Thoughts about travel

If you go far away, will you still follow me?
Not heaven, a place more beautiful than heaven
The vast grassland, cattle and sheep bathed in the sun
The continuous snow-capped mountains are the clothes of the earth
The holy snow lotus blooms on the top of Tianshan Mountain
At the end of the Gobi, the passionately waiting Populus euphratica
The fall of Populus euphratica has been a thousand years of wind and frost
In the depths of the desert lives the Loulan girl
The girl is drunk and smells of kumiss
If you want to go far away, Xinjiang is a good place
——"Xinjiang is a good place"

Every time I hear this song, I have more longing for the distant Xinjiang. Like many people, I have always had a Xinjiang dream in my heart. The longing for Xinjiang in the past all came from Xinjiang in autumn. I always heard that the autumn scenery in Xinjiang is a golden fairy tale world, which is fascinating, so I have been yearning to go to Xinjiang once in autumn.
However, sometimes the longing for a place is so impatient. I can't wait for the arrival of autumn. In midsummer and May, a plane ticket goes straight to it across the mountains and seas. The autumn colors in Xinjiang, we are destined to meet again in autumn!
When I came to Xinjiang, I realized that not only autumn Xinjiang is fascinating, but Xinjiang in midsummer is also full of beautiful fairy tale worlds, which are equally fascinating. So, "accidental" travel, who says it is not a surprise? The scenery I have seen is the most beautiful scenery.

I have been back from Xinjiang for a few days, and my heart is still running in the vast and boundless Kalajun prairie, and I am still fascinated by the fairyland of Yunhai Villa on the mountainside of Qiongkushitai Village... Six days and five nights, I do I had a Xinjiang dream that I didn't want to wake up from.
Although in just a few days, I only checked in a little bit of Xinjiang, but it also allowed me to experience the natural charm of the beautiful Xinjiang.

Then...follow my footsteps and take a look at what I have seen in Xinjiang~

Look at the beautiful scenery first, and then I will talk about it

I used to hear that Xinjiang is very far away, and the time to fly to Xinjiang is enough to fly to a foreign country. This time I realized that it took off from Guangzhou at 12:40 noon, and it was already 11 o'clock in the middle of the night when we arrived in Turks County. So the first day and the return day are basically on the road.

If you don't go to Xinjiang, you don't know how big China is. How big is Xinjiang? It covers an area of 1.66 million square kilometers, accounting for one-sixth of China's total land area. So to play the whole Xinjiang, think about how much time we will spend?

If you don’t go to Xinjiang, you don’t know the beauty of China, and if you don’t go to Yili, you don’t know the beauty of Xinjiang. The itinerary is centered on Tekes County, which is located in the southern part of the Yili River Valley in Xinjiang and the northern foot of the Tianshan Mountains. From Tekes County to Kalajun Scenic Area, and then to Qiongkushitai Village, the beauty of this road makes me realize that Xinjiang will make you want to come again even if it is far away.

When you come to Turks, start by getting to know the city of Turks

Tekes County is famous for its architectural layout resembling Bagua, so it is called "Bagua City". It is the only largest and best-preserved "Bagua City" in the world. Today, it has become a tourist city famous for its national historical and cultural city and its rich historical and cultural connotations. It is a famous summer resort and tourist resort in Xinjiang and even the whole country.

If you want to understand the history and culture of Tekes, start from Bagua City~

When you come to the archway of Bagua City, look up and see that there is also a figure of Bagua above the three characters of Bagua City. The red and blue matching archway is particularly conspicuous.

Tekes County is built and named streets based on the layout of the Eight Diagrams in the "Book of Changes". According to the directions of the Eight Diagrams, eight streets of Qian, Li, Kan, Kun, Zhen, and Gen are radiated at equal distances and at the same angle. Each main street is 1,200 meters long, and a ring road connecting eight main streets is set every 360 meters. There are four ring roads from the center to the outside.

Among them, eight streets in the first ring, sixteen streets in the second ring, thirty-two streets in the third ring, and sixty-four streets in the fourth ring. These streets form sixty-four hexagrams according to the eight trigrams, fully reflecting the 64 hexagrams and 386 lines. I Ching mathematics.
Because Bagua City is connected by roads and streets, there will be no traffic jams and road jams here. Vehicles and pedestrians can reach their destination no matter which direction they go, and it is a city without traffic lights. However, the well-connected streets make it easy for a beginner to get lost.

