Closely connected, the three scenic spots are on the same road, with a difference of up to 5 kilometers. It's just that each scenic spot occupies a gully. After expanding the publicity, individual contracting has become a seemingly irrelevant place. After lunch, drive to [Tangdi Village] and its hanging wall road, which are widely rumored on the Internet.
This is the well bottom village. Along the way, roads are being rebuilt and expanded. The road is bumpy and full of potholes. After driving for more than 2 hours for dozens of kilometers, I finally arrived at the village of Chaodi.

In fact, it is to block a dam along a small river. A small reservoir is formed, and there is only one street in the village next to the reservoir. Well Di Village is located in the depths of Taihang Mountains and got its name because it is surrounded by tall and steep mountains. The small village is surrounded by mountains and rivers, you can see trees when you look up, and grass when you look down. It is covered with vegetation everywhere, and it is lush. There is Xiangyun Lake in the village, and a dam blocks the clear water, adding a bit of beauty to this mountain village. There is a deep valley at the bottom of the dam, and a trickling stream flows along the valley beside the steep peaks. The breeze comes slowly, and there is no coolness, only a refreshing feeling.
Welldi Village is located on the Shanxi-Henan Ancient Road, and it was an important station on the ancient road, so there were many inns, food stores, and shops here. Judging from the inscriptions on the earliest surviving remnant stele of Longmen Temple at the bottom of the well, it is speculated that there were people living here before the Zhengde period of the Ming Dynasty.
A dam was built in the canyon behind the village, and the accumulated water formed a lake, named Xiangyun Lake. No matter how many tourists pass by, it just stays there quietly, calm. The turquoise lake reflects the entire mountain and river, and the water reflects the mountain village, which somewhat adds a little taste of Jiangnan water town to this small village. In the deep valleys and pools at the bottom of the dam, waterfalls run down the steep dam. A ray of breeze, with a few drops of lake water, some are just the refreshingness of the mountains and the comfort that hits the face. Wash away all the lead and show a plain posture, and look at the world of mortals indifferently. If you have been polluted by the hustle and bustle of the city, you might as well spend some time in this paradise, where you will find leisure and tranquility.
The current developer is on the opposite side of the reservoir. A lot of new houses are built, which are estimated to be residential commercial houses.
The village is built along the road, and the houses are scattered high and low, with stone as the material. Stone streets, stone walls, stone floors, stone houses, stone mills, stone mills, stone mortars, stone tables, stone benches, stone water tanks, etc. have become very distinctive architectural forms here. Especially for the roof materials, the irregular stone slabs obtained locally are all maroon, with almost the same thickness, but different shapes. There are several colorful boats in the reservoir, which can be rented out in summer. Xiangyun Lake Cliff Residence is located in Ruodi Village, Changzhi. It is inlaid on the cliffs and occupies the unique style of Xiangyun Lake. The mountain spring water flowing from the crevices in the mountains converges in the lake, and the color changes from light to dark until it converges into the color of jasper, as if the essence of the world is gathered in it. When there are no tourists, it is as quiet as a poem; when tourists come, boats and yachts pass by, and white waves shine in the sun, shining like jewels.

A small mountain village deep in the mountains, Chaodi Village, can be reached from Henan or Shanxi, the road conditions are very average, winding mountain roads. The commercial atmosphere in the village is too strong, there are almost no old houses, and the scenery is good. It's just bad manners.

This is a recent name change. The villagers here thought that the name of the village was uncomfortable, so they changed it to [Shenlong Bay].
The Guabi Highway here was also renamed [Shenlong Guabi Highway]. A few days ago, the hanging wall road here collapsed and landslides occurred. The road reaches the hanging wall gate, and now only people can walk through 2 planks. The car will definitely not be able to make it through, and you have to go back the same way. Otherwise, it is only 21 kilometers from here to [Pingshun County] through the Guabi Highway. It can be reached in half an hour.
There are also large-scale landslides and landslides in the middle of the hanging wall road, and the engineering team is currently fully constructing. Re-use reinforced concrete tank columns.
We walked into the hanging wall road. This is a 1,500-meter-long wall-mounted road built by ordinary people for several years. It turns out that the villagers of Ruodi must go through the "Hello ladder" when they go out of the mountain. "Hello Ladder" is located between the cliffs in the west of Ruodi Village. It was chiseled in the early Qing Dynasty. The whole ladder is almost upright without handrails. There are 99 sets of 15,000 steps in total. Looking up is like climbing to the sky. In many parts of the ladder, only half a foot can be accommodated. One side is a mountain, and the other side is a bottomless cliff. It is necessary to go around fifteen or six dangerous bends all the way to reach the top of the mountain.
It turns out that the villagers at the bottom of the well must go through the "Hello ladder" when they go out of the mountain. In the 1,500-meter-long wall-mounted road, a total of 39 openings were built for ventilation, light transmission and gravel discharge. Viewing the scenery of Taihang Mountain visually through the entrance of the cave is a unique scenery.
Therefore, it has become the most extravagant dream of the people in Chaodi Village to have a decent road out of the mountains. In the winter of 1996, 40 to 50 strong men who were "supported by a passion" in Chaodi Village at that time formed the initial road construction team and started the road construction in the style of Yugong Yishan. But when they worked in the dark for two months, they found that the "road" had only advanced 3 meters. Some people withered, some people sacrificed, but the subordinates did not stop. At the beginning of 1999, the County Transportation Bureau won funds for them, and the staff carried the machine and came to the well bottom tunnel like a rescuer. After arduous efforts, after the Spring Festival in 2000, the bottom tunnel was finally open to traffic. Villagers in the mountains can reach the county seat in just 50 minutes.
However, despite the excitement, people found that the tunnel has many sequelae. For example, the 4-meter-wide road can only allow one car to pass through, for example, there is no anti-collision wall on the edge of the cliff, and there are many problems such as falling rocks from the top of the head. So in 2007, with the support of the state, the "wall hanging highway" started again. The road construction team started the dangerous "suspension work" on the hanging wall. After that, it was improved several times until the end of 2008, when it was finally completed.
Between the wall hanging roads, there is a "Fox Fairy Cave", which is full of incense. It may be people's prayers for peace and prosperity.
At the exit of the hanging wall road, two stone monuments were erected. Hope local tyrants come to invest and help the poor.
Due to the lack of information, we spent more than 5 hours in vain, and went to see the poor bottom village and the dragon hanging on the wall.
Since we've wasted a lot of time here. Unable to go to the last scenic spot in the original plan [Hongtiguan Hangbi Highway], I had to give up and leave a little regret. Because of the 8 wall hangings, we missed one. Because we have to continue on the road for 350 kilometers. No matter how late it is tonight, we must rush to the ancient city of Pingyao, Shanxi.
