In order to save some airfare, we flew to Lanzhou and then transferred to Xining. It is recommended to fly directly to Xining. One morning is enough time to visit a scenic spot. Of course, if you really want to eat a bowl of ramen in Lanzhou, it’s okay to spend an extra morning driving around. You can see the magnificent landforms of the northwest on the high-speed rail.
The sky in Lanzhou is very close and very quiet.

6.5 Accommodation in Xining

After eating something at noon, I fell asleep until 8:30 in the evening. I woke up hungry and found that it was dawn. I couldn’t tell whether it was night or morning. I went out to look for food at night, but most of them were closed, and I finally found a Sichuan restaurant. Unfortunately, my baby’s stomach was not up to par, so I could only drink fermented glutinous rice soup to warm up. The friends who were traveling with me thought this dish was good, and it was diagonally opposite Wangfujing. Later, the master told us that people in Xining are not very good at cooking, so they go to Sichuan restaurants if they want to eat.

6.6 Set off to the Qilian Mountains

6.8 Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes + Mingsha Mountain
The performance of Mogao Grottoes needs to be booked in advance, the schedule is too rushed, we set the earliest 7 o'clock show.

Fortunately, the people of Dunhuang have long since realized the strangeness. Both the master and the proprietress said that they can drive, so we went straight to Mogao Grottoes without any hindrance.