I remembered that we had to cross the road in front of the archway in Bagua City that day, and we didn’t dare to cross after waiting for a while while watching the vehicles coming and going. Later, a little policeman came to help direct the traffic, and we passed quickly. It is only now that I realize that there are no traffic lights in Bagua City~

The Tai Chi Altar in the Bagua City Square is also very majestic, with a simple and simple appearance. It was built according to the connotation of the Book of Changes and national characteristics, highlighting the architectural cultural characteristics of "Tai Chi Liangyi", "Four Images and Eight Diagrams", and "Balance of Yin and Yang". The shape is a big tripod, which looks like a big pot propped up at first glance, and it also looks like a naan pit of ethnic minorities.

The Tai Chi Altar is divided into two floors. On the top circular roof, you can see the extension direction of the eight streets in all directions, but because the floor is too low to overlook the entire Tekes Bagua City, it is a pity. However, it was the first time I saw such a pattern at the scene, and I felt that it was another magical and spectacular formation.

Different functional areas are set up in the Taiji Temple to highlight the four characteristics of newness, practicality, fun and completeness. Through different technical means and physical display, we can fully understand the history, culture and development planning of Tekes.
What impressed me most was the scene of a grassland herdsman's house. How many people yearn for this kind of leisurely life~

If you want to understand the culture of the Book of Changes, you can go to the Culture Park of the Book of Changes.

The Book of Changes Cultural Park is located in Tekes County. There are museums, calligraphy and painting institutes, bronze statues of King Wen, Dayi Stele Gallery, calligraphy and painting corridors, Sun Moon Lake, artificial lakes, Tai Chi waterwheels, miniature landscapes of Bagua City, etc. in the park.

A corridor full of paintings and inscriptions~

The garden is lush with green trees and a vibrant scene. It rained lightly that day, even though it was Turks in May, it was still in the rhythm of winter, which made us shiver with cold.
Walking along the promenade, people like me who have never understood the I Ching culture, listened to the detailed explanations of the staff in the park, and gained a certain understanding. The Zhouyi culture is extensive and profound~

It is said that if you go to every new place and want to know its history, then go to the museum. Unexpectedly, there is a small museum hidden in the Yijing Cultural Park.

Although the museum is not big, it displays cultural relics from different periods, as well as a brief introduction to the village of Qiongkushitai and the Wusun Ancient Road that we have not yet visited, so that we can fully understand the past and present of Turks. The museum is really a good place to learn about history and culture~

When I first entered Bagua City, I felt that Turks was not as mysterious as I imagined, but when I saw the video, I realized the charm of this county again.
If you want to overlook the whole picture of Bagua City, you can choose to take the Tai Chi Eye Ferris Wheel, a hot air balloon or take a plane passing by. Of course, the best choice must be the plane.

If you want to take a Ferris wheel to see Bagua City, you can come to the Tai Chi Eye Ferris Wheel located outside the Fourth Ring Road of Tekes County, about 1 km away from the county seat. The Ferris wheel is 50 meters high and is 140 meters above the ground after operation. It takes about 20 minutes for the entire ferris wheel to turn around. It is a landmark building and a new tourist attraction in Tekes County, a national historical and cultural city.

We came to sit on the Ferris wheel after dinner that day, so what we saw was only the night view of Bagua City, not the panorama. If you want to see the panorama, you have to choose to ride during the day.

When you come to Turks, remember to choose a way you like, climb high and look far, and appreciate the mystery of Bagua City~

Enjoy a slow time in the multi-ethnic Lijie

Tekes Li Street is composed of a number of distinctive courtyards. It is an ethnic-style block integrating Wusun culture, Silk Road culture, grassland culture, Yijing culture and other cultures. It is a characteristic of Tekes County. Pedestrian Street is also a place where Tekes is a popular internet celebrity. So when you come to Turks, you must remember to check in from the street.

It is not far from the street, but it contains seven areas: service area, catering area, homestay area, handicraft product area, specialty area, snack area, and cultural display area. There are Kazakhs, Uyghurs, Hans, Huis, Mongolians, Kirgizs and other ethnic groups living in it. The quaint streets and simple folk customs... You can experience different ethnic cultures while walking in the street.

When I saw Li Street for the first time, a sense of familiarity came to me, which made me think for a moment that I was in the wide and narrow alleys of Chengdu again. Warm atmosphere, friendly folk customs, open courtyards, blooming flowers... But after looking back, although it is similar to Kuanzhai Alley, it has more tranquility and more ethnic customs here.

