I often hear people say that Guizhou is "the sky is not sunny for three days, the land is not three feet flat, and people are not three cents silver." Of course, this is an old saying, but it is not unreasonable. My husband said that you will arrive in Guiyang when you see small hills rising from the ground, which look like small buns just out of the cage. Sure enough, when the plane is about to land, you will see green hills one by one on the ground. Although the ground is uneven , but a piece of verdant green, I heard later that Guizhou is still a very green province. At this time, it is the hottest season in Beijing. When I got off the plane, I first felt the coolness of the climate. We live in a restaurant near Qianling Park, surrounded by places selling snacks. In the evening we had dinner at a place called "Dong Xiang Restaurant" on Beijing Road. It was quite unique and the price was not too expensive.
We drove to Huangguoshu early the next morning. This national key scenic spot is located in the southwest of Guizhou Province, 128 kilometers away from the provincial capital Guiyang City, and 45 kilometers away from the urban area of Anshun, the western tourist center city. We thought it would be 128 kilometers from Guiyang to Huangguoshu. The highway was less than 1 hour away, but the driver told us that there was only 80 kilometers of highway, and a section was under construction, so the actual driving was nearly 3 hours. Arriving at Huangguoshu Scenic Area, we bought a ticket with Tianxing Bridge for 150 yuan, and we entered the scenic spot. According to reports, the Huangguoshu Waterfall (77.8 meters high, 101.0 meters wide) is the center of the scenic area, and there are 18 waterfalls of different sizes, including majestic, strange, dangerous and beautiful, forming a huge "family" of waterfalls. The Guinness Headquarters of the World named it the largest waterfall group in the world and was included in the Guinness Book of World Records. As early as more than 300 years ago, Xu Xiake, a famous geographer and traveler in my country, visited Huangguoshu, so there is a statue of Xu Xiake in the scenic spot. Surrounding it is a huge bonsai area, with various plants in different shapes, but also unique. It's just that I didn't come here to see bonsai, so I hurried past and went straight to my destination.
There is a rolling ladder here to go down to the waterfall, but we still want to walk over and see this magical waterfall from a different angle. The waterfall is a section of the Baishui River. The Baishui River falls straight down from the cliffs in the northeast mountains where the mountains overlap. Its overwhelming bang. When walking down the mountain road, I saw a white line in the distance, and my heart immediately became excited, thinking that I saw the real face of the waterfall. My husband came and told me, don't worry, this is just a small side, and the most spectacular is still behind. So we moved forward. Huangguoshu Waterfall is the most spectacular waterfall in the Huangguoshu Waterfall Group. It is the only waterfall in the world that can be viewed from six directions: up, down, front, back, left and right. A waterfall that runs through and can be heard, viewed and touched from inside and outside the cave. Xu Xiake, a great traveler in the Ming Dynasty, inspected the waterfall and praised: "Pounding beads and falling jade, the droplets surge back, like smoke rising into the air, and the momentum is very majestic; It is strong, and there are those that are several times taller, but there has never been such a wide and big one."
Walking to the side of the waterfall, looking at the past from here, the waterfall is magnificent and full of white flowers. I only feel its height, but it doesn't appear wide. When you walk forward and finally come to its front, you can see a wide waterfall. Because the water volume is not the largest, you can see that it is split into many strands by the rocks, and the waterfall flows straight down. There is an uproar when the ice falls falls. The waves splashed everywhere, and the water droplets were light like drizzle. The water is steaming, refracted by the sun, and turned into a rainbow, which is so colorful and beautiful. When you face it, how many people exclaimed "It's so spectacular!" This is the most magnificent main scene among the Baishuihe waterfalls: Huangguoshu Waterfall! I have loved water since I was a child. Every time I see water, I will always have an inexplicable excitement. Facing such a magnificent waterfall surrounded by mountains, I am even more excited. Huangguoshu Waterfall is composed of three major scenic spots: Waterfall, Shuilian Cave and Rhinoceros Pool. The Great Falls is really never tire of seeing, especially because of the different viewing directions and angles, the scenery is also changing, presenting a unique picture. I first climbed up to the Waterfall Watching Pavilion, overlooking the entire Huangguoshu Waterfall; the large white brocade-like water curtain is like a screen drawn between two mountains, showing you the power and majesty of the water. Then climb up to the Wangshui Pavilion and have a bird's-eye view of the majestic Huangguoshu Waterfall, which will make people feel emotional. If there is a poet's inspiration, there will be wonderful poems gushing out. When walking forward, the water mist gently floats towards you, caressing you softly, if it is not afraid that it will wet the lens of the camera, I really hope to be moistened by it comfortably, looking at that The white mist floating over really feels like stepping into a fairyland. Behind the flying waterfall, there is a 134-meter-long cliff cave, named "Shuilian Cave". The most satisfying thing is to enter the Shuilian Cave, stand on the "small platform" here, stretch out your hand, and feel the thrill of the big waterfall rushing towards you. This is the most magnificent scene in Huangguoshu Waterfall. In addition to the big hole window hidden by the big waterfall, the water curtain has 5 other small holes, all of which are covered by the water curtain composed of five waterfalls. Through the gap of the water flow, you will feel like you are behind the pearl curtain. Peeping into the outside world, the green hills and green trees appear and disappear, and the light changes from time to time, making the scenery even more magical and charming. Watching the huge water curtain composed of big waterfalls in the big cave is thrilling and overwhelming, which gives people a sense of grandeur and magnificence, while the small curtains composed of small waterfalls on the other five cave windows are either beautiful, delicate, or beautiful. Hazy, or clear, or crystal clear. All of this is like entering the water curtain cave in "Journey to the West" and entering the wonderful realm of mythology.
