Lijiang
From November 10th to 27th, we spent 17 days visiting Lijiang, Dali, Kunming and Xishuangbanna in Yunnan, and returned home to Xi'an yesterday.
This trip is the longest and the happiest of all the trips I have made since I retired three years ago. I have expressed emotion many times: Yunnan not only has blue sky and white clouds, picturesque scenery, but also enjoys comfortable and happy high-quality services everywhere in the car ride, accommodation, and sightseeing, leaving a good impression of Yunnan in my heart.
At around nine o'clock in the morning on November 10, our plane landed at Lijiang Airport. The blue sky and white clouds replaced the light rain in the weather forecast, which made people feel more relaxed. Soon, the inn's pick-up service car arrived and quickly took us to the "Gudaoyuan" inn in the ancient city of Lijiang.
This inn is located in the heart of Lijiang Old Town, only a few minutes' walk from Sifang Street and the Water Wheel. The front desk of the inn is served by all handsome young men, who are post-90s young people from Northeast China, Gansu Province and Shaanxi Province respectively. But the care and thoughtful service for customers is no less than that of girls, which makes people feel more comfortable. The inn is well designed. There is a place for entertainment and play on the first floor; the corridor on the second floor is wide, with tea tables and wicker chairs for guests to drink tea and take a nap. Where there is space upstairs and downstairs, there are flowers embellished, so that the strangeness of the first-time guests disappears immediately, and a sense of affinity, relaxation and comfort arises spontaneously.
The ancient city of Lijiang can be described as "winding paths leading to seclusion". The streets and alleys are irregularly distributed, which puts people's sense of direction to the test. However, there is no need to worry about it. Now there are compass functions in mobile phones, and it is OK to distinguish them a little bit. . And this kind of layout also has unexpected surprises from time to time, "the willows are dark and the flowers are bright and another village". After walking through the same place several times, due to the different perspectives, one day suddenly brightens up and has new discoveries of new scenery. , maybe this is the endless charm...
The ancient city of Lijiang looks young and beautiful because it is nourished by the snow water of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Walking in the small streets of the ancient city, you can see the gurgling water on the side of the road everywhere. It is so quiet and unassuming, but it always reminds tourists that behind the trickle is the majestic and majestic snow mountain!
On the afternoon of arriving in Lijiang, we went to Shuhe Ancient Town not far away; on the second day, we climbed the Lion Mountain in the city, and then went to Lashihai Wetland Park; on the third day, we went to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
Shuhe Ancient Town has begun to take shape, and its layout can be described as elegant and charming. Because there are still some unfinished projects under construction, and the weather is a little cold on this day, there are not many tourists. We also roughly walked a few streets and returned. Climbing the Lion Mountain is very interesting. The mountain is not high, but the winding path is not tiring, because the various shops on the roadside are scattered and exquisite, and you can reach the top of the mountain without knowing it while walking. Overlooking the panoramic view of Lijiang from the Wangu Tower on the top of the mountain, the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is looming in the distance. On the way down the mountain, we consciously walked down another road, but accidentally saw the plaque of "Guppet's Former Residence". We only had a faint and vague impression in our memory, so we walked in. It turned out that Coubie was a Russian writer who had been active in Southwest China for a long time and knew Chinese and many languages. During the Anti-Japanese War, he was employed by the international aid organization "China Industrial Cooperative", and actively worked for China's Anti-Japanese War. He came to Lijiang in 1941 and lived there for nine years, which shows the unique charm of Lijiang among the places he walked. This old residence is an ordinary two-story structure, with a living room downstairs and bedrooms upstairs, with simple interior furnishings. From the photos and real objects on display, we can see the activities of this Russian writer during the Anti-Japanese War in China and the efforts and contributions he made to China's Anti-Japanese War.
There is a saying that tourism is nothing more than two major contents: beautiful scenery and delicious food. And the Lijiang food that left a good impression on me is the Lijiang Baba! . Another characteristic representative is waxed pork ribs, but I was worried about my teeth, so I didn't dare to taste it.
After the end of the tour the next day, we asked the waiter at the front desk about the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and the waiter quickly contacted us about joining a group to climb the mountain. That night, a relevant person brought us a travel contract. At around ten o'clock in the evening, the driver of the tourist business car called and made an appointment to meet at the intersection the next morning.
