Springs are places where groundwater naturally emerges to the surface, or where underground aquifers emerge from the surface. According to the different flow conditions, it can be divided into geysers and perennial springs. If there is no significant flow of groundwater after it emerges from the surface, it is called seepage. According to the temperature of the water flow, springs can be divided into hot springs and cold springs. Atmospheric precipitation seeps underground and flows along the inclined direction of the rock layer. When blocked by the intrusive rock mass, the pressurized water is exposed to the surface and forms spring water.
Everyone knows the story of borrowing the banana fan for the third time, but everyone does not know that Tang monk, master and apprentice were all burned when Wukong borrowed the fan for the second time. After the fire in the Huoyan Mountain was extinguished, nectar fell from the sky, and a spring of eyes was bestowed in the flames. The four Tang monks, masters and apprentices were instructed by the Dragon King to find a spring in the mountain.
Wukong then washed the burnt wound with the water of the divine spring, and a miraculous thing happened, since the part burned by the Huoyanshan fire slowly recovered. When Tang Seng learned about this, he asked the other two apprentices to wash their wounds with water from this spring, and the miraculous thing happened again. Since everyone's wounds recovered slowly.
Later, Tang Sengbian asked Wukong to tell the villagers at the foot of the mountain that the divine spring in the volcano has been enshrined and passed down to this day. Until that day, the local villagers in Turpan got some strange skin diseases and were still using the water of the divine spring to heal them.
