It takes about 5 hours to drive from Dali to Tengchong at high speed, because the road is indeed not very straight, basically it is a high-speed around the mountain, it is really going up the mountain, climbing all the way, you can see the mountain of Tengchong. Then when I was going to the urban area of Tengchong, because a bridge was being built, I had to detour a section of the mountain road. This section took the most time, because there were already a lot of people who came to travel in the fourth day of junior high school, and there were 2 roads in just a short section of the road. Hours, scary.
It is suggested that if you want to come to Tengchong in the future, you should find a way to avoid holidays, or wait until the bridge is repaired.
Tengchong is mainly about the ticket price. Like Volcano Park and Atami, it is more expensive to buy tickets at the gate alone, but it only costs 80 yuan to buy a joint ticket online, and then the wetland park is 50 yuan, and Heshun Ancient Town also needs it There is a fee, online is 64 yuan per person, depending on personal consumption ability, hot springs can range from more than 200 to 30 yuan, but it is recommended to go to expensive ones, you get what you pay for.
Tengchong is the jade capital of our country, and it is also a popular tourist city, so don’t worry about accommodation. Of course, it’s good to book in advance. For example, hot spring hotels like Atami can soak in hot springs after booking, but the price is cheap. If you don't want to book those hot spring hotels, you can actually find them in the city. We didn't prepare in advance, but when we arrived in the urban area, we found a new small business hotel that was good. After asking about the price, it was only over 200 yuan a night, so we booked for 2 days. It turned out that the stay was not bad, very good. The name is Loudi Express Hotel, you can look for it yourself.
Tengchong’s delicacies mainly include Dajiujia (in fact, fried Erkuai), Songhua cake and the like. You don’t need to look for them. Basically every hotel makes these kinds of things. Breakfast is basically noodles and rice noodles. Personally, I think the taste is mediocre. The cooking here is too salty and the taste is too strong, which is not suitable for southerners like us.
I didn’t buy anything on purpose, I’m sure I’m interested in jade when I come to Tengchong, but buying real jade requires vision, I’m not sure, and the other thing is to buy those jade ores, which are called gambling stones, and this is even more uncertain, it’s completely gambling up.
When traveling by car, take everything you need, because you want to soak in hot springs, so don’t forget your swimsuit.
I brought two cameras, SONY A7 and RX100III, for photographic equipment. Basically, the 24-70/F4 lens is enough. It is a very easy-to-use lens.
Day 1: Visit Heshun Ancient Town at night
On the first day, I arrived in Tengchong from Dali at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. I found a hotel to stay and had lunch. It was almost 5 o'clock. Anyway, if you have enough rest, go to Heshun Ancient Town to see it.
Heshun Ancient Town is one of the three famous scenic spots in Tengchong. The style of the ancient town is relatively well preserved. It used to be free to watch, but later it was also charged, 64 yuan per person. Even if you live in an inn in the ancient town, there is a charge. This point It's not very humane, it's equivalent to spending an extra sum of money for the people who live there.
It was already late when we arrived. I thought it was not worth spending money to buy tickets now, so I just thought of a way to get in, so I walked to the rapeseed field next to me, took pictures and looked for the way into the village. Sure enough, there is still a way. Well, it might be too late, the watchmen are off work, anyway, we walked in along the flower field.
The area of the ancient town is not too big, but it is not small either. There are mainly a few small alleys. The houses on both sides of the alleys are basically commercialized. They are either built into inns or jade sellers, and there are some small food stalls and the like. There are many inns, and they do have their own characteristics. Basically, the inns have restaurants. If you want to taste delicious food, you can go to these inns.
We didn't have a map. We walked and played along the small alleys. I felt that the commercial atmosphere was too strong. Such an ancient town charged such an expensive ticket. I think even the local residents of the ancient town were not satisfied. However, there were quite a lot of people visiting the ancient town that day, and they returned home after about 2 hours of shopping. It may be more interesting to come during the day, because the fields outside the town may be better for taking good photos.
In the ancient town, there are so many people on holidays, it is estimated that it is impossible to take any good photos during the day.
Tomorrow, I plan to go to the other two famous scenic spots in Tengchong, Volcano Park and Rehai, and then I have time to visit the Beihai Wetland, and there is another scenic spot in Cherry Blossom Valley because the distance is a bit far away, and it is not the cherry blossom season. Pass dropped.
