Leaving Bayinbulak, enter Korla City at midnight. Korla is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Bayingoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture in Xinjiang, and the capital of Bayingoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture. It leans on the branch of Tianshan Mountain in the north and faces the Taklimakan Desert, the second largest desert in the world in the south. It is the throat of the middle road of the ancient Silk Road and one of the birthplaces of Western Region culture. It is an important transportation hub and material distribution center in the northern and southern Xinjiang. It is also known as the "Pear City" because of its rich production of Korla fragrant pears, which are well-known both at home and abroad.

"Korla" means "overlooking" in Uighur. This oasis of gazers is an important place in the middle of the ancient Silk Road. More than 2,000 years ago, the winding Silk Road brought Eastern and Western civilizations together here. After the hard work and joint construction of various ethnic groups, Today, this ancient oasis is shining with brilliant modern splendor.

When I woke up, the sky was bright. On the 19th floor of the hotel, looking out of the window, there are endless mountains in the distance, the sky is transparent and blue, and the buildings are standing tall. Is this a county-level city in the western frontier of the motherland? !

Korla City is more than 80 kilometers away from Bosten Lake Dahekou Scenic Spot. There are many scenic spots in Bosten Lake. There are also scenic spots marked on the map: Bailuzhou, Golden Beach, Lianhai World and other scenic spots, but these scenic spots are far apart. inconvenient. The lake body of Bosten Lake can be divided into two parts: the big lake area and the small lake area.

The water lilies in Lianhua Lake and Ahongkou are the largest natural water lilies in China; Golden Beach is located on the northeast shore of Bosten Lake. The coastline of the beach is 2,000 meters long and 160 meters wide. mm, with a purity of 96%, it is a unique lake-shaped natural bathing place, enjoying the reputation of "Xinjiang Hawaii".

Road signs and place names in Xinjiang are very characteristic, reflecting the characteristics of the Construction Corps. The 27th and 25th regiments are both affiliated to the 2nd Agricultural Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.

Big Estuary of Bosten Lake

Bosten Lake, which means "oasis" in Uighur, is located in Bohu County, southeast of Yanqi Basin, Xinjiang. It is the largest inland freshwater lake in China. In "Hanshu Biography of the Western Regions", the "near sea" in "King Yanqi went to Yuanqu City, south to Yuli Baili, and there are many fish in the sea" and "Dunxipu" in "Shui Jing Zhu" all refer to this lake .

Bosten Lake is 55 kilometers long from east to west, 25 kilometers wide from north to south, with a water area of 1646 square kilometers (2020). The lake is 1048 meters above sea level and has an average depth of 9 meters. Like lakes in many places in my country, the area of Bosten Lake is constantly changing. In recent years, the melting of glaciers and atmospheric precipitation in the Tianshan Mountains have shown a tendency to increase, and the area of Bosten Lake has increased a lot compared to before.

The water of Bosten Lake mainly comes from the Kaidu River, which has a total length of 610 kilometers. The source of the river is on the Tianshan Mountains above 4,000 meters above sea level. Melted glaciers and atmospheric precipitation in summer are the main sources of supply for the river. In addition, Bosten Lake drains outward through the Kongque River. The Kongque River is 785 kilometers long and is an inland river. Later, due to climate change and human activities, the downstream often stopped flowing.

Dahekou (Xihai Fishing Village) scenic spot is located at the entrance of Bosten Lake on the Kaidu River, so it is named Dahekou. The gate of the scenic spot is made of thick logs, and the wooden pillars are tied with thick hemp ropes and connected with giant rivets, which vividly shows the primitive and simple Mongolian pride, and also fully demonstrates the Dahe culture of "the sea accepts all rivers, and the tolerance is great".

Bosten Lake has vast waters, misty waves, meandering rivers, overgrown reeds, lotuses in full bloom, birds singing and fishes leaping. It is a water town in the south of the Yangtze River. "Sui Shu" records that this lake has "the benefits of fish, salt, cattail and reed".

