"Go to Guizhou, climb the most famous mountain, visit the largest Miao village, visit the oldest ancient town"

I came to Guizhou for the second time this year, and once again came to this place with various customs and colorful ethnic cultures. There are three purposes of this trip: one is the Rhododendron, which is located in Dafang, Bijie, western Guizhou; the second is the Taijiang Sisters Festival, which is located in Kaili, southeast Guizhou;

schedule:

Day1 Guangzhou - Guiyang

Da2 Guiyang - Rhododendron in Bijie - Guiyang

Day3 Guiyang - Langde Shangzhai - Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village

Day4 Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village - Taijiang Sisters Festival - Jianjiang

Day5 Jianjiang - Laotun Village Laotun Township - Changtan Village - Zhenyuan Ancient Town

Day6 Zhenyuan Ancient Town—Zhaoxing Dong Village

Day7 Zhaoxing Dong Village——Guangzhou

Before the start of the trip, the weather has been in a continuous rainy state. From Guangzhou to Guizhou, the sky has been dark.

It was noon when I arrived in Guiyang, and I stayed at the Blue Sky View Hotel on the fourth floor of Building 8, Fortune Plaza, Huaxi Wetland Park. Waiting for the arrival of the students here.

During this trip, my classmates and I had two overlapping activities, one was at the Baili Dujuan in Bijie, and the other was at the Taijiang Sisters Festival. Enjoy the happy time with your classmates. At other times, he participated in the photography group of Ranger.

In the evening, when I saw the students who arrived two days in advance and went to Zunyi and Maotai Town, I was very close after a long absence. These are the children who grew up together since childhood, and now they can come together and play together, it is really happy! Everyone met in Guiyang, and tomorrow we will go to the Baili Rhododendron in Dafang, Bijie.

April 16 Itinerary: Guiyang—Bilijie Rhododendron

The largest garden - Rhododendron azalea is different red

Walking out of the hotel after breakfast, the sky was lightly raining, and it seemed that there was no sign of clearing up. I couldn't help worrying, if the weather was always like this, it would be too boring to take pictures of this azalea. Because photography is most about looking at the sky and eating.

Fortunately, God has taken care of us. When we approached Bijie, the sky gradually cleared up. When we arrived at Baili Rhododendron, the sun was already shining, the sky was blue and white clouds. So awesome!

This is a piece of wild Rhododendron that has grown for hundreds of thousands of years. It is a national forest park. There are 41 species of Rhododendron lantana, Rhododendron dewdrops, and Rhododendron chinensis in the park, including 5 subgenus of Rhododendron in the world. all. It is known as "the largest natural garden in the world" and enjoys the reputation of "the ribbon of the earth and the garden of the world". It is said that there is also a Kao tree that has grown for thousands of years in the scenic area. These wild rhododendrons have grown here for thousands of years. No one knows about the flowers blooming at sunrise and sunset. All!

I was thinking all the time, how did the wild rhododendrons, which are not commercial crops, survive? Why didn't it encounter man-made deforestation and destruction such as land reclamation and forestation? Why has no one thought of using this land to grow some cash crops? Is it because Guizhou is developing slowly? Because this land is barren and not suitable for planting other cash crops? Or because of something else? No matter what the reason is, this piece of Rhododendron azalea has not been cleared up and cut down, and it has not been turned into commercial and residential land, so we have the opportunity to see its charm and beauty.

Nowadays, Rhododendron azaleas are very popular. Every late spring from March to May is the peak flowering period, which is the season for viewing flowers. Generally, around the Ching Ming Festival is the time when azaleas are in full bloom. Red, pink, and white azaleas of various colors bloom all over the mountains and fields, attracting groups of people who come here to enjoy the flowers. Tourism has boosted the local economy.

Before entering the scenic spot, you have already been attracted by the characteristic Baihua gate of the scenic spot. Huge flowers hang above the gate, and the journey of Rhododendrons begins here.

Baili Rhododendron is divided into two scenic spots, Jinpo Scenic Area and Pudi Scenic Area. We first arrived at Jinpo Scenic Area. Driving into the sea of flowers on a battery car, the rhododendrons along the way attracted us to marvel again and again. Those big flowers were hanging on the trees and showing off to us. The tender green woods on both sides of the road are also stretching in front of our eyes.

Here is the world of flowers and the ocean of flowers. Rhododendrons of different colors are blooming all over the mountains and plains, warmly welcoming the arrival of spring. There is a large square in the scenic area, and a huge stone statue of the Miao flower fairy carrying a flower basket stands on one side of the square, welcoming every visitor with her smile.

There is a four-story "Wanhua Building" in the scenic area. Standing on the upper floor overlooking the hundred miles of azaleas is really a shock! This is a hilly forest-like sea of flowers, surrounded by century-old rhododendron trees several people high on the undulating hills, competing to bloom red, pink and white rhododendrons, among the green mountains and green trees, the clouds are flourishing, Cluster after cluster, it blooms so enthusiastically, so gorgeously and colorfully, like a cloud of colored ribbons encircling the entire valley.

Across this sea of flowers, there are green fields, blue mountains, and white villages in the distance, as if you have come to a paradise, and the colorful rhododendrons make this land so beautiful.

In the scenic area, there is a suspension bridge surrounded by blooming rhododendrons, which spans from one mountain to another. It is people's favorite place. It seems that you can see and touch the flowers at close range, but the suspension bridge is also the most crowded place. where everyone wants to take a photo with the azaleas.

Maybe we came late, and the flowers have withered a lot, but the red rhododendrons that are still blooming for a long time are like a fire, burning the entire scenic spot.

I mostly shoot big scenes, let the rhododendrons cover my lens, and shoot the momentum of the azaleas. If there is a drone to shoot, the angle of the sky eye will capture the spectacular scene of the whole Baili Rhododendron. On the contrary, if you want to take a good picture of a rhododendron that grows like a ball, it is not easy to take a good picture. The position is too far and the growth is too dense, and it is not easy to compose the picture and take a good picture.

I stayed in Jinpo Scenic Area for too long, and it was already 2:30 in the afternoon when I arrived at Pudi Scenic Area. We just took a cursory glance. The most frustrating thing was that the battery of the camera was dead, and we didn’t take the spare battery with us, so we had to take a few pictures with our mobile phone in a hurry, because we didn’t make more stops due to time constraints.

Pudi Scenic Area has its unique beauty. Going to the other end of the scenic spot, along the way, the rhododendrons with unique shapes stand on the side of the road, and there are green hills in the distance.