We all bought tickets online in advance. There is a joint ticket between Volcano Park and Atami. I recommend this, which can save a lot. In addition, you can take hot air balloons and small planes at the entrance of Volcano Park. If you are interested in this , Be sure to book in advance, and go early the next morning, or the balloon tickets will be sold out before 10 o'clock the next day, and the queue is so long, it is not worthwhile. The balloon is afraid of the wind, so it is only open in the morning, and work is over at noon, so you don’t have to play if you want to.
This is the main entrance of Heshun. There were too many people who came to play that day, and there was no place to park the car we drove. Fortunately, the local traffic police graciously opened up temporary parking lots on both sides of the road, so we had a place to park. The ticket office is on the right side of the gate, but you can just buy it online, just scan the QR code and you can pass.
There are quite a few rapeseed fields at the entrance of the village. We entered the field on the right side of the gate and walked along the ridge. It is not difficult to walk. It's a pity that it's already dark, otherwise it should be able to shoot very good results.
It doesn't take much effort to enter the ancient town, just follow the flow of people. This "Heshun" harmony is also the symbol of "Heshun" town.
The architecture of the ancient town is indeed distinctive
This Lijia Lane is the busiest alley in the ancient town, so you must visit it.
This is stone gambling. These stones should all be rough stones dug from jade pits, but it is difficult to say whether there is jade in the stone or how much jade there is. The price is divided according to the size. The cheap ones are hundreds of yuan, and the expensive ones are high Ten million, I’m really not lying to you. There are indeed very expensive ones. My friend bought tens of thousands of yuan. Participation is fine as entertainment, but not as a means of making a fortune.
This is the famous Er'er Cube. You can roast it yourself. The original taste is tasteless. If you want the taste, you can add ingredients later. Dajiujia is also made of this material. I ate a portion and felt nothing, it was like dough anyway.
Look at this wall, and you will know how many inns there are in the ancient town, but don't tell me, the better ones are really full of rooms, and there are many expensive people to live in.
After shopping, I drove back to the hotel to rest. In fact, it only took 20 minutes to drive from the urban area to the ancient town, which is very close, so it doesn’t matter where you live.
Day 2: Go to the volcano, play in Atami, walk in wetlands, soak in hot springs
Tengchong Volcanic Geological Park
Tengchong is most famous because there is a volcano here. Although it is an extinct volcano, it still maintains its original appearance. With the tickets bought online last night, you can just swipe the QR code with your mobile phone. This is very convenient. You can see tall hot air balloons at the gate of the Volcanic Geopark, and you have the urge to sit, but the price is not cheap, 190 yuan is not negotiable, and it only takes 10 minutes to go up. Our children are still young, considering I didn’t sit this time. In fact, I personally want to sit, although I have already sat in Yangshuo. Children's shoes that haven't tried it can still be considered. After all, there are not many places in China where you can take a hot air balloon.
And what to say about the scenery of this volcanic geological park, you still have to look at it from a high place. If you climb directly to the top of the mountain to see it, it doesn't make much sense, because it is a "pit", a real pit.
It’s only a 10-minute walk from the gate of the Volcano Park to the foot of the mountain, but there are charged battery cars. I strongly suggest not to waste that money. It’s really not that far to walk.
But it is not easy to climb to the top of the mountain. It is said that there are 1963 steps. I didn’t count them carefully. The weather that day was as hot as summer. I think we would not be able to climb up with children. Fortunately, there are horse riders at the door, asking for a price It costs 200 yuan a horse to take you to the top of the mountain. Children can ride with adults for free. I don’t care about the small money when I go out to travel. Comfort is the most important thing. Later, the journey up the mountain was really not easy, and we felt it was not easy even going down the mountain.
He started riding a horse. Of course, the child was very happy and extremely excited.
There are a total of three hot air balloons flying, one after another, it is really beautiful
If you ride a horse, you don’t take the stairs. Walking on the mountain road, although it’s a fool’s errand, is still very safe on a horse. There is a master leading the horse in front, so don’t worry about safety.
You see, this crater is a big pit. Many people said that they didn't expect to spend so much money to see it, but it turned out to be a "pit".
That road is the road from the gate to the foot of the mountain
This is a small plane, it is about 200 yuan, you can try it if you like it
This is the steps to go up the mountain, it is very vain, it still needs a certain amount of physical strength to walk up.
Go down to the foot of the mountain and start admiring the peach blossoms
There is also a Volcanic Geology Museum that you can visit, and those who are interested can go and see it. There are many volcanic stones sold at the stalls outside the entrance. They look real and the price is not expensive. You can consider buying one.