Walking in the street, the characteristic graffiti on the walls on both sides successfully attracted our attention. Every mural on the wall is lifelike and becomes a beautiful landscape in Li Street. We couldn't help but stop and started shooting like crazy.
Although the street is small, you can spend a whole day shopping, because every corner is so creative and full of scenery, which can make you stop and stay~

Strolling on the bluestone slabs and every courtyard in the street, it seems that time stops here, and all the pressure and troubles in my heart are abandoned in the good time in the street.

When I walked to the Wusun post office, I really wanted to go in and write a letter to my future self, but I stopped for some reason. At this moment, I am thinking that if I receive a letter from the beautiful Turks, it will be a very meaningful thing. When I was writing this passage, I made a secret decision. If I come to Lijie in the future, I must go in and write a letter to myself~

I like the tranquility of the street, the colorful colors of the street, and the unexpected surprises at every corner of the street. Walking in Lijie with multi-ethnic customs, every step is a scenery.

Kalajun Prairie, a fairyland in fairy tales

It is said that,
Everyone has a grassland feeling in their hearts,
Boundless sea of flowers, boundless grassland, cattle and sheep everywhere~

I suddenly thought of a song in the grassland
"When the flowers bloom, please come to the grassland
Take a look at this vast expanse
Dance, sing, sing, have fun
We are intoxicated in the beautiful grassland
Please come to the grassland in the blooming season
Look at the blue sky above
White clouds and endless sea of flowers
We are intoxicated in the beautiful grassland
We are intoxicated in the beautiful grassland”
——"The Season of Flowers Blooms, Please Come to the Grassland"

In midsummer and May, the grassland flowers are competing to bloom,
If there is only one fairyland between you and the fairy tale,
Kala Jun in May has become a beautiful painting
Come to the Kalajun Prairie, I promise you a beautiful place like a fairy tale.

Kalajun Grassland is located in the south of Tekes County, Xinjiang. It is a typical alpine five-flowered meadow natural prairie. This is the transition zone from the West Tianshan Mountains to the Ili River Valley. It has abundant precipitation, cool climate and thick soil, which is very suitable for the growth of pastures. , There are hundreds of high-quality forage grasses growing. Its terrain is gentle and undulating, with a wide field of vision.

Kala Jun is a Kazakh language. Kala means dark, rich and vast. Jun describes the dense appearance. Literally, the Kala Jun Prairie can be translated as a vast grassland.
In Kala Jun, the verdant spruce spruce and the flowering meadow are mosaiced and combined on different terrains, presenting a variety of beautiful patterns with colorful colors, also known as the piebald forest.

The snow-capped mountains that never melt all year round surround this vast and boundless meadow in the air. In midsummer and May, the grass is green and the flowers are in full bloom. It is a wonderful aerial picture.

Walking on the grassland, the Kazakhs riding horses are so handsome on horseback~

In the vast grassland, the snow-capped mountains are in front of you, the clouds are within reach, and the grassland is full of small flowers. If you take a picture casually, isn’t every frame a Windows desktop?

I can't hold back the excitement of seeing the prairie, and I am fascinated by the colorful world of the prairie. At this moment, I have a big hug with the prairie, take a beautiful photo, and record my mood at the moment.

Overlooking from the grassland, the snow-capped mountains are set against the blue sky, the rolling hills under the snow-capped mountains, the cyan pine forest, and the green, yellow, and purple dotted colors in front of you, exuding a fresh grassland flavor.
When we came to the Kalajun Grassland, looking at the natural beauty in front of us, the tiredness of hiking all the way disappeared without a trace. Kalajun greeted us with the most brilliant and enthusiastic attitude.

In the artistic picture scroll of nature, it is a beautiful and unique thing to experience horse riding and gallop on the grassland~

The first time I rode a horse in my life, I dedicated it to the beautiful Kalajun prairie. The first time I rode a horse, I was a little scared at the beginning. When I saw the spectacular scenery around me on horseback, there was also a groom behind me. So, the sense of fear has been lost in the beauty of nature.
Running on the prairie, enjoying the good time on the prairie, this is the freedom I yearn for~

Running on the prairie, riding a horse, embracing the boundless sea of flowers... these beautiful pictures that appear in fairy tales, but I was in the fairy tale by accident~

Kuokesu Grand Canyon, the uncanny beauty of nature

Kuokesu Grand Canyon is the core scenic spot of Kalajun Scenic Area. The characteristics of the scenic spot are mainly canyon landforms, water landscapes, and alpine grasslands. It integrates high gorges, flat lakes, snow-capped mountains, primitive vegetation, peaks and cliffs, streams and strange rocks. The ecology and humanities reflect each other, giving people a sense of magnificence and beauty.

