There is a child in everyone's heart
Every child has a fairy tale dream
About wooden houses, snowy mountains, forests, clouds and waterfalls
Because of such a dream, the seven huts facing the Baoding Snow Mountain in Shangnami Village, Songpan, at an altitude of 3,200 meters, were conceived.
August is the best time in Aba Prefecture. In this warm and quiet place, you can put aside the bits and pieces of life and take a closer look at the snow and ice in the forest. Yunjuanyunshu
"Light and Clouds"
Shangnami Village, Daxing Township, Songfan County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province, is a small village of Amdo Tibetans. This place is called "Switzerland in the East", and a tree house homestay called "Light and Cloud" was conceived here.
Light and clouds, the name of the homestay has summed up all the essence in one sentence. Here, the unreachable light, clouds and snow-capped mountains seem to be within reach in an instant.
The landscape resources in the village are very rich, including snow mountains, forests, Haizi (alpine lakes), grasslands and so on. A river formed by melting snow from the high mountains runs through the whole village and is one of the sources of the Minjiang River.
There are a total of 52 households of Tibetans in Upper Nami Village, which are scattered in the valley along the river. The base is located in the middle of the village, facing the snow-capped mountains, with a large pasture in front of the gate and a river passing by.
This is a land of impeccable beauty, with snow-capped mountains in the distance, virgin forests, herds of cows and horses everywhere, and alpine lakes. Whether it is mountain climbing or hiking, horseback riding can be realized here, and you can choose.
When you come by car, you have to drive a section of the original stone path, and it is still one-way. Come all the way and pray that there will be no turning back. If there is a car, you have to back up and give way.
But the scenery will surprise you even more. It is really that the eyes are in heaven and the body is in hell.
Seven tree houses are scattered around the pasture, with a total area of about 270 square meters. The forest tree house is an irregular polyhedron, and the traditional Tibetan residence incorporates muji-style decoration. Compared with Tibetan hotels, it looks fresher and more comfortable. It seems to be another home for you under the snow-capped mountains.
Elf tree house under the snow mountain
The B&B is divided into forest huts and annexes. There are not many rooms, a total of 12 rooms, including 7 tree houses, which can accommodate 2-4 people. They are in the form of lofts. Service functions such as restaurants and kitchens.
The interior of the room is mainly made of wooden furniture, which is comfortable and simple. The side of the room facing the snow-capped mountains and the lawn has large floor-to-ceiling windows, and there is a small courtyard outside the room.
Looking at the cattle and sheep grazing outside, the mighty snow-capped mountains in the distance, and the slow-moving clouds... I also had an afternoon tea delivered by the hotel.
The winter homestay is even more surprising. During the day, we build snowmen outside to play, and go to the forest to see frozen waterfalls.
Or sit in a wooden house, drink hot tea, chat with others or be in a daze, and there are numerous snowflakes outside the window.
At night, except for the snow scene, dancing or chatting around the bonfire, you may meet the bright moonlight, reflected on the snow, quiet and gentle, just imagine, it is a beautiful scene.
The tree house is facing the snow-capped mountains or grassland, so the whole glass doors and windows are designed on the front to bring the scenery into the room. Sitting on the sofa in the living room, you can see the Xuebaoding in the distance!
Unexpected ultimate experience!
The cost of booking a room also includes breakfast and afternoon tea, forest hiking accompanied by a personal butler, waterfall visits and Tibetan home visits.
The B&B restaurant is located in the annex building. The menu is jointly developed by the hotel chef and the Michelin star chef, integrating the local natural environment, snow mountain fish, mushrooms, yak meat...
There are Tibetan and Chinese breakfast options for breakfast, which are very rich. The local special Tibetan dishes such as yak steak and snow mountain fish are worth trying, and many of the ingredients are grown by the hotel itself and picked around.
In addition to experiencing the beautiful scenery of the tree house here, you can also experience the simple local Tibetan cultural customs. You can make an appointment for hiking time when you check in. The hiking time is not long, about two hours.
The scenery along the way is very beautiful. There are small streams and wooden bridges, and you can also encounter icicles that have not yet melted. Friends who are worried about their physical strength can also choose to ride horses (additional charges).