The fortune of Lijiang can be described as great: it is only 15 kilometers away from Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. When the car left the city, we saw the majestic appearance of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The closer the distance is, the more excited my heart is, the more excited I am, I wish I could step over to its side in one step.
Climbing the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain requires self-knowledge, so we chose the small cableway to climb the mountain, that is, we reached Yunshanping. However, here is also 3200 meters above sea level! And I think looking at the snow-capped mountains is no less than zero distance, and I can appreciate the variety of snow-capped mountains.
Walking down the small cableway, the snow-capped mountains in the distance are clearly displayed in front of you, crystal clear. The air is so clean and comfortable that people forget to breathe oxygen. Although it is already November, the grass is still green, the water is still clear, and the blue sky and white clouds seem to be within easy reach.
On the way down the mountain from the small cableway, I saw the Blue Moon Lake at the foot of the mountain from a distance. wonderland. When you get to its side, you will really be fascinated by the beautiful scenery! It is unbearable to leave! Intoxicated by the beautiful scenery and continuous shooting, I suddenly felt that the phone was getting hot, so I had to stop...
When I return, I step back and look back three times. It is difficult to describe Yiyi's farewell feeling with any words!
The three-day Lijiang tour is coming to an end, and I am really sad.
When we pulled our suitcases and bid farewell to the boys at the front desk, Zou at the front desk insisted on taking our luggage and seeing us off. We politely said, no, it’s only a few minutes away from the intersection, thank you for your kindness! However, Xiao Zou still sent us to the alley and waved goodbye.
There are not many words, but the sincerity is touching!
Lijiang left us with beauty and comfort.
Dali
At 11 am on November 13th, I took the train to Dali.
Lijiang is less than 200 kilometers from Dali. When the train approached Dali, there was a section of the road running on the Erhai Lake, and the vast and endless water suddenly aroused people's interest.
At two o'clock in the afternoon, the inn came to take us to the "Wu Ruo Boutique Inn" near the Erhai Gate in Dali Ancient City. This is also the center of the ancient city. Walking more than 100 meters from the inn is the main street (this distance is convenient for customers to shop and blocks the noise on the street), and you can see the ancient city gate of Erhai Gate, where you can find everything you need for dining and shopping. The waiters in this inn are mainly young men, and everything is for the convenience of customers to play and rest, and they are considerate to customers. On the second day of our stay, another group of more than 20 people came to check in. The front desk manager, a young man surnamed Che, said to me, Uncle, I will transfer you a place to make sure you are more satisfied! We moved to the No. 8 courtyard tens of meters away. Sure enough, the environment here is better. A few steps out of the door on the second and third floors is an exquisite terrace with tea tables and armchairs, where customers can drink tea while basking in the sun. Standing here, you can see the clouds and mist of the vast Cangshan Mountain, the spire of the Three Pagodas of Dali and the golden glazed tiles of the temple.
The inn already has seven chain stores.
The next day we went to the Three Towers to play. Take a taxi from Erhai Gate, and you will arrive at the gate of the Three Pagodas for 9 yuan.
The Three Pagodas of Dali are the most famous landmarks in Dali.
The Three Pagodas are backed by the Mangcang Mountain and facing the Erhai Lake. They were built in the late Tang Dynasty. They are composed of one large tower and two small towers. The big tower is named Qianxun Tower, with a height of 69 meters. This height is five meters higher than the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in Xi'an. Hundreds of meters behind the Three Pagodas is the Chongsheng Temple. Because I had no feeling for Buddhism, I gave up temple tours.
After leaving the Three Pagodas, I learned that the Nanzhao Dehua Monument was not far away when I asked for directions, so I found a bus and boarded the bus, and soon came to the ruins of Taihe City. According to the introduction, there are hundreds of meters of Nanzhao city wall ruins in the ruins area, which is also the biggest motivation that attracts me to come here non-stop and follow the map. Unfortunately, due to the lack of tourists, the site has been locked for many days, and only the famous Dehua stele stands desolately in the stele pavilion, accompanied by the setting sun, autumn wind and wild grass.