The Kuokesu Grand Canyon is formed by the interaction of geological movements and snow melt water in Tianshan Mountains deposited over hundreds of millions of years. From a distance, the canyon looks like a colorful ribbon falling among the mountains.

In the canyon, there is a limestone wall with a height difference of more than 200 meters and a complete wall surface. With the completion of the opening line, Kuokesu Canyon has become the third wild rock climbing base in Xinjiang and the first wild rock climbing route in Yili.

Standing on the top of the canyon, the wind whistling in the ears, relaxed and happy, enjoying the spectacular scenery bestowed by nature~

On such a beautiful canyon, I couldn't help but take a rock climbing photo, but it's far from the standard rock climbing action~

The beautiful Kuokesu River in the Kuokesu Grand Canyon winds and turns, with steep cliffs and steep terrain, thus forming natural landscapes such as Crocodile Bay, nine bends and eighteen bends.

Crocodile Bay is located in the middle of the Kuokesu Grand Canyon Scenic Area. It is named after the mountain resembles two crocodiles lying on the bottom of the valley. Walk along the boardwalk to the viewing platform below, which is the best spot to watch Crocodile Bay.

A close look at the head of a huge crocodile is dormant in the canyon, with the rushing river flowing past its mouth, it is motionless, waiting for an opportunity to catch its prey; while another crocodile is playing mischievously in the water. Every movement and stillness, the color of the landscape is vivid in the eyes.

It is said that when the weather is fine, the river water will present milky white, emerald green, and emerald green wonders. I have to sigh the magical charm of nature~

Nine bends and eighteen bends are created by the special terrain of the Kuokesu River. The river twists and turns at the bottom of the wide valley of the Kuokesu Grand Canyon. The meandering river shape of meters. Counting the rivers in detail, there are no more, no less, just nine bends, the dragon crosses the border and twists forward, and the nine bends turn into eighteen bends.
Standing on the mountain to watch the nine bends and eighteen bends, you can have a panoramic view of the whole nine bends and eighteen bends.

There is a legend that a beautiful fairy in the sky passed by here and was attracted by the beautiful scenery of Kuokesu. She stopped to admire it among the colorful clouds. Accidentally, a piece of colored silk from her body fell down and fell into the canyon, drawing a line. The beautiful curves have turned into a colorful river, forming the nine bends and eighteen bends in front of everyone's eyes.

In fact, the most famous of the nine bends and eighteen bends is the human grassland. A large flannel-like meadow, naturally formed ravines and ravines outline the waves of the sea on this calm meadow, adding a dynamic beauty to this prairie, so it is known as the most beautiful human prairie.

As the sun sets, the gully on the grassland platform is like a naked human body, smooth, round and peacefully lying on the ridge. The ups and downs, the graceful figure, the bumps and convexities, and the proportions are well-proportioned. Under the background of light and shade, it produces the beauty of the curves of the human body. When this grassland is unfolded in front of our eyes at a glance, the uncanny workmanship of nature is amazing!

It's not the first time I've seen a grassland, but I haven't seen such a three-dimensional grassland. Standing here has subverted my perception of the grassland. It turns out that the grassland can also be so charming and graceful.

When the sunset gradually falls between the mountains, standing on it to enjoy the nine bends and eighteen bends and the human grassland, the soft colors and smooth curves make people feel refreshed, as if they are in a fairyland~

️The best time to watch the human grassland is 20:00-22:00 (summer). In order to meet the shooting needs of many photographers, the departure time of the last shuttle bus in the scenic area is 22:00 in the evening. Don’t take pictures I forgot the departure time~

As the sun set, the clouds glowed red and dyed the entire grassland red. On the return journey, I took a photo with my mobile phone through the car window. It was the most beautiful grassland dusk picture I have ever seen. It is charming and dreamy~

The Mysterious Jonkushtai Village

Qiongkushitai Village is located in the southern mountainous area 90 kilometers away from Tekes County, across the river from the Kalajun Prairie. In 2010, it won the title of "China's famous historical and cultural village", and in 2012, it was recognized as the first batch of Chinese traditional villages. This is one of the earliest villages where the Kazakh nomads settled. It has a unique architectural style and still retains many wooden houses with the characteristics of the Kazakh nomads in the 1930s and 1940s. primitive tribe.

