Lugu Lake has always been a place of longing and longing. It is located at the junction of Ninglang County, Yunnan Province and Yanyuan County, Sichuan Province. The east of the lake is Luguhu Town in Yanyuan County, and the west of the lake is Yongning Township, Ninglang County. Lugu Lake is a tributary of the Jinsha River in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. The Litang River system, a tributary of the Longjiang River.
The trip finally took place on July 5, 2022. It flew from Tianjin Airport to Yunnan Ninglang Airport in the early morning, and stopped in Wuhan for 3 hours.
Although I have been to Yunnan many times, I am still shocked to set foot on the land of Yunnan again this time!
Overlooking the mountains from the plane, the meandering Jinsha River is clearly visible:
Finally arrived at Lijiang Ninglang Airport at 3:00 p.m.~
Blue sky and white clouds, look how beautiful the sky at the airport is~
It takes more than an hour to take a bus from the airport to Lugu Lake, and the fare is about 40. The scenery along the way is picturesque:
Finally set foot on this magical land at 5 pm, the scenery is indeed extraordinary!
I booked a lake view room in advance, put down my luggage and went straight to the lake, haha, this is the view at the entrance of the hotel, isn’t it like a fairyland?
Lugu Lake is about 2,600 meters above sea level. The Yunnan part belongs to Ninglang County of Lijiang, and the Sichuan part belongs to Yanyuan County of Xichang.
This time I lived in Daluoshui Village, Yunnan for 3 days, and in Sichuan for 3 days. It can be said that I have traveled almost every corner of Lugu Lake~
The environment of Daluoshui Village is both primitive and elegant, exuding a charming atmosphere everywhere. Even the hydrangeas in Lugu Lake are so beautiful:
The Mosuo people live by the lake on the Yunnan side, and Lugu Lake is also known as the "Oriental Daughter Country".
The bar player and singer in the center of Daluoshui Village has dark skin and devotes himself to singing every day:
For dinner, I ate straw hat fish from a popular restaurant in Daluoshui Village. The taste is super delicious, and the fish soup is milky white. This fish soup is still fresh in my memory~
On the second day, we took a pig trough boat to tour the lake. The small white flowers on the lake are the famous watery flowers!
From June to August every year, watery flowers bloom in the lake. The flowers are as white as ice and snow, dotted with stars, and crumbling with the wind. The scenery is very charming, just like a fairyland on earth.
Afterwards, rent a car to travel around the island and enjoy the panoramic view of Lugu Lake~
Surrounded by green hills, Lugu Lake has winding and graceful shores. There are 17 beaches and 14 bays along the lake. There are 5 islands, 3 peninsulas and 1 seawall connecting the islands in the lake. Among them, Heiwawu Island, Liwubi Island and Lige Island are three scenic spots with viewing and sightseeing value in the lake, known as "Lugu Three Islands".
The lake is clear and quiet, and the light mist in the distant mountains is like a fairyland, which is wonderful~
Lige Peninsula, I personally feel that it is the most beautiful place in Lugu Lake. I watched it three times in Lugu Lake in a week. Each time, depending on the weather and time, you can see different colors:
Lige Island and Lige Village are located on the northwest shore of the lake. They are popular landmarks of Lugu Lake in recent years. The photos taken above are very similar to the promotional pictures of Lugu Lake~
On the north shore of the lake are Nisai Village, Xiaoluoshui Village and Dazui Village, which are quieter because there are fewer tourists.
It is 8 kilometers away from Daluoshui Village to Lige Village. There is a viewing platform on the hillside north of Lige Village. This is a good place to overlook and take photos of Lige Island. Going on, there is a cable car to climb the Goddess Gemu Mountain in Nisai Village not far away. The Goddess Gemu Cave on the mountain is said to be very effective in seeking children.
The art museum and inn of Yang Erche Namu, a celebrity in Lugu Lake, is at the next stop of Nisai Village: Xiaoluoshui Village, which is also the junction of Yunnan and Sichuan. Continue to Dazui Village, Mukua, Goddess Bay , can go all the way to Caohai, walk across the walking marriage bridge across Caohai, and imagine the scene of Mosuo men and women walking marriage in those days, it is also a good experience.
Passing by a place called Luyan Cliff around the island, it feels like a small Jiuzhaigou:
Surrounding the lake is a good way to experience the charm of Lugu Lake. The scenery of lakes and mountains along the way and the pristine Mosuo villages make people stop frequently~
There are many villages along the lake, among which the more prosperous ones that can provide food and accommodation are Daluoshui Village and Lige Village.
Daluoshui Village is located on the southwest bank of Lugu Lake. It is the earliest village developed by the Lugu Lake. The shuttle bus to and from Lijiang stops here.
In the past few days in Daluoshui Village, I saw this old Mosuo lady wearing a red turban every day, which looked like an oil painting from a distance:
Early morning, noon, evening, sunny day, cloudy day, every moment, Lugu Lake is changing with different colors~
The entrances of the B&Bs along the lake in Daluoshui Village are full of flowers of various colors:
The flowers by the lake are colorful and dazzling~
The flowers and plants in Daluoshui Village are extremely gorgeous:
After a 6-day in-depth tour around Lugu Lake, the scenery in Yunnan and Sichuan has its own advantages and disadvantages. In comparison, the hotels and homestays in Yunnan are more stylish~
In the evening, watch the performance of the Mosuo villagers in the center of Daluoshui Village:
On the third day, walk nearly 20 kilometers around Daluoshui Village. In the morning, walk to the left to Dayuba Village, Xiaoyuba Village, etc., and go back and forth for 10 kilometers:
I really didn't expect that there are green Metasequoia trees in Lugu Lake! It looks greener than the metasequoia in Hangzhou:
There are countless flowers on the shore of Lugu Lake:
I saw a few maple trees, which seemed to be Japanese maples, and the maple leaves in summer are already so red!
In the morning, walk to the right to Sanjia Village and other lines, and go back and forth for nearly 10 kilometers:
Local specialties chicken pot:
Daluoshui Village is also very beautiful to watch the sunset of Lugu Lake~
On the fourth day, I lived near Dazu Village in Sichuan Province. It is located on the east bank of Lugu Lake, and the scenery is still super beautiful.
This is the sign for entering Sichuan. Nucleic acid checks are required here, but there is no check in Yunnan, and the management is relatively loose.
Grass Sea on the southeast coast of the lake:
A small restaurant near Dazu Village. I forgot the name, but the business looks good:
The door is the lake:
Come to Wuzhiluo Village to take the pig trough boat again, which is a good place to enjoy the flowers and the scenery.
Appreciate poplar flowers up close:
A little boy of the Yi nationality in Dazu Village:
Fish restaurant by the lake:
The Palace of the Last Princess near Wuzhiluo Village:
In addition to the Lige Peninsula, the place with the best view of Lugu Lake is Goddess Bay:
A pool of calm lake water sets off the blue and black mountains in the distance, looming:
A corner of Goddess Bay:
Lugu Lake, a bright pearl on the plateau, has different lights and shadows every day at sunrise, sunset and clouds.
The 6 days of good time passed quickly, and the summer in-depth tour of Lugu Lake came to a perfect end.
