        Self-driving cars are the key. Many posts on the Internet give a relatively open choice of car models, so as long as there is no major problem with the car condition, there is basically no problem! We drove a 2.0 self-priming SUV steel wire, and the beauty of the corner king did show its advantages in the following journey.

        Necessary medicines for the journey, this is not a joke, from head to toe, from the inside to the outside, it really needs to be considered carefully, and the first aid medicine is also brought. Oxygen is essential. One of the big treasures this time must be a special oxygen generator for plateaus. It can be used in vehicles, lithium batteries can be taken out, and 12-220V can be switched to hotels. In addition, Rhodiola or something, after taking it for about a week, although the time is a bit short, it does have some effect, this item varies from person to person, if you buy it, you must buy authentic ones! There is also physical training. Before going to the base camp, a friend jogged every day half a year in advance, which was of great help to the body's adaptation to the plateau air pressure.

        For daily necessities, it doesn’t feel like driving in the dress. Anyway, there is only a T-shirt in the car, and a coat when you get out of the car, and the plateau is not suitable for bathing, so just change your clothes and underwear. All kinds of sweaters, coats, thick down, cotton wool trousers, etc. we prepared wereted a lot of space and were basically useless. However, if you are planning to do outdoor activities for a long time, you still need to pay attention to cold protection and warmth, and don’t catch cold. In addition, Internet celebrity friends who need to live broadcast need to bring more equipment. Also, bring a few copies of some of the little things that you often use, as you may not be able to buy the same style over there.

         The plateau is dry, drink plenty of water and eat more fruits. If you are not used to eating Tibetan food, you should bring your own dry food. Plateau yak meat is a must-have.

Day 1: Shanghai - Hunan (Zhuzhou)

        In fact, the first day was very tiring. Because of the excitement, I went to bed late the night before, so I picked an auspicious time to set off in the morning.

        One of the reasons for rushing early is to avoid the traffic restrictions outside the Shanghai urban area during the morning rush hour, and the second is to avoid the congested traffic flow during the morning rush hour. The plan is good, but the reality is that the Ring Expressway out of Shanghai is still full of traffic, especially the heavy traffic, and I, a weakling, can only cautiously move forward slowly beside the big cars for the sake of a lofty goal. Looks like it will have to be earlier next time. 15 minutes to Shanghai Jinjiang Big Turntable, 50 minutes to G60 Shanghai-Kunming Expressway Shanghai Fengjing Toll Station. Passing by the small hills of Shaoxing looks very spiritual, no wonder there are so many celebrities in this place. Day 2: Zhuzhou - Guizhou (Anshun)

        What is there in Guizhou? It seems that I only know Huangguoshu Waterfall. After studying the map, I found that Anshun was suitable for transit, so I made a choice. As for the scenic spots, I gave up decisively because I started the rush mode. In fact, if I am free and interested, I can go to see Huangguoshu and the Wugong Mountain in Pingxiang and Tongren Fanjing Mountain that I passed by. I don't like it.

        What’s also annoying is that after passing through Jiangxi, because of the mountainous high-speed speed limit, I basically say goodbye to 120. Drilling holes is commonplace. Switching the speed limit from 100-110 to 80-90 is a headache, and Guizhou is a national big data center. Interval speed measurement settings are particularly diverse. The world's second highest-definition Shuihe Bridge feels great.

Day 3: Anshun - Yunnan (Dali)

        I still set off after breakfast, feeling a little joyful because the next stop is a familiar place. Leaving Anshun, passing the Baling River Bridge, the first suspension bridge in Guizhou, and the Beipanjiang Bridge, the world's first bridge, the towering bridges connect the rich and abrupt hills, and the villages and flowing water in the valley appear particularly natural and harmonious. Here I have to lament the strength of the motherland's infrastructure construction and the greatness of the bridge technical workers. Unknowingly, I have entered Yunnan, and the first border inspection station needs to stop for questioning and inspection. For travel, this undoubtedly increases the sense of security in an instant. Of course, China is the safest country in the world, not one of them.

        Yunnan has always wanted to travel by car, but I have been to all the famous places, so I have never made the trip. This time I chose the Yunnan-Tibet line to enter Tibet, which can be regarded as a small task by the way. When I first entered Yunnan, I felt an inexplicable feeling of intimacy. The clouds in the sky are beautiful. I believe that here, dreams will turn into reality, and reality is so beautiful and deeply rooted in people's hearts.