When we come to Xinjiang Tekes, we can't miss to visit this mysterious village. As our vehicle slowly drove into the village of Qiongkushitai, unique log cabins appeared in front of our eyes. There used to be no roads here, and people traveled here from Turks County on horseback. Now that the road around the mountain has been built, it is convenient to travel, but it also takes 3 to 4 hours.
The beautiful scenery along the way~

The folk houses in Qiongkushitai Village are all wooden buildings. Some houses are built from a whole log, and some houses are built by dividing the log in two from the middle and using various techniques such as digging, tenoning, and arching. The plane, facade and detail processing of the building, architectural technology and construction techniques, etc. maintain the traces of architectural culture, rich in historical information, and have strong authenticity. It is a well-preserved wooden building complex in the Ili River Valley.

Qiongkushitai Village is hidden deep in the mountains and is not well known to the world. There is no traffic and no noise. Every cabin has its beautiful little story, mysterious and dreamy. The leisurely horses in front of the house, the flock of sheep, and the children playing happily on the grass are the most beautiful and special scenery here.

There are simple and kind Kazakhs living in Qiongkushitai Village. The children playing in the grass in front of the house saw me running over excitedly. I was recording a small video, and they were curiously running around behind me. In front of the camera. Looking at these innocent and lively children, I said let's take a photo together, and they posed in front of the camera, so cute~

The rising smoke from the kitchen wakes up the morning in Qiongkushitai Village. Against the backdrop of boundless grasslands, primeval forests and snow-capped mountains, the whole village is primitive and quiet, and time seems to stop here, as if we were in a fairy tale world. Isn't this the paradise we yearn for?

Qiongkushitai is also a regular entrance for hiking the Wusun Ancient Road, which is one of the classic routes for Xinjiang tourism and exploration. It is said that it will take about 6 days to complete the whole Wusun Ancient Road, and it is quite challenging. We simply experienced it that day and hiked for about 2 kilometers.

The Wusun Ancient Road connects the Junggar Basin in the north and the Tarim Oasis in the south, and is the throat that runs through the north and south of the Tianshan Mountains. In history, many nomadic peoples competed for this strategic location.
With the passage of two thousand years, the ancient country of Wusun has long since disappeared into the clouds of history. On the bank of Tianshan Mountain, the mountains and rivers remain the same, but because of those legends, they are more vivid. The Wusun Ancient Road, which runs from the north to the south of the Tianshan Mountains, is just such a scenic road that has carried the vicissitudes of the millennium.

The dream of Wusun Ancient Road is that people can see different seasons at a glance. There are spring grasslands nearby, green forests in the distance, and snow-capped mountains at the end. The beautiful scenery along the way is endless.

Walking on the Wusun Ancient Road, surrounded by dense towering ancient trees, most of these big trees have a history of hundreds of years. There is also a river valley next to it, which is narrow and wide when walking inside, with gurgling water. The beautiful scenery on the side of the road relieved the fatigue of the body.
The moment I walked into the mountains, my mobile phone lost its signal. It really made me feel isolated from the world. It is the best choice to leave myself to nature. Some roads must be walked by myself.

On the way back, I was thinking, if I were given 6 days, would I want to walk the most beautiful hiking route of Wusun Ancient Road? i think i will~

In Qiongkushitai Village, live in the fairyland-like Yunhai Villa

In Qiongkushitai Village, we lived in the Yunhai Villa on the hillside of the grassland in Qiongkushitai Village. It is integrated with Baiyun Grassland and Snow Mountain, and has a wide field of vision, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful scenery anytime and anywhere.

The villa is dominated by floor-to-ceiling glass wooden houses and starry sky yurts, which have a unique ethnic style, and there are independent bathrooms equipped with hot water, so you don't have to worry about running out of hot water. Pushing open the door and seeing the snow-capped mountains in front of you, it feels really pleasant~

It rained that night at the villa, and when I woke up the next morning, the rain was over and the sky was clear, with blue sky and white clouds, snow-capped mountains and grasslands, wisps of sunshine, interweaving into a wonderful picture.

