can only find a random store, and the light show cannot be seen.
It’s almost 10 o’clock after dinner. The night view of Moutai is to go to the opposite side of the town to see it. My parents-in-law can’t walk, so I go back to rest. My parents take a walk by themselves. The four of us follow me. After a lap, I felt the invincible night view of Moutai. This town has nothing but money, haha, just kidding.
This kind of shocking night view of an ancient town is not found in other small towns in China.

Strolling around the ancient town during the day, there are almost no tourists and it is very quiet.
To sum up, this route is very close to Chengdu, and 4 days is enough time. It is suitable for all ages. The dining taste of the entire Chishui Moutai area is very suitable for Sichuanese, and the food is not expensive.
