My daughter finished her college entrance examination this year and has a long vacation. She has already been to Hokkaido, Japan, and Beijing. Because of the decoration of the freshman dormitory, I suddenly learned that the school will not start until October. Haha, it's a pity not to arrange a trip for the 4-month vacation that I have never had before. But it is impossible for my husband and I to take a long vacation, so the refreshing Guizhou became our new destination, and we set off during the three days of the Mid-Autumn Festival. When arranging the itinerary, we found that Guizhou is offering a 50% discount on tickets for all non-Guizhou local residents starting from June 15th! We saved a sum of admission fees at once.

There are quite a lot of interesting tourist attractions in Guizhou. With Guiyang as the center, all of them are far apart. The traffic is not very developed, so the routes must be well planned. I did some homework before, and finally delineated the scope of activities centered on Guiyang, so that there are three famous scenic spots to visit in three full days, and the two half-days of arrival and departure are spent in or around Guiyang City.

On the first day, Shanghai Hongqiao flew to Guiyang

Take the airport bus in Guiyang to our hotel and feel the twists and turns of Guiyang city. The city is built on the hills, and overpasses can be seen everywhere. Because they have to connect the mountains at both ends, the piers of the bridges are very high. The dots of tall buildings have witnessed the changes of the city.

Take the No. 2 airport bus from the airport to the train station, and leave when the seat is full. If the seat is not full within half an hour, it will leave, 10 yuan per person. If there are many people, it is recommended to take a taxi directly. The taxi fare on the day we left was 43 yuan.

After taking a rest at the hotel, we walked for 10 minutes and took bus No. 203 at Guiyang Railway Station to Qingyan Ancient Town. Guiyang Railway Station and Qingyan Ancient Town are the two terminals of bus No. 203, with 36 stops in the whole journey. Due to road construction, it was particularly congested, so it took almost 2 hours to reach the ancient town. The ancient town pass is 30 yuan, and we only bought the ticket for the commercial street, 5 yuan per person. Since we were talking to non-local residents of Guizhou during this period, we spent 7.5 yuan for three people with ID cards.

Qingyan Ancient Town is one of the four ancient towns in Guizhou along with Zhenyuan in Qiandongnan, Bing'an in Chishui and Longli in Jinping. According to reports, the ancient town was first built in the Ming Dynasty and was originally a military fortress. A large number of ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties have been well preserved in the town. The filming of the movie "Looking for Guns" made Qingyan Ancient Town known to more people.

The buildings of the ancient town are built on the hillside, with four gates in the east, west, south and north. The terminus of No. 203 Road is next to Ximen. Dingguangmen, the south gate, is the most magnificent gate among the four major city gates. Historically, it was the first gate guarding the south gate of Guiyang. The gate tower and city wall made of huge stones are tall and mighty, coupled with the winding stone road outside the city and the farmland on both sides, many promotional photos of Qingyan Ancient Town are from here.

Although there are many similarities between the ancient towns in various places, I think the most beautiful place in Qingyan Ancient Town is the back street. The path is as smooth as a mirror and the quaint outer wall. The green branches protruding from the wall are full of beauty.

I came back and continued to sit for 2 hours, and my waist almost broke. Next to the terminal is Erqi Street. In order to avoid unhygienic diarrhea, we ate fish in sour soup at the nearby Hongtong City, 260 yuan for 3 people, delicious and clean, and good service.

the next day

This is quite a hassle, so we bought the Huangguoshu Scenic Spot through train project on Ctrip, took a taxi to the meeting point in front of the Guizhou Hotel in the morning, and departed at 7 o'clock to Huangguoshu Waterfall, one of the three largest waterfalls in the world and the largest in Asia. The karst landform along the way is eye-catching. It is different from the rolling mountains in Sichuan. To put it bluntly, there are many special "mantou" mountains along the way, natural parks, beautiful!

I bought tickets and sightseeing tickets online in advance, which is very convenient. I don’t need to queue up to exchange tickets at the entrance of the scenic spot, but enter the scenic spot directly with my ID card. After getting on and off the through train, we dispersed separately. According to the suggestion of the tour guide, we walked through "Tianxing Bridge", "Great Waterfall" and "Dupo Pond" in turn.