        I didn’t arrange too many journeys today, in order to see Dali’s wind, flowers, snow and moon again, and reminisce about the Erhai Lake back then. But suddenly found that the once beautiful beauty is no longer there. Sitting in the restaurant where we ate at night, I feel that things are not the same as people, but the mirror in our hearts is no longer dazzling. But believe me, it's reasonable. Day 4: Dali - Lijiang

    In the morning, I took an aerial photo of Erhai Lake. The drone touched a tree on the mountain ε=(?ο`*))), and then climbed up the hillside to pick up the wreckage. Fortunately, I found it later, and the problem was not too big. I bought a tripod, but later found that there was an antenna inside, which led to the lack of aerial photography in the following trip. But finding a plane is also a very interesting experience.

        After the episode, I washed off the dirt on my body and continued on the road. Because my friend arrived in Lijiang on the night of the 30th, so the schedule was not in a hurry, so I chose Dali to take a leisurely tour of the Lijiang mountainous area. Depart at around 12 o'clock, go down from the Shuanglang of Dali Expressway, insert the eastward mountain road, go northward along the Jinsha River, pass Yongsheng to Heqing, and finally drive to Lijiang on the airport expressway. On the way, the road conditions in some sections ahead are not very good, and there are landslides. If you encounter a large vehicle, you need to pull over in advance. As we gradually penetrate into the hinterland of the mountains, on the red soil, the cornfields all over the mountain are lush and lush, and the soil carried by the Jinsha River is pregnant with a party of children, and hardworking people can be seen everywhere under the blue sky and white clouds. In the evening, arrive in Lijiang, and welcome guests at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. This is the snow-capped mountain with the lowest latitude in the northern hemisphere and is covered with snow all the year round. The Lijiang Basin under the snow-capped mountains is particularly vibrant.

        Yunnan did not choose to live in the ancient city at night. First of all, it is inconvenient to park. In addition, I still want to focus on comfort. It was too late at night to be too lazy to move, so I ordered a Yunnan rice noodle, which tasted pretty good.

Day 5: Lijiang

        Rest in Lijiang for a whole day and pick up the airport at night. Because of the lack of time, the friends who could only fly from Shanghai to Lijiang to save time joined the team and officially embarked on a trip to Tibet.

          The breakfast is pretty good, after all, it is owned by Hilton. Today happens to be my birthday. Although I am alone, I am not alone, because I have received blessings from all parties since yesterday. I have paid for BMW Cloud, Tencent Ma Huateng, major banks, emails, and messages. , The official account is posted one by one, I am very satisfied and happy to see... Ugh!

        After breakfast, walk for a quarter of an hour to visit the ancient city. There are no people during the day, but the strong atmosphere of celebrating the National Day and the bright decorations with fluttering red flags have covered the entire city. The ancient city has been over-commercialized, so I bought some yak meat, looked at the waterwheel and went back to the hotel. Because I have been to the surrounding attractions before (I found a photo of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain before), I continued to rest at the hotel. After all, the itinerary is very tight and challenging, so I need to recharge my batteries!

        In the evening, as always, I received a birthday cake specially ordered from afar, with a blue pony, which was very dreamy. Another year spent in a foreign land is an unforgettable day in life.

On the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China, on a meaningful day, I embarked on a journey into heavenly Tibet from Lijiang with my friends. Everything is so beautiful and easy. The previous itinerary took 5 days from Shanghai to Zhuzhou to Anshun and then to Dali Lijiang, and Lijiang took a day off. Due to time constraints, we plan to travel through Tibet in 5 days, head to Mount Everest and then return to Lhasa, which seems to be another journey that requires physical strength and faith to complete.

Day 6: Lijiang - Tibet (Mangkang)

        Breakfast at 8 o'clock in the morning, the table was decorated with national flags everywhere, departed from Lijiang at 9 o'clock, entered Qamdo, Tibet at 21 o'clock in the evening, and chose to continue on the road for the overall feasibility of the itinerary, and drove for another 6 hours to arrive in Mangkang, Qamdo A small town at a lower altitude in the county - Rumei Town Distribution Center is used as a place to rest on the first night. The last section of the road about 200 meters has not been repaired, but I believe it will be an excellent foothold for 318 in the future.

