Preface

Searching for the distant places I traveled with my parents in my memory (not counting the surrounding provinces of tens of hundreds of kilometers), I was surprised to realize that maybe, the last time my father took me to Beidaihe in 1991, and that time my mother did not Colleagues, I didn’t know anything at that time, I only knew how to eat and play. I was younger than my daughter now, and I wet the bed in a guest house in the capital.

ashamed! And sad.

This year, the daughter conspired with her. Taking advantage of the summer vacation of the school, the two launched a persuasion offensive against the two elders. They swore oaths and finally agreed to travel, so they hurriedly did their homework, and finally locked in an 8-day, 7-night round trip from Shenzhen to Taiwan around the island. Travel with a group.

Since it is a group tour, it is natural that there is no way to talk nonsense about the hotel itinerary and meals in the travel notes, but who said that you must travel independently to write a travel note? In fact, although a group tour lacks some of the characteristics of independent travel, a good group tour is worry-free, convenient, and has a lot of knowledge worth recording. This article simply uses a running account, according to the itinerary, and writes what comes to mind, mainly from the tour guide. All kinds of small stalks, right to forget. (In fact, there is another decisive factor in choosing to travel with a group, that is, the wife does not come with you, so you can’t handle it yourself)

departure

As mentioned in the previous travel notes, compared to the mainland, Taiwan is of course much smaller, with simple terrain, tropical and subtropical climate, frequent typhoons and earthquakes, long north-south and narrow east-west, and a central mountain range running north-south. The island is divided into east and west sides. The big cities and population are mainly on the flat land in the west and north, while the south and east are much deserted.

Tour guide: Taiwan usually has 50-60 typhoons every year, more than 70 typhoons, typhoons blow from the Pacific Ocean, and after hitting the central mountain range, they are much weaker, but Taiwan also needs fresh water brought by typhoons, and earthquakes Mostly in the east.

The sequence of places to visit this time is: Taipei - Nantou - Kaohsiung - Kenting - Taitung - Hualien - Taipei

Taipei

In fact, it is Taoyuan, and Taoyuan surrounds Taipei in all directions. The so-called Taipei Airport is actually in Taoyuan, because it was already past nine o'clock in the evening when we took the evening flight and arrived at the hotel where we stayed.

Tour guide: Taipei itself has an airport, but there are not many routes.

Nantou

There are 4 scenic spots in Nantou: Cingjing Farm, Alishan, Sun Moon Lake and Buddha/Light/Temple

Cingjing Farm:

the next morning

Tour guide: After clearing up wasteland and logging on the mountain, people simply built a farm on the mountain and raised sheep, and it became a tourist attraction over time.

In fact, the sheep in Cingjing Farm are just matching items. What is really worth seeing is the environment, because the farm is built on the mountain. If the weather is good, you can see the continuous mountains in the distance from here, there are stands and telescopes, and various places in the distance. The introduction of the mountain peaks is basically 2-4 kilometers in height, a little shorter than Mount Fuji, and 2-3 times that of Wutong Mountain in Shenzhen. Although the ground temperature in the city is over 30 degrees and sultry, the farm is breezy.

Sun Moon Lake:

In the afternoon of the second day, the weather changed suddenly and became cloudy, so I saw a cloudy version of Sun Moon Lake, and took a boat to the opposite Xuan/Guang/Si

Tour guide: Xuan/Guang/There is "Grandma's Tea Eggs" at the foot of Sishan Mountain. This is the only vendor, because when Grandma was still a little girl, she was the only vendor who registered. From the earliest day, she sold a few An egg, and later developed the tourism industry and sold thousands of eggs a day, from single-handedly to the whole family and a bunch of relatives working together, the tax was raised three times.

Tour guide: Because grandma’s tea eggs are so easy to sell, when they are sold out, they close, so someone said that tea eggs are more expensive than yz bombs, meaning they can’t be bought, but later it was misinterpreted as ridiculing that they even eat tea eggs I'm sorry (anyway, now I'm starting to say I can't afford mustard)

The last time I came to Sun Moon Lake, the weather was very good, the sun shone on the water, and there was a particularly beautiful blue-green color.

Alishan:

On the morning of the third day, I went to Alishan. Mainland tourists going to Taiwan must go to Sun Moon Lake and Alishan anyway, right?

It takes more than an hour to go to Alishan by car on the mountain road, which is about 2,000 meters above sea level. People grow betel nuts at a lower altitude and tea at a higher altitude. The mountain road is not barren, and residents and tea can be seen intermittently along the way. There are villages and other things, and occasionally there are streets. The destination on the mountain is actually a tea garden and a local aboriginal cultural tour garden. Most of the real local young people go out to work, and a few people stay to grow tea and work for tourist areas.