Herds of cattle and sheep on the grass, and the snow-capped mountains constitute a magnificent alpine grassland painting.

In the early morning of Yunhai Mountain Villa, the happiest thing is watching the herdsmen milking the cows, the herds of cattle and sheep on the grass, and occasionally looking back to see the puppies lazily basking in the sun. All these pictures are really beautiful~

The time in the villa is quiet and beautiful. We don't have to worry about anything, and enjoy the good time that only belongs to us.

On the way back to Tekes County, I encountered a prairie full of small yellow flowers, and the dreamlike picture was fascinating.

Travel strategy tips

About accommodation~
Turks County:
Staying at Tianlu Hotel, the exclusive supporting hotel in the urban area of Kalajun Scenic Area, is the hotel with the highest specification and the most complete facilities in Tekes County, mainly because of its high cost performance. The breakfast is also very rich~

In addition, I also found a few favorite homestays in Tekes County this time, and recommend them to everyone~
Naked Homestay:
🔺The B&B is built in the Uyghur Loulan style, and there are some old fruit trees in the yard, which are full of fruit fragrance in summer.
🔺The trails in the courtyard are mainly to create the Yijing culture. Small stone roads with gossip patterns are paved and turf is planted. In the yard, you can not only feel the pastoral style of farm life, but also have a strong Zhouyi culture and Western customs.
🔺The homestay also has a kitchen, etc., where you can barbecue, cook special dishes, etc.~
🔺 After a day of playing outside, I sat quietly in the yard, looking at this healing tone, and the fatigue of the day disappeared without a trace~
🔺The homestay also has standard rooms, triple rooms, suites, and tatami mats, which can meet the needs of different groups of people~

Irkuti Homestay:
🔺The homestay is a luxurious villa-style building with Uyghur architectural features, and the pink exterior walls immediately captured our girls' hearts.
🔺In addition, breakfast is provided free of charge. The types of breakfast include a variety of exquisite cold dishes, milk tea, milk skin, sanzi and other Uyghur-style nutritious breakfasts.
🔺You can also barbecue in the yard, and you can make a variety of special delicacies.
🔺The owner of the homestay is very hospitable and will teach us to dance folk dances, which is so cute.

Zhai Le Ecological B&B Park:
🔺This is a homestay run by Kazakhs. When I first entered, I was shocked to see his big yard. It felt like a football field~
🔺The exotic decoration style is unique, and they are all a family who are good at singing and dancing.
🔺In addition to accommodation, it also provides hiking, horse riding and other needs~
🔺The picture is the homestay room that his family is expanding~

Karajun Scenic Area:
Stay at Kurdaihe Fengqing Garden Yurt Hotel~
🔺The yurt hotel is designed with a tempered glass dome, and you can touch the stars when you look up. There are deluxe standard rooms with large space and 24-hour hot water supply. And there is heating, so you don’t have to worry about getting cold when the weather is cold~
🔺Located by the river, you can also look at the starry sky at night ~ that is really a romantic and dreamy thing ~
🔺The most famous dish in Fengqing Garden is "Roasted Whole Lamb". The herdsman's prairie sheep, coupled with the secret earth pit roasting technique, the mutton is charred on the outside and tender on the inside, fragrant but not greasy. One bite of mutton will leave a fragrance on the lips and teeth, and you can't stop it. It is said that only love and food in the world can not be let down. I say that the beauty of the world starts with the roasted whole lamb on the tip of the tongue.
🔺We ate roasted whole lamb at night when we stayed at Kurdai Style Garden Yurt Hotel, and witnessed a ceremony of roasting whole lamb, ummm...you have to have a sense of ritual when eating~

Junkushtai Village:
Stay in Yunhai Villa (I have introduced it in the article, so I won’t go into details here~)

About food~
Before coming to Turks, I heard from friends on the Internet that you have to bring a stomach when you come to Xinjiang, because there are too many delicious foods in Xinjiang. Only when I arrived in Xinjiang did I know that the dishes in Xinjiang are served on big plates, and the wine in Xinjiang is drunk in big bowls. After returning from Turks, I gained a few pounds without realizing it~
Let me recommend some delicious food that we have eaten~
🔺Huimin Dongxiang Local Chicken: In this plate of chicken, the chicken is a big piece. The chicken is smooth and fragrant, and it tastes very satisfying.