The Nanzhao Dehua Monument was erected in 766 A.D. in the early days of the Nanzhao Kingdom, known as the No. 1 Monument in Yunnan. The stele is 3.02 meters high, 2.27 meters wide, and 0.58 meters thick. An article was written by an official of Nanzhao State, describing the unavoidable nature of Nanzhao's discord and war with Tang Dynasty. At the same time, it also shows that once the time is right, Nanzhao will still be loyal to Datang. However, due to the long history, the original inscription of more than 4,000 characters is now only legible with more than 700 characters.
In this desolate Taihe City ruins, wandering around the ancient stele, it seems that the flames of war, the shouts of fighting, the envoys shuttle to bridge the gaps, and finally return to the complicated and intertwined picture of national integration, can't help but feel a lot of emotion... ..
Leaving the Dehua Monument, asked for directions, and got a villager's careful guidance, and took a bus to Butterfly Spring.
As soon as I saw the three words Butterfly Spring, the song "Dali is beautiful in March, and the Butterfly Spring is easy to dress up..." sounded in my ears, and as soon as I stepped into the gate of the park, my heart seemed to be full of romantic feelings , "Five Golden Flowers" and "Ashima" are closely related to this clear spring.
When I was young, I listened to the music of "Ashima" and "Five Golden Flowers" too much, and I had already deified the Butterfly Spring in my heart, thinking that it should be a spotless temple of love. Now when I came to the Butterfly Spring, I saw the hustle and bustle of tourists, the cries of vendors, and the sound of snapping pictures, which dilutes the excitement in my heart. The spotless plot, characters and the feeling of becoming a fairy in my heart have quietly disappeared, leaving only a trace of melancholy.
Visit Foreigner Street at night. It was strange at first: Foreigner Street? Then it suddenly dawned on me: During the Anti-Japanese War, Yunnan was the back room, and the internationally renowned "Hump Airlines" and the Flying Tigers were all active in the area centered on Kunming, and Dali was of course not an exception.
Dali has played several scenic spots. My daughter repeatedly recommended us to go to Shuanglang Ancient Town, saying that it is closer to the Erhai Lake, and we can get close to the Erhai Lake, and quickly booked us a residence in Shuanglang. So, I asked the front desk manager, the guy surnamed Che, for transportation directions. The young man asked me: Where do you want to go? I said, I want to go to Shuanglang. The manager of the car said happily: This is easy to handle. I will take you to the station, which is at the Chengbei Bus Station, which means that you will arrive in seven or eight minutes. Let me tell you, let's go. I felt at ease all of a sudden. In this way, at 9 o'clock in the morning on November 15th, the manager of the car sent us to Dali City North Passenger Station. Unexpectedly, one bus just left, and the next one will have to wait for a while. So we temporarily stored our luggage at the ticket office of the station, and took this opportunity to visit the nearby south gate of the ancient city. Unexpectedly, the south gate of this ancient city is very imposing, with a majestic aura, which can be regarded as a crooked attack.
At 12:30 noon, the long-distance bus bound for Shuanglang Ancient Town left the North Passenger Transport Station and headed northward, basically around the Erhai Lake. I was still thinking: "The South Gate of the Ancient City" is clearly written on the road sign, and the North Passenger Transport Station is on the other side of the road? oh! I understand that the ancient city of Dali is located in the north of the new urban area, and the passenger station needs to be named after the north of the city and it is located just around the south gate of the ancient city, so there is the seemingly strange name of the city north passenger station at the south gate of the ancient city.
Two hours later, we arrived at Shuanglang Town, 60 kilometers away, a small town on the Erhai Lake. The "No. 1 Town of Cang'er Scenery" on the antique gate tower is particularly eye-catching.
Walking into the ancient town, as expected, the style is quite different. There is a fresh and well-organized building group that incorporates different ethnic styles, and the streets are winding. Like Lijiang, there are flowers and green grass every step of the way. The Mulianhua Erhai Resort Hotel is located in the middle of the ancient town. Just after checking in, a waitress had already picked up our suitcases and went upstairs. I have already caught up, took the box and carried it upstairs.
There is indeed a feeling of being at home.
We live on the fourth floor, but because the front desk is on the second floor, the floor is not high. And the fifth floor is the roof platform, which is very convenient to go up and down. Since then, I have to go up to the top of the building several times a day, waiting for the sunrise to watch the sunset, enjoying the twilight to watch the morning light, or drinking a cup of tea with the moon as a companion, and sitting there quietly watching the Erhai Lake. It is a quiet and peaceful enjoyment.