    Regarding the road conditions, because of the National Day, the traffic flow on the road is still relatively large, some road sections have no middle line, and there is only one road, and there are many large vehicles, so the overall driving is not very fast. The basic traffic flow behind Diqing is less, and the scenery has become extraordinarily magnificent. My friend is driving and I am studying the map and admiring the beautiful scenery. The subdivision is basically the first half of the 214 National Highway going north along the Jinsha River across the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain-Haba Snow Mountain-Pudacuo National Park-Shangri-La-Meili Snow Mountain, and then continue on the 214 National Highway all the way north. The Lancang River points directly at the sky between the natural dangers. The altitude spans one after another, but relatively speaking, it has not yet reached the average height of Tibet. Day 7: Mangkang - Bomi

    At 10 o'clock in the morning, I replenished my supplies with excitement and set off on the road. The 318 Mangkang section has not been very good, and it has been repaired. Out of Rumei Town, we headed for Jueba Mountain Pass. The scenery along the way was not to mention, and the mood was particularly sunny, with an altitude of 3940. When you drive into the authentic Sichuan-Tibet route, you will see many knights. My friends and I admire their courage and perseverance.

     This is the first time I came to Tibet. If I use one word to describe Tibet, then I feel that it can be described as "big". Its atmosphere is majestic, its atmosphere is amazing, and you will feel the insignificance of human beings in nature. but! This is our motherland and our homeland. At the foot of the majestic and colorful mountains, there is a steady stream of snow-capped holy springs. Many people come to Tibet. I want to wash away the filth in my heart, maybe I should stay here for a while. If you are young and your heart has never been polluted, then please move on. After passing Zuogong, he climbed up Yela Mountain along Yuqu and entered the territory of Qamdo Bangda Town. The grasslands basically withered in this season, but under the sunshine, the golden alpine meadows all over the mountain showed his Tenacious and stubborn. Spring, summer, autumn and winter, it goes round and round, perhaps the kingly spirit under the Nu River has strengthened this great river and mountain. Thousands of bends, 10,000 turns, and 72 turns of the Nujiang River are absolutely unique in the world.     Driving on the road, the scenery is in the eyes, the brain is working, the mobile phone is recording^_^, the sky is getting dark, it is important to hurry. The afterglow of the sunset gave us the direction. After eight nights, it is basically a night road. Although the theme of looking at the scenery is missing, driving has become the main pleasure. In the past, it was said on the Internet that Tibet’s night roads cannot be driven. Now I just want to say haha . . The road at night gives people unlimited imagination, looking up is the starry sky (unfortunately, this time the schedule is too tight and I don’t have the energy to take pictures of the starry sky), the window is opened, and the breath of the high cold brought by the snow-capped mountains at night instantly wakes up the whole person without any sleepiness. Of course, the road conditions at night are quite complicated. Be careful when passing cars on the road. After all, the lane is very narrow, and the distance of the lights needs to be more sure in such an open place at night. Pay more attention to livestock and potholes on the road. In the end, there should be two sections of wading road near Ranwu Lake. If the situation is unknown, you have to get out of the car to observe.

    Arrive at the Bomi County Hotel at 1:00 in the morning. The day's journey is over, the whole journey is 520 kilometers, and it takes 15 hours.

Day 8: Bomi - Lhasa - Shigatse

        After two days of high altitude, I have basically adapted to the altitude of 3500+ (accompanied by the whole process of oxygen generator), and the next stop will be the core area of ​​the roof of Tibet. Diet in Tibet may not be so easy to satisfy travelers. In addition to Tibetan food and Sichuan cuisine, the only food that may make you full is yak meat and instant noodles. So drinking a bowl of porridge for breakfast in the hotel will never let it go. The dry food we prepare in the car includes: water, tea, biscuits, chocolate, sugary drinks, fruits (supplementary vitamins, fiber), and dried yak meat.

        The 318 in Tibet is so famous, although several other roads have been opened in recent years. After I arrived, I realized that it was impossible to walk among the winding and steep mountains and rivers under natural conditions, so I had the 318 classics that must be walked in this life.

        In the early morning, Jiangnan in Tibet is surrounded by mountains, and the clouds are very low and within reach. Under such strong convective currents, Bomi to Nyingchi often has bursts of warm drizzle. We traveled along the Palong Zangbo in the alpine rainforest. Everything here is unknown, but it seems familiar. Maybe it is because we all live in the south of the Yangtze River, so we are not too surprised by the scenery here. Now I think of an old friend who said that Lin Zhi would not rush there if it was not the peach blossom season. It is not unreasonable. However, the altitude of Nyingchi is suitable for all friends who have a Tibetan dream but have stopped because of high altitude. There are many scenic spots and the facilities are very complete.