When you walk out of Shuilian Cave, walk across a suspension bridge on the river, and come down to the rhino pool. From the waterfall viewing platform here, you can look up at the waterfall falling from the sky; the big waterfall flies straight down, with great momentum, and falls into the "rhinoceros pool". It is said that the depth of the pool here is 11.1 meters. When you look at it, the pool is covered by countless water droplets splashed by the waterfall. The water formed a few falls to the right with a small drop, and then it rolled forward comfortably. Looking from a distance, it looks like a large ink painting. No wonder those literati left a lot of praise here. The waterfall is surrounded by mountains on three sides, and can be viewed from the mountain. The mountains are green and the water is beautiful. Under the nourishment of the water, various plants are very luxuriant, especially the mangosteen, which has a thick bowl mouth, tall and straight, and the air is fresh and refreshing.
Seeing the beautiful mountains and rivers really makes people have the urge to embrace nature. Confucius said: "Those who know enjoy water, those who are benevolent enjoy mountains; those who know move, those who are benevolent are still; The wise are happy, and the benevolent live long." Using landscapes to describe the benevolent and wise, the image is vivid and profound. A wise man is also a wise man. Smart people are quick to respond and active in thinking through reasoning, and their temperament is like water flowing continuously, so it is compared with water. A benevolent person is a benevolent person. A benevolent person is content with righteousness and reason, kind and tolerant but not easily impulsive, and has a quiet temperament like a mountain, which is stable and unmoving, so the mountain is used as a comparison. I am an ordinary person, happy water is also happy mountain, mountains and rivers have their own merits, but benevolence and wisdom are our pursuit, even if we can’t do it, we should yearn for it. After leaving the scenic spot, the driver took us to the Waterfall Restaurant on the back street for lunch. This place is condescending, and we can see the top of the waterfall, and we can see the Baishui River coming from a distance. On the rock, there is no support suddenly. Once it sank, the originally gentle water flow suddenly turned into a waterfall, rushing to the bottom of the pool with a lot of noise.
Some people say that Huangguoshu Waterfall is just a waterfall, just look at it. But I think that the charm of this great waterfall lies in its impressiveness, audibility and feeling. Its water volume changes all the year round. According to the introduction, when there is a flood, the flow rate reaches 1500 cubic meters per second. The water droplets aroused by the waterfall splash more than 100 meters high, like clouds and fog, and sprinkled on the Huangguoshu Market above. The rising water drops, like hundreds of millions of shining stars, drift with the wind and float all over the sky, making people dizzy. The waterfall is clearly divided into four branches, each with its own shape and personality. From left to right, the first branch has the smallest water potential, spreads freely, and is beautiful; the second branch has the largest water potential, is generally thick and majestic from top to bottom; Two, the top is large and the bottom is small, majestic; the fourth branch of water is the third, narrow at the top and wide at the bottom, chic. It was the middle water season when we went. People think that the scenery is the best when the water is middle water. Like a beautiful picture. When the water is small, the waterfall is divided into four branches, spreading on the entire rock wall, still without losing its "broad and big" momentum. So it's refreshing to watch.