With the flow of people pushing each other, we saw the long-awaited waterfall. Layers of whitecaps flew straight down, making a huge roar. From a distance, the white water is like cotton, and the flowers will scatter without bows and bullets. A row of drainage rushes down from the 100-meter-deep cliff, and the splashed mist is like smoke. The momentum is like thousands of troops riding on the snow; We were obviously unprepared, and our hair, clothes, and mobile phones were all drenched in huge droplets of water vapor. And we are not willing to buy very simple rain capes on the roadside, which cost 5 yuan each. I told the car tour guide that there was a heavy rain the day before yesterday, so the Shuilian Cave was closed for safety reasons, so we saw a waterfall with a huge amount of water, good luck!

Huangguoshu Waterfall is in the valley, so we took the big escalator up: 50 yuan/person (round trip), 30 yuan/person (one way). This is still worth it, there are two very high escalators, otherwise we must be exhausted.

The traffic in Guizhou is still very congested, and there are some problems with the setting of traffic lights. For example, in some places, only 4-5 cars can go through a change light. When we arrived at Guizhou Hotel and got off at 8:00, we bought supplies for the next two days at the nearby Hualian Supermarket, and found that many shops around were closed, and we didn’t dare to try some small shops. So I bought three boxes of instant noodles for dinner.

On the third day and the fourth day, we participated in a two-day tour of Libo Xiaoqikong Scenic Spot + Qianhu Miao Village in Qiandongnan Xijiang from Guiyang. Xijiang Miao Village is located in Xijiang Town, Leishan County, Guizhou, about 200 kilometers away from Guiyang. There are more than 1,250 households and more than 5,600 people here. It is the largest Miao village in the world, and it is also known as a thousand-household Miao village. I have studied it for a long time before, and this product best meets our requirements. I went to 2 elite scenic spots, and the price is also suitable. It is a real pure play group. Otherwise, if you go by yourself, it will be tiring to look at the information on the Internet: the shuttle bus from Leishan to Xijiang Town is a minibus, and you take the bus at the bus station. 36 kilometers, the road is not easy to walk, and the villages along the way frequently get on and off people, and the drive takes more than 2 hours. The morning shift is at 7:50 am and the last shift is around 4:00 pm. In addition, Kaili also has a shuttle bus directly to Xijiang, and you can take the bus at the State Bus Station.

At 6:20 in the morning, the free car picks up the guests within the 1st Ring Road of Guiyang City and gathers at the designated place, Dachanglong Commercial Plaza. In this way, it will not happen that the car and the tour guide cannot be found. After turning around the peaks and loops of the Panshan Highway, a large number of dark red Miaojia stilted buildings on both sides of the hillside poured into the eye, giving people a huge visual shock. This is Xijiang Miao Village. Qianhu Miao Village is surrounded by mountains on all sides, and there are many mountains and hills. The terraced fields follow the mountains and go straight to the sky. Seeing that women are all wearing high buns and a big flower on their heads, it should be said that their dresses are all elegant, which is the popular ethnic style in the city: cotton and linen clothes, batik embroidery, silver accessories, authentic, original ecology!

At 11:30, we first watched the local folk song and dance performances arranged for free by Xijiang Scenic Area. It was the Mid-Autumn Festival, and the Miao girl went to the auditorium to distribute moon cakes. When the audience sang "Ode to the Motherland", the atmosphere was warm.

After the long table lunch, there is free time for activities. It is very hard to walk on the stone road with luggage under the scorching sun. So after taking a sightseeing bus from No. 1 Fengyu Bridge to the homestay in the middle of the mountain we booked, we rested in the hotel for 2 hours because it was too hot. We have heard before that there will be no sunny days in Guizhou. Is this true?

At around 5 pm, the power of the sun weakened a little, and we felt more comfortable, so we could enjoy the beautiful scenery of Miao Village leisurely. After passing the pastoral sightseeing area near No. 1 Fengyu Bridge, rice plants are mainly used here. Look at the country roads, smell the smell of straw, and see the golden color of the harvest season. You can really feel the pastoral atmosphere.

Following the tour guide, my daughter and I experienced [Miao clothing changing and taking pictures] My husband is the best photographer, let us change into beautiful Miao costumes and take pictures as souvenirs.

Xijiang Miao Village is located in the valley, and the Baishui River meanders, dividing the Miao Village into two. Layers of wooden buildings on stilts stretch upward from both sides of the river along the mountain, and the continuous dark red walls are brilliant in the setting sun. The beautiful leanings on the balcony railings, patterned window lattices, and thick wooden doors all interpret the ancient and profound history of the Miao family.

