Itinerary planning and preparation
In the fiery July, we came to Guizhou, the only tourist upstart in Southwest China that we had never been to, and wanted to take a summer vacation. But in fact, these few days are the hottest time in Guizhou, with a maximum of more than 30 degrees, which gave me a tan.
The planned time is 6 days. The route is mainly Huangguoshu and Southeast Guizhou, including Zhenyuan Ancient City, Miao Village, and Qikong, and finally returns to Qingyan Ancient Town in Guiyang after a rest. After thinking about it for a long time, the Miao Village overthrew the most popular Xijiang Miao Village, and chose the relatively original Langde Shangzhai, which is actually only about 20 kilometers away.
The mode of transportation is self-driving, which is relatively free. I chose it and booked a car rental with Ctrip.
Accommodation: Guiyang booked a two-day homestay on Tujia. Zhenyuan, Libo, and Qingyan ancient towns were all found now, because most of the descriptions on the Internet are inconsistent, and seeing is believing. Facts have proved that this is a wise strategy. Very unhappy, other inns are very satisfied.
First time in Guiyang
From northeast to southwest, it crossed half of China obliquely. After 6 hours (including stops), the plane landed at Guiyang Longdongbao Airport. After picking up the car, we headed straight to two sightseeing spots in the city: Qianling Mountain and Jiaxiu Tower.
Qianling Mountain is not too high, but you can overlook most of Guiyang City. There are many monkeys on the mountain, in twos and threes. They are not afraid of people at all, and you have to beware of them snatching your things.
Jiaxiu Tower is a landmark building in Guiyang. It was built in the Ming Dynasty and is a three-story wooden attic across the river.
At night, I live in Huaguoyuan Community, which is known as the largest in the country. There is no free parking place, and it is very inconvenient to get in and out. I remind my friends not to live here. When I went out for dinner at night, I chose the No. 1 Silian Red Tangsi Doll (Huaguoyuan Shopping Center store), but it turned out that not only did I need to be numbered, but it was out of number. I am a foodie, so I took a taxi and went to the nearest store, and finally got a number. Silk dolls are really delicious, high quality and low price, highly recommended (we patronized to eat, did not take pictures).
360° Huangguoshu
Huangguoshu Scenic Spot is located in Anshun, more than 120 kilometers away from Guiyang, and contains many scenic spots. The three larger and classic scenic spots are the Great Waterfall, Doupotang Waterfall and Tianxing Bridge Scenic Spot. The package also includes these three parts and can be used within two days. Doupotang is not too far from the Great Falls, you can walk, and the scenery on the road is very good. The distance to Tianxing Bridge is 7-8 kilometers, and you can only take a car. After half a day of research, it is not sure whether self-driving cars are allowed to pass through. To be on the safe side, I still bought a sightseeing ticket (50 yuan, Xiaogui). I only have one day, and I have to go through these three scenic spots. I refer to the recommendation of the official Weibo of the scenic spot. After actual verification, I have determined that the best route is to walk to Doupotang Waterfall first. It takes less than half an hour to visit, and then walk to The Great Falls, on the one hand, it is downhill to save energy, on the other hand, you can watch the beauty of the Great Falls at 360°. After coming out of the Great Falls, you must take a car to the Tianxing Bridge. You must walk the entire distance, because the essence of the Tianxing Bridge is in the second half. , Tour groups basically go out in Gaolaozhuang, cheating tourists!

The Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area is divided into two parts, the front and the back. The two parts are very different in style. The first half is like a natural version of Suzhou gardens, like a maze. . The second half is full of openings and closings, and the stunning scenery makes people jaw-dropping and amazed.
Go forward and see a low, narrow entrance that says Star Cave. Bending down to drill in, it turned out to be a small cave. I fumbled along the winding and dark road. Suddenly, a huge cave appeared in front of me.
After leaving the Tianxing Cave, you can walk forward along the galloping and roaring river, and feel that the momentum of this river is not inferior to that of Hukou Waterfall.
Tai Chi Ancient City——Zhenyuan
Zhenyuan Ancient City is located in the northeast of Guiyang, about 270 kilometers away from Guiyang. Wuyang River meanders through the city in an "S" shape, forming a pattern similar to a Tai Chi picture, so it is also called the ancient town of Bagua. There are no tickets in the ancient town, but some attractions inside are charged.
Langde Shangzhai
Leaving Zhenyuan, drive to Kaili to see the more primitive Miao village—Langde Shangzhai. Langde Miao Village is divided into upper village and lower village, each with more than a hundred families. Maybe it’s because we went late (1:00 p.m.), we didn’t see the wine at the door, and we were not warmly invited to our house to have a look. There is a song and dance performance for the whole village, and it will be until 4:30 p.m., we have to fight for it I rushed to Libo before dark and didn't even look at it. So, we just walked around the village and chatted with a few villagers who were selling things.
Unpredictable—the water in Xiaoqikong
The large and small seven holes are in Libo, which has been merged into one scenic spot. The ticket is also valid for two days. The small seven holes can be played for a whole day, so the big seven holes can be visited the next day, and 2 hours is enough.
The most amazing thing about Xiaoqikong is its water. There is a saying that "you don't look at the water when you come back from Jiuzhai", but I think the water in Xiaoqikong is not inferior to Jiuzhai. It has both a quiet and picturesque lake surface and The waterfalls flying straight down, as well as the streams flowing over the stone surface and in the woods, are varied, and each form presents the ultimate beauty, which makes people linger and forget to return.
You can take a bamboo raft to enter the Big Seven Holes. On the one hand, you can walk less, and on the other hand, you can draw in the middle. In fact, only the Tiansheng Bridge can be seen. The tops of the two mountains meet, and the bottom is completely empty. A natural bridge is quite shocking. The Yaofeng Cave behind it has not yet been developed, and it is in name only.
Because we had to rush back to live in Qingyan Ancient Town, Guiyang, we hurriedly ended our tour of Daqikong, and it only took an hour and a half.
Eat, Eat——Qingyan Ancient Town
Qingyan Ancient Town is located in Guiyang. It is one of the four ancient towns in Guizhou. It was built in the Ming Dynasty. It was originally a military fortress. There are a large number of ancient buildings in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The movie "Looking for Guns" was shot here. In addition, there are many famous snacks and specialties in Qingyan, especially pork knuckles, cakes and porridge, etc. We plan to use the last half day to go shopping, eat, and spend leisure time.

In order to develop tourism in Guizhou, there is a summer policy from June to September. Tickets for foreign ID cards are half priced. If you are from Qingdao (is it a sister city?), then congratulations, half price, foreign license plates, and high-speed tolls are half priced (but Guiyang There is limited traffic in the first ring road of the city, and foreign license plates can only be used for four consecutive days, and it will not work on the fifth day, so you need to pay attention). This policy should be praised, it can save a lot of money, if you can avoid July-August, the accommodation price will be much cheaper, so September should be the best choice for Guizhou tourism.
In less than 6 days, I really can’t get enough of it. This trip is worthwhile. There are still many goals worth looking forward to in my heart, such as Fanjing Mountain, Zhijin Cave, Tianyan..., Guizhou-I will come again.
