Here is a warm reminder that you need to transfer from Dalian to Dunhuang. You don’t need to pick up your luggage when you transfer. You can go directly to the transfer counter when you transfer in Xi’an.

Regarding the formation of Crescent Spring and Mingsha Mountain, there is a local story that says that in the past, there was neither Mingsha Mountain nor Crescent Spring, but there was a Leiyin Temple. One year, on the eighth day of April, the annual Buddha Bathing Festival was held in the temple. Devotees and believers all burned incense and worshiped the Buddha in the temple, prostrating and worshiping. When the Buddhist activities come to "sprinkling holy water", the abbot and abbot brings out a bowl of ancestral holy water from Leiyin Temple and puts it in front of the temple gate. Suddenly, a heretic warlock challenged loudly, to compete with the abbot abbot. I saw the sorcerer wielding his sword and muttering words in his mouth. Suddenly, the sky was dark, the wind was strong, and the yellow sand covered the sky and covered the sky, burying Leiyin Temple at the bottom of the sand.