The small pavilion on the parking lot is surrounded by flowers, attracting many tourists. A taller pavilion stands on the top of a towering mountain, and there is no time to climb it, only to look up at it.

I met a kid wearing a blue national costume who was taking pictures, and couldn’t help taking pictures. Unexpectedly, the kid suddenly pointed at me and said: Don’t take pictures! No shooting! It was so embarrassing. Why? The mother of the child standing next to me explained to me that she paid someone to take pictures, so no one else was allowed to take pictures.

In this scenic spot, the students voluntarily grouped up to take pictures, and left our laughter in this world of flowers. Every combination has a story, every combination makes everyone laugh, and every combination reminds us of the good times when we were young.

When I returned to Guiyang in the evening, the enthusiastic sister Yuer invited everyone to eat authentic Guizhou cuisine. Qian Xiaoshuai brought from Maotai Town became hot wine on the dinner table. I raised my glass to say goodbye to my classmates. After dinner, I will leave everyone and go to Join the photography group, continue the trip to Qiandongnan, Guizhou, and agree to meet again at the Taijiang Sisters Festival, participate in this grand local national festival together, and experience the local long table banquet together!

April 17 Guiyang - Langde Shangzhai - Xijiang Miao Village

The Miao village where the Olympic torch passed through——Langde Shangzhai

After breakfast, we drove for more than an hour to arrive at Langde Shangzhai after a long absence. I remember that the first time I went to Langde Shangzhai was during the May 1st Golden Week in 2005. I took a van overnight with a few photography enthusiasts and drove overnight from Guangzhou to Guizhou for more than 20 hours (there was no expressway at that time) , Went to Langde Shangzhai, left a deep impression.

More than ten years have passed, I don't know what happened to Lang De Shangzhai? Can it withstand the infiltration and erosion of commercialization?

With doubts and the feeling of revisiting the old place, I walked into Langde Shangzhai. The bus stopped outside the scenic spot and looked at the gate of the scenic spot and the buildings inside the gate, but I couldn't recognize its original appearance at all. Is this Lang De Shangzhai?

But when we crossed Langde Intangible Cultural Heritage Street and Fengfeng Bridge, took a battery car, and drove along the road on the side of the mountain to the stockade, the memories came back to our minds little by little. It turns out that the street of intangible cultural heritage was built later, no wonder I don’t recognize it.

The stockade is still the same stockade, it is surrounded by mountains and rivers, quiet and pure. The wooden houses are distributed on the hillside, in the green mountains, and its ancient buildings are listed as key cultural relics protection units in my country. On the river in front of the village, there is a magnificent Wind and Rain Bridge. It is said that it was built for the Olympic torch, and the Olympic torch passed by.

The gate of "Langde Shangzhai" is still the same as before, and I feel very cordial. It's just that we arrived late and the welcoming activities have ended, which is very regrettable. When entering Langde Shangzhai, you must first drink twelve roadblock wines (welcome wine), which is a repertoire for all Miao villages. However, because of the special geographical environment of Langde Shangzhai, its road-blocking wine is particularly unique, allowing you to fully experience the enthusiasm of the villagers of Langde Shangzhai from the bottom of the slope to the top of the slope along the narrow path. .

The gate of the village is built on a long slope, and roadblock wine is placed along the way. Miao men playing Lusheng stand on the ridge of the slope and dance while blowing, while Miao women carry pots and cups, wine glasses full of liquor and Bull Horn Glass Interceptor Every tourist who enters the village can only enter this gate after drinking this wine. A total of twelve drinks are required! The Miao girls sang and toasted, and the tourists happily drank one sip after another. What is unhygienic is completely ignored at this time. The most important thing is to be able to enter the gate of the village, and the most important thing is to be happy! Twelve courses of wine continued into a long and orderly welcome team, becoming a special landscape. The welcome event is held twice a day, at 10:30 am and 4:30 pm. Don't miss it when you come to Langde Shangzhai.

Lang De Shangzhai’s performance in the inner square is an original ecological performance. The actors are all villagers. Participating in the performance activities used to be credited as work points, but now they may be paid directly. It is an activity for the whole village. The ground of the square is paved with circles of stones, surrounded by low wooden houses with tiled roofs. Several rows of stools are arranged in front of the village museum on a first-come, first-served basis. When we arrived, the performances were going on in the square. We only caught up with the second half and watched the last three shows: Golden Pheasant Dance, Lusheng Dance, and Great Reunion.

For more than ten years, the program has not changed, and the location of the performance has not changed. The only thing that has changed is that the house behind the small square used to be the cultural relics museum of Lang De Shangzhai, but it is a new wooden house. We lived upstairs in this house at the beginning, 5 yuan per person per night, one bed and one mosquito net, mixed sex, no bathroom, in order to watch the performance from the best position and the best perspective. It is said that a fire broke out in a certain year and burned down the original building, so the current house was built on the original site, which is a bit eye-catching among the old houses.

For more than ten years, the actors have changed one after another. The young girl back then has long been someone else's wife, the guy who played the reed has already entered middle age, and the reed master who was in his prime has already entered old age. It can be seen that most of the performance team are old people, maybe young people have gone out to work. The iron pillar stands in the middle of the square. It was used as a prop for the performance of "Up the Mountain of Swords and Down the Sea of Fire", but now it stands there quietly, because the show can no longer be passed on and has been suspended for many years. I was thinking in my heart, I don’t know how many years later, when the current group of old people playing Lusheng are gone, will there be anyone who can succeed them? The things of the nation are the most precious things. If they are lost, they will no longer be there. They must be passed on properly.

After the performance, we walked up the mountain road built with stones and slowly admired this Miao village, which is known as the hometown of Chinese folk song and dance art and the hometown of Lusheng. I met a free-range rooster on the mountain road. After staying in the city for a long time, I became interested in this big rooster, and kept shooting again and again. Climbing to the top of the mountain, I found the shooting angle, arc-shaped farmland and houses.

In the stockade, we met when the wedding banquet was in progress. Beside a big drum of the Miao family, a group of people were busy killing pigs. A black-haired pig raised by the Miao family was opened, and a large iron pot in front of the drum was burnt red, and pieces of pork were thrown into the cauldron. On the water, forming a unique scene.

It happened that a Miao girl with a big red flower on her head and delicate and fair skin walked by and said loudly, I am the bride! I am the bride! We immediately asked for a photo. The girl is really young, with a high bun on her head and a big red flower pinned to her side. Although she is not a beauty, she is simple and pleasant. She was very cooperative and let us take pictures and group photos.

