My son really wants to see the desert. I knew for a long time that there was a Tianmo film and television base in Zhangjiakou, and I felt that the desert here was too childish. The problem is, there is no plan to go to Xinjiang or Ningxia this year. Finally, I discussed with my husband. It should be Zhangjiajie. Anyway, my baby is only four years old, and I can still fool around.

We flew to Zhangjiakou and booked an IX35 on the eHi car rental app in advance. After getting off the plane, we went straight to the eHi convenience store in the airport parking lot to pick up the car. The car is in good condition and the car is very new. The most important thing is that the rent is also cheap. It can be done for about 150 yuan a day. The price of renting a car during the National Day is already quite cheap. We are lucky to book early. The various scenic spots in Zhangjiakou are almost scattered in different counties, and the distance is relatively far. Basically, it is necessary to go to the expressway, and it is much more convenient to drive by yourself.

Tianmo film and television base

When you arrive in Zhangjiakou, the first stop is Tianmo Film and Television Base. But it was late when we went. After playing in the desert for a while, I wanted to ride a camel, but the camel got off work. So I went to the sand boarding place again, and it turned out that the sand was already spraying water.

It doesn't matter, we are here to see the desert anyway, and my baby doesn't have any regrets.

The cold wind was blowing, and everyone was freezing. There were very few people when we went. Note: There are several public toilets in the scenic area, but they are not easy to find. We navigated through the Gaode map to find the public toilets.

Huanglong Villa Yunzhong Grassland

The most indispensable thing in Zhangjiakou is the grassland. Zhangbei Grassland, Grassland Tianlu, you can play anywhere. The scenery of the Yunzhong Prairie we went to is also very good. In fact, this is a 4A scenic spot. The scenery is very good.

The vegetation coverage in the scenic area is very high. We parked the car outside and walked along this path until we reached the foot of the mountain. There are also people who go directly by ferry, but the scenery in the woods is so beautiful, walking is the best respect for the scenery, haha.

In this way, we went all the way up the mountain. The scenery along the way is beautiful, but the wind is also very strong. The temperature in Zhangjiakou on National Day has been relatively low.

Later, I decided to take the cable car to watch, which can save some time. Children are not afraid of taking the cable car at all, but my husband is afraid of heights, the wind blows the cable car swaying, and he is almost scared to pee.

There are several yurts scattered in the grassland. It seems that they are just models to decorate the whole grassland, and they can't really go in and live in it.

A wooden plank road is very narrow. Walking here, there are vegetation on both sides and the sky is blue, which is very good.

I even saw the birch forest here, which really feels like being in Hulunbuir. When I came to Zhangjiakou this time, I understood the term "Mountain Resort".

When you go back, continue to take the cable car. In addition to the scenery in the scenic area, Zhangjiakou also has something particularly commendable, which is the continuous mountains here. Where the sun shines, the peaks are bright, but covered by dark clouds, the peaks are dark. At first, I thought it was a fire on the mountain, but later I found out that the sun was blocked by dark clouds.

Jiming Station

Jiming Station is a well-known ancient city in Huailai County. On National Day, there are many people on the grassland, and even more people come here. If you want to learn more about the Jiming Station, you can hire a tour guide, who will accompany you throughout the journey, take tourists through the Jiming Station, and give relevant explanations.

I thought it was full of homestays and inns, and the aborigines had left long ago. After entering, I discovered that there are actually many villagers living here. The breath of life can be found everywhere, such as the vegetable garden, and the cry of sheep can be heard, which comes from the sheep pen.

If you play carefully in the ancient city, you will find many ancient buildings. For example, one of the houses turned out to be where the Empress Dowager Cixi once lived.

Many of the alleys here are very narrow, and it feels like two people have to give way to each other when they pass by. You can also visit Wenchang Palace and Caishen Temple in the ancient city if you have time.

Look, this is the place where the Empress Dowager Cixi lived. In fact, she lived here during her escape.

I prefer the murals in Taishan Palace. In fact, it has a history of many years. I don't know how the murals were preserved, and they are still so clear now. The tour guide is very interesting. I personally feel that one of the most correct decisions made in the ancient city of Jimingyi was to let the tour guide explain it to us.

At sunset, you must go to the ancient city wall to take a look. The mountain peaks in the distance are also flickering at this time, and the scene on the roof is also like this, as if shrouded in golden light. Only when you climb to the tower can you feel this shock.

We also saw villagers come back from herds, a few sheep, a herdsman, what a beautiful scenery.

Sanggan River Grand Canyon

The Sanggan River Grand Canyon is located in Xuanhua District, and the distance from Jiming Station is also 100 kilometers. This distance is not too far, because the whole journey can be reached at high speed. Driving along the highway, there are continuous mountain peaks all the way. I envy the people who live here, I feel like I can go to a mountain to play at any time on weekends.

The Sanggan River Grand Canyon can be regarded as a man-made scenic spot, but after all, it is built on the basis of mountain peaks and canyons, and the natural landscape is still good. This scenic spot contains several small scenic spots, and each small scenic spot is charged separately, which requires a trade-off.

We went to Feipuxia Scenic Area, which was not bad. The scenic spot is quite interesting, such as the road, it does not fully design the plank road, but adds a lot of stones, stepping on the stones on the water, it is very fun.

The waterfall here is also considered big. After the water flows through the sunlight, it looks like pearls hanging down, which looks very beautiful.

There is rafting here in summer, but the weather is too cold in October and the rafting has stopped.

There are also some entertainment facilities in the scenic area, where children can play. Anyway, during the National Day, many projects did not run. It can be seen that the tourist season in Zhangjiakou is indeed over.

Guanting Reservoir

Guanting Reservoir is actually a big place. When navigating, once you locate it, you will find that there are several corresponding scenic spots, and the distance is still far away.

The windmills scattered on the road are very beautiful. Children are happy when they see the windmills, so they have to keep looking at them.

Guanting Reservoir National Wetland Park is not only beautiful, but also has few people. Here you can see reeds, watchtowers, museums, etc., and you can meet them. After the completion, this place will definitely become a very famous scenic spot in Zhangjiakou.

I especially like this path in Guanting Reservoir. If there is a drone to take pictures, it will definitely look very good.