The Xihai Fuyu sculpture combines the West Sea culture, Fuyu culture, and blessing culture. The word Fu expresses people's yearning for a better life. If you hit the fish mouth, you can pray for peace and wealth, happiness and good luck. Bosten Lake is rich in various freshwater fish and is the largest fishery production base in Xinjiang.

Green trees, flowers and plants are planted all over the scenic area, especially the purple flowers are blooming brightly, and there are more than one species.

Rented two sightseeing bicycles to travel, chatted with teenagers, and found the fun of childhood.

Wetland wooden plank roads were built along the shore of the lake. The long plank roads lead to the depths of the reeds. The reeds are dense and four or five meters high. When the breeze hits, the reeds are blown and rustling, as if singing in a low voice, welcoming tourists. arrival.

Bosten Lake has a long-standing reputation for reeds, with 400,000 mu of natural reed area and 200,000 mu of artificial reed area, making it one of the four major reed producing areas in my country. Reed not only has good economic benefits, but also has important ecological functions. It can play an important role in preventing wind and sand, purifying air, desalinating water quality, protecting biodiversity, reducing environmental pollution, and regulating climate, ensuring the restoration of wetlands in the lake area.

The reed-viewing gazebos with different shapes are made from local materials and built on the plank road along the lake for tourists to enjoy the cool and have a rest.

The Western Regions Entertainment City is a novel and unique play project based on the monsters and ghosts in Journey to the West, allowing tourists to experience the culture of Journey to the West in a thrilling and exciting way.

Wanghai Pavilion overlooks the vastness of the Bosten Lake and the Great Lakes, where the water and the sky are the same color.

Xihai Fishing Port Wharf, you can take a cruise ship to watch the lake.

The Great Lakes area covers an area of more than 1,000 square kilometers. It is as vast as the sea and cannot be seen at a glance.

There is always such a feeling that the area of the lake is too large, and sometimes it looks bland and lacks ornamental value. This is still a sunny day, if it is cloudy, the perception seems to be even worse. (words from a family)

The West Sea Corridor is 400 meters long and 7 meters wide. It stretches straight into the clear lake water. The roof of the promenade is covered with reed curtains woven from reeds in the lake to provide shade and avoid heat. It is environmentally friendly and beautiful. It also shows the reed culture of Bosten Lake.

The water stage, a huge semicircular arch with a height of nearly 50 meters, is decorated with colorful colors every festival, and colorful flags are fluttering, becoming a beautiful symbol of the Dahekou Scenic Area. The opening and closing ceremonies of fishing festivals, reed festivals, ice and snow festivals and other major festivals are held here every year.

According to the exhibition board, there is a poignant and moving legend about the origin of Bosten Lake.

There is a dining plaza near the gate of the scenic spot, supported by a square wooden frame and covered with reed curtains, which is natural and simple. Here you can taste delicious lake fish, snacks, and buy local agricultural and sideline products.

I came here especially for the name, and it took less than 2 hours to visit the Dahekou Scenic Area, and it was enough.

A travel note said: "The West Sea in my imagination is very beautiful and romantic, but the real Bohu Lake is very disappointing." We didn't do our homework beforehand and knew very little, so we can't say we were disappointed, but compared with other beautiful scenery in Xinjiang, we feel average That's all. But after all, it is the largest inland freshwater lake in China, so you should come here to see it.

When writing this article, I saw a piece of news from Xinhua News Agency: (2022) On January 15th, at Bosten Lake in Xinjiang, a huge and passionate winter fishing was staged. Bosten Lake is the largest inland freshwater lake in my country, with a water area of more than 1,600 square kilometers. There are 32 species of fish in the lake, including grass carp, silver carp, bighead carp and carp.

Robe village

The Boteng Lake Dahekou Scenic Spot is 160 kilometers away from the Luobu village, one north and one south, in two directions, but both belong to the Bayingoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture.

