foreword

Three days before the Spring Festival this year, I accidentally opened 12306 and found that ordinary train tickets for the first, second, and third grades of the Lunar New Year were easy to buy, so I decided to go to Dongchuan Red Land and Huize Nianhu Lake in Yunnan. Once you decide, you can buy tickets and book a room, and a whim will take shape.

1. Go to Nian Lake to watch black-necked cranes

On the third day of the Lunar New Year, I took an ordinary train and slept in the car. The train arrived at Qujing, Yunnan on time at 7:30 in the morning. I took the shuttle bus from Qujing to Huize to Daqiao.

The shop owner went home for the New Year, and only two staff members stayed behind. I chatted with the staff and learned that people who visit Nian Lake usually watch the stars at night, watch birds in the morning, and watch the sunrise and sunset together by the way, so I will follow the trend.

The starry sky at Nianhu really shocked me! I have never seen 70 in my life! Big and small, the sky is densely covered, and the sky is full of frequent stars that make your neck hurt. I suddenly wanted to take a picture and show it to my children and grandchildren. The digital in my hand is incompetent, so I have no choice but to regret it.

On the morning of the fifth day of the Lunar New Year, the hotel sent a car to take us to the parking lot of the Black-necked Crane Nature Reserve. The round-trip charge was 50 yuan per person (7 kilometers).

To watch birds in Nian Lake, you must arrive at the Crane Watching Embankment in Nian Lake before dawn. After the sun comes out, the birds will fly away to look for food. The Crane Watching Embankment is about 100 meters away from the small island where the birds rest at night, so it is best to bring a telescope for bird watching, and a lens of more than 600 for taking pictures of birds.

That day we arrived at Guanhe Causeway at dawn, and many spears and cannons were facing the east waiting for the sunrise. I didn't care to watch the sunrise. I heard the sound of birds chirping from the front right and walked forward quickly. Soon I saw a white bird on the small island on the right, black-necked crane? Looking at it with a telephoto lens, it was not a black-necked crane but a bar-headed goose. Looking a little further away, I finally saw 20-30 black-necked cranes. The exposure time is still 1/6 second. Without a bracket, it is really difficult to take pictures under telephoto. After walking a few steps, I saw a barbed wire fence beside the embankment, which was to prevent tourists from approaching and frighten the birds. I quickly used the pillars to stabilize the camera and took a few pictures. At that time, I felt that if I went a little further, I could get closer to the bird island, so I walked along the crane embankment and passed a bridge. But, there were many bar-headed geese and ruddy shelducks on the opposite side, so I concentrated on taking pictures.

The sun came out, and the golden sunlight shone on the red land, and the small islands and hills by the lake turned red. Some of the birds started to fly away, some were still around the island. At this time, I was concentrating on photographing some flying birds, which was not easy... After a while, I suddenly picked up the black-necked crane and hurried back. It's a pity that there was only one white crane left where the black-necked crane rested just now, and the black-necked crane flew away! Turning to the photos of black-necked cranes just now, all of them are blurred, and this time it came in vain.

The black-necked crane, a first-class protected animal, is a large bird with a weight of 4-6 kg and a body length of 110-120 cm. The body feathers are off-white, the neck and tail are black, and there is a red spot on the black head, which can be compared with the red-crowned crane.

The ruddy shelduck is a second-class protected animal. It has brightly colored feathers like a mandarin duck, and it will fly in the sky in the same formation as a wild goose.

The bar-headed goose, a second-class protected animal, has a head decorated with yellow and black rings and a neck decorated with black and white stripes. It walks like a gentleman.

2. Dongchuan Red Land

From Nianhu Lake to Dongchuan Red Land, the shortest route should be Nian Lake~Huize~Dongchuan~Red Land. However, I don't know the bus from Dongchuan to Red Land. It is better to go to Kunming first for insurance advice. The whole journey from Huize to Kunming is on high speed, but the high speed on the return journey during the Spring Festival Transport is really slower than the second-level road. It took less than three hours to travel for five and a half hours.

From Kunming to Hongtudi, we took the second-class road Shixiang Road, but it went smoothly. This time I chose Dongchuan Hongdi Longfeng Hotel for accommodation in Hongtudi. The main consideration is: it is during the Spring Festival, and you can walk to Lepuao and Luoluowan if you can’t find a car. Who knows that there are very few tourists who take the shuttle bus to the Red Land, and they all drive by themselves.

In the red land of Dongchuan in early February, most of the terraced fields have been plowed over. The exposed red land looks so bright red under the sun. A small amount of land grows green trees or white rapeseed flowers, and some of the land grows whitish and short The grass and the trees on the edge of the field are still green, and they look beautiful and full of life together.

The land in Luoxiagou has been plowed, and the red land surrounds the village. Under the golden sun that is about to set, the red land is bright red and beautiful. A large piece of bright red carpet is decorated with a small snow-white village. This is the Luoxiagou I saw.