For dinner, I went to the restaurant recommended by the proprietress. It was not on the main street, and I had to climb stairs to eat. The taste is indeed very good.

The sightseeing car in Miao Village can take a total of four times. In addition to taking the No. 7 Bridge to and from the North Gate twice, we took the car to the "observation platform" to experience the night view. The moon is round and bright in the Mid-Autumn Festival, overlooking the night view of Xijiang Miao Village. When night falls, thousands of star lights are lit up, and the stars are dotted. It is very spectacular.

At night, when you go back to the stilted building with a panoramic view, you can lean on the railing and watch from a distance. Under the blowing of the mountain wind, you can see the lights of thousands of houses all over the mountains and plains, as if the sky is full of stars...a good night's dream.

On the fourth day, the Miao Village was very quiet in the early morning. After pulling the suitcases and feeling the peaceful atmosphere again, we went to Libo by car.

The convenient and fast transportation between each scenic spot in Xiaoqikong Scenic Area saved us a lot of time. The water of Wolongtan is blue, with clear reflections, approaching Jiuzhaigou. But the din of voices spoiled the quiet atmosphere.

After visiting Cuigu Waterfall, we came to the Water Forest. According to the tour guide's suggestion, the essence of this trip is mainly in the second half, so try not to spend too much time on Wolongtan and Cuigu Waterfall. The water forest is about 600 meters long and is divided into upper and lower sections. Dense trees and shrubs grow in the valley, forming an emerald barrier. The clear river flows down from the miscellaneous woods on the riverbed, but the trees are deeply rooted in the water and remain motionless. It can be said that "water flows on stones, and trees grow in water". Walking through the forest along the trail, the dense woods cover the sun and feel very comfortable.

Laya Waterfall is beautiful, but it is far from Doupotang Waterfall and Huangguoshu Waterfall in terms of momentum and scale. Maybe because of aesthetic fatigue, I focused on the 68-level waterfall in the distance. I took pictures of its layers, its gradual spread, its different shapes, and its various scenes. . In the narrow river valley less than 2 kilometers long, there are 68 waterfalls densely distributed along the high and low riverbed. Small and exquisite, changing scenery with every move.

Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge - Located at the head of the scenic spot, the name of the scenic spot is derived from the bridge. This is a small and exquisite seven-hole ancient stone bridge. The bridge is 25 meters long, the bridge deck is 4 meters wide, and the arch height is 4 meters. It was built in the 15th year of Qing Daoguang (1836).

On the fifth day, we will take an evening flight back to Shanghai today. During the day, we went to the cost-effective Qianling Mountain Park recommended by the tour guide a few days ago.

Qianlingshan Park has four gates, east, west, north, south, among which the south gate is the main gate of the park, and the most buses pass by. The cableway up the mountain is also on the south gate side, so tourists are advised to enter the park from the south gate. The hotel we chose that day was right next to the east gate of the company. Walking in from Cherry Blossom Lane, it felt like a fitness paradise for the elderly.

It is cost-effective, I think it is not only because of the low ticket price (you can also get a 50% discount), but also because there are panda houses, zoos, and monkey houses inside. Now raising animals is a high-cost investment. If you want to climb the mountain, you can climb up the stairs along the Jiuqu Path. The vegetation on the mountain is dense and the air is very fresh. There is a Hongfu Temple on the top of the mountain, which was built in the Qing Dynasty. The ticket is 2 yuan. It is said that praying in the temple is very effective, so many believers come to worship. There are a lot of macaques on the road from Hongfu Temple to the mountain. Many tourists come to Qianling Mountain Park to see these macaques. The monkeys are freed in the park. Take it well and hide the food well, because monkeys will come to grab it. The monkeys are also very smart and lively. Some people went to tease the monkeys, and everyone laughed together.

This trip to Guizhou gave us a new understanding of Guizhou. Guizhou is also developing very well, which has really changed our traditional impression of Guizhou! Because the scenic spots are far away, if there is a lot of people during the summer vacation or during the Golden Week, in addition to the necessary time on the road, it will be very time-consuming to line up various sightseeing cars in the scenic spot, and it is completely impossible to go to different places without taking a sightseeing car. internal attractions. In that case, the time for real play will be tense, and there will be no time to quietly feel the beauty of nature. So please plan your itinerary. Guizhou is beautiful and worth going again. Although the expressway is well repaired, but because the scenic spots are far away, next time I hope to go to northern Guizhou and take a red tour!
