In 2020, after graduating from graduate school, I decided to take another look at Hulunbeier's autumn. This time, I decided to travel by car with my friends. Although many tours are chartered, the so-called go away, in fact, the time to stay in each scenic spot is still limited, I prefer to completely control the pace of travel by myself.

This time I booked a golf from eHi car rental in advance. Although it is a sparsely populated prairie, the condition of the car is actually very good. A five-seater car can fully handle this trip.

There is no direct flight from Chengdu to Hailar. We first went to Zhengzhou for a transit, and then went to Hailar. It was already dark when we landed in Hailar. I saw the long sunset on the plane, which was very beautiful. I also saw the brightly lit Hailar, which is completely different from the vastness of our five-day itinerary.

When we landed in Hailar, we went to pick up the car first. Yihi’s store is at the airport, so it’s very convenient to pick up the car. After completing the formalities, we drove to the hotel. It was already very cold in Hailar in early October, and with a one-day transit, I was very tired from flying, so I ordered takeaway. The mutton is chosen outside, which is expensive, but it is also delicious. The meat skewers here are also very generous.

We set off early the next day. As soon as I left the city, I came across a scenic spot. Because the destination was the prairie, the scenic spot looked average, so I didn't go in to play.

I saw the grassland on the road, and the grass was still light green at this time. Moreover, you can also see a lot of haystacks scattered on the grassland. A few of us found a place to park the car, took some photos on the grassland and continued on our way.

Seeing a beautiful scenic spot, I got out of the car and went shopping. Fully feel the benefits of self-driving tour, this is the real stop and stop.

Had a hot pot meal in town with friends, Meng Xingyue. It sounds good to be famous. The mutton hot pot in Inner Mongolia is particularly delicious. In recent years, my dad has started to buy beef and mutton from Inner Mongolia.

After dinner, drive to Erguna Wetland. There are sightseeing cars in the scenic area. Because it is the first real scenic spot in the journey, I think it is not bad and worth it. But it is similar to Moerdaoga Forest Park and so on, just go to one.

The birch forest here is really beautiful. The leaves are panicking, and next to it is a winding river, guarding this piece of heaven and earth.

It was already evening when we reached the Genhe River. I went to eat the iron pot stew, which is very large, with steak and oxtail inside. The name is also very down-to-earth, let's stew in an iron pot.

Stayed in a small hotel that night. If the weather is good, you can see the starry sky at night, but unfortunately it was cloudy that day. However, from a distance, the wooden house is still very good.

The good thing here is that you can see the reindeer the next day, it's really nice, very cute antlers.

This Zhuoluozi is a small house made by the Ewenki people. They used to hunt in the forest. I originally thought that no one hunted in about 90 years. It is said that the people here came down to live in the mountain in 14 years. I don't know if it is true or not.

I drove for a long time on the road that day, but stopped and stopped, and received many good photos. This is Daxing'an Mountains, with all kinds of trees on both sides.

Drive all the way to Delpur, a border town. Playing in Hulunbeier, you can go in when you see a small town or a restaurant at noon, because there are not many small towns along the way. This time it was still stewed in an iron pot. But there are too many vegetables in it, almost no meat, and the taste is average. The price is high.

After that, we came to Moerdaoga Forest Park together. I really don't have much interest in this forest park, but this little train is not bad, so I can exclude some nice photos.

When I arrived in Shiwei, I lived in a small hotel. You can see the Russian village opposite through the window, and the view is very good. The inns here are actually not bad, and they also have air conditioning and separate bathrooms.

Went out for a stroll at night. Although not as prosperous as the big cities, it is still very good.

Dinner ended with mutton. Although it is Russian food, I think it is no different from our Chinese food. The mutton kebabs taste good, we ordered 30 pieces, and also ordered some dishes. The last four people spent more than 400, which is really expensive.

In many itineraries, Enhe will be used as a scenic spot or a place to stay at night, but I don't think it is necessary. It is better to drive directly to Manzhouli. We went to Manzhouli after shopping in Enhe the next day.

There is a section of the road here that is not very good, so drive slowly.

Encountered a lot of beautiful scenery along the way. Chartered tours have several scenic spots to go every day, but in fact, the most beautiful scenery is really on the road.

After passing through Wulan Mountain, the peak is not high, and the river inside is particularly beautiful. It looks like a yin and yang gossip. It is estimated that it can only be photographed from a bird's eye view or a drone.

Passed through the Montenegro port, but because of the epidemic, it was not open here. We drove all the way to Manzhouli. This is a place I'm looking forward to.

Manzhouli - that mysterious place

My understanding of Manzhouli is through TV dramas. Manzhouli, I feel that it often appears in Qing palace dramas. This time we stayed in a very stylish hotel - Matryoshka Hotel. There are all kinds of nesting dolls inside, which look good.

I went to eat local specialties for dinner, and this hand-picked meat is simply wonderful. Super big portion and delicious. The few of us really enjoyed ourselves.

Beef tendon is also delicious. Chewy, yet tasty. Several of us commented that this was the most satisfying meal we had during this trip.

This is a dream - check in the tablet world

Since I started traveling in Hulunbeier, Qinghai, and Xinjiang, one of the things I want to do the most is to check in all kinds of monuments, which is simply too enjoyable. This time, I took a photo with Boundary Pillar 41. In fact, many boundary markers are not open. When I saw this train and drove out of the country, my blood was boiling with excitement.

In the distance is Russia. There is a matryoshka square here, which still looks too ordinary, so we went to eat after shopping. Really eat late every day.

This one is in Matryoshka Hot Pot City. It is very cheap, with a meal costing about 300 yuan, four people can eat very full. The point is, the mutton here is super delicious.

After playing in Manzhouli for two days, our destination is already Hailar. On the way back, I met Hulun Lake again. I liked it very much, especially the two Populus euphratica I saw on the roadside, which looked tall and mighty.

Even if it's just for the food, I will definitely come to Hulunbuir again next time. After communicating with my friends, I will rent an SUV next time and go shopping in winter.