        Passing through Nyingchi City, under the unique light of the plateau, and crossing the Bayi Bridge, Niyangqu looks particularly blue. The trees grow tall and strong here, depicting colors and variegations for our travel. Pass the bridge and drive into the Linla Expressway. It was the first time I took the expressway in Tibet, and I was very happy! Once again witnessed the strength of the motherland! Here, by the way, the Mira Mountain Tunnel has been completed. If you go to the Mira Mountain Pass, it is recommended to turn to the Songduo Exit of the Linla Expressway and turn to 318 (entering the tunnel to see that the bridge is being repaired above, and it is estimated that a new section of the road is being planned.     In the west of the motherland, the sunset is always the latest. After seven o'clock, under the reflection of the setting sun, the broad road is shining with golden light, and the colorful Lhasa River next to the expressway is even more dazzling. Sometimes people don't like the sunset, afraid that it will leave us and leave the dark night, but forget that there is light in our life, and believe that the unique light will shine for us before the next dawn bright guardian.

        The friend made careful arrangements and arrived near the Potala Palace Square around 8:30 in the evening. To see this holy red and white palace on such a memorable festival, we couldn't hide the joy and excitement in our hearts at this moment, and there was a little sparkle in our eyes.         The high altitude of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau makes drivers who are new here more or less uncomfortable. The speed limit between Lhasa and Shigatse has always existed, and it is not a fake, 40/hour is the norm. Go west along the Yarlung Zangbo River on National Highway 318. In addition to the reduced field of vision when driving at night, there are relatively few vehicles on the road. When driving until two or three o'clock in the middle of the night, my friend didn't know whether it was because he was tired or because Gao Fan had lost all energy. The starry sky at night is beautiful, and we didn't have much time to look at the stars, but because of our love and persistence, we still pulled out the tripod from the trunk and took a picture in an exhausted state. The Shigatse Airport Expressway is being extended, so there are several sections of road construction in Shigatse, and it is believed that the driving time will be further shortened in the near future. Life is always balanced. After walking 30 to 50 kilometers on the muddy road with potholes, we finally drove into the expressway again. The last section of Shigatse Airport to the hotel was about an hour's drive, which marked the end of our journey today. .

        When I arrived at the hotel, it was already around 4 in the morning. Due to the high altitude, I carried the oxygen machine to the room, and my friend fell directly on the bed, motionless and unable to speak. It was a bit scary.

Day 9: Shigatse - Mount Everest - Lazi

My friend is still sluggish after driving until 3 o’clock in the middle of the night. Looks sluggish. Back in the room, we sorted out our luggage. Amid the anxiety and uneasiness, we prepared the equipment for going to the Mount Everest scenic spot, including various emergency medicines, oxygen generators, digital cameras, and down jackets. The car is always accompanied by an oxygen machine, and some people do not support the use of oxygen equipment, thinking that it will lose the feeling of the plateau. But my friend, as a doctor, still advises some friends who occasionally travel not to overestimate their bodies, and to protect their bodies when traveling on plateaus. Among them, adrenal corticosteroids for emergency shock that may be caused by hyperreflexia are also introduced into the needle for emergency use. I once had the idea of ​​canceling and changing the itinerary, but my little friend who was unable to walk and had dull eyes insisted that he would not give up after going through so much, which made us continue the rest of the itinerary. It is difficult to find detailed strategies and introductions about today's itinerary planning on the Internet. We plan to start from Shigatse - Lazi County - Tingri County - the entrance of Mount Everest National Park - the internal 70KM Mount Everest Road - the transfer point of Rongbuk Temple, and then choose whether to transfer to the internal sightseeing bus in the scenic spot to get close to Zhumolangma according to the situation Peak group photo.