Langde Shangzhai still maintains the simple and original ecological and natural features. The stone steps, the wooden buildings, the hanging corn, the free-range chickens on the road, the farmland next to the village, and the original performances all make Xiao Xiao The village exudes a strong atmosphere of Miao villages. The Olympic torch passed here back then, it must be because of its simplicity and primitiveness. It is said that Langde Shangzhai is one of the few ancient villages that can be completely preserved.

There are not many people on non-holidays. Walking in the empty ancient villages is like going back thousands of years ago. According to historical records, the ancestors of the Miao people were unwilling to be oppressed five thousand years ago. , built a family and business on the edge of the cliff, and after many years of reproduction and development, this Langde Shangzhai with a long history was born. Now this ancient village of Miao people has become a national key cultural relic protection unit, attracting tourists from all over the world to visit. .

For lunch, I found a family in the stockade, and they made it to order and ate it. The local pig bacon tastes great. Sitting on the small attic, looking at the rows of gray tile roofs and the well-arranged wooden houses, I feel the simplicity and nature here.

Encounter a special wedding in Qianhu Miao Village in Xijiang

This is the second time I have come to Xijiang Miao Village this year, and naturally my interest has faded a lot. However, the welcome wine event in the village outside the village still made people a little excited. The problem is, there are just too many tourists! A large number of tourists on the square outside the stockade intertwined with the villagers who participated in the welcome wine activity, and it was impossible to take pictures at all. Perhaps the villagers have long been used to this kind of scene, and it’s not surprising that the uncle playing the lusheng, the aunt who welcomes the guests, and the little girl who serves twelve wines are still doing what they should do in an orderly manner. most tourists. But the monotonous repetition every day seems to make the expressions or movements of these girls have been mechanically repeated, and they can't see the expressions, let alone their enthusiasm. If you want to take pictures, you can take pictures, and I don’t bother to answer you when you ask. Each small ox horn cup has become a souvenir of this visit.

The car only sent us to the parking lot outside the stockade, and we had to walk to the first wind and rain bridge to get the battery car to the hotel. Unexpectedly, the journey was quite long, and everyone walked very hard with the simple luggage and photographic equipment that must be used that night. The light is just right, and it is not convenient to take pictures with luggage in hand.

Finally came to the inn where we stayed that night - Xijiang Wangxijiang Inn, just beside the observation deck. The best thing is that there is a large platform on the roof, where you can take pictures and chat together. Through the window of the room, the dense wooden houses of Qianhu Miao Village can be seen at a glance! It's a pity that with such a good view, why didn't I think of building a small balcony outside the window when the inn was built? That would be perfect.

Although I came to Qianhu Miao Village again, the feeling is still different at different times and different seasons. Especially tonight, I will arrange a long table banquet to make up for the regret of last time. Stepping out of the inn, we started to visit Miao Village. The Miao village in spring is full of spring, the Miao village is hidden in the green trees, the mountains are green, the water is green, the tourists on the street are also more, and there is vitality everywhere.

In the fields, people lead horses and walk on the ridges, creating an idyllic scene. In front of the "Hou Granary" hotel, the waiters in Miao costumes were seriously doing exercises and shouting slogans, preparing to welcome the arrival of tourists at night.

A group of men and women carrying burdens walked quickly on the road by the river, with beaming smiles on their faces. What makes them so happy?

Beside the Fengyu Bridge by the river, a large pot was set up, and the fire was burning red. The chef was busy wielding a large spatula. There were several large pots of cooking ingredients around the stove, and it felt like an event was being prepared. A row of large pots were placed on the ground, and the big brothers and uncles were sitting on small benches and selling the food in the pots, which seemed to be cooked food. The side of the road was full of tourists, as if they were waiting for a meal.

Passing by the two-story Qingyun Terrace, many people gathered in front of the downstairs door, looking up. We also stopped curiously. This is what I heard someone say that upstairs is the bride and groom. One sentence is like enlightenment, and I immediately think of the men and women carrying the burden, the cauldron by the river, and the people gathering in the street. It turns out that this is a wedding! Before I could regain my composure, suddenly, candies were sprinkled on the Qingyun Tower, and they exploded in the crowd one by one; People are excited! Wave after wave of cheers and shouts, people raised their hands high, some even held cardboard boxes and jumped up to grab them, hoping to grab candies and renminbi. The scene was very lively. It was the first time I saw a Hmong get married, it turned out to be so special! It is true that everyone who sees has a share, and the whole people enjoy it together!

Dinner is a long table banquet at Miao's house in Qianling. It doesn't matter what you eat, the important thing is to feel the atmosphere of the long table banquet. The welcome wine that blocks the way is the meeting ceremony of the long table banquet. Walking into the banquet, the long table has already been set up, earthen bowls are turned upside down on the long table, and a red egg is placed on the bottom of each bowl. What does it mean?

The dishes were served one after another, and it felt pretty good. There were 7-8 kinds, and there were two hot pots. A team of people started eating around the long table, and another team next to it had already started eating, and the noise continued to affect us. The first dish to eat is to eat red eggs. The eggs must be beaten on the forehead. This is a good idea!

As they ate and ate, the older brothers and younger sisters of the Miao family sang songs to toast. After a round of drinking, they selected Brother Ye, who had the best capacity for alcohol, to experience the Miao family's drinking feature - "high mountains and flowing water". After drinking a glass of wine, another glass, the two sisters took turns, the last move: wine pot - wine pot - wine bowl, pouring wine while singing, although the mountain is not the highest (only two floors), the water is not the most Long (only two), but he has already drunk Brother Sun so much that he raised his hands and surrendered. The long table banquet ended in such a lively atmosphere.

After dinner, everyone rushed to take pictures of the night scene of Qianhu Miao Village. There were too many people queuing up to take the battery car, so I returned on foot. On the way, when the lights are on, the Miao girls beside the Fengyu Bridge are looking at their mobile phones. The black clothes are matched with a big red flower next to the bun on their heads, which is very beautiful. There was an open-air long-table banquet in progress; elder brothers and younger sisters at the door of a restaurant were playing lusheng and singing to attract guests.

As the sky gradually darkened, the lights of Wanjia in Miao Village gradually lit up the entire hillside, little by little yellow lights shone like stars in the night sky. It will be dark before it is dark, which is the most beautiful night scene of Qianhu Miao Village.

