In Zhengding, I visited the Chenghuang Temple, which is located on the Southwest Street in the city. According to records, Zhengding Town God's Temple was first built in the third year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1370), facing south from north, and the buildings on the central axis from south to north are the theater building, dry bridge, archway, mountain gate, main hall, and rear palace. On both sides of it are the east and west verandahs, the side rooms on the left and right of the main hall, and the ancillary buildings on the two wings of the rear palace. The whole group of buildings is large in scale, majestic in momentum, rigorous in layout, and clearly defined in priority and secondary. It is a typical layout of Chinese Taoist temple halls integrating art and culture. Chenghuang Temple has become the center of Zhengding Taoist activities since its completion. Since the fifteenth year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1382), the officials in charge of Taoist affairs in the government office - Daoji Siduji and Deputy Duji, and the Taoist Association in the county government have all lived in the Temple of the City God and presided over the temple. and local affairs. They were all destroyed during the Cultural Revolution, and now they are all newly built buildings. They have not been fully built yet, and there are no statues of City God and Grandma City God. Zhengding Confucian Temple, there are two Confucian Temples in Zhengding Ancient City, one is Zhengding Prefecture Confucian Temple, the other is Zhengding County Confucian Temple. I visited Xiaxian Confucian Temple. It is located about 150 meters north of the intersection of Yucai Street and Zhongshan West Road (Zhengding County On the west side of the Sixth Middle School), there are only buildings such as Zhaobi, Jimen, East and West Veranda and Dacheng Hall, covering an area of about 5,000 square meters. Dacheng Hall is the earliest surviving Confucian Temple Dacheng Hall in China.

Dacheng Hall is a national key cultural relic protection unit. According to the appraisal of Mr. Liang Sicheng, a famous ancient architect, the Dacheng Hall in Zhengding Confucian Temple is very similar to the buildings in the murals of Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang. It should be the building of the Five Dynasties period (907-960 AD). . It is much earlier than the existing Dacheng Hall of the Confucian Temple in Qufu, Shandong. I think the buildings are relatively new, unlike those in the Five Dynasties period.

He was born in Zhengding, Zhejiang Province, and was a famous general of the Shu Han Dynasty during the Three Kingdoms period. After the death of Zhao Yun, he was posthumously named "Shunping Hou" in the fourth year of Jingyao in the Shu Han Dynasty (AD 261). The Zhaoyun Temple rebuilt in Zhengding County on the site of the original Daoguang period covers an area of 12 mu, with a total construction area of 1500 square meters. The temple adopts an imitation of the ancient architectural structure of Ming and Qing Dynasties, and is divided into the first courtyard and the second courtyard. The main buildings include Temple Gate, Siyi Hall, Wuhu Hall, Junchen Hall and Shunping Hou Hall, which basically preserve and enrich the historical features of the original temple.
