It takes six hours to take the high-speed train from Guangzhou to Kaili High-speed Railway Station. I bought the first high-speed train, and the car was chaotic and lethargic. Regardless of the imagination of Kaili or Xijiang, it is an old town, but when you get off the high-speed rail station, you will be attracted by the noisy cherry blossoms in front of Kaili station.
First Encounter·Miao Family Rivers and Lakes
The bus stop for Qianhu Miao Village in Xijiang is next to the high-speed rail station. After lunch, I bought a package ticket for the village (ticket + ticket + shuttle bus), and arrived at the gate of Miao Village after a two-hour drive. It was particularly fortunate that it happened to be performance time, and the elders of the Miao family gave the welcome wine first, and then went to ask the girls of the Miao family to beg for drinks, and most of them were drunk before entering the door.
There is a shuttle bus when you enter the door. The owner of the homestay who picks up the guests is already waiting at the drop-off point with a pole. Stop and go, eat and drink, the supporting facilities of Qianhu Miao Village in Xijiang are very mature, but the prices are not very expensive (compared to other scenic spots).
The stockade is built along the river, and walking along the river can almost run through the entire stockade. Friends can rent a set of Miaojia clothing for 20-30 yuan, and stand by the river to take pictures. On both sides of the river are shops for eating or selling souvenirs, but they are not the same. The main street tends to be a snack street, and the small road across the river is more of a stall selling silver jewelry.
Standing in the middle of the bridge is another look. What is particularly interesting is that where the two geese stand obediently, the shop next to it is called: The Story of Two Gooses (I didn’t enter the shop, I don’t know the taste).
On the way, I met a restaurant with a Miao family style, and chatted with a group of like-minded friends. I was very happy and always met some small surprises.

Get on the bus at the shuttle bus point next to the field, and drive all the way to the top of the mountain in the night. What you see is the lights of Wanjia.

Folk Customs Miao Singing and Dance
The most conscientious thing is the large-scale Miao singing and dancing show around 11:00 (seems) every morning. You can enter the venue with your ticket and ID card. If you go early, you can grab a good seat in the front row.
It's really big, and it feels like half the village has been mobilized, including the older brothers and younger sisters of the Miao family, as well as the energetic old people singing the folk songs of the Miao family.
Friends who have watched the show can go to the small river to rent a set of traditional Miao village costumes (there are styles for boys and girls) and take a group photo with the ancient Miao village!
