I accidentally heard my roommate discussing Xanadu. At first I thought it was talking about the beautiful scenery in Tao Yuanming's "Peach Blossom Spring", but after listening carefully, it turned out that she was talking about her hometown. There is such a real, quiet and peaceful place, so I decided to ask my little sisters to take a walk-and-go trip to see my roommate’s hometown Xanadu.
Day1: Taking advantage of the weekend, we decided to go on a short-distance trip, and also experience the comfort of fishermen described by Tao Yuanming.
We took the high-speed rail from Kunming and got off at Guangnan County Station. After about an hour’s drive, we arrived at Bamei Xanadu. With trepidation, we could finally experience the beautiful scenery seen by the fishermen described by Tao Yuanming.
After purchasing the tickets, we took a horse-drawn carriage to the entrance of Bamei in different ways of travel. Maybe you haven’t experienced the feeling of "paradise" here, so when you arrive at the entrance of Bamei, you will have a feeling-yes, this It is the "Xanadu" described by Tao Yuanming. The boat was propped up by an old boatman with a bamboo pole, skimming through the shadows of the jungle, and entered an A-shaped hole in the mountain wall, and was soon submerged in the darkness of the hole, only illuminated by the weak light of a torch. So as not to hit the wall of the cave or the reef in the water. Everyone held their breaths, only hearing the rustling sound of the hull across the water and the dripping sound of the stone cave.
We are like the fisherman described by Tao Yuanming, going through the deep and mysterious karst water-karst caves, heading for Bamei, a village that is almost isolated from the world and is called today's Peach Blossom Spring. The beauty of the dam is surrounded by mountains on all sides, with verdant trees on the mountains and lush green trees in the dam. The buffaloes walking in the fields, the small bridges and the flowing water are showing us a world that is difficult for you to touch. It is calm and serene, especially the big banyan trees in the village, which wrap the whole beauty of the dam into a ball of green. Under the big banyan tree, several Zhuang women wearing handkerchief horns on their heads and indigo-dyed homespun clothes were sitting on the bare roots of the big tree and were embroidering; Leading a group of chickens, looking for food leisurely, a quiet and peaceful scene. Bamei preserves the original customs perfectly.
Day2: Woke up early and asked a driver to go to Nongren Valley, which is about 23 kilometers away from our hotel. Mulu Nongren Valley is located in Mulu Village, Dongbao Township, Guangnan County, Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It was built in the late Tang Dynasty. It is a pure Zhuang village and the birthplace of Zhuang Yawai culture. The Xiyang River runs through the village, with verdant old trees and waterfalls dotted along the river, simple and rich folk customs, and a long history of rice farming culture.
Walking across the old but stable bridge, looking up, on the cliff in the middle of the mountain is the longest colorful glass path in the country with a total length of 1.6 kilometers, a width of 1.5 meters, and a height of more than 280 meters, of which the 9D glass path is 368 meters. Standing on the transparent glass plank road, looking down at the deep valley, you can feel the thrilling joy of walking in the air, and you can have a panoramic view of the thousands of ravines and the beautiful scenery of the canyon.
Standing on the glass plank road and looking at the Zhuang village opposite, the houses are well-arranged and have a special flavor.
The canyon is full of spring, and the trees on both sides of the river sprout new green, echoing the emerald green river.
Thousands of miles of marriage are connected by a thread, and the Yuanlai Waterfall in the valley is said to be very spiritual in making wishes.
Tired from walking, take a sightseeing cruise and drive slowly on the calm water, the breeze blows, life is slow and peaceful, as if everything is very slow, and the exhaustion of the body after a day of playing is worth it. The rocks on both sides of the canyon are also strange.
After the tour is completed, the last destination, Guangnan County Station, ends a wonderful week with twilight.
There are still many places in Guangnan that are worth exploring, such as Dishui Village, Liulang City, Jiulong Mountain, Sanla Rafting... Looking forward to the next meeting with the little sisters, looking forward to the next trip, because I like a group of people joy.