Take a nap on the viewing platform of the inn, enjoy the gentle breeze in the late spring of Qianhu Miao Village, and enjoy the beautiful night of the beautiful Xijiang River.

April 18· Itinerary: Qianhu Miao Village in Xijiang - Taijiang - Jianjiang

Ancient Oriental Valentine's Day - Taijiang Sisters' Day

The 2019 Sisters' Day was grandly held in Taijiang County on April 18! In order to photograph the process of Miao sisters dressing up before the parade, and to take advantage of the right time, place and people, we set off from the inn where Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village lived at 5:30, and took a pre-booked commercial vehicle to the gate of the village. Parking lot, then change to our bus. It was still dark, but we were all very excited. It is about 40 kilometers from Xijiang Miao Village to Taijiang County, passing through high mountains and crossing valleys, green mountains and white mountain fog are constantly flashing in front of our eyes. Now all areas in Guizhou have been connected with high-speed rail and built high-speed roads. The natural moat has become a thoroughfare, and the road without a three-foot-level road has become history.

We arrived in Taijiang County around 7:00 in the morning, and got off the bus in front of Taijiang Minority Middle School next to Wengjiang River, the starting point of the parade. .

Participating in the Taijiang Sisters Festival is an important purpose of our trip, and it is also the selling point of this trip. Although Leishan County has the longest history of Miao culture, Taijiang County holds the grandest annual Sisters' Festival. This Sisters’ Festival is held once a year, and it is the largest and most famous traditional festival for Miao compatriots in Southeast Guizhou. In 2006, it was included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list. The event was arranged for two days, but our event was only arranged for most of the day. On this day, you can see the costumes and costumes of the Miao nationality that you can't usually see, fully displaying the rich and colorful national costumes of the Miao people; you can participate in the banquet of thousands of tables, and experience which banquet is the longest; Thousands of people singing duets (unfortunately I didn't hear it)..., the program is rich and colorful.

The Miao Sisters' Festival has a long history and has been passed down to this day as a folk custom, marriage and social way. Eating sister meals is an important etiquette event on this festival. Sister rice is also a token that girls give to lovers to express their affection, and it is the most important symbol of the festival. It is centered on young Miao women. Amei brings a prepared five-color meal to invite lovers to sing in antiphonal songs, eat sister meals, dance reed wood drums, give tokens to each other, and make marriage contracts. It is known as "the festival hidden in the stamen" and "the oldest oriental Valentine's Day". It is usually held on the fifteenth to seventeenth day of the third lunar month. On the 13th day of the third month of the lunar calendar, sisters from all villages go up to the mountains to pick leaves of nanzhumu leaves, sister flowers and other flowers and plants, and make black, red, yellow, blue and white glutinous rice. Wind and Rain Bridge is often used as a place for tourists to sing antiphonally.

It was still early, so we took a taxi to the main venue - Xiumei Square. I saw the sky was clear, the sun was shining brightly, the sky was blue and white clouds, the red lanterns were hung high, dancing in the wind, and both sides of the Wengjiang River were filled with festive atmosphere.

We didn't stop too much, and took a taxi back to the starting point of the cruise. The men, women and children who participated in the event came here one after another and began to dress themselves up. This is exactly what we were looking for. Everyone finds their own goals. Most of the participants are women, adults and children, young and old. They wear national costumes that are usually treasured and only worn on festivals and important days. The red, blue and black patterns and colors are various, dazzling people.

Suddenly I saw a beautiful woman, a young woman with a child, with a fair face and fair skin, plus her cute little daughter, which made me focus on her. The elegant embroidered dress and floor-length skirt on her body, as well as the silver ornaments on both adults and children, made me look at them more and take more photos. It was a particularly fine day, but the temperature was so high that it was difficult to equip them fully.

As I was walking, I met a young woman with three children whose mother-in-law was helping her dress. My mother-in-law told me proudly that my daughter-in-law even wore this beautiful dress to Beijing! It is indeed so beautiful! Those uneven and three-dimensional relief-like silver pieces, the heavy hollow-out necklace, tiara, earrings, rings, handkerchiefs... everything is so delicate and beautiful. It opened my eyes. I weighed the three-layer collar with my hand. It was very heavy, weighing a few kilograms. It seemed to be the thickest collar with the most layers I had seen. It is difficult for one person to wear these clothes, and it must be done with the help of other people. The old woman happily and patiently helped her daughter-in-law get dressed, and the daughter-in-law helped her mother-in-law get dressed. They gladly accepted my request to take a group photo, so I have these photos and this record.

The biggest highlight of Miao costumes is the silver ornaments all over the body. Everything that can be decorated from head to toe is decorated with silver ornaments. Xiaole, the local companion, told us that collars and bracelets can only be made of Miao silver, they cannot be remelted, and can only be passed down from generation to generation. The silver crown and the silver pieces on the clothes are made of new silver. Miao Yin's high-relief craft was included in the national intangible cultural heritage in 2006. In the past, silversmithing was a very enviable industry. People who enjoyed food and drink hot food had no worries about food and clothing throughout their lives. Even if they had daughters, they wanted to marry silversmiths. In recent years, with the progress of society and the entry and improvement of automation, this kind of Miao silver craftsmanship is slowly being lost. Silversmiths, who are regarded as the iron rice bowls of Miao civil servants, are losing their jobs.

Finally met the men who participated in the event! The big brothers playing the reeds are wearing black clothes; the old uncles are wearing purple-blue gowns and top hats; the young brothers are wearing black tops made of special materials (it feels a bit like xiangyunsha) ), wearing a head cloth, still full of energy and vitality. Of course, compared to women, men's clothing is much more monotonous.

The activity of the party in costumes starts at 10:00, and the team of the party has already formed a long queue, forming dozens of phalanxes, and the costumes of each phalanx are different and have their own representativeness. For example, skirts include long skirts, short skirts, and even muffin skirts. There are drum team, children's team, dragon boat team and so on. I have been walking towards the tail of the team, hoping to catch every square team in one go. But still failed.

The Taijiang Sisters Tour has begun. This is a grand event to display Miao costumes. A total of more than 10,000 people from 9 different branches of the Miao nationality formed a traveling team to perform. According to different branches and different costumes, the traveling party forms dozens of square formations, dressed in national costumes, stepping on the sound of wooden drums and Lusheng music, the beauty is full of empty alleys. The ancient and beautiful legends are all in front of your eyes, which makes you feel extremely novel and fresh. You can't help but be deeply moved by the love and pursuit of beauty and a better life by the Miao people. Youfang's team marched slowly along the Wengni River in the direction of Daode Park and Xinfengfeng Bridge.