Drive through Yuli County, a city that looks very seductive and decent. Yuli County, located at the southern foot of the Tianshan Mountains and the northeast edge of the Tarim Basin, belongs to Bayingoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture. Yuli, also known as "Lop Nur", is named after "Lop Nur", which means "a lake with abundant water and grass". National Highway 218 runs through the whole county and is one of the important transportation hubs in southern Xinjiang. It is particularly rich in mineral resources and tourism resources, and is known as the "back garden" of Korla.

The Luobu village is located in Dunkuotan Township, Yuli County, 40 kilometers away from the county seat, and borders the largest Taklamakan Desert in China to the south; the longest inland river, the Tarim River, flows through the scenic spot of the Luobu village; the largest primitive Populus euphratica forest reserve and the ancient The mysterious Rob people gather here. Tourists can wade through rivers, walk through forests, ride camels and watch the sea of sand. They can also go hunting, sand boarding, fishing by boat, listen to the folk songs of the Rob people, watch the Rob dance around the bonfire, and sleep in thatched huts. , Appreciate the ancient Robe ethnic customs, and enjoy the fun of returning to nature.

The gate of the Rob people's village is quite strange, and it is said to be a totem of fish.

Picture: The Luobu people grilled fish in an ancient way, cut open along the belly of the fish but connect the fish spine, flatten the fish with thin red willow branches, like inserting new ribs, one end of the thick red willow branch goes through the fish spine, and the other end is inserted In the sand. It looks like a fish with spread wings bent the red willow, just baked by a small pile of burning populus euphratica. In addition to salt, if other seasonings are sprinkled, it is not the grilled fish of the Rob people.

The Luobu people are one of the oldest ethnic groups in Xinjiang. They speak the Luobu dialect and live in the rivers and lakes in the desert. The life of catching hash birds and skinning them for clothing, not knowing the wind scriptures and praying.” The Lop people have been isolated from other ethnic groups for thousands of years. They have unique culture and folk customs, which are very mysterious. They are living fossils of the residents of the ancient Lop Nur area. Their oral literature, folk songs and dances and folk music together constitute the form of Luobu folk culture.

This scenic spot is called Abdan Square. The wooden structure building is simple and unique, and it really has a sense of mystery.

Abudan, in the Luobu dialect, means "luxury water and grass, suitable for people to live in", and also means "good place".

Nowadays, there are not many real Rob people, and the Rob people village scenic spot is a place to get a deep understanding of the mysterious Rob people culture. The scenic spot is divided into five functional areas: entrance image area, comprehensive service area, cultural experience area, ecological recreation area and desert exploration area.

Take the battery car in the scenic spot to the Goddess Lake. The winding road winds through the desert, and the curves outlined are extremely beautiful. Along the way, the most attractive and photogenic landscapes in the Luobu Village Scenic Area are undisturbed: Populus euphratica, red willow, desert, and Tarim River, which are eye-catching .

This section of the desert road is so beautiful! A few days later, I traveled from Hotan to Aksu on the road that crossed the Taklamakan Desert. I drove for more than 500 kilometers, but the scenery along the way was far below expectations and lacked a sense of shock. It was basically a straight line with few bends and arcs. The sand dunes are not high, the ups and downs are not large, and there are few highlights (maybe in the hinterland of the desert far away from the road, the scenery will be spectacular). Comparing the two, I feel that the desert and the road here are more ornamental.

Goddess Lake

Goddess Lake is the largest lake in the village of the Rob people. The water is clear and the fish swim in the shallow bottom. It is like an oasis on the edge of the desert, and there are ancient legends.

The original Lop people lived near Lop Nur, the Tarim River was cut off, and the living environment in Lop Nur was deteriorating day by day. They went up the river, lived by water and grass, and came to the current Lop village, where they made a living by fishing. The Luobu village is close to the Tarim River, scattered with lakes of different sizes. Due to the influence of climate and the throughput of the Tarim River, which is an inland river, it presents different scenery in different seasons.

There is no tree by the lake, only scattered and low reeds, and nothing else is yellow sand. Today's weather is surprisingly good, clear skies, sun exposure, hot, dry baked.

