Because I missed Namjagbarwa last night, at 7 o'clock in the morning, I took my friends and returned to the pass of Sejila Mountain to explore Namjagbarwa. There are small scenic spots such as Lulang Linhai along the road. In fact, you can see related scenery in many places, but the location of the scenic spots is better. After arriving at the pass, the weather was not ideal. I stayed at the pass for more than two hours. The cloudy weather made it impossible for me to see the true face of Namjagbarwa. Perhaps this will be an important reason for me to come here again.
Back at the hotel around 10:00, pack up your luggage and set off. Today’s planned destination is Ranwu Lake. The scenery along the way will be much better than the first day. Various snow-capped mountains, rivers, and temples will make your eyes and cameras unable to stop. down. Along the way, you can see self-driving, motorcycling, cycling, hiking, and pilgrims. The more famous thing on the road is the former Tongmai natural danger: known as the "Tongmai Cemetery", which shows how dangerous this section of the road was at the time. Now we have no chance to walk it again. The Tongmai Bridge and related road sections have been repaired for many years. It has become a natural danger and a thoroughfare. Now we only need to pass through dozens of short tunnels to reach the Tongmai Bridge. After crossing the bridge, we are Tongmai. We had lunch in Tongmai, an ordinary roadside shop, the price is not expensive, we shop for 6-7 small dishes and it cost more than 200.
Arrived at Bomi County around 1:00pm, Bomi was the only intersection leading to Medog County at that time. I knew a long time ago that Medog County is the last county in China with roads. The winding mountain road along the way from Bomi is not in good condition. The washboard road is about 30 kilometers away. You will descend slowly from an altitude of more than 4,000. Along the way, you can feel the scenery from the high-altitude snow field slowly enter the virgin forest. Because of the frequent occurrence of mudslides and avalanches, the roads are often washed away, so the roads from the Galongla Pass are all mud-rock roads. It was after 10 o'clock in the evening when we arrived in Medog County. It took nearly 9 hours to drive from Bomi to Medog. Fortunately, we bought some snacks such as highland barley cakes when we were in Tongmai, otherwise we might starve to death on the road. Ha ha.