There are more and more tourists, it is more and more difficult to shoot, and the weather is getting hotter. At this time, I quit and continued to follow the wandering team, walked to the other side of the Wengni River, slowly enjoying the scenery on both sides of the river, looking for the figures of my classmates. After breaking up with everyone after the filming of the Hundred Acres of Rhododendron, I met my classmates. I will see you today at the Taijiang Sisters’ Festival, and we will participate in a thousand-person long table banquet together.

I walked all the way to the Xinfengyu Bridge, and before I got on the bridge, I saw a few familiar figures of my classmates. Their special red "faxiao" T-shirts were so eye-catching that people could stand out among a group of people at a glance. make out. It is a joy to meet again, and to participate in the long table banquet of thousands of people with my classmates.

One of the activities of the Taijiang Sisters' Festival is the Long Table Banquet for Thousands of People. The long table banquet for thousands of people is the highest form and grand etiquette of Miao banquets, with a history of thousands of years. It is usually used for meeting relatives and marrying daughters, and full moon wine banquets. Usually the left side is the host's seat, and the right side is the guest's seat. The host and the guest face each other, toast and drink and sing to the wine. The long table banquet is arranged on the long embankments on both sides of the Wengni River, starting at 12 noon. It is said that this year's long table banquet is very popular, and it is hard to get a ticket, so it is necessary to book in advance. Thanks to the help of classmates and comrades-in-arms, they helped us make reservations in advance, and got the dining coupons for the long table banquet, which were arranged at tables 11 and 12. It is really very lucky to be able to get a seat in the Long Table Banquet of Thousands of People.

Qin Sheng and Yu'er danced to the Lusheng music.

Si Ning and Xiao Hui drank the welcome wine in the Lusheng at the entrance,

This is the longest banquet I have ever seen, with long tables that can't be seen at a glance. It was the longest dinner I've ever had in my life, and it was also the most attended. The hosts or guests from all over the place sat across from each other on the small benches on both sides of the long table, drinking, eating, laughing and making noises, very lively. Gathered at the long table banquet with my classmates, the special red T-shirts of our group were the most eye-catching (except for me).

Don't ask what to eat at the long table banquet, just to have a happy atmosphere. Before the banquet even started, the lusheng sounded, and the welcome wine began to be drunk. As the long table feast is in full swing, the girl presenting wine accompanied by Lusheng will deliver cups of sweet glutinous rice wine to your mouth while singing. It was lively and happy!

After the long table banquet, I have to say goodbye to my classmates again. I continued to follow the photography group to other scenic spots. I stayed at Jianjiang Hot Spring Hotel that night, and the conditions were quite good. I took a good bath and laundry, washed off the stinky sweat, and had a good night's sleep.

April 19 Itinerary: Jianjiang - Laotun Village - Changtan Village - Zhenyuan Ancient Town

The birthplace of the Sisters Festival - Laotun Village

The Taijiang Sisters Festival is not limited to Taijiang County, but also in Shidong Town and Laotun Township. In fact, it is a festival for the Miao people in the whole county!

Departing at 7:30 in the morning, we left Jianjiang County and went to Laotun Village in Laotun Township. We took the county road, which is said to be the birthplace of the Taijiang Sisters Festival. Today there must be a lot of tourists and photographers who are interested in Miao culture and customs, and I hope to arrive as soon as possible.

The weather seems to have changed a bit, with thick fog covering the county town and covering the mountains.

Passing by Shidong Town, I saw a teacher in national costume leading the beautifully dressed children in the car, passing by our car, it must be to participate in the local sisters festival!

Soon came to Laotun Village, entered the village through an inconspicuous gate built with branches. I saw that the villagers were busy preparing for the Sisters' Day. The roads on both sides are filled with all kinds of Miao handmade embroidery and handicrafts, like a big market for Miao handicrafts. The girls wore beautiful embroidered clothes and silver ornaments, and carried out colorful glutinous rice, which was placed behind the gate of the village, attracting many tourists, and the front and back of the gate of the village were completely surrounded.

It is said that Laotun Village is the birthplace of the "Miao Sisters Festival". Every year on March 15th in the lunar calendar, it is a gathering festival for young men and women in Laotun area to choose a spouse and fall in love. On the eve of the festival, the girls soak the glutinous rice with the juice of flowers and plants, and steam it into colorful glutinous rice. They hide tokens in the glutinous rice and wrap them in new handkerchiefs or baskets. In the evening, the girls bury their love for the young man in colorful glutinous rice and give it to the young man. The festival calendar lasts 3 days. During the festival, the girls wear beautiful embroidered dresses and the most exquisite silver jewelry, and play drums, dance and sing antiphonally with the boys to their heart's content. Sisters' Day, a festival hidden in the stamen, is full of mysteries and national characteristics. Let us be full of expectations here, looking forward to seeing the original folk customs.

When you come to the countryside, of course you have to go to the village to compare the differences between country people and city people. Walking along the country path to the village, the rural atmosphere blows in your face. Dustpans, fences, firewood, wooden houses, and naughty little boys, they ran away when they saw us.

Wandering around the village, I went to a family of five people, old and young, of three generations, all dressed up to participate in the sisters' festival in the village. A very simple family, let us take pictures. The most outstanding one is the little brother, wearing a small brown jacket with a silver belt around his waist. From the beginning, he was shy and shy, always avoiding our camera; later, he was cheerful and optimistic, and took the initiative to poke his head into our camera forward. I followed them, starting from when they were getting dressed, to the place where they went out of the house to participate in the activities, and took pictures as they walked, capturing their happiest moments.

We didn't stay in Laotun Village for a long time, because the place is too narrow, and the start time of the activity has been uncertain. The simple gate of the village was crowded with photographers who came to watch the event. It is not an exaggeration to use the four words "watertight" to describe it. We decided to move over to Long Beach Village, which also had a Sisters' Day event.

The Hometown of Canoe Champions - Changtan Village

Changtan Village belongs to a village in Laotun Township. Not far from Laotun Village, I passed by in the morning. When you come to Long Beach Village, the venue for activities here is much more open. The music of the Miao nationality has already sounded in the square, and the folks in national costumes gathered around a pile of firewood for lighting the bonfire, stepping on the beat of the music. The atmosphere of the event was immediately mobilized. Several Miao women walked onto the stage confidently, picked up the microphone, and sang Miao songs and long tunes.