There are several sheds built of reeds on the viewing plank road, which can temporarily avoid the scorching sun, but after all, you can't stay for a long time, just take a short breath.

Look at everyone's faces, they are all tanned like Guan Gong.

Laughing and jumping, happy from the heart. Smile, ten years old, happiness is the most important thing for the elderly.

After shifting positions, taking a battery car in a section of the scenic spot, and driving on the winding desert road, it is really an obsessive desert oasis.

Dongsha Mountain

This scenic spot is called Dongsha Mountain. The sand dunes are undulating in the distance, and the gate looks like a cottage.

This is also a perfect combination of desert and lake water, but there are many more trees, especially the strong Populus euphratica, and there are scattered huts, which add a lot of life to the Goddess Lake.

The scene of weaving red willow branches is placed on the bank of the lake. On the other side, there are tall poplars and huts covered by red willows. It is a scene of the life of the Rob people. This is the paradise where the Rob people live, an oasis of life in the desert.

The desert post station is a place for tourists to take a rest.

Log construction, hemp rope tying, wooden wheels, red ox head, the living style of the western desert, except for the lack of valiant knights who eat large pieces of meat and drink heavily.

Populus euphratica trees of different shapes, leaning against the vast desert, the trunks are thick and thick, and the age is unknown?

Behind the Populus euphratica tree is a line of camels ready to go, where you can ride a camel into the desert, a trip that makes people fascinated and eager to explore the desert. We have experienced it before, and we don't want to be exposed to the hot sun, not to mention that we can't delay too much time, and the drive back to Korla is still 2 hours away.

The red clothing and the golden desert are a perfect match, and it looks like you have come prepared.

The camel bells, passing through the vast sand sea, are endless, which is a tribute to nature; the camel bells, passing through patches of Populus euphratica, are endless, which is the persistence of survival.

Exhibition board introduction: The southern desert sightseeing experience area and the desert exploration expansion area of the Luobu Village Scenic Area belong to the Taklamakan Desert. It has a long history and culture, and the ancient Silk Road runs through the entire southern tip of the Taklamakan Desert. During a hundred years of desert exploration at home and abroad, the Swedish explorer Sven Hedin discovered the world-renowned ancient Loulan ruins under the guidance of Ordek from Rob.

The small boats of the Luobu people should be made by hollowing out tree trunks, and so are the canoes. The notice board for taking pictures and charging is written: Rob people fishing card basin.

The Populus euphratica tree by the lake looks at each other with its reflection in the water. The combination of Populus euphratica and Haizi is the most suitable. If this is autumn full of yellow leaves, I don’t know how beautiful it will be!

Tarim River

After visiting Dongsha Mountain, you don’t need to take a battery car. You can walk to the village of the Rob people, walk across the suspension bridge of the Tarim River, and go to Abudan Square.

The Tarim River, the longest inland river in China, is also the mother river in southern Xinjiang. The oases south of the Tianshan Mountains are basically irrigated by the Tarim River.

The Tarim River, in Uighur, means "unbridled horse" and "field, farming". It originates in the Tianshan Mountains and the Karakorum Mountains, along the northern edge of the Taklamakan Desert, passing through Aksu, Kuqa, Luntai, and Korla. , Yuli and other counties (cities) in the south, and finally flows into Taitema Lake.

Yuli County is located at the beginning of the lower reaches of the Tarim River. The Tarim River has a drainage basin of 254 kilometers within the county, and the Luobu villages are located in this drainage basin. The Kongque River, a tributary of the Tarim River, passes through Yuli County, and as a branch of the Tarim River, it flows to Lop Nur.

The main trunk of the Tarim River first flowed into Lop Nur, but was diverted due to the reduction of water volume and the swing of the river course. Before 1972, the tail water reached Taitema Lake in the north of Ruoqiang County, and the end point further retreated to Daxihaizi Reservoir in Tieganlik. After the start of the whole basin treatment at the beginning of the 21st century, water began to flow back to Taitema Lake.

