day1+2: Yelang Scenic Area + Huangguoshu + Huangguoshu Bailian Hot Spring Hotel
As a traditional scenic spot, I didn't report much hope at first, and the actual experience was good. Because I travel at the wrong peak, it is always said that fewer people are king.
We had a morning flight. After getting off the plane, we picked up the car and drove to Huangguoshu by ourselves. We arrived at the hotel around one o'clock. I wanted to spare the next day to enjoy Huangguoshu, so I went to the nearby Yelang Scenic Spot, which is the arrogant Yelang.

If you don't take this big elevator, you have to walk for about 30 minutes to reach the viewing platform. Behind the first viewing point is the winding mountain road, which can go around to the back of the waterfall, and the inside is like a water curtain cave. Focus, on the third morning, we went out for a stroll. The location of Bolian Hotel is very good. The entrance of the scenic spot is opposite to the door. day3: Qingyan Ancient Town + Wenfan Zhuangyuan Bieyuan Hotel
From Huangguoshu Waterfall to Qingyan Ancient Town by car, Wenfan Zhuangyuan Hotel has its own parking lot. When you drive to the north gate and report the name of the person who made the reservation, you can go directly to the underground parking lot.
Qingyan Ancient Town, one of the four ancient towns in Guizhou, is located in the southern suburbs of Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. In order to allow more tourists to pass by the shops, the scenic spot deliberately divides the line into several sections, that is to say, I have to walk from the first entrance to the second entrance for more than ten or twenty minutes with my luggage. Fortunately, I did not get off that day. Rain, but because we had shooting equipment, we walked to the second entrance in a very embarrassing manner, so we couldn't help but turn around and leave. What if there are old people and children? After staying in the B&B, I heard that many guests actually stayed with anger.
After checking the ticket at the second entrance, take the scenic car to the viewing platform, and then change to the viewing platform to the first wind and rain bridge. Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village is a place where the "primitive ecology" culture of the Miao people is preserved intact. It is composed of more than 10 natural villages built on the mountain. It is currently the largest Miao village in China and even in the world.
During several great migrations, the Miao people split into many different branches. Among them, the Liu Clan, Xi Clan, You Clan, and Gou Clan arrived at Rongjiang, Guizhou almost at the same time. Since the Xi Clan traveled around Rongjiang in many places, they arrived at Xijiang later than the Liu Clan. The time when the Xi clan arrived in Xijiang was about 600 years ago, but before the arrival of the Xi clan, the Miao "Shang" clan had already lived here. The "Xi" in the place name of Xijiang refers to the Xi clan, and "Jiang" is connected with "discussion", that is, Xijiang is the place where the "Xi" clan begged from the "Shang" clan, hence the name "Xijiang". After the "Xi" clan arrived and settled in Xijiang, other branches of the Miao nationality moved in successively, forming a Miao fusion with the "Xi" clan as the main body. It is said that Xijiang has a history of more than one thousand years. There is a close relationship between the Xijiang Miao people and Chi You, the ancestor of the Miao people. According to the genealogy of the sons and fathers of the Xijiang Miao nationality recorded in "Green Shadows", there were 284 generations from Chiyou to 1732, which shows that the Miao people living in Xijiang are the direct descendants of Chiyou.
In terms of history, it is really very long, and as a minority, the Miao people wear jewelry with distinctive characteristics, so even if you have never been to the Miao Village, you have heard of it. But this also just affects the impression of this place as a tourist attraction to tourists. For example, when we chatted with Miao friends, the local characteristics are indeed Miao embroidery, indigo dyeing, and silver ornaments. But it seems that since the development of the domestic tourism industry, as long as it is a scenic spot, it is almost the same. If you have traveled to Yunnan, you will feel that the so-called characteristic culture here is no different from the ones sold on the streets. We have also seen a lot of very beautiful Miao embroidery, whether it is symmetrical graphics or national totems, the embroidery pieces are exquisite, but the souvenirs made are not interesting, and the ones sold all over the street are the same. It seems that there has been no change in the past ten years , not to mention the sense of design. It's a pity that it was the most distinctive place, but it turned out to be the least distinctive.
For the Miao Village, the night view of thousands of households on the Xijiang River is very famous, so I suggest that you must choose an accommodation where you can see the scenery of the Miao Village. You don’t need to go to any viewing platform, and you can see the whole picture every day by drinking tea in the room.
Architecturally, the Miao buildings in Qianhu Miao Village in Xijiang are mainly wooden stilted buildings, with a bucket-shaped roof structure. There are two types of stilted buildings on flat ground and sloping stilted buildings, which are generally three-story four-story three-room or five-story four-room structures. The bottom layer is used to store production tools, keep poultry and livestock, store fertilizer or use it as a toilet. The second floor is used as the living room, main room, bedroom and kitchen. On the outside of the main room, there is a unique "beauty leaning", which is called "step breath" in Miao language. It is mainly used for enjoying the shade, embroidery and rest, which is a major feature of Miao architecture. The third layer is mainly used to store production and living materials such as grain and feed. But now the first floor of the scenic area is basically shops, and it may not be obvious if you go up the mountain.
There are seven Wind and Rain Bridges along the river for thousands of Miao villages in the Xijiang River. In order to improve the Fengshui conditions of the villages and facilitate the lives of residents, most Miao villages have built Fengyu Bridges near the villages to store wind and store air and shelter from wind and rain. There used to be wind and rain wooden bridges in Xijiang, mainly including Pingzhai Fengyu Bridge from Pingzhai to Ouga and Nanshou Fengyu Bridge in Nangui Village, which locks the Fengshui of Dazhai in Xijiang. This section is my favorite during this trip. After experiencing the hematemesis in Xijiang Scenic Area, I still follow my own way of playing, and I will not go to Fanjing Mountain.
Fanjing Mountain, named after "Brahma Pure Land", is located at the junction of Yinjiang, Jiangkou and Songtao (southwestern) counties in Tongren City, Guizhou Province.