Long Beach Village is known as the hometown of canoe champions. This is a village surrounded by mountains and rivers, and it is also a village where high-speed trains can be seen speeding past. There is a green river flowing by the stockade, and a cable-stayed bridge crosses both ends of the river.

A boat with a special shape is parked by the river, and there are two small canoes sandwiched next to a long canoe. Men wearing yellow hats and brown jackets are photographed standing in a row on a canoe boat, rowing while standing. It is said that the dragon boat race here is standing and paddling, let us open our eyes! The canoe in the middle is hewn from a whole tree. It is said that there are many big trees in the forest here that can only be surrounded by such a few people.

The activity was arranged for "Hundred Cattle Making Spring Plowing", and the activity location was just under the elevated railway bridge. I went late, and when I arrived at the event site, it was almost over, and I only managed to take a few photos of farming. For me, who once went to the countryside to work in agriculture, the experience in my youth made me both familiar and unfamiliar with this scene. Those ridges of paddy fields and those industrious big buffaloes gave me a long-lost intimacy; but it seems strange that this primitive farming mode is still maintained after decades.

I have been to Guizhou twice this year, and what impressed me the most is that the bridges are open and the traffic has changed a lot. It is said that Guizhou Province is the only province in the country where every state (prefecture-level city) has a train service, which makes us look at it with admiration. Now in this small village, you can also see the high-speed rail speeding across the viaduct.

On the way back, I saw an interesting side. I met several groups of foreigners who seemed to be interested in traditional festivals in rural China. Maybe it was because I was tired from walking, but I actually sat on the edge of the field and rested my feet, watching with great interest the old farmer leading the ox. The foreigner patted the ox, and I patted the foreigner. In one picture, the contrast formed is particularly interesting. A friend who lives and works abroad all the year round commented on the "special foreigner-style picture".

The tourist facilities in Changtan Village are not very complete, so we couldn't find a place to eat for lunch. It was too hot at noon, so we hid in the open village clinic to rest. When the working hours came, three doctors and nurses came one after another, one of them was a woman. All three are Hmong. During the chat, I learned some customs of the Miao family. Speaking of Miao Yin, the female nurse said that when she was born, her grandmother gave her two silver bracelets, a silver collar, and a silver bellyband. Later, when her mother had some money, she added silver ornaments to her. As she grew older and the size of her clothes changed, her silver ornaments changed round after round. Until she got married, it became her dowry. These silver ornaments will be passed down from generation to generation as family heirlooms. Therefore, in the Miao nationality, a daughter cannot marry without a dowry of silver ornaments. In the Miao people, everyone likes to have daughters. Girls are very precious. They don't need to go to the fields, they just need to embroider at home.

After leaving Changtan Village, we walked the county road and mountain road for another two hours, and we came to Zhenyuan Ancient Town.

Visit the Millennium Ancient Town——Zhenyuan

This is the second time I have come to this ancient town with a history of more than 2,000 years this year. The ancient town is still there, but two months have passed. Stay at Yuegulou Inn that night, Linjiang. There is a small balcony on which you can take pictures of the Holy Bridge. The Wuyang River under the clear sky in late spring, the emerald green water is clear and bright, and the Zhusheng Bridge across the Wuyang River is reflected in it, which is very beautiful!

In the evening, a few photographers met at the Zhusheng Bridge by the Wuyang River for dinner, eating local delicacies, and feeling the leisure time by the Wuyang River.

Shoot the night view of the ancient town at night. The night view is the most charming view of Zhenyuan Ancient Town. As night fell and the lights came on, the ancient city of Zhenyuan was covered with a gorgeous coat. The building lights on both sides of the new bridge are lit up, and the beautiful night view of the pavilions is reflected in the water of the Wuyang River, like a beautiful picture scroll, like a dream.

The purple, red, blue, and blue lights on the Zhusheng Bridge interweave and change, bringing visual impact and modern elements to this ancient stone bridge, and radiating new life.

The night life of the ancient town is rich and colorful under the night. On the embankment on the south bank of the Wuyang River, the lights were brilliant, and the surrounding food stalls were on fire, all occupied by tables and chairs.

April 20   Itinerary: Zhenyuan Ancient Town—Zhaoxing Dong Village

Zhenyuan ancient alley with a long history

Zhenyuan, an ancient town in Guizhou with a history of more than 2,000 years, has many cultural relics, ancient streets and alleys in the city, winding paths, stone bridges and city walls, and clear water and morning mist.

Today is Guyu, the drizzle of the night brought warmth to the ancient town, and the morning mist floated gently from the Wuyang River.

Early morning after the rain is the best time to visit the ancient town. Walking out of the inn, the bluestone floor on the street was as wet as a layer of water, and the street was quiet with few pedestrians. In addition to selling breakfast, most shops are still closed. We have time to stroll on the ancient street, measure the bluestone slabs step by step, and slowly look at this ancient street, it seems that we can feel its eternal charm. The millennium-old ancient buildings preserved on both sides of the street seem to be of Huizhou style but not of Huizhou style. They are masterpieces of the wisdom and craftsmanship of the craftsmen at that time. If an architect can explain to me the characteristics of these buildings at this time, it must be very impressive.

When you come to Zhenyuan, you must visit the ancient alleys hidden deep in the ancient town on the hillside. This is the place that best embodies the essence of this ancient town, and it is the embodiment of the original residential buildings of the ancient town. We entered from Sifang Ancient Alley and exited from Fuxing Alley, and experienced what is a high wall and deep courtyard, and what is an ancient path leading to seclusion.

The ancient lanes are sandwiched between the high walls on both sides, narrow, long and deep, with intricate structures, including Shipaifang Lane, Sifangjing Lane, Fuxing Lane, and Chenjiajing Lane. . . . . These intersecting, winding and interconnected alleys constitute the blood of Zhenyuan ancient city. Every bluestone slab and every blue brick linking every laneway records historical relics, weeping about the vicissitudes of the thousand-year-old town.

Apart from the two sides of the main street, most of the ancient residential buildings in Zhenyuan Ancient Town are built along the hillside. These ancient dwellings have both the style of Jiangnan courtyards and the layout of mountainous buildings. This perfect combination of Jiangnan and mountains gives the residential buildings in Zhenyuan a unique charm.