Because there are so many people here, I feel that it is so-so. It is a place where I don’t regret it, but I also regret it when I go there.
The parking lot is quite big, 20 yuan is charged, we get on the car and start the next scenic spot, Beihai Wetland
Beihai Wetland
The Beihai Wetland is not far from the Volcano Park. It takes about 30 minutes to drive there. There is a parking lot at the entrance, and then cross the overpass to the opposite side of the road to the entrance of the wetland. The ticket we bought separately is 55 yuan. In fact, the best time to view the wetlands is summer, when the flowers are in full bloom and the wetlands are green, which is the best time to see them. But we had a good time today, because the weather was good and there were a lot of white clouds, and it was very pleasant to take pictures.
There are several wooden plank roads built in the wetland for tourists to walk on, so you just need to walk along the plank roads, but the several plank roads are not connected, so you have to go back. In addition, you can also take a boat tour at the pier for an additional fee. The boat is not big, you can take someone else's boat, or you can rent a small boat to row.
This scenic spot gives me a good feeling, it is very beautiful, it is worth visiting, and if it is summer, it is not to be missed.
This photo was taken for a promotional poster. If it really blooms like this in summer, it will definitely be great.
There are many birds in the wetland, such as this kind of swan, there are also many, and you can buy feed to feed them
Be careful when feeding, this swan even bit my finger.
This is the pier for boarding the boat. It’s not expensive to take a boat, but we didn’t go there. I think this appreciation is enough.
It only takes 2 hours to see the wetland, and you can come out in a while. There are many places to eat near the wetland park. You can easily solve the problem of lunch here, and then continue to the next scenic spot, Atami.
Tengchong Atami
Since there are volcanoes, of course there will be hot springs. The geothermal resources in Tengchong are very rich, but basically they are not located in the Volcano Geopark, but concentrated in the Atami area. It is named Atami, which of course means that it is here The temperature of the hot spring is very high, and it is a rare hot spring in the whole country. A must-see attraction
It is also because it is such a good scenic spot, so there was a huge traffic jam when I went there, and the car was blocked for several kilometers from the main entrance, and there was no sign of progress at all. While we were waiting for the bus, there were many people selling raw eggs on the side of the road. Four of them were strung together for 10 yuan. They said they would sell for 20 yuan in Atami. Hot springs can be used to boil eggs in the sea, so we also bought two skewers.
Seeing that the traffic jam was too serious, I started to think of a way. I turned on the navigation and found that I could actually go to Rehai from another road, so I thought of a way to drive and take the fork road from Tengchong to the airport, and then press the navigation Looking for Cucumaqing Hot Spring, although the road behind is difficult, there is no traffic jam, and you can reach the Cucumaqing Hot Spring Rehabilitation Base smoothly. There is a parking lot here, and there are not many people. It is not allowed to drive forward, but you can park your car at In the parking lot, if you are daring, you can continue to drive for a while, then park on the side of the road (if you are not afraid of being fined), and then walk. Walking from Cucumaqing Hot Spring to the entrance of Atami is actually only about 20 minutes. This is a good way of walking. When you come back, you can also soak in the hot springs at Cucumber Qing Hot Spring. That’s how we walked. In the middle of the journey, there happened to be an empty taxi, so we took it, which saved a lot of time. It seems that sometimes we need to change our minds.
Entering the gate of Atami, you can just scan the QR code, basically just walk along the road, there is only one tour route, there is no fork in the road, you don’t have to turn back from the entrance to the exit, just walk around.
The first scenic spot to visit is called Toad Mouth. Let’s take a look at the stone on the right side of the conversation. Does it look like a toad?
What they spray out of their mouths is water vapor. The hot spring is very high, and we can feel the high temperature when we are next to it.
I have raw eggs on hand, not cooked yet.
This is the hot spring resort in Atami, you have to stay here to soak, and the price is unbearable during holidays.
This is called Lion Head.
This is the hot spring resort in Atami, you have to stay here to soak, and the price is unbearable during holidays.
Then go up the mountain along the steps, there are many hot springs along the way, such as this one is called Pearl Spring.
In addition, there are shops selling volcanic mud skin care products on the road. The price is not cheap, but it is authentic. If you need it, you can buy it. Because there is no turning back, there is no such shop in the back.
