Huawei's Hongmeng system has been so popular recently. It can even be said that in the history of smartphone development, it is the only operating system that has received such high attention. Especially the huge number of Huawei users are full of expectations for the Hongmeng system. On the day when the official version of the Hongmeng system was unveiled, I happened to be traveling in Guizhou, and I saw two world-class wonders made in China in one day, which made me very proud.

Due to various reasons, I missed the big and small seven holes in Qiannan, Guizhou. I started from Libo as planned and continued the self-driving tour. The next stop was Pingtang. When it comes to Pingtang, it is estimated that many friends who like to travel or know geography will guess what I said, what are the two world-class Chinese manufacturing.

That's right, one is the Pingtang Super Bridge, known as the "Bridge of the Sky", and the other is the world's largest single-aperture radio telescope, the Sky Eye. To be honest, I think these two are much more powerful than Hongmeng. why?

Many people's impression of Guizhou is that "the land is not three feet flat, and the sky is not sunny for three days". Although it is somewhat exaggerated, it is basically true. When I really held the steering wheel in Qiannan Prefecture for a self-driving tour, I felt that the expressways here are really awesome. I can sum it up in 12 words-opening roads when encountering mountains, building bridges when encountering waters, extending in all directions. There are countless tunnels and bridges along the way. As the only province in China that does not have plains, Guizhou has a total of more than 20,000 bridges, and the best of these bridges is the Pingtang Super Bridge, which is worth talking about.

The Pingtang Super Bridge is on the Pingluo Expressway. Ping refers to Pingtang, and Luo refers to Luodian. Don't look at this expressway is only more than 90 kilometers, but bridges and tunnels account for half of it. Even so, there was nothing special about this expressway originally, but since the opening of the Pingtang Super Bridge in 2019, this road has become extraordinary.

Do you have to pay a toll for driving into a service area on the highway? This is quite new, isn't it? The Sky Bridge sightseeing service area is such a unique existence. Even so, many passing vehicles still drive in specifically to see the magnificence of the "Sky Bridge". Therefore, this sightseeing service area is also very special. It not only has a commercial area, but also a hotel, and a huge sightseeing platform.

The three bridge towers of the Pingtang Super Bridge with a total length of more than 2,000 meters are precisely these three "huge nails" that support the bridge body across the valley. Especially the bridge tower in the middle, with a height of 332 meters, makes it the tallest concrete tower among bridges in the world. Not to mention how spectacular the scene in front of you is, is it unbelievable when you think about the difficulty of this construction?

It is said that there are often clouds and mist in the valley, and I am also very curious about what kind of landscape it is. When I saw it with my own eyes, I finally understood the true meaning of "Sky Bridge". The air humidity here is very high, which makes the bridge always hidden in the white clouds. Only when a gust of wind blows, can the towering bridge tower be vaguely seen.

No wonder so many people come here specially for this proud Chinese-made sky bridge!

To be honest, driving across the bridge doesn't look as stunning from a distance. Not long after moving on, another world-class Chinese manufacturing company was waiting for me. I could tell by the name of the toll booth—the Sky Eye had arrived.

China Sky Eye is a 500-meter-aperture spherical radio telescope capable of capturing cosmic signals 13.7 billion light-years away. Because the world's only second sky eye, the American sky eye Arecibo radio telescope with a diameter of 350 meters in Puerto Rico, has been damaged. Therefore, the Chinese Sky Eye can be said to be the only "eye" on the earth at present.

If you want to see the Chinese Sky Eye, you have to go to Tianwen Town and take a bus there. In fact, the town itself is very interesting, much like an astronomical science trip. Here you can learn about the universe, about China's Sky Eye, and about Nan Rendong, the initiator of China's Sky Eye. It is recommended to go to the International Astronomical Experience Hall and the Nanrendong Stories Hall before going to the Sky Eye, so that you can better understand what the Sky Eye is.

Many people say that the Chinese Sky Eye cannot take pictures, yes, but this is not because of how secret it is, but because of its own attributes. China Tianyan's full name is China Tianyan Science Popularization Base. It is a place for popular science and research. It's not that you can't take pictures, but it refuses the use of all electronic equipment. It is worth mentioning that there are film cameras for tourists to take pictures.

When I climbed the 789 steps and came to the viewing platform to have a panoramic view of the Chinese Sky Eye, I only had the word shock in my heart. As a world-class national important weapon, we did not use it as a secret base, but opened our minds to the whole world, accepting observation applications from scientists from any country. Perhaps, this is the starting point for us to establish contact with extraterrestrial civilizations.

From high-speed rail and 5G, to Sky Bridge and China Sky Eye, to vaccines and Hongmeng, Chinese manufacturing and Chinese speed all reflect the prosperity of the motherland. And these technologies and facilities are closely related to our lives. People can't help but marvel at the sparkle of Chinese wisdom and feel proud.