"Crooked ways" is a unique characteristic of Zhenyuan residential buildings. All the gates of the houses next to the alleys will never be parallel or perpendicular to the alleys, and the alleys will never face the hall. Instead, the direction of the doors is deliberately turned at an angle to face the street obliquely, which is the so-called "Evil" (obliquely) said. The old residents said that the "crooked" and "slanted" are in accordance with the saying of Feng Shui: "respecting the south" is a sign of wealth and honor, and it can "not reveal wealth".

Sifangjing laneway, named after Sifangjing, is one of the famous ancient wells in the Qianlong period. It is said that no matter how many droughts there have been in history, the well has never dried up. There is a beautiful legend about Sifang Well. It is said that there is a scholarly family in Sifangjing Lane in Zhenyuan, and there is a beautiful, well-educated daughter in the family. This woman with both talent and wisdom attracted countless young men to propose marriage, and the threshold was almost broken, and finally she was embraced by a young man named "Yu Bao".

In Fuxing Lane, I saw a house, which seems to be used as a homestay, and is allowed to visit. This is a Quan family's house built in the middle of the Qing Dynasty. It is surrounded by mountains and forms an irregular courtyard with two entrances. It preserves the two wing rooms of the Shikumen and the surrounding wall, which is 4-6 meters high. It is divided into east and west courtyards, with the roof of green tiles hanging through the gate. It must have been a big family back then.

A friend in Guangzhou gave me the address of a B&B in Zhenyuan Ancient Town. She and her daughter stayed here for two nights, and it was quite good. It's a pity that the small program can't be opened. I wanted to check it out and make a stop for a few days of rest in the future.

The No. 1 Dong village in the world——Zhaoxing Dong village

Zhaoxing Dong village enjoys "the first village in Dong township", "the six most beautiful ancient rural towns in China", "the 33 most attractive tourist destinations in the world", "the largest ethnic museum in the world", " The last home of the world", "the oldest ballad preserved by human beings", the United Nations World Cultural Foundation has identified it as the top ten tourist destinations in the world for "returning to the truth, returning to nature", and the world's 18 ecological cultures awarded by the World Rural Culture Protection Foundation Protection circles (there are two in Asia, except Qiandongnan and the other is Tibet, China) and many other good names. Makes me look forward to it.

After breakfast, head to Zhaoxing Dong Village, and drive for nearly 4 hours to the parking lot outside the Dong Village. A huge head crown of the Miao people and a group of iconic Drum Towers in the Dong village make us immediately feel the strong ethnic customs. This square was built for the 2018 Spring Festival Gala Zhaoxing Dongzhai branch venue. It was the first time that Zhaoxing Dongzhai appeared on CCTV and conquered the audience with its unique charm.

The most striking thing about the Zhaoxing Dong Village is the Drum Tower complex at the entrance of the village. Although it is newly built, its high and low staggered beauty is the focus of our shooting. We will shoot this drum tower complex at different times and places. During the day, green rice fields are in front of it; in the evening, behind it are mountains and gray-black tiled roofs in the twilight; at night, the light makes its shadow reflect in the shimmering paddy fields, and this is its most beautiful moment.

When we walked to the parking spot of the shuttle bus, our eyes lit up, and we were immediately attracted by the special shape of the Drum Tower buildings in front of us. Although I have seen its photos many times, I was a little excited to see it on the spot. Unseen scenery. A green paddy field supports a gray-black drum tower complex with ethnic characteristics. The contrast of colors, plane and three-dimensional contrast makes this drum tower complex full of artistic sense and vitality. Not only applaud the wonderful idea of the designer!

Zhaoxing is most famous for its Drum Tower. The Drum Tower is the symbol of the Dong village. As a symbol of the Dong culture, it is the spiritual pillar of the Dong people. According to the data, there are 628 Drum Towers in Dong Village in China, among which there are 328 Drum Towers in Liping County alone, and in Zhaoxing, there are 5 Drum Towers in one village, so it is known as the "Hometown of Drum Towers". People gather, socialize, and relax here. The appearance, height, and size of the five drum towers are all different, and they are magnificent. But I failed to photograph the five drum towers.

Because of these five drum towers, Zhaoxing is known as "the No. 1 Dong village in the world". The villagers of Zhaoxing Dong Village live in five natural areas, which are called "Tuan" locally. These five ancient buildings are called "Ren Tuan, Yi Tuan, Li Tuan, Zhi Tuan, and Xin Tuan" respectively. These five drum towers already have a history. The Drum Tower is generally supported by a towering pillar, four large pillars standing on the ground, and twelve auxiliary pillars, which represent the four seasons of the year and December. The whole body was built without using a single nail. The lower part of the Drum Tower is hollow. , similar to a miniature square, which can shelter from the wind and rain, and fully embodies the wisdom of the Dong people.

A Drum Tower accompanies a Flower Bridge. These Drum Towers and Flower Bridges have a history at a glance. It is understood that the current Zhaoxing Dong village is composed of five villages, each with a drum tower, a flower bridge and a stage. So each has five bridges, five drum towers, and five theaters. Zhaoxing River passes through the village. Local residents live along the river, and the whole village is full of life. Local villagers often sit in the flower bridge, enjoy the cool and chat.

A Zhaoxing River that is only a few meters wide passes through the village, bringing aura and vitality to the village, as well as good Fengshui. Both sides of the small river are full of small wooden buildings with 3-4 floors, you are next to me, and I am next to you, arranged in a winding way along the river. The flower bridge crossed from the top, the river flowed down, and we walked back and forth a few times along the path by the river to experience the simple livelihood and customs of the people.

Unfortunately, only two photos were taken of the wedding custom activities in the village that day.

A few large iron pots and chimneys surrounded by bark-like cement can often be seen by the river. They are so special and have aroused my curiosity many times. Not sure when these stoves and cauldrons were used? It happened that one was in use, and the guy told us that 60 rabbits were boiled in the pot!

On both sides of the river, there are rows of stilted buildings, embellishing the whole Dong village in a simple and peaceful way. Walking to a stage, there are long tables, stools and tableware under the stage. It seems that there will be a special event here at night. Folk customs make people feel that today's Zhaoxing Dong Village still retains its unique original style after a thousand years of history.

Dongzhai is also the hometown of batik. There is a batik museum where you can learn about the whole process of batik and experience the art and fun of batik. It is said that the raw material of those blue dyes is Radix Isatidis which can be used for medicine! You can't think of it, can you?

Along the river, you can often see villagers doing batik by hand, and hanging long strips of dyed cloth to dry. Those long dyed cloths drying in the sun constitute a special picture, a picture with artistic and strong local flavor.