The scenery on the road is average, there are a lot of people, and they are all crowded, and then you can solve your stomach problems in the rest area on the mountainside. There are not many snacks here, but the taste is good, and the price is acceptable. A bowl of noodles is 10 yuan Money like this.
Then it is the most famous spring in Atami, Atami Big Rolling Pot, because it has the highest temperature, and it is said that it can be cooked directly by putting eggs in it. It is an authentic hot spring egg. But for the tourists of the day, let me show you the grand occasion, but there are no people in sight.
This is the big boiling pot, I waited for a long time until there was no one. It seems that the temperature is indeed high, but now for protection, it is no longer possible to directly put eggs in and cook, what should I do?
Don't worry, there is a staff member next to the spring to register. You just need to give him the egg, and he will give you a number plate, such as No. 33. After the egg is cooked, he will call your number, and you can come and get it up. Of course, the staff can't tell which string your eggs are, but you don't care anyway, right, as long as the number of strings is correct, everyone is a string of four, there is no difference.
After the staff take the eggs, they will put the eggs in this big pot, which is cooked with the steam of the hot spring. It takes about 20 minutes to cook, because the pot is full of eggs, it takes a long time, if there are few eggs Yes, it won't take that long. Cover and wait, 20 minutes.
After waiting for 20 minutes, the egg was ready, so I quickly opened it to eat. It was really cooked, but it was really fully cooked. In fact, the difference between the hot spring egg and the ordinary egg is that the hot spring will not reach 100 degrees, so it is boiled. The yolk of the egg is oily, it will not be fully cooked, and the white will not be completely solidified, so it is an authentic hot spring egg. I feel that this one has been cooked for too long and is completely cooked. It tastes the same as ordinary eggs. A little bad review.
After eating eggs, go back to the entrance along another road. If you come from the main entrance, you can choose to take a battery car to the main entrance. Because we came from Cucumaqing Hot Spring, we have to climb uphill again, and the return time is slightly longer. Some, just 30 minutes.
Cucumber Green Hot Spring
Cucumber Qing Hot Spring is also an authentic hot spring with a long history. After we came back, we had dinner at the hotel here first. It tasted good. We ordered 2 bowls of noodles, and we were full with eggs.
There are two hot spring spots here, one is a sanatorium, this spot has a long history, although the water is authentic, but the environment is not good, the pool is small, and it is naked, because everyone is here for treatment, the price is very cheap, We ordered online for 33 yuan per person. But the staff was easy to say, she said that we should take a look at the pool first, if it is not good, we can return it, don’t force it, we still gave up after seeing it, it is true that this condition is not up to the level of enjoyment. In addition, there is also a place to stay here, and the price is also cheap. If you like naked, you can try living here.
The other one is called Cucumber Qing Grandma’s Hot Spring. This one is obviously better. There are ten pools and the area is much larger.
The entrance to Cucumber Qing’s grandma’s house is quite expensive on holidays, and it costs more than 100 per person, so I said that if you want to soak in a good hot spring, go directly to Atami or Lotus Hot Spring. The conditions there are really better than here. There are many pools here, but the area is not very large. If there are many people, it will feel uncomfortable.
But the water is indeed an authentic hot spring, a bit mixed, just like the hot springs in Japan. The water smells of sulfur. This is a rare sulfur hot spring in China. Most of the other places are carbon hot springs. There are a lot of sulfur in Japan, so the feeling here is also very Japanese.
There are also some free ginger syrup and simple snacks for you to replenish water and physical strength when you soak in the hot springs. Hot springs are really physical work, and it’s impossible not to drink a lot of water, and don’t soak for too long, intermittent soaking 1-2 hours is enough.
Because we went in to soak in the hot springs, there was no way to take photos.
After soaking in the hot springs, drive back to downtown Tengchong. At 10 o’clock in the evening, the street is still very lively, and there are snacks everywhere. We chose a restaurant called Yaoyao Snacks. Save it, there are other famous snacks (the big save may have enough portions, many snack bars don't get it).
There are still a lot of people eating, and there are normal barbecues. We ordered some, and the taste was okay.
I forgot what the name of this pot is, and it’s also a feature here. It’s actually a hodgepodge. Put everything in it, and then cook and serve. Because it’s too mixed, the taste is hard to describe. I don’t recommend it, and it’s relatively expensive. The small pot is 80 yuan, which is enough for a family of three.
After eating, I went back to the hotel to rest, and of course I fell asleep in seconds after soaking in the hot spring.