The river bed is quite wide and the water flow is not strong, but at the moment the light is just right, the level is like a mirror, the shadows of objects hang upside down, and the scenery is extremely beautiful.

      Rob's restaurant

       Robe Longevity Tea Garden

Here are the centenarians of the Rob people.

On the couch, an old man with white beard is working, as if he is making wood carvings.

The Populus euphratica here is thicker and taller.

A few locals at roadside stalls, ethnic costumes, Rob people?

This cluster of red willows is gorgeous and strong.

Broken mounds, beacon towers of the Han Dynasty.

The thousand-year-old Populus euphratica has a history of 100 million years. "It is not dead for a thousand years, it is not dead for a thousand years, and it is not immortal for a thousand years." This is people's tribute to the brilliant life of Populus euphratica.

If you go upstream along the Tarim River to the west (the road is about 300 kilometers away), it is also located on the banks of the Tarim River, in the Tarim Populus euphratica Forest Scenic Area in Lunnan Town, Luntai County, Bazhou City. The natural landscape, Populus euphratica landscape and desert landscape are integrated, and it is the oldest, largest, most complete and most primitive Populus euphratica Forest Reserve in the world.

The remnants of these Populus euphratica trees, lying sideways and vertically, with iron bones, are proud and unyielding, which is shocking and awe-inspiring.

Populus euphratica fossil, 150 million years old, Abdu, a descendant of the Rob people, said: "It is the grandfather of the grandfather of Populus euphratica in the Tarim River..."

The first naan in the Western Regions.

At the Tamo post station, the smoke from the kitchen is lingering.

At the exit of the scenic spot, you must pass through the souvenir shop on the road.

A photo was taken: the caravan of camels marching in the desert Populus euphratica, as if they heard the crisp jingle of camel bells, like an ark in the desert, casting an elongated figure on the golden sand, depicting the beautiful scenery of the Western Regions.

       Go back to Abu Square.

Today's tour route: Visitor Center--Abudan Square--Goddess Lake--Dongsha Mountain--walking tour to the village of the Rob people to Abudan--Visitor Center.

Korla

At 21:06, return to downtown Korla before dusk falls. Korla City is the first "National Civilized City" (evaluated in 2009) in the five northwestern provinces, and it is also a city developed due to oil. I drove past the gate of PetroChina Tarim Oilfield Company in the middle of the night yesterday, and I was very impressed. It was a grand, powerful enterprise.

I found a local restaurant on the Internet, Drunken Beauty Spicy Chicken.

Spicy chicken, the store's signature dish, but it's not to our taste.

      Sweet and Sour Pork (Chicken)

      fried yogurt

The lanterns are in full bloom, the moon is shining in the sky, and the night of Pear City in southern Xinjiang is beautiful. The first time I heard the name Korla, it was due to the Korla fragrant pear.

Wanda Jinhua Hotel, the neon lights are flickering, and the light and shadow are changing. The prosperity of this western frontier city is no less than that of the inland cities.

In Korla in the morning, the streets are tidy, tall buildings stand tall, the trees are lush and full of vitality.

Korla was founded in September 1979. It is a young city and a rapidly developing city. I once drove past the Kongque River Scenic Tourist Belt in the urban area, with green grass, blooming flowers and pleasant scenery. It is a beautiful greening and beautifying line and a tourist scenic line in Korla. Unfortunately, I don’t have time to take a stroll.

Today's Korla has become a modern city integrating the customs of the Western Regions and the charm of a water town. It has both the prosperity of the inland cities and the tranquility of the frontier towns; it has the historical origin of the Loulan civilization and the Silk Road culture, and has streets Spacious, smooth roads, modern style with row upon row of high-rise buildings; not only the countryside, snow peaks, grasslands and desert scenery outside the city complement each other, but also the beauty of flowers, small bridges, flowing water, pavilions, and swaying lights and shadows in the city Huan; Korla fragrant pears are well-known at home and abroad and spread all over the world, and there is a moving picture scroll of swans inhabiting the city center and living in harmony with the general public.