There is a row of ethnic costume rental shops beside Zhaimen Lake in the Dongzhai Scenic Area. Colorful Miao costumes are hung on both sides of the street. You can rent clothes according to your preferences. Usually 20 yuan / hour a set.

Maybe this is the last stop on this trip where we can shoot fashion shows, so we also thought about it. Under the command of Master Antelope, the three chose three sets of costumes of different colors, came to the edge of the field and came to the Drum Tower, pretending to be the real and fake sister Miao, and learning every move of the antelope. That taste is also considered to be after leaving the Miao Village and the Dong Village, leaving a beautiful image of myself in Miao national costumes.

When you come to Zhaoxing Dong Village, you must climb high and look far away in order to appreciate the magnificence of the Dong Village. There is a scenic viewing platform (on the mountain opposite the starting point of the sightseeing car ride) is the best location. Before dark, we boarded the viewing platform to take pictures of the Dongzhai gate. We arrived late, and the viewing platform was full of people. Standing on a high place, you can have a panoramic view of the entire Dong village, and the gates of the drum tower group highlight its distinctive momentum. As night fell slowly, the lights of the Drum Tower slowly lit up, and the densely packed gray tiled roofs rose and fell among the valleys, crowding the mountains. In the distance, 5 drum towers lit up, like a torch, dotted the gray area. Only then did I see the 5 drum towers in Zhaoxing Dong Village clearly.

Nearby, several high and low staggeredly connected together, the lights of the Drum Tower and Qunzhai Gate form a ring, and all the buildings are lit up, which is stunning and resplendent! The shadows reflected in the water are colorful and lifelike. This is the most distinctive night scene I have ever seen. The Dongzhai gate at night is so dreamy and beautiful.

Encounter the "Smear Festival" - smear you with a big face

Today is the Grain Rain Festival, which is also the "Smear Festival" of Zhaoxing Dong Village, and it is a Valentine's Day for young Dong men and women. For this festival, on the evening of the originally planned Grain Rain Festival, the engaged man’s family in Zhaoxing Dong Village will send a lot of black rice to the woman’s family as an engagement gift. And other young men who used to sing and confine with the girl will also rush to the girl's house, throw the bamboo baskets for the rice into the girl's house, wait for the girl to fill it with black rice, and then lower their heads to get it inside. , in order to express the attachment and blessing to the girl who is about to get married. According to the traditional custom in the past, when other men went to beg for bamboo baskets filled with black rice, the woman's family would smear their faces with ash from the bottom of the pot. So it is also called the Smear Festival.

In the past, pot bottom ash was used to smear faces, but now gas or electricity are used for cooking and cooking. There is no pot bottom ash to use, so batik paint (blue scorpion) is used, and a copy is 5 yuan. As night fell, starting at 6 o'clock, the main street and various intersections, there were continuous bursts of screams and laughter, and they began to slap their faces! People who didn't know each other walked towards each other, and they were wiped off unexpectedly. The face is instantly flushed.

We photographed the night scenes of the Drum Tower Group until it got too dark and we couldn’t shoot any more. Which way to go back to the hotel? The main road is close, but the chance of being spent is high; the small road is far away, but it is relatively safe. We didn't want to be spent, so we chose to take the path and covered our faces with the Ranger scarf. We saw tourists with painted faces on the way, which still caused us to exclaim, our companions wanted to take pictures with painted faces, but they were taken out of nowhere! I used the tripod to successfully block the hand that wanted to "flower" me. So trembling back to the inn.

Because of this "smear festival", we dared not go out of the gate of the inn, and missed the night scene shooting in the stockade that night. Of course, some brave people went to experience a unique smear festival regardless of the "danger" of being smeared.

It has long been heard that the Dong folk songs in Zhaoxing Dong Village are very famous. The Dong songs have melodious tones and beautiful melody. I wanted to take this opportunity to feast my ears, but I didn't expect to meet the Grain Rain Festival (smearing festival), and the Grain Rain Festival in Zhaoxing Dong Village was interpreted as a carnival with painted faces! Due to the conflict of time, the big song of the Dong nationality was cancelled, and the only thing to watch was "Painting Face". That night, the entire Zhaoxing Dong Village became a "carnival night", a sea of "painted faces", and an adventure that we had lingering fears about.

That night, there was loud thunder outside the window, and the downpour continued, which made me skeptical about whether the rest of the trip could continue. In particular, I have lingering fears about the serious flight delays caused by thunderstorms in recent days, and I am worried that it will be difficult to return as scheduled. So, my companion discussed with me and decided to give up the last two points: Jiabang Terraced Fields and Basha Miao Village. Although I have longed for it for a long time, I still reluctantly give up my love, leave some regrets, and go again next time.

April 21 Itinerary Zhaoxing Dong Village——Guangzhou

Goodbye Zhaoxing Dong Village! Goodbye Guizhou!

In the early morning, we sent everyone off, and then wandered freely in the stockade. The heavy rain overnight made the river turbid, made the green trees more verdant, and made the stilted buildings on both sides of the river more colorful. After walking through the Fengyu Bridge that I had never walked yesterday, I came to a B&B inn with better landscape facilities.

Go to the Zhaimen and Landscape Lake in the Dongzhai Scenic Area again, where the pastoral scenery is very beautiful.

Walking along the riverside plank road to the west of the stockade, it seems that you have reached the end of the stockade, where you seem to meet the life scenes of the local people and live a more down-to-earth life. I met many fellow villagers with turbans on their heads, which seemed to be unique, and they were different from the other people I saw in the village.

The wonderful trip to Guizhou in April came to an end, leaving behind a lot of memories and pictures of Guizhou, and eager expectations for the next trip to Guizhou. Nowadays, when domestic tourism is booming, people are flocking everywhere, and tickets are so expensive, Guizhou is really the best choice, where you can enjoy depth, leisure, outdoor food, scenery, folk customs, ancient times and entertainment. In particular, the policy of free tickets for the elderly over 60 years old, and the half-ticket price of the provinces that provide assistance to Guizhou, are enough to attract repeat customers one after another.

At noon, we took the high-speed rail and got on the train at Congjiang Railway Station to return to Guangzhou. Congjiang Railway Station is only a 10-minute drive from Zhaoxing Dong Village. Now that the high-speed rail is connected from Guangzhou to Guizhou, it is no longer a dream to travel to Guizhou for a day!
