From time to time, you can always see that it is either on CCTV or reported by other media. Fairy tales, trains, cruise ships, castles, strange houses... After a long time, even those who have never been to Fenglongwan Town will know what to do here.
However, hearing about it and experiencing it are two different things. If you really plan to go to Fenglongwan Town and don’t want to take too many detours, I suggest you read this guide patiently. 1. Arrive by car. At 8:00 a.m., start from Kunming city by car, pass G56 Hangrui Expressway to Yilong Toll Station, follow the road signs to Yindizui along National Highway 320, follow the road signs to Yibai Highway, and continue driving for about 5km. You can arrive at Fenglongwan Town before 10:00.
2. Central Garden Plaza. After entering the town, you can take a photo on the central garden square first, and the grass sculpture art and castle architecture here will become extra points in your photos. But don’t waste too long here, keep going, when you see a piece of melons and fruits, and strange houses in the shape of animals, you will arrive at the first stop of today’s itinerary—the commercial street of Weiwu Village.
Tips: The standard price of tickets for Fenglongwan Town is 60 yuan/person, and the preferential price is 30 yuan/person. For special groups such as children under 1.2 meters, elderly people over 70 years old, the disabled, and journalists, the town has a long-term free ticket policy. In addition, before December 31, 2020, medical workers across the country can be exempted from tickets with valid certificates.
3. Strange House Village Commercial Street. Strange House Village Commercial Street is an online celebrity commercial street in Fenglongwan Town. There are various melons, fruits, and animal-themed huts. You can check in here, take pictures, and explore secrets and treasures. Peacock house, eagle house, swan house, pumpkin house, water bottle house, pear house... punch in in front of each strange house, take photos and send them to Moments, and proper Moments like the harvester. What's in these strange houses? After taking pictures and checking in, take your curiosity and go to the strange house to find out. You may see a room full of candies, encounter all kinds of beautiful scarves and jewelry, or you may be attracted by gourmet books, or you may open the door and enter the Hobbit Middle-earth world by mistake. The strange house village commercial street has distinctive features and rich themes. It is recommended to play for 2-3 hours.
4. Lake light yacht. There are snacks and light meals in the commercial street of Weiwu Village. If you don’t like these, the dinner time of the waterfall restaurant is 11:00-14:00, don’t miss it. After the meal, go down the boardwalk all the way, pass the waterfall terraces and arrive at the Garden Square Wharf, take the lake light yacht, and start the afternoon itinerary. The one-way ticket for Huguang Yacht and Romantic Train in Fenglong Bay Town is 70 yuan per person, and the discount package for train cruise is 120 yuan per person. It is recommended to buy a package ticket, because the distance behind is not too close. Huguang Yacht is one of the four main tourism routes planned by Fenglong Bay Town. It passes through five piers along the way, namely Garden Square, Lianhua Island, Little Three Gorges, Jianshan and Hebian Village. Following the yacht, you can catch all the beautiful fjord ecological scenery.
5. Horse Crossing River Tourist Resort. Arriving at the Hebian Village Wharf, the lake cruise sightseeing route has come to an end for the time being. You can enjoy the beauty of the river valley landscape in Hebian Village (Maguohe Tourist Resort), you can also taste the street food, or explore the history and culture of the Tea Horse Station, the Three Bridges Concentric, and the legend of the Flying Tigers. But don’t just play, remember to return to Hebian Village before 17:00, and wait for the small train to return. If you are late, you will not be able to catch up!
6. The romantic train is the last must-experience item of the itinerary. The journey is 8 kilometers and takes about 30 minutes. The Fenglongwan Town Romantic Train passes through 5 stations and 6 tunnels. Currently, some stations and tunnels are still under construction, but it does not affect the riding experience. At the same time, the train tour route of Fenglongwan Town also carries a rich and rich train history and culture, and the standard gauge, meter gauge, and inch gauge coexist. 7. Take the romantic train back to the town again, and today's trip is basically over. You must be very tired at the end of the day.