        We set off from Shigatse at around 11:00, because it has always been a plateau area with an altitude of more than 4000. The scenery of 318 along the way has become more vast. Although the mountain ridges are not very high, they are full of momentum. The trees on both sides are even more golden, slightly mottled in the whirling light and shadow. In this way, on the 318 National Highway with constant speed measurement in the interval, we slowly crossed the Cuola Pass and arrived in Lazi County. Now the roads in Tibet are well repaired. As long as you don’t take too many wild roads, there will be no legends about the car being scrapped for a trip to Tibet. On the plateau, the car’s high reaction is a bit high, so don’t worry about it. Interval speed measurement 30-40 How fast do you want to run? The engine runs smoothly at about 3000 rpm. Sometimes the uphill and cornering acceleration may be around 5000 rpm. Of course, you still have to pay attention to safety when driving, and check the vehicle brakes, batteries, tires and other components that are susceptible to wear before and after departure.   After driving 155KM for about 3 hours, we turned left at the intersection of National Highway 318 and National Highway 219 (Xinzang Highway) and headed towards Tingri. The trip to Ali that was planned in August was not realized due to time factors. We hope to have the opportunity to pass this intersection again in the future. The Lazi checkpoint requires a border pass. This needs to be done in advance at the place of household registration or temporary residence. The specific procedures are based on local policies. We did it in Shanghai. The pass marked the whole area of ​​Tibet, and the police clerk noted the counties. 318 went to Mount Everest through Lazi County and Tingri County. If you only write Shigatse, you may not be able to go. People, vehicles, and IDs all need to be checked, so I feel safe! I believe that in this magical and charming land, you will not get lost, let alone get lost!

        Of course, during the one-and-a-half-hour drive from Lazi to Tingri, you will pass through the Gyatso-La Mountain Pass at an altitude of 5248. Sitting in the car, the snow-covered peaks that suddenly appeared under the blue sky and white clouds opened the curtain in my eyes during the curve. It was really amazing. I wondered if I saw an alien planet. Passing through the gate on the Tianlu Road between the mountain passes, you will arrive at Tingri County, which is actually entering the Mount Everest Nature Reserve. After continuing to drive for about 60 kilometers, we arrived at the gate of Mount Everest National Park. It was already around 5:30 in the afternoon, we bought tickets for 2 people and a pass for the vehicle, and drove into the scenic spot.

        In the past, the possible goal of Mount Everest was to head to the base camp and take a picture at Rongbuk Monastery. Now, after the establishment of the core area of ​​Mount Everest, what we have brought to us is by no means an artificial modern landscape avenue. After driving in, you will find that everything here is so natural. The road 108, the dreaming road of self-driving, turns very quickly. Let us burn infinite passion on the perfect curve, the tall and straight mountain peaks are close to us, and the sound of the wind whistling mixed with the mixed sound of the car audio only makes people move forward bravely.

        At the Jiawula Pass at an altitude of 5210, we rushed to the viewing platform. Seeing Mount Everest standing majestic on the Himalayas, we came to the world with you to pursue a dream.         When we arrived at the transfer point of Rongbuk Monastery, it was almost sunset. Although the golden light and shadow on the top of the mountain in the distance were not so obvious, they could still show the traces of time passing.         Returning to Lazi County on the same road, the herdsmen in the protected area drove their cattle home in the evening, and the children under the mountains ran in the fields. Sunset, sunset, Mount Everest bred the people here, and they also guarded this place with the same love. Day 10: Lazi - Lhasa

        From Lazi to Lhasa, we did not use the 318 when we came, but turned from the Shigatse Airport to the provincial road in the Shannan area at high speed. Along the way, we felt the enthusiasm of the Tibetan people at a closer distance.

        We set off at 11:00 in the morning, arrived at Yanghu Lake at sunset in the evening, and arrived in Lhasa at 23:00.

        In fact, after watching the journey of Mount Everest, the return journey came to an end. Various reasons along the way led us to not have much time to experience it carefully. We can only describe the journey with car videos and roadside scenery. This may be the helplessness of self-driving Tibet. and categorized. After writing this, I will share some photos on the return trip later. In addition, I finally share a video of today. There is a short section of aerial photography and the passing Carola Glacier and Yanghu Lake are still quite good.

10-day return journey: Tibet-Shanghai

        In the morning, after sending my friends to the airport, the car did a simple oil change and started the journey back to Shanghai. Since the return trip is by one person, basically driving is the main thing, get off at a beautiful place to take a photo, and share a wave of scenery along the way here. I won't make too many records, and I will go to the west of Sichuan again when I have the opportunity to feel it carefully. The overall itinerary is to take the Sichuan-Tibet line to Chengdu, then make a transit in Hubei, and finally return home to rest for a few days before arriving in Shanghai.