Buddha/Light/Mountain:

afternoon of the third day

Kaohsiung

fourth day

Tour guide: Kaohsiung is also called "Dagou". The people who went ashore at that time asked the natives where it was, and the natives said, DAGOU, so they called it Dagou. "Beat the dog", so the Japanese called it according to the literal meaning of beating/dog (the Japanese people are really big), and later, the Taiwanese followed the transliteration of the Japanese name, and it became "Kaohsiung".

Kaohsiung is a port city, once the fourth largest port in the world. In fact, if you are on your own, you can take a walk in Kaohsiung. If you go with a group tour, you can usually visit Kaohsiung Port, visit the /dog consulate, love river and so on.

Kaohsiung’s weather is unpredictable, but it’s still very face-saving. On the way the day before, I watched the heavy rain from a distance, and it didn’t get off much when I got off the car. When I was playing, I saw the consulate in the morning. The blue sky and white clouds, the heavy rain and the wind at lunch Big, the water spots are almost always hit horizontally, and it doesn't come down when I get on the car after eating.

Kenting

Kenting is at the southernmost tip of Taiwan. From the map, there are two capes stretching out to the ocean. The central mountain range just separates the two capes. The west cape is called Maobitou, and the east cape is called Eluanbi. Because of the lower latitude of Eluanbi, it is the southernmost place on the main island of Taiwan.

Tour guide: The reason why it is called Kenting is that people were exiled here to open up wasteland in the feudal era. At that time, the death rate across the Taiwan Strait was high, and it took many years for people to come back.

Tour guide: Kenting is rich in fruits, but in recent years, Taiwan’s lack of success has greatly affected the income of fruit farmers. Therefore, Kenting is very poor. Many stores have small boxes. If you buy something in other places in Taiwan, you will be given an invoice. If you use it, you can stuff it in and help the local people increase their financial allocation. This is called donating invoices.

The mangoes and pineapples in Kenting look very good, but the lotus seeds are not good-looking, but they are very delicious.

The movie "Cape No. 7" was filmed in Kenting.

The next day was sunny again!

Longyan, a little bit north of Eluanbi, standing or sitting on the lawn on the cliff, looking at the beach below, looking at the Pacific Ocean in the distance, blowing the wind, just smelling the edge of the Pacific Ocean, I already feel that there are ants feeling.

Guide: In the past, shipwrecks often occurred in the southern seas of Taiwan. Once a shipwreck occurred, some people and things on board would be washed ashore, and the aborigines would seize the things. In order to reduce such things, the head of the family built a lighthouse on the cape, because It will reduce the "income" of the aborigines. In order to prevent them from destroying it, the bulge was set up.

Taitung

sixth day

If Kenting is not prosperous enough, Taitung is even more deserted. It basically does not look like a city in common sense, and the hotel I live in is said to be not very remote. But ask the front desk how far is the nearest convenience store, and answer 20 minutes on foot. Is it safe at night? Answer: It is best not to go out. Ask if there is a problem with law and order. Answer: No, because there are wild dogs.

Of course, Taitung has the Bolang Avenue, which is full of local flavor, and the famous Takeshi tree, which I heard for the first time.

The guide language: "Bento" is a transliteration of Japanese.

Hualien

seventh day

Guide language: Hualien sky / blue. (first group)

The tour guide said that her ancestral home was Hunan. Later, her father came to Taiwan and finally married a wife there at the age of 45. They had three children, and the tour guide was the second.

Tour guide: Many old people live in Hualien and have never returned to Hualien for the rest of their lives. There are not many people alive now. If you see an old man in a wheelchair sunbathing on the streets of Hualien, it is likely to be him.

Taipei

afternoon of the seventh day

Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Taipei 101

Taipei

eighth day

Shi/Lin/Official/Residence/and the National Palace Museum in Taipei

Tour guide: At the beginning, there were more than 500,000 cultural relics, and they were gradually added to more than 600,000. Assuming that each batch of exhibits is 5,000 and exhibited for 3 months, it will take more than 30 years to complete a round of exhibition.

Tour guide: Jade cabbage, one of Concubine Jing’s dowry, because the family’s circumstances are not very good, so the quality of the Jade cabbage itself is not very good, but the craftsmen make perfect use of it. Cuiyu cabbage is so famous because it was discovered by tourists that the crickets on the vegetable leaves had broken their tentacles when they were exhibited before, so everyone tried their best to find the reason, and finally concluded that it was not broken by contemporary people, so the case was closed. Cabbage is also on fire.

Tour guide: In the past, the emperor could not eat meat when he was fasting. It seems that the stone is not formed naturally as a whole, but is stuck with beeswax on it, which pricks the pores (doesn’t it make you hungrier?)

Note: The tour guide's words are all the one-sided words of the tour guide, if there is any discrepancy, please let me know