🔺Lamb chops in dry pot: The outer layer of the lamb is relatively crispy when you bite into it, and there is no fishy smell of lamb at all. Like I didn’t like to eat lamb when I came to Xinjiang, I was not afraid to eat it every day~

🔺Stir-fried horse meat: It is the first time to eat horse meat, and it tastes good.

🔺Nang fried barbecue: crispy naan, tender meat, full of fragrance.

Huimin Dongxiang local chicken, dry pot lamb chops, stir-fried horse meat, and fried barbecue are all eaten on the second floor of Yuanjiang Hot Pot Food City in Tekes County~

🔺Hand pilaf: It looks a bit like fried rice, but it tastes moister than fried rice. The method is to fry onions, shredded carrots, and mutton pieces with oil, then put the cleaned rice into water and simmer for steaming. It tastes good and is said to be very nutritious.
(The hand-picked rice is eaten at Yunhai Villa in Qiongkushitai Village~)

🔺Pepper chicken: I became a fan after the first time I ate it. The pepper chicken is delicious in color and fragrance. The secret soup is blended into every piece of chicken. It is spicy, spicy and fragrant. There is especially the piece of chicken skin, which is really crispy, and I can't forget it after eating it~
(Pepper chicken is eaten at Lijie Snack Street)

We still have something to eat this time: Baoersak, kebabs, grilled buns, roasted whole lamb, stewed lamb, etc. are all Xinjiang delicacies. There are too many delicacies in Xinjiang. Remember to try them all when you come here. There will always be something suitable for you one of yours. So come to Xinjiang, just bring your stomach~

about dressing~
🔺Tex in May is still in the rhythm of winter, and the temperature difference between morning and evening is particularly large. When the sun is out, it will feel colder. If there is sun at noon, I feel that it is enough to wear a short sleeve. There are four seasons in a day, so basically you have to bring clothes for all seasons of the year. Wearing cotton-padded jackets in the morning and gauze in the afternoon, eating watermelon around the stove is the best portrayal of the weather in Xinjiang.
🔺You can bring some beautiful skirts with bright colors, and it will look great when taking pictures on the grassland. The skirt we brought this time was too cold to wear~
🔺Bring sun protection products: hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc. The ultraviolet rays here are not usually strong. And the weather is dry, girls remember to bring skin care and hydration~
🔺Sneakers or flat shoes should be brought, which are convenient for hiking.

About security issues~
Regarding Xinjiang travel, the most frequently asked question is whether it is safe or not. After I come back from Xinjiang, I can tell you that Xinjiang is very safe. There are security checks at every checkpoint. Even when you go to a restaurant, check in a hotel, etc., you need people and bags to go through the security check, so the security in Xinjiang is very good now. that's it. Of course, you still have to pay attention to some common sense things. When you go out, everyone should be vigilant and pay attention to safety.

About time difference~
Pay attention to this. The time difference between Xinjiang and Beijing is 2 hours, so the sunset time is relatively late. It is not dark until 10 pm, and sometimes friends in the mainland start to eat supper before dinner. I remember that on the first day we didn’t realize that the phone time was automatically 2 hours behind Beijing time. We thought it was because the phone was broken hahaha~

About the network~
I heard before that China Mobile 4G has no signal in Xinjiang, but along the way, we have no signal except in Kurdai Fengfengyuan and Qiongkushtai Village, other places are fine, of course it is not as good as China Telecom and China Unicom. When we move without a signal, they can swipe~

About traffic~
Large transportation: Generally, we choose to fly to Urumqi and then transfer to other cities. When we arrived in Tekes County this time, we transferred to Yining in Urumqi and then transferred to the bus to Tekes County.
Small transportation: Traveling to Xinjiang is usually in the form of self-driving or chartered cars. If you drive by yourself, it will be relatively tiring, and you are not familiar with the road conditions, so it is recommended to choose a chartered car. The price of chartered cars will also fluctuate with peak and low seasons.

there will be a period later

When sorting out the photos in Xinjiang, I found that I took too many photos in the same place without knowing it, but I was reluctant to delete them. The beauty of Xinjiang must be seen with your own eyes. You can't imagine the beauty without being there. The shocking beauty you see with your eyes cannot be expressed clearly in pictures or words.
This is what I saw in Xinjiang in six days and five nights. Share it with those who like Xinjiang and those who want to go to Xinjiang~
Xinjiang, you must go, if you can, you have to see the most beautiful it in every season~
